• Music censorship prevents honest conversations even when content has positive intent
• Some artists like Cher abandon their own work rather than contextualizing it for modern audiences
• The song in question actually promotes a Martin Luther King Jr-style message about character over appearance
• Professor of Rock's "Taboo Tunes" series documents music effectively removed from circulation
• When we cannot name what we're discussing, meaningful cultural conversations become impossible

Hey gang, just a brief intro into music weeks. Here they are now. Music weeks
thankfully is grown into a pretty big deal so it's grown a lot more than just
the one music we get originally was gonna start out as into multiple weeks.
Now let's go ahead and get into this particular day's music weeks episodes and
I'm trying to drop them Monday through Friday each week of music weeks.
Morning! This episode contains some audio and or video glitches. It is not your
equipment. Hello everybody! I will get into the this being shorter episode of
music week about music censorship, cancel culture in a second but a brief
intro after the show intro about what's going on. Some with music weeks it's
growing. I'm for those behind the scenes video I'm trying to go through my closet
and dig up concert shirts from various people, various venues over time and
today if you're looking behind the scenes video I'm wearing Joan Jett and
the black hearts from her fetish tour. Now people might think oh a Christian
way and fetish isn't that kind of a sexual perversion thing. Well you're
kind of missing a point here. It's a concept item, an album, yes sexual
overtone also someone like in music or dealing in music week. Right? Someone
may be someone's muse to inspire a writing, inspire a song, inspire a book,
to inspire them to all kinds of things. A fetish in her song is you are my fetish
as if like your love are love for each other. Your love is my fetish so it's an
analogy. Can we please please lighten up to some degree on some things please
gotta maintain a sense of humor and again we're dealing in music week and
this are all kinds of metaphors that get used in music for certain things I
joke when I go on shows and talk about my books. I'm too clever for metaphors
I use meta sixes but a bump right? You know me I can't pass the lame pun but
yeah so don't get the black heart fetish yes sexual double untime bra in
you window but be a look beyond that to a bigger broader metaphorical analogy of
love is there so don't judge your heart play and I get it right? These artists
want to do something new and different they get tired and bored of the same
stuff like I've talked about them. Hailey got all kinds of grief with women and
children first entering keyboards under the all the what do you want I'm playing
a running with the devil which is not a Satanic worship song if you listen to
it the background you can look it up the background online for that phrase it's
that Satanic worship again please can we calm down its analogies its metaphors and
running with the devil kind of keeping up with the Jones's metaphor but also
firehouse which I'd love to wear that shirt had a shirt with all four band
members that we met back when I was married at Harpo's music theater I can
meet and talk with them one of their songs just one of my favorites it's not
blasphemous it's not sacrilegious it's just a metaphor and it's a good one
their song you are my religion he's not saying he's making someone their Christ
like figure and their god it is and they worship the ground they walk on they
pay metaphor and analogy and a great one of their acoustics album so at any
rate I said all that to say this some people you're not going to see during
music weeks have music related episodes I wanted to mention Gista talk about rap
also about loss human loss and property loss because he's originally from no
law and his mother went through the Katrina catastrophe and that you want to
talk about a man called disaster they failed to shore up the levees when they
were given money to do so and of course the storm came they couldn't hold it
back and many more people's lives were lost and their livelihoods destroyed because the
politicians stole that money and used it for other things hold on their story but
should Neil and Luanne Hunt I'm in December 2024 because we talk music
including some Christmas music going back Richard Lynch has been on twice Robert Ross has been on
so I know I'm drawing a blank and I could go into some of the people who will be on for music weeks
but why bother just please watch Monday through Friday once music weeks kicks off for two three
weeks maybe even a whole music month I hope by the time I'm done building this still in the
development stages as I record this putting it together giving people to come on the show
the point being there's too many to mention and those that would have been re-freeze shows
are kind of now crowded out so I wanted to mention some of them the three years
calendar years now that I've been on 2022 I've had on many musical guests for many reasons to talk
music and other things just wanted you to know hey outside of music weeks go back in the catalog
and find those other great musical artists that aren't on during music weeks now but are worthy
of you going back and looking at thank you all take care god bless let's get to the music censorship
segment hello everyone this is going to be a bit of an odd episode for music weeks run
but I felt I needed to do it it'll probably be pretty short too because I have to be careful
what I say here or YouTube will kick me off YouTube and why I say that for behind the scenes
video I'm holding up my note there was a YouTube video called taboo tunes three from a professor
of rock I think he goes by on YouTube he had taboo tunes one taboo tunes to two and taboo
tunes three about music that is met with cancel culture and pretty much doesn't get any airplane

of left woke PC cultural Marxism destroying America cancel culture and censorship
professor of rock had the taboo tunes three and he had to carefully dance around words like I'm
going to have to hear I want to address just one one song he goes into there and again check out
the sub stack article goes into things won't be able to go into in the video
but a song by share all right I think some of her I'm not a big fan of her personally but
she's got some good stuff right she's recorded some good music well way way way back when when
she was with a sunny and share so people who are older will remember that younger people
who probably be asking who the heck was sunny but sunny and share a husband and wife team
she married him he broke her into basically the music industry
but she did a song I can't say the name of the song here which is the issue which is the problem
with pathetic correctness crowd you can't say some things to have an honest conversation which is
what my article was all about and what this show is about but her mixed heritage you see me I'm
video behind the scenes using the air quotes right I can say mixed heritage she was part
Cherokee part Caucasian and the song in question here that she now refuses to sing anymore refuses
to play even though it was a major major massive hit for her way back when and the point I'm making
here is people who lead to conclusions the perfect correctness crowd the cancel quote for
crowd that and I am so upset with share that she refuses to do this song because the song is
positive but people look at it negatively just because of the title of song it's not politically
correct to say but it is a Martin Luther King jr content of character type positive the
positivity if I could get that word out song about not judging based on looks but content of
character and how people back then when she was younger looks down upon her because of her
part Cherokee nature she wasn't accepted in Cherokee because of her Caucasian side she wasn't accepted
by a lot in the Caucasian crowd because of her Cherokee side and the whole point of the song
is Martin Luther King jr style content of character but yet she refuses to stand to the woke crowd
because she's a leftist rather than say hey this song is a positive song it's an empowerment song
it's about judging on content of character but she won't say that she just refuses to do the
song now which is sad and ashamed because she could be educating people she could be doing good in our
society talking about that song and doing a monologue perhaps before going into the song
about what it's really about and people's emotional, hysteric, snowflakeism,
idiocy over the title of the song about if you're concerned about it change the name of the song
and call it mixed heritage so people be less up and a roar about it because again it's a
positive good song so with that said this is just going to be a short episode mainly because it
fits into music week the music week's plural but it is a music week episode urging you to go to my

to even acknowledge the tool ever existed anymore and it's heathic that's why i call pc
not political correctness but heathatical corruptness share you are doing a disservice to yourself
and to all people's by refusing to deal with the issue
you disgusted with her over this and they were and because again i enjoy so the the the tremolo's
one that the believe if you're watching on the video i'm not using auto i'm using my finger
and my throat to cause a bit of the reverb of that right did do you believe in life after
love and whatever i mean she's had some good songs some clever songs i don't have to like
the person to acknowledge they've done some good music and here share i want to praise you for a
great tune you did but you now distance yourself from that tune and it's such a shame though again

A few weeks back I had a “Lets go to the Lobby for Snacks and Politics” piece and its follow-up “Movies, Snacks, Politics, part 2” so makes sense – lets talk briefly about Music and TV…
But first a brief reprise about Movies – I hope you all caught “They Live” 35th Anniversary this year (while showing in many Theaters September 2023) and if not at Theaters please rent or stream it after you read this. Reminder: “They Live” an early John Carpenter (Writer/Director) piece where he dared to go down ChristiTutionalist Politics line before I coined the term and “Aliens” (the E.T. variety) as stand-in for the #DeepState always moving and manipulating behind scenes. Human-nature of those willing to go-along-to-get-along to Cash in for themselves. The 15-minute (minor exaggeration) I hinted at in the Movies pieces is great metaphorical outline for the verbal back-and-forth we often have with DUMBocrats to get them to see Reality!

Lastly, I know this is OLD NEWS to a degree and you are well aware and likely heard this story for several weeks already via FOXNEWS, NEWSMAX, OAN, and other outlets (including the ridiculous attempts by Left #ENEMEdia to make this somehow a Racist song calling for violence when the Writers (no, not Jason) and he (Jason) indeed all on the same page as to why they wrote it and why he wanted to Record it. AN ANTI-CRIME and ANTI-VIOLENCE piece, but if/when push comes to shove that we do have a Right to Defend ourselves from it. To protect and prevent our Communities being Arsoned to the ground by ANTIFA and #BlackLyingMarxist Hitlerian Brown-Shirt thugs.
Only the Left and their constant Race-baiting have the gall to say scenes (that show people of ALL RACES) is somehow Racist as an indictment of Black people? Who are the Racists? They are, if they say crime automatically equals Black people! Meanwhile scuttling #BidenCrimeFamily investigations and still creating major reach (stretching beyond all credulity of those Laws intent) on Statutes to try to charge POTUS45/Trump! Spare us the “What about the Lynching that took place at that Courthouse a hundred years ago” manure that no-one knew about until the Leftists #ENEMEdia desperate for a Talking-Point managed to dig up that History. I guess the Hannah Montana and the Christmas Movie filmed there are now also Racist (just like they tried to deem Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” as somehow Racist). When are Black Americans going to wake up to this pathetic and desperate Race-baiting?!?! Whom, in Poll after Poll show they want more police protection from the runaway and rampant Crime happening due to FASCICRATS weak-on-Crime and other failing policies!!!
Thank you to all that emailed or called CMT or Cable Companies that carry CMT and let them know they would like CMT pulled from their line-up as money will be the only thing they understand. As discussed in the BIDENomics pieces they chase the Woke ESG pennies, we must make then suffer huge dollar loses until they learn to stop pandering to the Cancel Culture manure.
A friend of mine posted a Breitbart article titled “Woke Maren Morris Announces She’s Leaving Country Music: ‘Misogynistic & Racist & Homophobic & Transphobic’” (no, not gonna link it) that I would talk about but all our “kind” reactions (here are those) were “WHO?” And some “less than polite” responses too (including a few snide ones from yours truly). LOL

Television:
That’s now Movies, Music, but what about TV? May as well take a pot-shot at that too?!?! I had for decades hoped we’d get a reboot of “The Streets of San Francisco;” like Hawaii Five-O was, and Magnum P.I. was; and while I liked those originals (I did not tune-in for those reboots) but that was long before Newsome, Piglosi, others, have completely destroyed it over these last couple of decades. So, maybe best we can hope for is reboot of Adam-12; though that was set in L.A. which has equally degraded into one of Dante’s layers of Hell, but maybe could be reset into a different City; as a method of bringing traditional values and BACK THE BLUE back; as opposed to all the Trash we’re getting these days (like, sadly, the reboot of Quantum Leap went all WOKE)?!?!?
Some final thoughts:
Now after three-parts total of/for “Movies and Politics (Music and TV tacked on in part 3)” I could go on forever, and probably no surprise to anyone that is a regular reader of mine that at some time in near future I would have a part three (more on Movies, and to pivot to Music and TV) as I now have!
Follow-up to the piece a few weeks back discussion of one of my all-time favorite Directors/Producers Roland Emmerich (and the part 2 “Movies, Snacks, Politics” piece): Many know Toby and/or Noah Emmerich, two of the people involved in/with the great Movie CELLULAR (with Noah Emmerich*, Chris Evans, Jason Statham, William H. Macy, Kim Bassinger, more) I just rented (via my DISHnetwork OnDemand feature (sign-up with my VCD0026116345 referral code for discounts)) to watch again as it is an A+ (remember, when that film came out was just at the time of proliferation of Cell phones with advanced features and therefore absolute genius script at that time). A good “temporary escape from Politics film.” From GOOGLE (about Noah): On television, the native New Yorker was a series regular on BACKWASH and played the despondent Dr. Edwin Jenner in the two-part Season 1 finale of THE WALKING DEAD. Emmerich's brother is film producer Toby Emmerich, but they are not, Emmerich explains, related to Director/Producer Roland Emmerich.
