JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): Welcome to the ChristiTutionalist politics podcast aka CTP. I am your host Joseph M. Lenard and that L-E-N-A-R-D. CTP is your No muss, no fuss just me, you can occasional guess type podcast. I really appreciate you tuning in. Let's get out of the show! Hey gang, just a brief intro into music weeks. Here they are now. I was also considering going down the list of all the people that you see over the music weeks to be part of each episode. Let you know who's coming or who may have been or whatnot. The list has grown too big to really go into here. I don't want to take that much time. Music weeks thankfully is grown into a pretty big deal. So it's grown a lot more than just the one music week. It originally was going to start out as into multiple weeks now. So at any rate rather than ramble more let's go ahead and get into this particular day's music weeks episodes and I'm trying to drop them Monday through Friday each week of music weeks. Okay okay okay. As I've said many times I'm human I make mistakes right in perfect in frail. Well this is now as I joke at times. Sometimes you need to back things up right like the garbage truck. So I need to back it up. I am recording this segment to lead into the discussion with Lady Redneck that I have but I have to explain that during the interview Lady Redneck Stephanie Lee is gonna seem a bit confused because I keep referring to her about having some amazing grace out in the canyon wherever that wasn't still not remembering. Well it wasn't Lady Redneck at all. It was Chanel that I spoke with during December regarding Christmas that sang amazing grace outdoors in a canyon. So if or I should say when we get to the episode and she appears confused but not wanting to quite challenge me the host of Hey Stupid that wasn't me. I don't know what you're talking about. Thank you Stephanie for not wanting to make me look stupid but it is what it is. I was thinking the wrong person. So Chanel sung amazing grace outdoors. I'll throw the screenshot of that up behind the scenes video if you're looking at the behind the scenes video. So when it seems confused it's because indeed I the host was confused and Stephanie the guest was confused not knowing what I was talking about because I was thinking of the wrong person and also during the show I will mention her a pair is from season two September special three September of 2024. I'm now going to insert a little of that interview as a tease indeed hoping you'll go back and look at the whole thing. That will be a cut from that interview before we get to the new interview. Okay thank you all. Let's get going. I'm sure I've confused you now. So let's just move on right with me today is Stephanie Lee probably be the only time I actually mentioned her name because AKA Lady Redneck which I want to get in depth in that as we go but first the obvious background stuff born in Idaho born and raised where all have you been where are you now. Let's get into that
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): nitty-gritty first. Okay yeah yeah I grew up in Idaho literally the town that I was raised until I was 12 was population 23. It was called really old. Yeah we had like a little stoplight and there's a sore open when they wanted it to be. So it was like and that's going to show like little house on the prairie. It was kind of like that feeling of just like the purity of the simplistic lifestyle where we grew up like rodeo grew up you know just you know just family horses and a few friends and that's kind of it. So that's how I grew up until I moved to the big city of Idaho Falls and I was in Shanghai and then I went off I went to college and BYU Idaho and then I went on a mission for my church for a year and a half and then I've lived in the Philippines Arizona and now I'm in North Dallas Texas.
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): Another mini segment segue recording that was Lady Redneck from her first visit that little snippet now indeed this little segment to segue into the actual interview that I did do I'm looking down at my calendar with Lady Redneck on Monday February the 24th for airing as part of music weeks. So let's get to that segment now that we've cleared up why we're both confused during the episode. Welcome everybody to another episode of Perstitutional's Politics Podcast part of the Music Weeks series now welcome back to the show Stephanie Lee aka Lady Redneck. Thank you I'm so glad to be here thanks for having me. Yeah and in you're here for a specific reason now I said welcome back which means yes you've been here before so we're not going to get into the where were you born and raised stuff. If people after this episode want to learn more go back into my catalog season two episode set for September special three so that means it was the third Wednesday of September of 2024 specifically September 18th 2024 you appeared there and before we go on for the benefit of the transcript and the audio I'm I've recorded a few episodes for music weeks I didn't think of this but now episodes I record I'm digging out old concert shirts so today with you I'm happy to wear a Clint Black pray for peace prepare for war shirt and it's bunching up because I'm actually wearing it backwards. This is the back on the other side it says I rock and roll I rock as in not I ROCK I R a Q for I rock or I rack however you wish to pronounce it leading into the first golf war this goes back that far so I used to have like a thousand shirts various concerts and whatnot and that's at some point I decided I can't keep all these gave a bunch of ways so now what I need them I might down digging oh my god what concert shirts do I have left to show off during music weeks. But anyway you're not here to talk about Clint Black and when you were here the first time we did talk about you're singing amazing grace where where was it not the Grand Canyon but where did you sing it. Well
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): I've seen it a lot of different places but I just actually recorded it and just released it just this last month and it did get number three on the iTunes
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): chart so that would make me pretty happy. Yep yep and I normally wouldn't do this but I'm gonna read a little bit from Michael Stovers press release here because indeed that last episode in September or last year we did talk about you singing amazing grace in a canyon somewhere or something I don't remember but go back to that episode people it's worth watching. Michael Roach, Michael Roach, Christian country artist Lady Redneck is set to captivate audiences once again with the release of her heartfelt new rendition of amazing grace available on February 14th it dropped Valentine's Day this will be after Valentine's Day now obviously the new release follows the successful single Walk in Faith which as you mentioned number three on the UK iTunes Christian chart so that's good with a grace. His print is too small. I need new glasses with a string of chart topping hits like a child of God we definitely talked about that the last episode and God so loved the world I think we covered that a little bit blah blah blah blah praise factor awards and praise I love good word play it's spelled not P-R-A-I-S-E it's spelled P-R-A-Y-Z-E I love that praise factor awards voices of gospel music awards and the Josie music awards so you haven't even busy I have sweetheart been it's been great I love it well you got such good reaction to your video version of amazing grace that you did that we talked about on the last episode it made perfect sense that you officially record and release it is that the again Christian show so the obvious joke the genesis of it
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): of course frankly it's one of my favorite songs anyway and it was one that I'd
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): always wanted to record so it's a special like single drop or is it indeed going to be on a album soon yeah it'll be on an album I'm almost done with my
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): second Christian album and so it'll definitely be on the second one that I do I think I'm about two songs away from it so it's exciting it'll be really
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): good for sure okay good now I asked carefully is it hush hush secret secret or can you tell us the name of the title of the album or is it not even
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): determined yet it's not quite determined it at this point I think that I know
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): but I'm not a hundred percent sure so uh-huh so you're kind of laboring under like a little bit of both like like my books right they start off with a working title that relates to the concept of the stuff on the album but yeah final release lands up a collaboration of a whole lot of people
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): what should it be called I always like to ask God anyway just let him direct and quite frankly the last song that I released on there may be the most influential and so you know I really don't as far as my albums I don't usually name them until everything's been finished anyway and I prayed about it so like it's where it needs to be and then and then I can make sure that I'm doing it
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): the right way yeah yeah like you said the very last song you record might be the most inspired one well gonna be tough to be more inspired than amazing grace but right as far as new material it may be the most inspired and like wow that's that's the one that hits and therefore it would be the album title
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): I get that I'm in the middle of riding one that's pretty powerful and I think that a lot of people are gonna relate to it and it may kind of just twist the way that the album turns out so that's why it's not quite determined right I
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): understand I get that can you again in less of its hush-cush secret secret a couple of the tunes that you do have already written and recorded that are gonna appear on the album can you give us a tease of a couple of those titles or do you want that want you in case if they land up on the cut room floor
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): yeah yeah I'm fine like three days was a huge hit for me and that'll definitely be on the album the child of God like we talked about that'll definitely be on the album amazing grace of course those are just three right there that will
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): prefer beyond the album yeah I really enjoyed our discussion of child of God like I don't want to repeat a lot of stuff from the episode again people it came out in September of 2024 please go back and see that but indeed we did talk about child of God versus child of that building that happens to have a steeple on it and isn't really fully a church anymore it's become a humanist club like I like to say Dennis Quaid invented the term which I'm jealous of that he thought of it for I did churchy-anity right whereas you're really more just a member of that building rather than a real child of God not that
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): church is bad I mean it's there's definitely a place for it but our relationship with God is so personal so individual and so one-on-one and so church is great for strengthening and it's sometimes going more weak and our faith is struggling sometimes at a church just having a friend there to hold your hand and tell you find your faith again makes a big difference and so it's nice to have that but in our reality it really boils down to our relationship
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): with him so absolutely and I don't want I want to make sure I don't come across saying never go to church you know somebody's bound to go on the Internet and say oh my god did you hear what he said that's not what I'm saying that's not what lady read that saying we're just saying some churches actually you know preach the whole Bible in full context and others kind of are just like clubs where they caught money and maybe run a soup kitchen but you're not getting it's like the he gets us ads I yeah and I don't want to be negative because they're still a positive but as my friend pastor Sean Todd says on Wham radio there's a lot of modern Christians Matthew 23 Jesus might call them false guides because they only want the peace and love singer sit around the campside singing kumbaya what hug it up they want to ignore all the health love part that are there and are also important right right absolutely so true
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): that is you know and it's interesting I feel like the Bible I mean just the way that a prophesied our day the way that it describes even what you're talking about it's so clear it's such a map for us and it just it's amazing when you truly study it it shows it shows you the way no Christ is the way he just is so it's amazing to see the way that it leads you when you truly study and make it a part of your life and a part of
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): your soul are you strictly kind of there and working on recordings or are
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): you still doing now well at this moment I haven't been doing gigs my husband's been in ill health and we've had some unfortunate situations and so my whole life has kind of been turned upside down over the last couple months and I've just been taking care of him and just doing a lot of praying and a lot of I guess I've been the one this time that's needed to help and the recipient of a lot of service and a lot of love and sometimes that's been a little bit hard for me and very humbling to be you know to need help and to be the one that has to ask for it and ask for prayer right now I am not I have not been doing gigs but I will be doing a lot I've been like I thought I've been I've been writing a lot and things are starting to get better so soon as they're back up I'm gonna be so I'm so full of music I'll bottle up and find me right now so you're
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): getting a lot yeah yeah I hear what you're saying we we prefer to be on the giving end and the offering end not wanting and to feel the need to be on the receiving end of things so I absolutely get what you're saying but indeed we all go through down times in life you certainly pass along to him that might he generically will be added to my thoughts and prayers also thank you I appreciate that a lot as you know I have health issues myself so that's one of the reasons why it started the show is I'm home here all the time otherwise sometimes go on crazy so hey I could do this from the couch right and I like to joke from behind the scenes I'm lifting up my green screen yeah the ugly couch I like to joke I'm not a hoarder but I am a slob the couch is a mess that's why I use a green screen to project an image up so I can hide the ugly well ebbs and flows and I'm trying to rush in a lot of discussions now interviews now because I have to go in for heart valve replacement soon so you know how long that will lead me up I don't know so I want to make sure I have a bunch of things together so that they're ready to go even if I'm kind of laid up I can't do much I hopefully still can hit upload button right what
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): does know when that happens we can all pay for you I appreciate that I've got a
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): heart appointment it's a big your first week of March and this has been an issue since before covid so my body's telling me getting you know short of breath more and in the left arm which can be a sign of a heart attack so it's like my body's telling me you can't put this off anymore and anytime when you go in on a random step even though heart surgery is semi routine now you
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): never know right you never know yeah you never know yeah that's for sure well
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): it's like like the Clint Black right pray for peace prepare for war pray for the best but prepare for again things aren't always gonna be sunshine and
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): lollipops that's where we are right now we're not in the sun can and lollipop
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): yeah I don't remember if it was with you or channelle that I talked about or maybe it was a little Anne Hunt the Laura the Lynn song right I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden right okay yeah so there's gonna be down times and tests a part of life how we handle it are they are they
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): humble us they teach us so many lessons that we otherwise wouldn't learn you get you know you get a whole different perspective on life don't you know it's one thing to see something and feel like you understand what somebody's going through but it's quite frankly a whole different situation when you actually are going through yourself but amazes me that Christ has been through it all so he knows how to take care of all of us because he's experienced all of that and it's just kind of amazes me that he had the strength to do that and so much love
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): to do that so do you recall what and where was your last gig that you did do you even remember I you do so many I am putting you on the spot to try to
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): remember that I did I did some at Christmas time I did a light the world gig where I was doing shows to help with fundraisers it's really great that there's these big they're they're like vending machines but you just can pick out different things to donate to different charities so all these charities come together and then I was singing it I was singing at that around Christmas time to help bring in crowd the people so that they would donate and then also and right before that I did a couple of a lot like just different things are more local in December so I was still playing up until the end of December when it all started and that's good of course obviously
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): Christmas time is the time that more people are thinking about the need to be generous to others and major part of our biblical community is to indeed even no matter how bad we have it is there something we could cough up at least for those like I always say when people ask how am I doing could be better could be worse right there's a whole lot people have it far worse off and is there still something even though I'm hurting is there still something I can do to help
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): yeah that's such a great attitude not really is and you know it's been amazing because there are just so many good people in this world I feel like sometimes you know when we get caught up in the news when we get caught up on some of the crazy stuff that's going on with social media it starts feeling like maybe that there's just a lot of you know people that aren't so good and you know we're a few in numbers but it's not true there's so many good people out there that with good hearts or you know want to help others want to do good want to do everything they can to help somebody there's just so many as the saying goes
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): about the news if it bleeds it leads right are you familiar with the Anne Marie song a little good news today yeah I know I know a little bit about you know somebody robs a liquor store this that the other thing we sure could use a little good news today it's like maybe you could look into doing a cover of that that was really that tune need to come back now really indeed there is as you said a lot of good going on out there but it doesn't get the coverage
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): no it doesn't and it's really too bad because with everybody's spirit it would help strengthen our fault to hear those stories exactly rather than indeed being
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): beaten down all the time with the negativity yeah that's where tunes like you do child of God and now the covering amazing grace can give us that outlet of uplift that we need yeah yeah and that's that was really one of the
LADY REDNECK (STEPHANIE LEE): reasons that I even switch to Christian music well my heart shifted I just had the feeling like I needed to do it and I but even then I remember just thinking and having this feeling like there was a lot of darkness in this world and I just want to bring light I want to bring more light I want to bring goodness and you know that's an important thing there's a lot of people hurting yeah yeah
JOSEPH M LENARD (HOST): yeah which which is why you gave up your death metal grunge band right exactly all that disturbing kind of stuff you needed to pivot away from for the record for the transcript we're laughing the that was a joke she didn't have a heavy

AN ANTI-CRIME and ANTI-VIOLENCE piece, but if/when push comes to shove that we do have a Right to Defend ourselves from it. To protect and prevent our Communities being Arsoned to the ground by ANTIFA and #BlackLyingMarxist Hitlerian Brown-Shirt thugs.

Only the Left and their constant Race-baiting have the gall to say scenes (that show people of ALL RACES) is somehow Racist as an indictment of Black people? Who are the Racists? They are, if they say crime automatically equals Black people! Meanwhile scuttling #BidenCrimeFamily investigations and still creating major reach (stretching beyond all credulity of those Laws intent) on Statutes to try to charge POTUS45/Trump! Spare us the “What about the Lynching that took place at that Courthouse a hundred years ago” manure that no-one knew about until the Leftists #ENEMEdia desperate for a Talking-Point managed to dig up that History. I guess the Hannah Montana and the Christmas Movie filmed there are now also Racist (just like they tried to deem Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” as somehow Racist). When are Black Americans going to wake up to this pathetic and desperate Race-baiting?!?! Whom, in Poll after Poll show they want more police protection from the runaway and rampant Crime happening due to FASCICRATS weak-on-Crime and other failing policies!!!

Thank you to all that emailed or called CMT or Cable Companies that carry CMT and let them know they would like CMT pulled from their line-up as money will be the only thing they understand. As discussed in the BIDENomics pieces they chase the Woke ESG pennies, we must make then suffer huge dollar loses until they learn to stop pandering to the Cancel Culture manure.

Television:

That’s now Movies, Music, but what about TV? May as well take a pot-shot at that too?!?! I had for decades hoped we’d get a reboot of “The Streets of San Francisco;” like Hawaii Five-O was, and Magnum P.I. was; and while I liked those originals (I did not tune-in for those reboots) but that was long before Newsome, Piglosi, others, have completely destroyed it over these last couple of decades. So, maybe best we can hope for is reboot of Adam-12; though that was set in L.A. which has equally degraded into one of Dante’s layers of Hell, but maybe could be reset into a different City; as a method of bringing traditional values and BACK THE BLUE back; as opposed to all the Trash we’re getting these days (like, sadly, the reboot of Quantum Leap went all WOKE)?!?!?

Now after three-parts total of/for “Movies and Politics (Music and TV tacked on in part 3)” I could go on forever, and probably no surprise to anyone that is a regular reader of mine that at some time in near future I would have a part three (more on Movies, and to pivot to Music and TV) as I now have!

Follow-up to the piece a few weeks back discussion of one of my all-time favorite Directors/Producers Roland Emmerich (and the part 2 “Movies, Snacks, Politics” piece): Many know Toby and/or Noah Emmerich, two of the people involved in/with the great Movie CELLULAR (with Noah Emmerich*, Chris Evans, Jason Statham, William H. Macy, Kim Bassinger, more) I just rented (via my DISHnetwork OnDemand feature (sign-up with my VCD0026116345 referral code for discounts)) to watch again as it is an A+ (remember, when that film came out was just at the time of proliferation of Cell phones with advanced features and therefore absolute genius script at that time). A good “temporary escape from Politics film.” From GOOGLE (about Noah): On television, the native New Yorker was a series regular on BACKWASH and played the despondent Dr. Edwin Jenner in the two-part Season 1 finale of THE WALKING DEAD. Emmerich's brother is film producer Toby Emmerich, but they are not, Emmerich explains, related to Director/Producer Roland Emmerich.
