[ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast begin Show intro]
Welcome to ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast aka CTP in association with TheLibertyBeacon.com and I am your host Joseph M Lenard and that's L E N A R D CTP is your no muss no fuss just me you And occasional guest type podcast as Graham Norton would say let's get on with the show
[ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast - Segment 1]
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Hello everyone, a brief special intro to this week's show. You know Saturdays I normally have on monologues that are in conjunction with a written article at thelibertybeacon.com. Well, we're working through some issues. So, today's show, as well as an occasional other Saturday show here and there, may not be a monologue in conjunction with thelibertybeacon.com. As I work to sync and coordinate juggle before it's news.com, thelibertybeacon.com, as well as now introducing a sub-stack as an outlet for my articles. Needing to try to coordinate and sync them all together and some Saturdays that may or may not happen. So, instead, like today, you're going to get what would normally be a Wednesday guest appearance drop. So, just a brief intro to let you know what's going on. Today is not a monologue. Today is a guest appearance. And as I say in the opening, Graham Norton used to say, he doesn't say it anymore. He used to say, let's get on with the show! What he says now, let's get a guest on! He says, let's get some guests on because that's why I love his show. He has a couch and has like four guests out at once and it's a roundtable kind of discussion. Me, sometimes I might have two people on it once, like I did. The Vegas Faith Engagement Forum. Once in a while, I might have two or three guests appear at once, but generally it's just one. Okay, I've rambled enough. Let's get to the show! Hello, everyone. Welcome to Season 2, Episode 86. This is going to be slightly different from my normal Saturday monologue shows. Last week I dealt with Flashback 2024, Preview 2025, Part 1 at Substack. And before it's news, there will be Flashback 2024 Epilogue, slash 2025 Prolog, Part 2. I'm trying to hold that up to the camera for the behind the scenes to be able to see, and it's not cooperating very well. But today, this brief intro to again say, last week, Flashback, Part 1 is the Flashback episode you're getting Season 2, Episode 85. Today, Season 2, Episode 86 would have been Part 2, but I'm going to pivot. And instead, have you go to Substack and before it's news, to look at the Part 2 write-up continuation from last week. Today, February, I'm going to look down at my calendar, will be February 8th, Saturday when this releases. I'm going to hand you over to a guest appearance that I had with Roger Landry, who is a boomer, and Hook, who is a Zoomer. Hence, together they have a Zoomer to Boomer show. And I think that is so great why I had to have them on together. So rather than drop this in the middle of the week, the importance of all the generations communicating, being the point and purpose of that show, I feel it worthy of a regular Saturday show, but not a monologue necessarily from me. So thank you all. Oh, one other thing. Yes, the Hook and Roger thing, Zoomers to Boomers. Plus, please stay tuned after that for a message on eggs. Yeah, before it's news in Substack already, last week, I dropped pieces about the price of eggs are about to double. I did a video exclusive. So I'm going to wedge that in as a, this will be segment one. The interview will be segment two, the price of eggs doubling. Why? And why you've not heard it on the news at all. You're hearing it from me most likely first will be the third segment. Then of course, the show out when all that stuff. Hello, everybody. In part, I am saying this in the opening as guest shows. Usually I have one guest. Well, today I have two. I have Roger, who is a kind of old guy, you know, like me. And I have who is known as Puck, who is a young lady. And the reason why I'm having them on together. So, you know, since we know actual biology and what a woman is, I'm sure you'll be able to figure out whose voice is known. Unlike maybe the show I did with Dr. Rob Steele and Drew McKissick about the face engagement. Drew McKissick being the former vice chair of the RNC. We had three guys talking and might have got a little more difficult today. Hey, thankfully we got a female voice in here today. So, should be pretty easy for you all to follow. And indeed, let me go right into it. As Puck Y O O together, they do a show, Zoomers to Boomers, which is why I think you're such a fantastic concept to have different generations on the same show kind of talking different perspective. So, I felt they had to come on here. So, now with that set up, Puck, I'm a former hockey player. Plus, I used to love Don Rickles, who used to call everybody a hockey puck. I'm dying, of course, to know where Puck's name comes from.
PUCK: So, I was like a toddler. But like, basically, you know, I like the old Apple computers look like. And they have like these mouses that look like hockey pucks. Yeah. Basically, as a kid, I believe the hockey puck was getting all the attention. So, I went up to my pauper and I was like, I'm the Puck. Yeah. I wanted the Puck's attention, you know. I didn't like that the Puck was getting the attention, so I wanted to be the Puck. Yes, that's the attention.
ROGER: Oh, that is a great story. That is priceless. And the thing of it is, I could have told my own story about that, but it doesn't work unless she tells it.
PUCK: Yes, exactly. Okay.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): So, up to you, Roger, did you come this young lady into spending 30 minutes or so a week with you on a show?
ROGER: Well, to start off with, the rumors, isn't the first show we did? The first show her and I did was called Giving Our Children a Voice, which meant that that was at least a couple of years ago when Carrie and I started doing Giving Our Children a Voice.
PUCK: I was 15 years old then, so I'm 17.
ROGER: What we're looking at here is somebody who had already agreed to step on the stage, and yes, I'm talking verbally, step on the stage with a boomer. Now, she's just about to turn 18. I'm just about to turn 70. So, we are the quintessential Zoomer to Boomer's situation, but that's not how we started. We started because I felt that far too many of our children weren't getting a voice, and I said the word children again. Carrie was 15 years old and agreed that if we could give her a voice, she would gladly be a part of this and help to give her generation a voice. Three years later, all of a sudden, Carrie comes up to me and says, you know something, Roger, remember she's my partner in this show. She says, you know something, Roger? She says, and this was just a couple of days ago, she says we do a lot of talking about politics. Why can't we do more discussion about the actualities of Zoomers, about the actualities of bloomers, about what the benefit is of us communicating? Not so much about politics. This is a girl who's about to turn 18 years old. This is a young lady who demonstrates just intelligence far beyond, and she's blushing right now, but I don't say things that aren't true. This young lady actually has taken this to the next level. What Joe is doing and what several other people who have shows and have invited us on as guests are doing is helping us to announce the next level. Going forward, it's not going to be so much about politics. It's going to be more about the generational division between us and what we can do to make it go away. And a little bit later, I'll tell you a story about that, but let's let Puck put her sent back. Well, let me pass it back to you. You're the host.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Yeah, this is exactly why I wanted to meet her. And this time I am meeting her. You and I have talked plenty of times. You've been on the show before. But, you know, she, like others, I know young kids around here in my area in Michigan that I know give me hope. Give us a lot of hope that not all of these kids are complete morons. Unfortunately, a lot of them are. But you clearly show wisdom beyond your ears that you understand. There's a great big world out there that you haven't fully been involved in yet and want to understand before you go out so you don't stumble on your face. Yeah.
ROGER: All right, look, let me just poke that just a little bit further before she answers. Okay. No, I'm dead serious because what you're about to hear is true. Although most of you won't believe it. Okay. Who is Puck? All right. If Puck is walking by you and you're sitting in the corner and you have a dried up tear down your face, she's going to walk over to you. She's going to crouch down. Look you in the eyes. Put her hand on your knee and say, what can I do to make you smile? And she will not walk away until that guy or that lady is smiling. And when she gets up, she will look. She will give that individual one more smile, pat him on the knee and turn around and walk away. Puck. Tell everybody I'm not lying. Tell everybody this actually has happened before. For fun.
PUCK: I'm more of a hugger than a knee pattern. Okay.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Yeah, but also let me throw in here joking, of course. But I think she doesn't take after Roger. Ah, no. Wow. Just a fun loving job. But seriously. Yeah. Exactly. I mean, do you see the dichotomy between you and some others in your generation that don't know, no they don't know, don't want to know, just want to stumble through life?
PUCK: I'd also say some of them just are unsure. Yes.
ROGER: Very good. And they are. I got to, I got to ask your permission for this. I have a little story. It's not going to take 20 minutes. It'll take about two minutes. Do you mind if I interject it here, Joe? Because I think it's perfectly appropriate.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): I don't know if you can tell any story in under 20 minutes, but let's try.
ROGER: I, I, I, whoa, hold a minute. I said two minutes.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Oh, I had gone.
ROGER: Look, the first thing I need to do here is to explain to everybody who fuck is. Right. And everybody here needs to understand that this is a girl who hasn't had a perfect life. This is a girl who's had her sense of trauma, has had her sense of experiences, so on and so forth, coming through and coming up through life. The reason she spent a little bit more attention looking around her is because she's had a reason to look around her. She's more aware than most people her age, but at the same time, she's very compassionate about people, her age. Let me explain. This is the story. You're walking down the street and you're 70, 75, 80 years old. You and a couple of others your age and you see some kids sitting on the street corner on the curb looking at you and they're like in their late teens and they're looking at you and they're shaking their head and saying to each other, My God, I hope I never get to be that old. My God, I hope I never looked that old. And that's what they're saying. But if you go over and listen to what the bloomers are saying, what they're saying is, Oh, my God, are those kids disrespectful or what? We weren't that way when we were their age. So what you're seeing is a total separation between those two generations. What is the mission of bloomers to zoomers? Excuse me, zoomers, the bloomers. The mission is to make that go away. It's to institute a level of communication between the bloomers and zoomers that makes us friends and assets to each other going forward. Not enemies or somebody you just don't want to spend any time.
PUCK: I'm not going to laugh. I've definitely asked myself that question before. I would definitely ask myself, I told myself I could not imagine being of that age in the... I'm pretty sure, pretty sure. You said, you told me that at your age, you asked yourself that same question. And was doing the exact same thing.
ROGER: You guys were doing sitting on the curb when I talked. Yes, each generation has done that. We're trying to make it go away, you and I. Thank you for letting us get this in, Jim. Also, what that song about, I think it's Mike and the mechanics,
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): singing about someone who had passed in the living years about a line in there. Every generation, whatever, talking about that dichotomy that the old forget what it's like to be young and the young, unfortunately, just haven't lived enough life to get to understand what it's like to get older. Hopefully, she can think of something off the top of her head. I'm wondering, maybe, is there a favorite show you did together, what that topic might have been? Trump in the Crosshairs. What was that?
PUCK: Trump in the Crosshairs, it's actually a recent one.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Go ahead and expound on that show and why it's kind of your favorite right now.
PUCK: Basically, we talked about how Donald Trump got shot. Yeah. But that's pretty much the thing. But one thing I've definitely repeated multiple times in this show was how rude social media is.
ROGER: Not only are you right, but it goes beyond rude and you and I have discussed this in the past, it goes to flat out. These people are censoring far beyond what they want you to believe they are. And this is why TLB Talk is there. And this is why you know that, Joe, I know that, and even you know that, talk. It is a social media platform where you can go and say what needs to be said. It's not a corporate social media platform where you have to do things so they can make money. The point here is you're exactly right, Puck. And every time you open your mouth in this show, I'm beginning to realize you're even wiser than I thought you.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Yeah. I have a recent show. I don't remember exactly which one it was to give the title or the episode number. But in the show notes, I joke like we're talking about online. You know, oh, it was the TLB Re-launch episode and article. And at the end of the show notes, I joke about Justin Timberlake had the song bringing sexy back, right? And his next song, Jokingly Saying, you know, tongue in cheek, don't mean him any disrespect, it's going to be recorded in jail bringing public intoxication back to get the word out. But you know, seriously, we all need to bring pleasantries back because, yes, all kinds of trolls. It is mostly vile, vicious responses you get. So somebody says, thank you to me on social media. I say, thank you for the thank you. And I refer to them back to that show.
ROGER: Yes. And look, again, people wonder why a 70 year old would be doing a show with an 18 year old. Why? And look, you gave us a platform whereby we can tell everybody.
PUCK: I feel like a lot of people would ask that question a lot because... I agree. I feel like people ask that question a lot specifically because most people in my generation are used to your generation harshly judging our generation. Exactly. And I've gone through it before, actually, back in 2019, when I shaved my hair off. Like Britney's hearing, but not because I was bipolar, but because my dad died a cancer. Oh, yeah.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): And college area, great. That's why I've got the ball head to the media.
ROGER: I would have patted you on the back. I would have patted you on the back and gave you a kiss on the cheek, lady. I would have.
PUCK: But you... You had no idea what I went through, but it wasn't even my own generation being the harsh on me. It was baby boomer generation. It was. Yes. That's us. I would never... Okay. I have four brothers. So it's obvious I'm going to be a tomboy. And I have a little bit of a deeper voice than I usual women. But anyways...
ROGER: But you're a beautiful lady. For anybody who doesn't know this, that's the truth, actually. She is a beautiful lady.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): At any rate. Yeah. That's why when my hair came out, when my hair came out in 2010 due to the leukemia, I started to... You know, still, you know, there is history in 1980. If you have a bald head, people... What are you, a neo-nazi?
PUCK: Basically this one time, in the 2019 year when my hair head was bald, I went... My mom was very down the highway. And obviously, we need... Me and her, we need you to the restroom. So what you do when you use the restroom, you go into the gas station at the side of the highway. Okay. So I went to the restroom at the gas station, and then I was done using the restroom. I was washing my hands. And these two women who work, obviously, baby boomers, came in and they looked at the door because they thought I was a guy. I went to the restroom. I was like, no, you're in the woman's washroom. I shaved my hair off. My dad died in cancer. But they... I don't know. I don't think they believed me because they literally went, sir, you're a guy. You are messy, ill, and confused. Go to the men's restroom.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Well, given our times today, I mean 2019, it was a lot of... I mean, given our times today, there's a lot of weird things going on now that didn't 50 years ago. So... And I think you understand more than most... Yes.
PUCK: How's it going on? That's not the only time I went through that. It was brutal. I felt so mad because of it. I broke a mirror.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Uh-oh. Uh-oh. The statute of limitations has not grown up, young lady. You might be charged still. You just face his admission.
PUCK: Well, you're old. Yeah. Well, I didn't... I broke a mirror in my own house. Not at no public place.
ROGER: Okay. Okay. But hold on, listen, because this could go on for the next two days. We could keep talking like this. And this is what I enjoy. It is the line of communication that seems to be eager in both directions. Look, what this show is about, why we are visiting Joe, why we are so appreciative of Joe, is this is the second time we are going to upgrade this platform. We are going to go from a show where Roger, who is the boomer, had the main part telling everybody about the political woes of the world and Carrie had the minor part where she was either agreeing or disagreeing or trying to get a little word in here, edge-wise. What we have done is over the... over the year, she has morphed into a young lady who can stand up and do a show like this. So when she asked me, can we do more about the topic, Zoomers to Boomers and less about politics? Not that she doesn't want to talk about politics, but more... Let's focus more on bridging that gap between the Boomers and the Zoomers. So that's what we're doing here. And that's why we will be on two other guests, or guests appearing as guests on two other shows, is to let people know it's going to the next level. It's not going to be a political show every single week. It's going to be a Zoomer to Boomer show, and both Carrie and I will decide prior to the show each and every topic that will be discussed. And this is a great partner. Thank you, Carrie.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): A couple things is obviously you need to keep doing politics at least here and there because if the politics continue down the road to hell, we're on. Armageddon will be around the corner and you've got no future. If this gets screwed up now, there is no future. So it's obviously important. And the other thing is like, you know, the usual a soon, right? Make an ass out of you. And you and me. The whole point here, conversation. Consumes? Yeah. Ask. Don't make assumptions. Do this crazy thing and ask. Talk.
PUCK: Yeah, I think that's what TLB is there for. To ask questions.
ROGER: TLB talk for sure. TLB, yes. And again, for everybody who doesn't know, the Liberty Beacon project is five global news websites and a social media website. So it is.
PUCK: Yes. Wait, also because I didn't know this when when. But it's not it's not just also a website and a social media site, but it's also an app.
ROGER: Yes. Yes, it is an app. All right. And G. I'll be sure. Does have an app. Yeah. And for both types of phones. Yep. Virtually anything.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): You're not you need to have somebody. Phone savvy. Sites have to be accessible via app and vice versa. Now it is. I'm a former IT guy. So if you're not available on all platforms, you're going to be dead. Your your service will go away. You got to be able to present yourself to all the different avenues of ways people can reach you. But at any rate, I'm going to go ahead and wrap this up. This was just meant to be a rather short show mainly to promote zoomers to boomers. So people hear this wonderful concept. Hopefully you all tune in and indeed again about conversation and communication, no matter your age, no matter your age differences. Yeah. Talk to one another.
ROGER: I will tell you and I got to read this in. I got to tell you this real quick, everybody, so that you do understand this is a podcast until after pucks 18th birthday. And then this will be a live show. But right now it is a podcast and it can be listened to on the Liberty Beacon dot com, our flagship website every single Friday afternoon central time. And it is an article called zoomers to boomers. And that is the weekly podcast after the first of the year. I think Puck and I will be working our way towards a full time live show. So we'll see what happens, but Puck, is there anything you want to add, please?
PUCK: I hope everybody listening. Here it comes. I just burnt out everybody listening as they politically girded.
ROGER: She invented that word to make me laugh. And every time she says that I laugh.
PUCK: So I share the story of that. It's a short story. Yeah. On my very first podcast and very, very, very first when I was like a little baby. You know, the first little podcast of day that was the first ever giving children a voice podcast way before the summer. You know, a little baby. I know baby. Written down. It looked like it says, Paul, a tickle.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): What's that?
ROGER: What started this? He looked at political and thought it said, political.
PUCK: I know how to say politics. Okay. Political. When I'm speaking of conversation, I'm not and not reading off my notes because that was my first. Oh, I was reading notes, but when I'm not reading up notes, I know how to say political. But when I'm looking at my notes, like I got my first show. Every single political. Yeah.
ROGER: You know, show said, hold on, Joe, every single show since then, every show ends with have a polytically. I mean, it's a ticklingly great day, Roger.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): Everyone. That's great. Yeah, that's funny. I mean, phonetically, it kind of looks that way. Exactly.
ROGER: It doesn't, doesn't that say something to everybody listening that this young lady steps up so hard to make me smile and I work so hard to make sure that she's got something to move into. This is what we're supposed to be doing people talking. I are the perfect example of what rumors to boomers can be. Let's do it. Thank you.
PUCK: All right. Hey, Paul, you just got open up.
JOSEPH M LENARD (Host): All right. Roger and. Everybody. Great day till next time. We'll see you later. Temporarily a season two January 2025 video exclusive, but it'll probably appended to a show as an additional segment in February of 2025. About the cost of eggs. Well, if you don't know yet, get ready. The cost of eggs are about to double. Why fact the Biden administration with the Department of Agriculture, health and human services and the FDA ordered the slaughter of 5 million chickens. Now it's not the first time chickens have been ordered slaughtered in the name of concerned for safety, health and avian aka bird flu. Now, why but during the lame duck portion was put it that way of the Biden last year in office. Did they order the slaughter of 5 million birds. Now again, it's been done before, but never to that amount that agree. Why not maybe only 1 million or 2 million. If it's as bad as they contend, why not 10 million or 20 million. Why 5 million on select farms. Hence now. And you don't have to be a nerd to know this. You just happen to accidentally watch Hollywood Square the other day and the question was asked on average. What is a chicken. Play 1 3 or 5. Eggs. To bear more happened to have the question and guess 3 the contestant agreed and was incorrect on average chickens lay 1 egg a day. So that's 5 million less eggs a day in the supply chain when the demand isn't really changing. For an industry restaurant insider that I had the discussion with yesterday told me yes, his egg wholesale prices are going from like $1.11 an egg to 225. More than doubling the cost and he is trying to decide he is 3 egg omelette. Probably is going to have to go down to just 2 eggs. It'll be cheaper to put more meat into the omelette than the eggs. Now wholesale pricing wise and he's still going to have to increase the price of that omelette. Will consumers be able to afford to pay for it. The doubling of the egg price might come back down a bit as demand for the eggs as people aren't going to pay $20 for a breakfast because of the price of the eggs. The demand should scale back a little and the price scaled down a little but still from $1.11 to $2.25. Even if it scales back to $2 it's still almost double for the price of an egg on the wholesale market. I don't know I haven't talked to my grocery insiders yet to see what they plan on doing price wise to those eggs that are there for you to buy. Now trying to tamper any conspiracy theories but of course they exist. Why 5 million? Why then basically the last months of the Biden administration and now all of a sudden during congressional hearings you're hearing about the cost of eggs. And blaming Trump for the cost of eggs rising lately and they're about to double so they're setting a false narrative to try to blame the Trump administration. It has nothing to do with them. This is something that was ordered by the Biden administration and is causing your cost of eggs to double. I'm going to end it here. Just wanted to deliver the news before you see it in the news and now you know why to talk about eggs is all over Congress.
