So but it is real my passport names my driver's license name and here I am. I don't know I think I might have changed it know what I know now being involved in Christianity but God made all

Yeah yeah well I get a bit sensitive because people often mispronounce my last name but as the old adage goes call me whatever you want as long as you don't call me late for dinner right. Okay there you go alright. Alright so give us give us the 411. I'm sure nobody says that anymore but I'm gonna resurrect that phrase right give us the info. Kids nowadays would be like 411 what is that right. Yeah do you do one on
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   the phone anymore but tell us about your background. I'll do my best to be like a flat rock going across the water and skip across. Okay I was raised in a vitally dysfunctional family I left at 16 years old dropped out of school. My brother was three when I left when he got to be 16 he dropped out of school so it was an intense family that never changed. I had two sisters between us when they got 16 they all did the same thing. So on my own and pursuing life with not much education I was a rapid stutterer I could only say five words in a row without stuttering and my family and friends would laugh and mock me. So at 23 and I'm from Ohio in the most
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   part but I went to San Diego at 21 and never went back. Oh wait wait wait you're a Buckeye I'm a Michigander. Yeah I saw that. I saw that. I can't talk to a Buckeye. But seriously just joking.
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   Continue sharing. Oh no I understand that because I lived in Toledo, Ohio so we're close to the border and Michiganders were hard to talk to. I appreciate that respect it but I'm from California now so we're the melting pot of everybody. So when I'm out there I have this near-death experience at 23 in Santa Monica California. I have this awakening that I met the Lord in a dream and of course now I'm on educated and stuttering and I felt the presence of the Lord say what do you want to do? Do you want to stay here or go back? And I said what would I do if I went back? And next thing you know I'm in front of audiences teaching and I'm teaching what Jesus said and I didn't quite understand all I knew about this. My mother raised me on the red letters of the Bible so I was familiar with what I call the spirit and the voice and the light but it was an awakening without a doubt. And when I come out of that I went to work at the Del Carney Institute. I ended up reading about 500 books. I've become a national international motivational speaker for 15 years. I did 2,500 speeches and was called off of that when I was 49 years old to work on what I'm now doing at 72. So to me it's been a long journey and then of course as soon as I got into the ministry along came the book that Joe tests you know where you get tested on everything. And as your bio says you're a cancer survivor well at 59 I developed bladder cancer and was giving three years to live. That took me down to Nagril Jamaica for a 21 day Sabbath I mean a sabbatical fasting prayer that's how I got associated with that with a Jamaica to start with. And in 21 days I was in prayer and fasting I read everything Jesus said about healing and I go back to see my doctor and they release me cancer free. So my life has been devoted to doing what I'm now doing teaching the book what did Jesus say. And so now there's a lot of things going on but that's the thumbnail. I went from a very explosive home life to where I am now which gives me I think a competitive edge doing counseling with people and doing coaching which is what I now do online. So now I hear I
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   am with you here I am with you now. Hey you've reached the pinnacle right? You got it. It's all downhill after this Terry. For the benefit of the transcript for those who read it I'm laughing out loud. I do not take myself that seriously. That's just a joke because you know there will be somebody out there on social media. Oh my god did you hear this guy? He is so full of himself. No I understand the biblical hubris issue there. That's why I'm willing to joke about it to partially make a point. But yeah what I really really like. Now a little behind the scenes too. You and I are both part of Pastor Robert Kividows, Friska Masters, Organization Group, site whatever you want to call it. And that's kind of how we connected. How long have you known
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   Pastor Robert? Well I first met him in 2020. I have a close friend named Helen Cook who runs a group called Prime Star publicity a Christian organization. She contacted him. He got a copy of my book. We did an interview and we become close after that and then I came back and did a a program with him. And then I've been in contact with him in the last month now that I'm recovered from this new hip replacement. I'm ready to go public again. So we're working on a Walking with Jesus podcast for July 1. And this will be a podcast based on Walking with Jesus based on what he said, not what is said about him. So there'd be no religiosity in there. And there'll be no quote biblical concepts from Paul so to speak. If you know what Jesus said let's stick with that. And it will just secure the promises of what he said by our obedience to what he said. That's sufficient right there. So yeah I'm just excited about doing that. And I'm excited to go back home because I haven't been that home in the grill for almost a year. And I'm a retired resident Jamaican resident. So my passport is stamped to be there from now on. But I can't I have to be back because you can't stay away for more than a year and then not reapply. But I've been going back every year for 10 years. So it's a big part of my life now. I don't really do anything in America per se. I do missionary work down there in the schools and with the people. And then I do online co-coaching based on my book and we got a new website and all that. So I'm about to come back out of this 20 months of job like testing with a brand new hip. I feel 20 years younger. I feel like the Lord gave me another 100,000 miles on my walking and I'm going to start walking again. So it's a nice place to be at this moment of my life. Yeah. Two things. First the

TERRY CHRISTIAN:   got it. How many times have you heard that? I've never heard that before but I'm sure that I'll
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   be repeating it again. And you know what? I forgot the other thing. Well, but I'm glad with what you're saying about going forward with the podcast. That's great. I've known pastor Robert for a while. He's written the forward to my Christitutionalist politics. Two book that by the time this airs will likely have dropped also by the time this airs your show will likely be on so obviously will want people to check that out. But what for those looking behind the scenes video, you can see me Russia Limbaugh style shaking the paper. What really attracted me to you and wanting to talk to you was indeed the book. What did Jesus say? The seven messages from the master. Now obviously, I don't want you to give away. I'm not here to try to drag all seven out of you. We want people to buy your book. But can you share with us one is a keys to why they should buy the book?
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   Okay, well, first of all, you know, I'm going to make sure before I leave and respect and appreciation for your allowing me this interview, when I give your audience the free code to download the ebook and audiobook from our Shopify website. So let me just give you a thumbnail. They're calling this a one of a kind book because it contains over 500 scriptures spoken only by Jesus to those he loved and followed him. I've just composed his words into seven messages. It has survived every biblical scholar personality to look at it. It's in proper context. And that's what grabs the most. Okay, if the Holy Spirit's helping you do it, it's always be in order. So this has 500 scriptures, 170 pages full color ain't large, easy to read, but the seven messages. Now at the bottom of each page, I show you in the four gospels where I got the message from. So imagine you're walking down the beach and that's how it's set up. You're at the beach waiting on Jesus to appear and teach you. There's a group of people there. All of a sudden Jesus appears and he teaches us and we go for a walk with him for the day. And he brings this message one called the Christ. And he talks about he came from heaven and he'll return to heaven. And everything Jesus said about the Christ is in this message in out of the four gospels put into the message one. And then when he's done, he turns around and talks to us and we follow him again and we go to message two called the Father and Son. Everything Jesus said in the four gospels about the Father and Son, you'll find nicely composed in this message. Now I have added no comments, no opinions. So when you read the message, you're not hearing Terry, you're not hearing any opinions, you're just reading the pure words spoken by Jesus, representing what his father told him to say just like we learn in the book. And that's why it has such an impact. And then you go from the Christ to the Father to message three is the Word. So when Jesus speaks about his Word, his spirit and life into a bite in his words and he gives us the sower in the Reaper story, it's all in message three. So now that's one, two and three that this is our fast reads. Now this is like the whole audiobook is only an hour. So when you get to message four, now we got you. It's called I Am the Way and the Truth and the Life and used there are over 40 lessons taught by Jesus in this isolated message for. Now here's where we grab the audience. We believe W.D.J.S. What did Jesus say? Finally answers W.W.J.D. What would Jesus do? If you want to know what would Jesus do, you must find out what did Jesus say that he was congruent and he would do what he said. So when we talked about love, light, truth, forgiveness, prayer, marriage, divorce, adultery, no hate, we 40 different subjects in this one message for it's the longest one. It's like 20 minutes long and the rest of them are like five to seven minutes each. But this message for grabs you because if Jesus said it, that settles it. We don't need reinforcement. We don't need to feel sorry for ourselves. We're either in it or we're out of it. And if we're out of it, we don't feel like we're in it. But when you're walking with them, you know you're with them. So message four is important. And now we get serious. Message five is called the kingdom of heaven. And you find out right away, Jesus said, not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord gets into heaven and that gate is in the path and narrow. Well, so many religious opinions have widened the gate so far. We can't recognize obedience and discipline in Christians anymore. So that is an important message. And now we get to the message six called the end times. Well, there's some serious parts about the end times. There's a big there's a big debate about the tribulation and the rapture. Okay, well, here's what Jesus says. He's going to come and remove all the evil. He didn't say, all the goods are going to come out and then we're going to fight. He said, no, we're going to remove all of the evil and the tears and remove them. And then those of us that are left, we're celebrating. So that's going to be a great awakening for some people who are waiting for that because they're going to be in the wrong line. And so then message six. I mean, fifth heaven is, seven is called the Holy Spirit. And that's when you end, you start to end the book about the reverence of the Holy Spirit that is sent here to guide us based on what Jesus said. And do you remind us what he said? Now, when the book is all done, Jesus does his last prayer. And it's the entirety of John 17. And when you read John 17, you'll know Jesus didn't pray for the world. He prayed for those that would hear what his apostle said that we would believe in him through their words. So therefore his apostles were given the information. So why are we creating a religion about Jesus instead of obedience to Jesus? And so the rest of my life is devoted to positively reveal that between the Catholics and the Protestants and the Orthodox, they all are divided against each other using the same Bible. Now wrap your mind around that one. Okay. And then you get into the Protestants and they're divided against each other. There's some 30,000 plus groups around the world and they're holding the same Bible. Maybe that's why apostle Peter said, be aware of those who misunderstand Paul's words and twist them around and destroy their own lives. Maybe that's a little bit of insight, but there was no instructions to follow this man's words and create a religion about Jesus. So that's what I'm about, helping Christians restore to what Jesus said. That's what it's about. I am so with you there,
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   that's what this show is all about. You use the word first, because I made notes, I won't forget those, but let me not forget to make this point on the division. That is Satan. It is Satan trying to divide us and pit us against each other and make us question everything and understand nothing. So that aside, you use the word context. I use that word all the time on the show. The Bible, the whole Bible in context, so many of this world today, including, and yes, I'm going to say make Christians will take this, that another twisted distorted out of context of the whole Bible. And no doubt, you've probably said this to like so many. Matthew seven is the most twisted and distorted passage in the entire Bible. It really is condemned, not lusty be condemned. And there are more than just the first seven words to that. And a dozen other scriptures that indeed tell us to judge biblically, remove the log from our own eye, judge ourselves and others on the same set of biblical standards, not double standards like most want to do today. I judge you on one set of standards, but hey, right rules for the, but not for me. So yeah, I go on and on and on about that all the time. So I'm right there with you. And the other thing is you mentioned the rapture. I'm so glad you brought that up. Because again, it goes back to divisions. I had a whole episode, a Christmas special last Christmas, Pastor Jeff Jones on with me that I know locally. And I didn't expect that rapture rabbit hole, but we went there. And my hope, well, we did, and I urge people to check out that episode because they did a Halloween thing kind of on the lines of, you know, dantes and fernole, that's right. So they could visit in the woods, the different sins. And it was a very intelligent new way in my mind to kind of reach some younger people who wouldn't otherwise be reached, but they were going to do something for Christmas similar. And rapture came up, which really has only become more and more of a thing this last century or the century before even in then Jellicles, more up on rapture in that. And I say, I don't know. And I don't worry about it. Why are we worried about something? We have hero control over. And a lot of people in my mind, I'm sorry if you know, because this might get someone the audience upset. It's that hubris again. It's like, I'm going to be rapture. It's all about them. And, oh, you know, you plebs will be here, but I'm great. I'm wonderful. You got it. You hit it. I'm so pure and holy. That's why they're hung up on the rapture. It's their hubris. If it happens or not, worry about it when it happens or not. Nothing we could do about it. So you are so right. That is one of those things that Satan uses to divide us and argue amongst each other. You would think those who believe there's going to be a
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   rapture, you would think they'd be more interested on the example and obedience they lived in. Okay, because that would enhance the odds. They're raptured. Okay, but most of them live in the sin. They believe they're actively forgiven on. And unfortunately, they're pulling this out of, the Bible, but they're pulling it out of Paul's epistle. And until you understand Paul with humble, you know, you just can't, I have a different attitude about Paul, because I wanted to know why are we so divided against each other? And why does Paul get so much attention? And then I saw how the Protestants had manipulated what he said and easy enough. Now they're divided by opinions of what he said. But because of what they believe Paul's about, they no longer give relevance to what Jesus said whatsoever. And they're trying to undermine by saying Jesus spoke to the Jews only and Paul came for the Gentiles as if the job with Jesus wasn't done when he got through with the cross and the resurrection. Okay. And so until you understand how the Bible was put together, not the Bible, the New Testament was put together. We borrowed the old, okay, from somebody else that we don't even respect on the most part. So we borrowed their Bible to give our credibility. Now, once you understand how Constantine and the Roman Catholic Church come together on all this, it's called an eye opening awakening experience. But the Protestants do not want you to ever get into this one because as soon as you do, they lose, they lose their footing right then and there.
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   So we use what I don't want to delve too much more in the divisions. I want us to get in this to focus on those things that can bring us together. Jesus is actual words to things. Indeed, we should focus on whatever you got, whatever our denomination, I myself born and raised a Catholic. The show is not about Catholicism. It's about Christianity as a whole and focusing on Christ. I myself call Francis the nincompope, like nincompoop, the nincompop because frankly, I think he's more interested in communism than Catholicism most of the time.
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   There's a very thin line between the Pope's self-indoor's power. He could speak for God on earth saying this respectfully now, versus Paul who claimed that he received his gospel privately, but no witnesses. He has special knowledge and revelation above everybody else and then shows no lover respect for the Lord's apostles. Now to me, that breaks itself down into the same kind of group divisions we have when they're using the same Bible. I have to talk a little bit about just one division here and then I'm going to say something that Jesus said and see if we can't wrap it all up. When you sit down with a Baptist and a Pentecostal and a seven-day advantage, you get a really good insight on the divisions among themselves over the Bible. I mean, it's a serious, serious debate and so they compromised themselves and backed by each other pretty much like they got the message from Paul in Galatians when he outed Apostle Peter. Have we not realized you don't talk behind the back of your brother in the spirit? Okay, are we missing that? So now here's what Jesus said and it's the opening of this book of mine. Jesus says, now watch these words, Matthew 11 28 to 30 and I like Matthew and John because they were disciples who became apostles and they were witnesses. So they just provide an extra, here's how it really happened, I was there, thank you very much. And Matthew Jesus says, come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest, all of them, come to me. Then he says, take my yoke upon you and learn from me. He learned about me. He said, learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. If we haven't captured that, we're not learning from Jesus, we're spending so much time learning about Jesus that we don't have a relationship with him so there's no obedience in our life because we're forgiven. So we think we're ongoingly forgiven when the disobedient will eventually run out of the patience of God. So when Jesus says, not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord gets into heaven, but and he gets into that Matthew 7 21 to 27, you've got to have a disclaimer there and religion gives us a disclaimer, but that's what Jesus said and that's how it's going to be. And that's how I believe we're at.
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   That's the things we need to focus on. Jesus is actual words, but oh, I wanted to say about, like you said, well, we kind of borrowed. Well, actually, we're not Christians. We are messianic Jews. We are all Jews. Jesus didn't come, but Jesus didn't come to found a new faith apart. He came to fulfill the Torah. The whole point of whites there is that he fulfilled those scriptures. That's how we know he is the Christ and to accept him. Yeah, because there are some sets me to know when that's like you quote something from the Old Testament and they'll look at you like, well, that's the Old Testament. Like it's not relevant anymore. Are the 10 commandments not relevant anymore to you? They all relate. He came to fulfill the Torah, not supplant or replace it. He added additional clarity for our times. And yes, he was the final blood sacrifice. So indeed, we don't sacrifice animals like we used to back then. So yeah, in that sense, he replaces that. But that's just the one thing again, because he was the final blood sacrifice. And a lot of people, unfortunately, in all this anti-Semitic fervor that's been around forever forever and ever and ever since the beginning of time that they allow themselves to get caught up and forget Jesus, the King of the Jews. We are all messianic Jews. And again, hopefully,
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   nobody's tuned out. I promise you that that's a nerve thing to say. But I have to congratulate you. Because when I met Pastor Bob, it was two days after I had an interview with a messianic Rabbi Jew, who interviewed my book. And he said, I usually don't interview a book that's already been published. He said, but I get a thousand books a year. I do 700 interviews a year. And I've never ever seen a book like yours. And then he brought me in on the interview. And he said, how the seven messages clearly reveal that Jesus is the Messiah without a question. Now, then in the same interview, he says to me live, like we're saying, he said, I don't know what it is about the Protestants because they're confused and lost. And I didn't have anything to say because I've heard that the Protestants say it about the Catholics and the Catholics say it about the proper Protestants and the Orthodox says they're both lost. They're the original church. So this guy was coming at the angle you're speaking about. So now I get a book review from him, which is blessed. And I'm so touched by it. Two days later, I do an interview with Evangelical Pastor Bob. He reads my book and we have the most loving, beautiful conversation about how pure the book is because I have no prejudicial opinions. What Jesus said is sufficient. And so here I was in the same week with two totally different perspectives. And that was God letting me know that this is the book of unity because I'm not in it. It's the book of unity for everyone. And then I do another interview with the Indy radio station with a doctor of some religion. I mean, Christian religion, but she was, I don't quite know how to explain it, but I'll just go to what she said. After I read your book, she said, it's obvious God was the author of your book. You were just his pen. And so therefore that let me know that what I was told at 23, I was able to do in my 50s. And that was produced a book without having any opinions in it and have it be where you could read this book and know what Jesus said in the Holy Spirit will take you from now on. And you'll never think about me at all. That's the purity of the book. And that's the impact I'm having in Jamaica because in Jamaica, they allow you to pray before school starts. So I teach in the schools, but every day never start a class in school there without saying a prayer to the Lord. And that's what gives me my edge there. So to me, I think we all need to return to what Jesus said. And those who do will treat one another with the same love and respect. But I'll treat those that are against me with love and respect because that's what you do if you're
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   a disciple of Jesus. What we're commanded to do love, it doesn't mean we can always tolerate somebody, but we have to love them. They are still a creature of God. But amen to what you're saying. And again, I hope no one's tuned out. If you're born and raised catholic like me, if you've got upset, you don't understand the point of this show and what Terri just said. Protestant Baptist Lutheran, my grandfather was Lutheran. He became Catholic to marry my grandmother Elizabeth. Therefore our lineage then after that was Catholic. Jesus said, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. Does that not represent us in some metaphor that the body of Christ, the brothers, the we're all on the same vine, we're in the same flock. So no matter what flock we came from, we're now in the same flock. And if we're in the same flock on the same vine, then doesn't that mean we are to be in unity with one another? See, and that's what I am called to confront because when you read the New Testament properly, you'll see the division and you'll see why we must get past the concept of how the New Testament is put together. We got to give Jesus his due. We got to give Apostle Peter and John their due. Their epistles were for everybody all spoke to isolated groups. And he gave them what they needed. And he was struggling and he was troubled. And I have respect and love for him. But I don't follow him. I just can't. Jesus didn't structure it that way. And so when you understand the four gospels were written after Peter in Paul died, then you start to understand a rich concept of how it was put together. And to me, that's an important part. And Apostle John is the man we want to learn from. That's all I can say. Not only did Jesus trust him with his mother, but they couldn't martyr him. He lived

And we need to come together and focus on those things that bring us together, not that separated us. I used to be a member of the Knights of Columbus. I left the organization because one of their rules was you don't speak out against the Pope. Well, I'm sorry. The Pope is not Christ. The Pope is another man. And no man is perfect. No man is above criticism on occasion.
TERRY CHRISTIAN:   Right. Right. And once you get into that mindset, keep in mind, you and I live in a world where those before us were brainwashed. So I mean, you know, they believe what they were told. They never questioned their like religious parents. They're repeating what they heard, but they don't understand what they're saying. And it doesn't matter because they have such great conviction. And they're confusing sincerity with truth. They don't understand truth and sincerity rarely go together. You can be sincerely wrong and miss everything because you don't want to look at the truth that frees you from everything. Now, that's how I was really troubled by why are we so divided? When I did this book, I was too innocent to do the book turned out to be perfect in its own right, which means mature because I was too innocent. I put it together. It took me 10 years to understand how pure it was. And it is. And now I know why I'm so dead set against the divisions because the lost are troubled. They're seeing the Christians divided and they're all holding the same Bible. And they're saying different things. Okay. And how could you do that? So if we don't further, we get away from what Jesus said, the more opinionated we get about what

So I understand the mesmerization of music and repeated words that we get in church. And it makes you feel good. But if you're not different, when you get home, then it then it only works like a hot shower, but you're still playing in the mud at home. And this is an important aspect about being what you say you are. And without a core foundation, how can we say that we're a Christian and we're following Jesus when we don't obey what he says. And because we're told we don't have to, who said that? Okay. And that's the big lie. That's the big lie.
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST):   You shall be known by your fruits is also a thing. You can't just talk. You have to do. You have to act. You have to reap to sow or not be surprised. We're all eating rotten fruit because you allowed others to sow bad. And it sounds like you're saying without saying it, what I say about my books. They're not from me or of me. They are through me. TERRY CHRISTIAN:   Well, that's how we're when you know what Jesus said, we're supposed to live based on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So things come through us not from us. That's why we can gain so much in it. But if you're in a world of Christianity where they actually look down on works, good works, and they make it look like you don't need to do anything whatsoever, you can sit on your couch of discontent. And then God would just send that lead magazine for you to bring you to the dinner in the sky. And that's the big lie. Okay. And so we got to get back to what to Jesus say. Well, first Jesus says, I'm the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but add the light of life. That's a statement. You got to follow him. Okay. While you have the light, believe in the light, you become sons of life. That means we're becoming like him, believing in him, meaning we're obeying him, we're learning from him, we're taught by him. And then he says, but also doing like him. Well, just then he goes on to say, you are the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Let your light so shine before men, they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven. Now, that's what you get out of this book. See, right? So I talk about what did Jesus say about love, light and truth. He said, those that walk in the truth, stay in the light, and they love the truth. Those that are in the light are representing him. And those that are due to love, that's the 10 commandments. And if you love God and you love your neighbor as yourself, you will fulfill the 10 commandments naturally. So therefore, the only one that we have to debate is the Sabbath day. And you don't want to pay tribute on the Sabbath that you're getting me. We're a commercialized society. That's why Sunday was voted in for that day. Any knowledge will tell you in the pope voted in the day. The pope says, I got the right to do this. That's where it started from. Of course, of course,

And most people don't recognize, really, the traditional work week Monday through Friday.
