Choosing a high school pathway is a big milestone, and Passport to High School is designed to help students and families take that next step with confidence. In this episode of TCISD Talks, we’re joined by Jodi Douglas, Director of Career and Technical Education, and Mary Goldner, Director of Fine Arts, to give families a preview of what to expect at this exciting event.
Listeners will learn how Passport to High School allows 8th grade students to explore hands-on CTE programs, experience Fine Arts performances, and connect directly with teachers and programs from La Marque High School and Texas City High School. The event is open to all 8th grade students, even those not currently enrolled in TCISD, making it a great opportunity to see what our district has to offer.
📍 Passport to High School takes place Jan. 28 from 5–8 p.m. at the Doyle Convention Center, and you won’t want to miss it!
