Hoping everyone will have a happy Thanksgiving
as well as moving into the month of December, of course, happy Hanukkah, very Christmas.
And it won't be long. Happy New Year. Hello everybody, welcome to season two, episode 76.
I have the very, very old now, just bullet points on there of what I was putting in
the zlibertybeacon.com correlating corresponding piece for this show. Government regulations and
automobiles, of course, it's not just about automobiles. Doge, Department of Government
efficiency, we need a whole separate doge just to delve into the countless thousands and thousands
ages of regulations alone that need to be lined out and done away with. But I wanted to, since
I'm based here in Detroit, mainly focus on the auto regulations and what
brought this about was I was at an eatery a while back. I have a Pontiac vibe. I happen to pull
in next to somebody else who had a red Pontiac vibe, different year, and we struck up a conversation
and cost vehicles came up, right? I've got a 2009 silver Pontiac vibe GT,
not because I bought it because my Grand Am years ago fell apart, couldn't stay on the road anymore,
and thankfully some cousins had the vibe in their backyard sitting collecting dust,
and they gifted it to me because I sure had wouldn't have been able to afford to buy another car.
Yeah, the engine needed a little work, but that money put in was way, way, way less,
and the maintenance keeping it on the road. Now way, way, way less than had I had to try to buy a
used car then. And why do you use cars cost so much now? Well, we got to go back to Obama
and cash for clunkers idiocy. The cash for clunkers concept was let's get some of these old gas
guzzlers and beaters and whole massive polluters off the road. But that's of course not what
entirely happens. In the law, it was required in order to get the cash for clunkers credit that
car dealers were happy to help people get to get them into a new car. The trade-in had to go to the
junkyard and be crushed. It couldn't even go to the junkyard and be used for parts. No,
it had to be crushed. And there were a lot of vehicles. Yeah, okay, maybe shouldn't have been
on the road anymore and needed to be crushed. But there were a lot of cars that were fixer-upper
enough of all. Boy, there's a word that doesn't exist in reality, but I'm sure you follow.
That dealers could have put a few hundred maybe a thousand dollars into and resold it on the
use car resale market. But no, all those cars were crushed, meaning there would be a supply shortage
of used vehicles driving up the cost 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 percent on use cars. And no, it's not a
mistake. It's the leftist design. They want to force those four people they pretend to care so
much about, right, the 15-minute city think they don't want us able to own our own car and have
freedom and mobility. They want to force as many people out of the automobile market entirely.
That's part of the ride behind the aesthetically expensive EVs. It's not just the climate,
alarmism, scam and con and money laundering redistribution to their friends and family and
donors and them getting campaign kickbacks. No, it's about pricing more and more and more people
out of the market of automobiles entirely pushing more people onto public transit,
them having control over them, localizing you, forcing you in the 15-minute city concept that
you don't have a car to be able to drive from Detroit to Lansing or Detroit to Traverse City
or Detroit down to Tulee Do as we call Tulee Do, Tulee Do, Ohio. They don't want you having that kind
of freedom. We're dealing with the holidays now, right? Take a bus to grandma's. Excuse me?
Pardon me? This is part of the American dream and the American way of life and that's why the
left want it destroyed. So of course, again, what I'm saying here now is an inza government
regulations and automobiles, zlibertybeacon.com corresponding correlating peace. And of course,
again, as always, there will be things in the article that are not here like video embeds
a eevee special part one and two, John Stassel. You may remember him from long ago on Fox. He's
out on his own. Well, no, libertarian and actual libertarian, not like today's
libertarian. And he's got a special on the on the eevees, the myths shattering the lies
that the left keeps trying to tell about them, including, of course,
endless fires and the need for special vehicles to be able to go with foam to put them out.
You can't put water on the lithium ion, battery chemical fires. It only makes the flames worse.
You need the foam trucks and not everywhere's got the foam trucks. And of course, if you've got an
eevee, if you don't time it, right? You can only go so far because the refueling, the repowering
stations, enough everywhere. And who wants to go somewhere, travel 150 miles and then have to sit
for four hours to wait for your car to recharge. So you can then drive another 150 miles and then
wait another four hours for your car to charge. So you can and then on and so on and so on and so
forth. But at any rate, yeah, the cash for clonkers is just one of the more recent and the endless
amount of leftist stupidity of government regulations. And they know better than you. They claim to be
about choice. Choice, of course, only being a dodge when it comes to murdering babies. School
choice? No, light bulb choice? No, food choice? No, where you can live? No, they want to limit you
on that too. How far you can go anywhere? No, no choice. The kind of car you could get if you
can afford one at all? No, they want to eliminate all gas powered vehicles. The idiocy just never
enters all about Tommy Fessy, Showshizo, craps, power and control, trying to in a communist society,
manage all aspect of other people's lives, eliminating all of our freedoms. I'm just going to check
but oh, yeah, someone's first new car insurance issues. Okay, well, in the regulations,
an automobile piece, I put forth the solution that we create a special car out or GM and Ford,
not Chrysler because Chrysler's now an Italian company owned and operated. And when they were
seaburs, they were French. I think it was right. Was it French then or was it Italian then in
French now? Whatever. They're not an American company anymore. So American companies with American
workers should get a break and exemption, a special carve out that will allow them to go
around all these regulations like insurance costs on a new car or way up because of all the stuff
regulated in them. A person who first gets a new car, yes, their risk, actuary table rates are
going to be higher than others. But Mike, point here is if we get the cost of a simple entry level
car down, remember the Chevy Chabet, right? Let's give people an exemption for and GM to create a car
without all the airbags. You know, the seatbelt like we survived with fervor,
but now there are 50 airbags regulated into your car, causing your causing, causing the cost of
your car to be two, three, five, seven thousand dollars more than it should. So a first time buyer
or someone who's poor who can't afford a $30,000 vehicle let alone a 50 or $75,000 EV, let's let them
have a waiver. And if you want to buy one of these, you sign a waiver, a testing, yes, I understand
I'm buying a car without airbags in it. So I can have a $15,000 car that I can actually afford to
put on the road and eliminate all the electric stuff. How about we get back to some mechanical
stuff like, you know, the windows that you actually roll up and roll down and door locks that you
actually have to lift or push down on your own. How about eliminating the ABS, making that an
option. Remember when all these things first older folks these used to be optional equipment.
And if you wanted it and could afford it, you had them put it in it because you could afford it.
And you asked for it and you paid for it separately. Let's create that carve out so people can have
some low cost vehicles. Again, sign a waiver and sign an insurance waiver too. Yes, I know this car
is less safe in protecting me in an accident than a vehicle that has 50 airbags. Okay, I
understand that risk. I'm signing the waiver. I'm accepting that. It's the only way I can afford a car.
Freedom of choice. But the government and the nanny state wanting to be everyone's protector,
protecting them from themselves and in the process, eliminating all our choices. Okay, at any rate,
I think I've covered enough in the show. This is going to air November 30. So hope you had a very
nice Thanksgiving. I think I'll probably put these Thanksgiving and holidays.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Yes, happy holidays. Because again, I'm Christian, not a jerk. I
realize Christian sin of hubris. It's not me, me, me, my, my, my, all about me all the time.

da, da, da, da, pardon me. If I'm in that place where I know I'm surrounded by nothing but fellow
Christians, yeah, I'm going to say Merry Christmas. But if I'm out in general public with all kinds of
other people, seculars, atheists, Jewish people, Hindus, Buddhists, whatever, whatever, whatever,
I'm going to say happy holidays because it's actually the Christian thing to do to acknowledge
hubris free. It's not all about me, me, me, me, me. It's about us. Okay. Anyway,
this is another one of those things I could go on for hours. I've outlined so many points. And indeed,

First, sure hoping you had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Next, gotta say (as Quoted in my CTP2 book Quotations chapter and a #JoeOriginal): “The Left doesn’t know, and they don’t want to know, cuz they do know ‘just enough’ that if they really knew, their delusional bubble would burst!” Yep, relates to their idiocy on EV’s and the inconvenient Facts about the Slave Labor, dirty air, and other things, they will never, ever, admit THEY SUPPORT (show Leftist this piece, or at least the Videos embedded on “Inconvenient Facts” (parts 1 and 2) down-thread).

I was at an Eatery the other day and having to wait in the Lobby to be seated. Also waiting was another Person whom we just happened to pull up in the Parking Lot about same time, both us Parking the Pontiac Vibe vehicles we own (his a 2003, mine a 2009) side-by-side in the Lot, so we struck up a Conversation about Cars and unaffordability (of fresh off the line Cars) these days.
And, yes, I am usually long-winded, this one I am going to just more or less provide some bullet-points as food-for-thought and let you have at it more in your own Mind.

1. The Cost of Vehicles (and not even the ridiculous EV’s) has gotten out of control. Most of that Cost is due to Government Mandates/Regulations. You know, the Reverse-Darwinism (yet, Left supposedly LOVES Darwin – but ignore “Survival of the Fittest” concept): protect the Stupid from themselves. And it is also by design as Left who claim care so much about the Poor want them all on Public-Transit and unable to leave their 15 minute Cities Left/NWO/WEF Utopia nightmare… err… “dream” … if you believe them.

2. Cash for Clunkers! Idiot #obaMAO and that farce – which then by Law/Regulation those Cars traded-in for the Credit were required to be Crushed. Yes, of course, the point was to get old, worn, potentially dangerous, vehicles off the roads. However, and of course, the idiocy of Left never, ever, thinking anything through and UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES (many good cars, could have had some minor touch-ups and/or repairs, could have been turned-around for Re-Sale) which took many Used-Car (Market folks) out the Market as (Supply and Demand) less Supply caused those Prices too also to soar.

3. Regulations! Already touched-on; will harp on again (and just one item in the #WeThePeopleDemandList (aka: #WTPDL) parts 1 and 2 TLB pieces dropping in December 2024). Government forcing certain “protections” to “protect” the Stupid from themselves – and as result more people are actually now more reckless out on the roads making matters even worse. Like I was on Criminal Justice Corner and discussed Tyreek Hill’s Speeding idiocy, Reese Witherspoon’s DUI, as well as Justin Timberlake’s DUI, and how people may not grasp they all relate.

4. Ford/GM, Chrysler now not really a US Automaker, exemption for “Special Car” concept. In-my-opinion not only do we need relax many Regulations overall and permanently, but…. How about this idea. How about for Ford/GM (again, our only REAL Automakers owned/operated fully by USA Incorporated entities (Chrysler became Italian with Fiat and now with whatever they’re called – French run, European wants/needs/desires centric)) we create a one-time, Special carve-out, to relax for them to create, build, sell, a Vehicle (one per Subsidiary), that people (Poor people especially, you know The Leftards pretend Care about, but really want them Priced out and forced onto Public Transportation) can afford!! 

Remember, it was not all that long ago many things were “optional” (you wanted them, no problem, you PAY EXTRA for them, not increase cost of all Cars by 10-20-30-40 percent). Drop Air-Bag requirements, drop ABS related over-complication (for anyone actually knows how to drive), and other items. This would allow them to Manufacture a FAR LESS EXPENSIVE and more affordable Vehicle. And, OK, make those Buying them Sign a Fed. Govt. exemption from protections waiver! You know you’re not getting these things; you understand and agree to Waiving of the normal Regulations otherwise would apply! SIMPLE! COMMON-SENSE! But Left cannot deal in Common-Sense nor do they want Poor People driving around in their own Vehicles!!
OBVIOUSLY, we are not talking letting them make the Frame out of Legos or some such silliness – but, of course, The Left would SCREAM about any relaxation of anything in Vehicles now that not long ago (as already said) were strictly OPTIONAL. That is ALL we’re talking about here!

5. Now, has to be said, some of those “savings” will be offset by increased Insurance Costs. Someone’s first new Car, Insurance usually are going to Charge a bit more cuz, obviously, duh, Repairs and Replacement Costs are Higher than with Used-Cars. Also, I owned a DeLorean (sure cannot afford a side-car now, cannot barely afford keep my paid-off 09 Vibe on the road and with Price of Gas still up-too-high I use UPSIDE APP to save every penny I can), I know all about scarcity concerns for more limited-run Vehicles, especially as that Fleet grows smaller and smaller but more importantly the Supply-Parts-Chain diminishes. And, of course, any NEW Model-line does not yet have ACTUARY-TABLE data about short and long term Life of Vehicle, Safety-Record, that takes time to them build-in and calculate so Costs higher at first (and then, if they become a Theft magnet, well…. obviously…. factors too...)! And, of course, clearly issue without Air-Bags potential injuries/deaths increases (so maybe too an Insurance Waiver needed to, limited/lessor Personal-Injury and/or Lawsuit coverages).

6. Bottom-line, overall, this could EASE a lot of Economic concerns, especially after runaway #BIDENflation caused by #BiDUMB, The #KAMALunist, #SandTards, et al, #COMMUnomics and #InflationProductionAct (Green New Deal Money-Laundering to their Families, Friends, and Donors, AGAIN, not about what Title claimed (and, same with fake “Infrastructure” Bill was same, leaving our real Infrastructure issues still a problem (especially the Help need be worked to assure our Power-Grid is hardened and the like))). [NOTE: FYI: Just as I started this Rough-Draft 4th week of Oct for dropping in Nov – we then had a Citywide Power outage here in Wyandotte MI. Thankfully what I thought would be an all-day thing, was restored (at least for my part of town) in 1.5 hours. Thank You Wyandotte Municipal Service for your quick work. Still wondering WTF however?!?! Mention, of course, makes my point about Infrastructure concerns!!!!]

I have not seen the body concept and/or expected Electric-Vehicle-range, but their coming Pickup and SUV will have unique Gas-Powered-Generator build-in (so, no, not a Hybrid) that can/will allow Gas-powered extended range or Charging. SCOUT is “technically” a subsidiary of VW, but is operated and Vehicles produced (semi-autonomous, yes obvious pun intended, Sub-Company) in United States!
