Warner and that's L E N A R D CTP is your no-mus no plus just me you can occasional death type podcast hello everybody welcome back to another show of ChristiTushelist Politics podcast I will have with me today a guest Michael William how are you Michael doing fine sir thank you for having me very happy to have you and people looking at behind the scenes video can see I'm holding up Michael Stover's press release regarding your what's wrong with you song which really resonated with me and why I want to talk to you but before we get to that and before we get to the nitty gritty about you know where were you born where you raised where you're at now that site sort of thing I of course have to joke well for clarification to the guests or the listeners and viewers it is Michael William not Michael William so first I got a joke how did you line up with two first names my parents apparently they have a sense of humor yes so indeed at any rate go ahead and give us the nitty gritty on the you were born at a young age where raised and where you are
MICHAEL WILLIAM: now that sort of thing well I was born raised up on the east coast I spent most of my life in the mostly in the wild areas of Alaska and most recently I'm
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): down here in Florida one extreme to the other well I'll say yeah Alaska is one of those states I've never been to Hawaii either I haven't been all to all 48 contiguous US states either but I've been to a majority of them always wanted to take a cruise to Hawaii and a cruise to Alaska back when I had the money didn't have time and now that I've got time don't got the money yes right especially with inflation the way it is but indeed the before I talk to you about the song what's wrong with you and yeah like I said it resonates with me I want to say Rick Springfield is one of my favorite musical artists and he's got a song it's always something and Lady Gagme as I jokingly call her I'm not a fan did poker face brilliant songs because they taken every day topic or phrase and turn it into music and you've done that now with what's wrong with you I can't tell you how many times a day I'm out there having to restrain myself wanting to smack the crap out of somebody and indeed say what's wrong with you so you
MICHAEL WILLIAM: what inspired this brilliant song well basically it's a reflection like I stayed in the song my love for Jesus Christ love from my family my love for this country undying love and lately we've heard that those attributes are considered detriment and I always wondered how in the United States of America that that would be a problem so the Lord really put it on my heart to voice this opinion because I believe I'm not the only one that feels that way in this country even though the news tell you it's different yeah oh there's
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): another song title I'm not the only one right I'm the only one you're right yeah I I Christian show obviously Christitutions politics I say all the time it's not a Catholic Presbyterian Methodist Baptist whatever whatever whatever whatever brand sect denomination or supposed to non-denominational show it's for all Christians of any variety to come together because Satan wins if we don't focus on the things we agree on in the Bible rather than silly little things maybe between us that we would then argue about and so you're you're in a way kind of reflecting that that can we focus on some things we can come
MICHAEL WILLIAM: together on things like that I agree totally the Lord tells us let there be no divisions among us and that's Satan's work to start with as far as I'm concerned I'm appealing just to all Christians to appeal to the Lord and pray and participate let it be on their heart which way they go but please
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): stand up and be counted for the Lord amen amen and I was I lost my train of thought what I was actually going with that is no one on this earth is perfect I was born and raised Catholic I left the night to Columbus because there's a rule you don't criticize the pope well excuse me the pope is not Jesus he's just another man and I coined the hashtag on social media nincompope because frankly I think he's more interested in peddling communism than Catholicism and community is biblical as discussed on the show many times communism is a bastardization community is free will we are to want to be our brothers keeper and take care of widows and oaths through our own blood and treasure versus the bastardized communism which is by force and fest I take it you
MICHAEL WILLIAM: agree with me in that right well that's why I stand is just being a Christian like what you just mentioned I don't cotton to the divisions that we have among us I believe the Christians should be Christians and that's what hopefully the appeal to my music and the message yeah I hear you and again I'm
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): not just trying to pick on this particular pope I say I'm a pope John Paul II kind of Christian or Catholic but as pastor Rick Deetering says of wam I'm not your normal Catholic in fact I only go to my church every once in a while I go to many other churches of other denominations making that very point can we focus together on things we agree on not let things divide us but of course there are red lines in the Bible there are certain things certain lines we sure can't cross but no one no one on this planet is perfect and no one is above criticism but again that red line means I don't hate you it right it's hate to sin love the sinner love even your enemy I don't hate you it's just I
MICHAEL WILLIAM: may not be able to deal with you I agree God says that he's a judge I'm not to judge and that's really why I don't want to make political recommendations honestly it's got you got to search your heart as a Christian and let the Lord acknowledge your decisions I think I lost you here for a second can you see
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): me yeah yeah you're still still here or you should still here you keep going
MICHAEL WILLIAM: okay yeah apologize but no problem believe that that decision has to be an individual with their personal relationship with Christ and that's really my appeal yeah stand up and be counted and participate in this nation
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): because there's so much at stake right now well I'm glad you said what you said use the word judge because I've discussed many times on the show of Matthew 7 is one of the most misquoted out of context scriptures in the whole thing it says judge not less you be judged but it's really from the original Greek Aramaic Latin and Hebrew condemn not because final judgment is for the Lord there are other scriptures and even Matthew 7 goes on to say you'll be judged by the same measure right and remove the law from your own eye other scriptures say to judge based on biblical standards but again not hate and as you suggested final judgment is for the Lord condemn not less G.B. condemn but again some people it's just better to stay away from rather than to get into the
MICHAEL WILLIAM: arguments yes I understand but that's why I hope my song is gonna resonate for even people that disagree and my prayerful hope is that even ones that don't believe in the Lord Jesus may be through this song well think about him think about the love for our country and the love for our family which is criticized today sometimes that's not what the Lord tells us he tells us that those are values that I would love to see continue to emulate in this country
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): amen amen I spoke with in the past she's a rapper and I've recorded with D.B.P. another rapper and even yet another rapper all of us talking about the need to bring positivity back to the rap genre and they're trying to do that and indeed a degree of gospel into rap that would be wonderful to hear yeah instead of majority of rap is of course negative drug section death destruction shooting and indeed we need I don't know who first said it I mean it's all over online media of course all the time our problem is when or began when we took God out of the classroom we took the pledge of allegiance out of the classrooms there is no stability of this nation's at least sense of relative reasonable good nature neighborliness unlike Tim wall says about some person socialism is another person's neighborliness again biblical community is not communism that's different but to be good people that you have to be some accepted norms whether they're biblical or not like pen of pen and teller who's an atheist said he's not an anti-Christian a Christian hater atheist like many are and trying to destroy religion in our country those are good things to have right I don't get to kill you you don't get to kill me I don't get to steal from you you don't get
MICHAEL WILLIAM: to steal from me correct I believe in what you said before to about what you relating to is humbleness and I think that that's the approach I prefer because that's what I get from learning about Christ it's a lot of humbleness it's a humble appeal all people all people in this country to participate and stand up for biblical values and hopefully they'll get a better understanding of biblical values by reading the scriptures and praying maybe this song will help them
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): get there and we have a First Amendment right to speech we have a First Amendment right freedom of our religion this isn't just Christianity Buddhism has got some wonderful tenants other religions also have some wonderful tenants and if we're sticking to those positive aspects as opposed to the hate the other guy aspects unfortunately in some religious teachings these days but a lot of that's extra biblical or extra-cranical or you know extra text outside of the original foundations of the supposed faith that humankind has derailed the best intentions
MICHAEL WILLIAM: and turned it bad yes yes but I believe what Jesus says in the scripture me personally I believe he's telling the truth he's my Lord and Savior and it would be a great blessing for others to discover that let's put this big rig in
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): reverse let's back it up and let's talk about you as a former well you I read
MICHAEL WILLIAM: that ring your former service I was in the in the army National Guard I worked in a scout unit I did not go see combat but I was in during the combat time only
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): time I got shot at was when I was a police officer that which leads me indeed to the next question when well you know I mean you don't have to give a date how long were you a cop how long were you a Leo where were you the general but just state maybe not the city that you were a Leo in and that kind of thing sure I was a police officer for eight years in Alaska oh up there I would sure hope things would be a little better up there than like a Chicago or a Detroit or a St. Louis or New York City or San Francisco and LA because the the remoteness and you are even more dependent on each other up there than you are anywhere else so was crime really bad or indeed is my conjecture correct that people are a lot more reasonable and understand as neighbors we all got to work together in this harsh land at times that very true but yes
MICHAEL WILLIAM: there's crime in Alaska and but people do tend to help each other that that's a fact and always I could say about law enforcement is the same as any place it
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): has some mighty interest in times yeah and more so now it seems with soft on crime policies and no cash bail and letting these people right back out on the street again and when I see these people for you medium matters morons out there who like to attack us Christians and conservatives I didn't say of any race I'm talking about of any and all races it white black or pink polka darling if you're committing crimes they need to be locked up it's called try to perform them or if not at least attempt a modicum of deterrence going forward but if you're going to let somebody steal a thousand dollars of property every week they go into Walgreens without prosecution you're
MICHAEL WILLIAM: inviting more crime yes yes I believe that you should be held accountable for the crimes that you commit and the laws should be enforced and that's out of the scriptures yeah and put my life on the line as everybody else my brothers and sisters law enforcement in the military do every day
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): amen my terror strikes coming into a city near you it is in part dedicated to first responders whether and I include you know EMT fire police other types of law enforcement even security guards the military is a first responder of sorts even correction officers I try to acknowledge all of your wonderful great service it's really appreciated at least by me and this show I mentioned like taking God and the pledge out of school seems to be a lot of where it started and getting what is your thought on indeed where it started or where it actually really ramped up getting worse and what we might be able to do to turn back as I like to joke the AC DC song highway the hell we're on the highway to hell at 250 miles an hour and people want to punch the gas and go in disaster down the highway to hell rather than even remotely kid it consider slowing down let alone turning around well it's been a continual ramping up
MICHAEL WILLIAM: ever since I've been a child my song hopefully it makes a statement about that that it's time to stand up and change that right now I believe it's critical we need to stand up for biblical principles put God first again not on the back burner but first and foremost like he asked us to and if we place him first he will bless us in our country that I believe yeah and again let me
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): reiterate while this is of course a Christian show I talk about our Judeo Christian foundations but as I previously mentioned Penn of Penn and Teller atheist you don't have to be Jewish or Christian again we have freedom of religion of whatever faith or no faith at all but how can anyone even a proclaimed atheist like Penn sees right there's got to be a return to some values and principles how can anyone think what's going on now is actually a good thing is working somehow well let's try to work in the opposite
MICHAEL WILLIAM: direction by putting Christ first again in our lives in our homes especially with our families and our country will flow from there but it needs to start with the families and a personal relationship with Christ and his
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): teachings yeah like I said earlier we're recording today my powers out when the power was out I got in the car to go to a local store to see if they still had power and pick up a couple things in case the powers was gonna be out for longer term because I didn't have as many can goods and things as I should have because these things aren't a matter of if but a matter of when to what degree like here it just happened to be an hour and a half or so it was out but what happens if it's a day and a half a week and a half a month and a half right these things can happen because we have not and seem to refuse to harden our grid and indeed I ran into well not literally ran into I came across along the roadway indeed one of those people that I wanted to cut them off get out of my car go yell at them what's wrong with you and smack the crap out of them but of course I didn't do that thankfully I restrained myself well let's hope
MICHAEL WILLIAM: that the what's wrong with you is it's a peaceful message sir I'm excited one
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): yeah but okay right I'm glad you said that I get that right I'll listen to it but indeed most people do associate what's wrong with you as an anger statement and indeed I'm glad you're kind of trying to reshape and rework that message alone to a calmer more peaceful logic and reason point than a point of anger
MICHAEL WILLIAM: yes sir it's not in the statement made an anger it's an observational question and it's got to come from your own heart that you observe that there's something wrong with it that's the message to the song mm-hmm and I take it

Music, TV, & Politics…
A few weeks back I had a “Lets go to the Lobby for Snacks and Politics” piece and its follow-up “Movies, Snacks, Politics, part 2” so makes sense – lets talk briefly about Music and TV…
But first a brief reprise about Movies – I hope you all caught “They Live” 35th Anniversary this year (while showing in many Theaters September 2023) and if not at Theaters please rent or stream it after you read this. Reminder: “They Live” an early John Carpenter (Writer/Director) piece where he dared to go down ChristiTutionalist Politics line before I coined the term and “Aliens” (the E.T. variety) as stand-in for the #DeepState always moving and manipulating behind scenes. Human-nature of those willing to go-along-to-get-along to Cash in for themselves. The 15-minute (minor exaggeration) I hinted at in the Movies pieces is great metaphorical outline for the verbal back-and-forth we often have with DUMBocrats to get them to see Reality!

Lastly, I know this is OLD NEWS to a degree and you are well aware and likely heard this story for several weeks already via FOXNEWS, NEWSMAX, OAN, and other outlets (including the ridiculous attempts by Left #ENEMEdia to make this somehow a Racist song calling for violence when the Writers (no, not Jason) and he (Jason) indeed all on the same page as to why they wrote it and why he wanted to Record it. AN ANTI-CRIME and ANTI-VIOLENCE piece, but if/when push comes to shove that we do have a Right to Defend ourselves from it. To protect and prevent our Communities being Arsoned to the ground by ANTIFA and #BlackLyingMarxist Hitlerian Brown-Shirt thugs.
Only the Left and their constant Race-baiting have the gall to say scenes (that show people of ALL RACES) is somehow Racist as an indictment of Black people? Who are the Racists? They are, if they say crime automatically equals Black people! Meanwhile scuttling #BidenCrimeFamily investigations and still creating major reach (stretching beyond all credulity of those Laws intent) on Statutes to try to charge POTUS45/Trump! Spare us the “What about the Lynching that took place at that Courthouse a hundred years ago” manure that no-one knew about until the Leftists #ENEMEdia desperate for a Talking-Point managed to dig up that History. I guess the Hannah Montana and the Christmas Movie filmed there are now also Racist (just like they tried to deem Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” as somehow Racist). When are Black Americans going to wake up to this pathetic and desperate Race-baiting?!?! Whom, in Poll after Poll show they want more police protection from the runaway and rampant Crime happening due to FASCICRATS weak-on-Crime and other failing policies!!!
Thank you to all that emailed or called CMT or Cable Companies that carry CMT and let them know they would like CMT pulled from their line-up as money will be the only thing they understand. As discussed in the BIDENomics pieces they chase the Woke ESG pennies, we must make then suffer huge dollar loses until they learn to stop pandering to the Cancel Culture manure.
A friend of mine posted a Breitbart article titled “Woke Maren Morris Announces She’s Leaving Country Music: ‘Misogynistic & Racist & Homophobic & Transphobic’” (no, not gonna link it) that I would talk about but all our “kind” reactions (here are those) were “WHO?” And some “less than polite” responses too (including a few snide ones from yours truly). LOL

Television:
That’s now Movies, Music, but what about TV? May as well take a pot-shot at that too?!?! I had for decades hoped we’d get a reboot of “The Streets of San Francisco;” like Hawaii Five-O was, and Magnum P.I. was; and while I liked those originals (I did not tune-in for those reboots) but that was long before Newsome, Piglosi, others, have completely destroyed it over these last couple of decades. So, maybe best we can hope for is reboot of Adam-12; though that was set in L.A. which has equally degraded into one of Dante’s layers of Hell, but maybe could be reset into a different City; as a method of bringing traditional values and BACK THE BLUE back; as opposed to all the Trash we’re getting these days (like, sadly, the reboot of Quantum Leap went all WOKE)?!?!?
Some final thoughts:
Now after three-parts total of/for “Movies and Politics (Music and TV tacked on in part 3)” I could go on forever, and probably no surprise to anyone that is a regular reader of mine that at some time in near future I would have a part three (more on Movies, and to pivot to Music and TV) as I now have!
Follow-up to the piece a few weeks back discussion of one of my all-time favorite Directors/Producers Roland Emmerich (and the part 2 “Movies, Snacks, Politics” piece): Many know Toby and/or Noah Emmerich, two of the people involved in/with the great Movie CELLULAR (with Noah Emmerich*, Chris Evans, Jason Statham, William H. Macy, Kim Bassinger, more) I just rented (via my DISHnetwork OnDemand feature (sign-up with my VCD0026116345 referral code for discounts)) to watch again as it is an A+ (remember, when that film came out was just at the time of proliferation of Cell phones with advanced features and therefore absolute genius script at that time). A good “temporary escape from Politics film.” From GOOGLE (about Noah): On television, the native New Yorker was a series regular on BACKWASH and played the despondent Dr. Edwin Jenner in the two-part Season 1 finale of THE WALKING DEAD. Emmerich's brother is film producer Toby Emmerich, but they are not, Emmerich explains, related to Director/Producer Roland Emmerich.
