CTP (S3E152) Your Life Has Seasons And Context Changes Everything
Exploring more of the fascinating intersection of Activism, Community Engagement, Faith / Religion, Human Nature, Politics, Social Issues, and beyond
We share a quick lead-in on why this audio release comes from a prior video exclusive, then we get honest about how messy and normal it is to live with shifting moods. We tie that “complex beings” reality to seasons, context, grief and regret, and a run of original songs about time, loneliness, and hanging on when life feels heavy.
• why some references may be dated due to the release format
• “complex beings” as a framework for mood shifts and inner contradictions
• seasons of life and why context changes meaning
• writing through loss, grief, guilt, and regret
• short, medium, and long goals that can conflict over time
• songs that explore burnout, moral action, loneliness, friendship, and resilience

A Short Story: A Lasting Legacy? book Trailer
Lead-In And Release Context
SPEAKER_00Hello, welcome to another episode of Prostitutionalist Podcast. I am your host, Josephine Leonard. That's L-E-M-A-R-D, it looks French, it's not it's learned without an O. Thank you for tuning in. As Graham Norton used to say on his show, let's get on with the show! Hello, gang, how are you doing? This is a cheat segment. I am recording this as a lead-in to a standard Saturday show that is going to now air through the audio platform 25 Plus of Christitution Podcast. What was formerly a CTP video exclusive that I feel needed to go out as a regular show. So bear that in mind when you recorded video exclusive. It could be from a month ago, it could be from a couple months ago. So bear that in mind when you hear things regarding time frames. It may be from a while ago. So particular references may be a little dated. And this segment of cheat, right? I'm recording it. I'll be using it with several video exclusives during Saturday episodes. Without further ado, let's get out of the show. I just had a long conversation. Well, it wasn't really a conversation, it was a text exchange. And actually, it's 10 15 a.m. Saturday, April the 18th. Also, I I did have a conversation with Phil and Bruce on Air Wham Radio out of Ann Arbor here, the abolitionist roundtable, 9 to 10 a.m., whamradio.com, if you want to look it up. Anyway. And yesterday I was recording with Mitzi and the Let's Talk About It show. Recently, I dropped on video channels. I was on months ago with Gandhi, the Gandhi Slaves program, talking human nature and human condition. So we are complex beings. And yes, at the end of this, I was on the scene. And I created by that title complex beings. I coined in this came up on the medical free. And I didn't mind that We have some personalities that make our day we can be out. Those are two different people. Those are demonic infestation. Medical schizophrenia. We have mood. It's part of the human mood. Like the weather. We need it again, unfortunately. We have seasons. Bible. For all things, there is a season. Turn, turn, turn. Yes. And no, Jesus never contradicted himself. It's humans that screw up the context. Those are contradictory. If in when you understand context, and depending on the season, one applies versus the other plies in another season. So we have mood, we can't write ups and downs. My current book I'm working on, dropping in May, heals in like the Inception movie, which not coincidentally, I talked about the other day. I came to the show. Heals in loss, grief, guilt, regret, the underlying human condition, emotions, there's a whole lot of other complicated imaginative story on top of the inception film, a lot of the facts and whatnot. My book doesn't go into blowing things up and things of that nature, but does indeed also deal with loss, part of life and living. It'll be the fifth in the tinyur.com slash life and living series. Lost, free, regret, and guilt. Some days we might be regretful and feel guilty. Other days we feel great about our lives and the way things are going. And a relationship may be working. Short, medium, and long goals and inspirations and desires and changes. The desires of the now might conflict with what we want from the later. Anyway, alright, I'm gonna end it here. That's all I really wanted to say. I felt it important to say the mixy uh let's talk about a show. Unfortunately, doesn't sound like it's gonna actually release until February of 2027. Uh the Gandhi show, Gandhi Slay, came out months ago, but I didn't think to mention my non-medical schizophrenia during that discussion. But yes, you can find it at my video channels. Gandy was kind enough to give me permission to replay it across my platforms. Anyway, thank you all. Take care. God bless, love you all. Yes. Next, complex beings, my song.
Writing Grief Guilt And Regret
SPEAKER_04Complex beings, yeah, we bend. We break, we move, we got moves, we got ranges, quick flips, strange rearrangements. Season shifting in our skin, quiet storms behind a grin. One word whole day changes. Heart rewrites its own pages. We're just complex beings, that's what we are. Puzzle piece, hearts, little bites, size scars. We got ups, we got downs, still we stick around on a dime. We can turn and turn it all around. Complex beings, tangled and true. Half of me running, half running. Do you complicate it? Yeah, the book spells out the reasons. But I love you through the chapters and the season. You're a sunrise, you're a shutdown, you're a soft laugh, and a letdown. You go quiet and you're singin'. Every mood, every shade still clingin'. I'm a question and your doorway. You're an answer said the long way. Both hands full of tiny treasons. Still we stay, still we stay through the reasons. We're just complex beings, that's what we are. Puzzle piece, hearts, little bites, size scars. We got ups, we got downs, till we stick around on a dime. We can turn it, turn it all around. Complex beings, tangled and true.
SPEAKER_06Half of me running, half running. Do you complicate it? Yeah, the book spells out the reasons. But I love you through the chapters and the seasons. Complex beings. We have moods, we have arranges, seasons and changes.
SPEAKER_04We have ups and downs on a dime can turn it around. Complicated the book spells out some of the reasons. Complex beings. We got moods, we got ranges, little storms and articles, whole climates, seasons and changes.
Song Complex Beings
When Doing Nothing Enables Evil
SPEAKER_06We go quiet, we go wild, we go tender, then tough. One word, one look, one moment can be away to merge. We're just complex beings, breathing, tryna make some meeting. From all these turns and twists inside, we fall apart, then realign. We're just complex BS, reaching hearts, cracking open healing. We got ups and downs on a dime, can turn it around. Oh, some days I'm the hero, some days I'm the doubt. I'm the riddle and the rumor, and I'm still working it out. Complicated like the book spells out some of the reasons. Every chapter, every scar, every quiet little treason. So if I change in the middle of a sentence, if I laugh when I'm breaking down, that's just all my different versions showing up better ones right now. Hey, we're just complex beings, breathing, tryna make some meatin' from all these turns and twists. It's time we fall apart. Then realize we're just complex beings, reaching hearts, cracking open, healing. We got ups and downs on a dime, can turn it around. On a dime can turn it around. Oh only thing necessary for evil prevail. What they say, good peoples do nothing, doing nothing, stayed with most today. The world keeps turning, a dark, strange place. Good folks are yearning for a saving grace. The ship has sailed, they say, on a troubled tide. But what do you do today with nowhere to hide? Questions I've been asking all my writing to watch your move. Just what about is it? You're willing to try to do Evil Prevent. We could just Light stop. Why are you doing that? How do you take a bite? Los it's great. You already know what's true if you breathe and you're required. And so with your life, every minute that you're given takes a side.
SPEAKER_02Hectic living. We went from brother, can you spare a dime?
Loneliness And Wanting One Friend
SPEAKER_06Nowadays, brother. Can you spare some time? Fair space, hectic days. Get it quick, need to slow it down. We lost and need to be found. Can we turn it around? We went from red lines to deadline. From brother, can you spare time? Brother, can you spare some time? Slow it down. Oh, this gold can buy solid ground. Fast paced hearts skip every time. Losing ground. Brother, can you spare some time? Scream go midnight. I still wake. Chasing every little fire. The hot chocolate scone cold. The kids are grown and we missed it. Scrolling on our phone. Oh, this gold can't buy solid ground. Fast-paced hearts, skip in every sign. We're losing ground. Brother, can you spare some time? Maybe trade is a rush for a walk round the block, talk like we lose the talk. Just to help slow it down. All this gold can't buy solid ground. Fast paced hearts get every sign we're losing ground.
SPEAKER_03Brother, can you spare some time?
Hold On It Can Turn Around
SPEAKER_05I got no friends. None even on the line. Not even any exist. In my head. Not like I don't try. But I can't seem to find. Every door stays shut. Every name fades out. Walk around with the heavy head. But the room stays bad. No boisters in the all. No monsters on the wall. Don't get it. Walking around with the breaching out the room stays better. If you see me slip, don't call me cold. I'm just running on a borrowed hold. Give me one small sign, one real reply. I don't need a crowd, just one that's mine.
SPEAKER_06I'm all quiet in my head. Yes, no, not even online. Also there I like just silence upstairs instead. I keep it all in.
SPEAKER_05I keep it all in. Hello. It's a beautiful day to say you're a friend. Won't you be my friend?
SPEAKER_04Neighbor, life has its ups and downs, like a tilted work and spin us around. Life like an amusement park, but not always too amusing.
SPEAKER_06Ups, downs, happy and sad, cycles and season. Sometimes lost, others feel found. Hold on, don't let go now. It can turn around. It can turn around. Down in the ground. It can turn around. It can turn around. You feel lost? You can't be found. Morning comes in pieces. Then the day leans hard. One foot in the dust. One hand on the bars. Some days break you open. Some days let you breathe. Still the wheel keeps moving. Still you have believe. Hold on. Don't let go. It can turn around. Oh, it can turn around. Down in the ground. Oh, it can turn around. Oh, it can turn around. Oh if you feel lost, you can be found. Season after season we learn to ride. Every fall can teach us how to climb. So when the wall gets heavy, hear me now.
SPEAKER_03What spins you down today can turn around It can turn around.
Could Be Better Could Be Worse
SPEAKER_06It can turn around Up into the sky. Life has its ups and downs. Like a tilt a world can spin us around life, life like an amusement park, but not always too amusing. Ups, downs, happy cycles and season. Sometimes lost, others feel found.
SPEAKER_02Another day, another ground.
SPEAKER_06Coffee steaming got my thoughts tangled up in tangled knots, spinning around and around.
SPEAKER_02No solid ground.
SPEAKER_06Could be better, could be worse. That's my motto, that's my verse. Could be better, could be worse. Life's a wild and crazy curse. Could be better, could be worse.
SPEAKER_02Just gotta roll with it. Disperse.
SPEAKER_06Traffic jamming on the street, sweaty palms and aching feet. Head up in the clouds. Lost in the crowd. Could be better, could be a worse. That's my motto, that's my verse. Could be better, could be a worse. Life's a wild and crazy curse. Could be better, could be a worse. Just gotta roll with it. Disperse. The same rain on the same monster. Bills in the bag hole in my shoes.
SPEAKER_01Still got a pole, still got you. Could be better. Could be worse. I read that line like a prayer, like a curse.
SPEAKER_06Could be bad, could be a worse. Chapter and verse. Chapter and verse, could be bad, could be a worse. That's the way it works. Yeah. If I'm bad, I'm still here. If I'm bruised, I still still could be bad, could be a worse. Chapter and verse. Chapter and verse.
SPEAKER_01Mama said, son, don't count the scars. Count the hands that can't read you this far. One bad turn, one lucky break. One deep breath, one more day awake. Could be better. Could be worse. I keep that line in my coat, in my purse.

SPEAKER_06Could be better, could be a worse. Chapter inverse. Chapter in verse. Could be better, could be a worse. That's the way it works. If I'm bent, I'm still here. If I'm bruised, I still steer. Could be better, could be a worse. Chapter inverse. I've seen the door stay shut. I've seen it swing. Why? Same hand on the handle. Same fear inside. So I laugh with the lead. I don't bow to the bed. I'm not at the end. I'm just here again. Could be bad, could be worse. Shopper in verse.
unknownShop and verse.
SPEAKER_06Could be bad, could be worse. That's the way it works. If I'm bad, I'm still here. If I'm bruised, I still steer. Could be bad, could be worse, shopper inverse.
SPEAKER_03Could be better, could be worse. Could be better, could be worse.
