SPEAKER_03What up, what up, man? Your boys is back, man. After a little hiatus, you know what I mean? But we back. It's football season. We're going into the month of August. Very, very strong. We're going to talk a little sports towards the ending of the podcast. But let's start off with the prediction that I made, bro. Yeah, you called it. LeBron James in Philadelphia. Now you might be saying, you guys are a little late. Look, we was doing other shit. We didn't have a chance to convene to the podcast.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03And now we're moving at our own pace now. It used to be a day we could be here every day. Right. We could have had it. But nevertheless, hope you guys enjoy it wherever you're listening. But LeBron lands in Philadelphia. And I was actually in the middle of like watching a basketball game. And I seen, because I've been seeing shit for the last two weeks of LeBron in Philly, but it was unverified sources. Yeah. Once Adam Shafter put it out, I was telling people, and it was crazy. I had like a I was in Virginia, I had a Philadelphia shirt, and everybody coming up to me, yo, LeBron, and people talking to me, like Reps's Eagles fans and shit coming to me and shit like that. And it's a beautiful moment for the city of Philadelphia. Does it guarantee a Super Bowl? Absolutely not. Or a championship?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely not. But you're talking about one of the most polarizing, one of the top two or three basketball players ever ending his career in Philadelphia. Sam Ant, how do you feel about it?
SPEAKER_04As a basketball fan, I'm excited for it because it's going to bring another level of competition. He's close to the area. I'm not a Sixers fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I also don't hate the Sixers. I'm not one of the people that are voting against the Sixers, not at all. So for him to be in the city, the first thing I thought about was, damn, well, I'm about to get the family some tickets. I'm gonna go see LeBron play. Am I the biggest LeBron fan? No, I'm not. I'm not. But at the same time, I am a fan of history. I'm a fan of basketball history and I'm a fan of what he's doing. 42 years old to still be able to run around and do what he's doing at a high level. Man, I commend that shit. And no one can argue the fact that LeBron James on the Sixers now, with the talent that they have, him being damn near the fourth option on that team, they are the on paper, odds on favorite to get into the NBA championship in the East. Now, will the Knicks have something to say about that? I'm sure they will. And other teams have something to say about that? I'm sure they will. Would he have been dope going back to Cleveland? I think that would have been dope as well. But for him to land in Philly, for that to be so close to the area, I seen people, realtors, kind of saying the cat's out the back. He bought a crib in Jersey and shit like that. So, man, it's an exciting time for basketball for him to end his career there. I know a lot of people are talking about legacy and does this ruin his legacy? It doesn't change anything as far as I'm concerned with his legacy. I wasn't happy when he was jumping teams and doing the super teams 10, 15 years ago. So this doesn't change anything to me. The pressure's on. The pressure's on LeBron, the pressure's on the Sixers to get it done. I think the pressure's on Embiid to stay healthy and get the job done because I don't think there's ever been a track to the NBA championship as clear for the Sixers as it is right now, man. So I'm excited. It's a fun situation for basketball fans, man, and we'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and it's gonna, you know, just like this is gonna get you people back invested in Sixers basketball. If they weren't already, bringing Jalen Brown was huge, but this is like, you know, ticket price is already starting to go crazy. Now, you know, the arena's gonna be packed, sold out, all sold out. Yeah, you know, maybe they won't let the Knicks overrun us no more, but you know, we'll see, man. It's one of those things where it's kind of like you're putting a super team together, but like you said, LeBron don't have to be, he's not the number one no more. He could be three, four, maybe even five on some nights. And, you know, it's just a lot of death. I truly, you know, anticipate Tyrese Maxie, Jalen Brown, you know, the offense going through them. Obviously, Edgecombe doing his thing, and we just need Embiid just to play his role. You know, he can obviously sit out because LeBron can go to center. He still goes all five, right? He can still do all five. So it's like, yeah, I mean, yeah, I think they should be top three because look, other teams will have something to say about Oklahoma City. Yeah. If they make it, you know, the Knicks, maybe even the Cavaliers, Pistons, other teams are gonna be out there, you know, trying to knock them boys off. But I'm excited to, this is the most excited I've been, probably, since Iverson's been around.
SPEAKER_04Without question. You know what I mean? Easily. Yeah. So it's the biggest star since Iverson has been in the city. And I mean, Iverson, that energy will never replicate the Iverson energy because that's a homegrown talent who took a team of rag tag motherfucking Misfits to the NBA Finals. He was the nigga.
SPEAKER_01Myron Hill. I got it.
SPEAKER_04Oh, don't believe that shit. These are great names, but oh, don't believe that shit, man. Iverson, man, put that team on his back like no other athlete ever has in any type of sport, man. But they don't got to do that this year. You know what I mean? The Sixers are loaded with talent. Like I said, on paper, they should be the odds on a favor to at least get to the finals. What they do with the West will remain to be seen. But that, that, that Sixers next rivalry that we should hopefully see throughout the season and in the playoffs. Because I think honestly, I mean, right now it's early, but these two teams are probably on the fast track to have a collision course somewhere in the playoffs, and they'll be battling it out all year, man. And that just makes it exciting. On top of the fact, and this is kind of low-key, but also kind of important. We ain't gotta, if you if you were a big fan of LeBron James, you ain't gotta wait till 11, 12 o'clock at night to go watch a game on the East Coast and the West Coast till 3 o'clock. That shit gonna be on at 7 o'clock. Yeah. You know what I mean? Ready to roll. So it's fun time for basketball, man. I'm excited. And uh, shout out to Josh Harris, owner of the Commanders, you know what I mean, doing his thing with the Sixers, man, bringing in some real talent to compete for championships.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, yeah, definitely, man. He got a bad rap over the last few years, but you know, you brought it a new manager, GM, and you know, he's making fucking moves. Yeah. You know what I mean? So that's dope. So over the weekend, man, uh, I know you guys probably seen it, but we're gonna talk about it here. Diddy got into a little scuffle out there in Fort Dix. It was a video going around on the internet and all of that. Um now, this, from my understanding, could mess with his release date, depending on if, you know, what they find, because they got to do an investigation and all of that. Thoughts on that, man, real quick.
SPEAKER_04You know, one of my favorite comedians, friend of the program, Alice Diek. And I mean, he um I remember him talking on one of his comedy shows about how he had got a letter, he got his time, his time released, like he knew when he was gonna be released. And one of the toughest things as an inmate is knowing when you're gonna get released. Because one, you gotta kind of keep it under wraps, and two, any little thing that can fuck with you can ultimately put your time and set you back and keep you in there for a few more years, and nobody wants that. And Diddy being as high of profile person as he is, you know what I mean? It's almost impossible to kind of keep those type of things secret. So don't know what happened to ends and outs, but I'm sure somebody went in there fucking with him, you know what I mean, and messing with him. And Diddy had to do what Diddy felt that was though he had to do, but at the same time, hopefully it doesn't cost him some extra time because I think it was ridiculous that he's sitting up in there for being a weirdo freak as it is. And I'm not, like I said, well, and we've been talked about this till we were blue in the face years ago. It's dead news at this point. No, he shouldn't have hit Cassie. No, he should have put his hands on Cassie. Don't listen to buying the comments, running their mouth about that shit. This man deserved some time now. You know what I mean? He should be able to get out once it's time to release, and hopefully this doesn't set him back, man. But that's a dangerous game to be in when you know your release date and you got motherfuckers on, you a target. You know what I mean? And and Diddy was probably a target. And again, hopefully it don't cost him some time, but Diddy's old ass scrapping the four dicks is crazy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and it's like that's a situation where you gotta just try to walk away from it. Yeah. If possible, unless somebody smacks you in your face, right? I'll punch on you. Man, I'm not getting into nothing. Nothing. And I'm kind of surprised that some of the some of his boys didn't, you know what I mean, didn't step in. Because I already heard like they they they they protecting him in there with a lot of different things. There, um, look at look, Elijah Bellamy, his son arrested. But yeah, we talked about that. But yeah, man, so I heard they were protecting Diddy in there, like not letting him get on like different contraband phones. And they they're looking out for him in there because you know, he was the New York guys and all of that. And obviously, I mean, this guy's a multi damn near billionaire, millionaire for sure. I've developed a friendship. When you get out, he get out, you know what I mean. Y'all still keep that friendship. Might be good. That is what it is, man. I can't wait to see the stories are gonna come out of the people that were in. I was in there with Diddy. The people that's gonna be sitting down. How was he like? Did he have baby oil? You know that's coming.
SPEAKER_04You know, it's gonna be a few of them writing books and shit. Emailing you every five minutes and shit. I'm like, man, I've flagged this fucking email and I still get him. Like, how the hell is this possible, bro?
SPEAKER_03And you got a nerve to try to ask us to pay you?
SPEAKER_04Oh my god.

SPEAKER_04He won't be the only one, but yeah, man. Hopefully, hopefully he can make that out. All right, but keep your head up, man. And hopefully, some of them dudes that protecting you, they could take that next time, man. Keep your name out of the news, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, all right. So somebody who keeps his name in the news is Charleston White. Over the weekend, he put out a video of him allegedly, supposedly being shot at. I mean, I guess he was with some of Jay Prince's people. The backstory is he was telling they were trying to get him to apologize. He didn't apologize. He was driving off, and you heard like a pop, and you know, the guy, I don't know it wasn't a gunshot. Yeah, that was a gunshot. And I was like, my my thinking is if they wanted to shoot, they would have shot you right there. Yeah. They ain't gonna wait till you pulled off, whatever the case. But you know how people are. If they want you, they're gonna get you. Well, Jay Prince did respond, he put, never allow a maggot to draw you down to his level. A maggot will always beat you at being a maggot. Eventually, maggots become flies, eating shit, agitating others, spreading contamination until the last days. I'll live with roaches, rats, and flies most of my life, all trying to eat off my plate. Eventually, the universe rewarded them all. And no weapon formed against me shall prosper. So all the human rats, roaches, and flies who keep campaigning, eventually you'll be elected. Congratulations. J Principles. How you take that? Nigga, man, shit. That's a I ain't gonna say it. That's a DT. That's what I'm gonna say.
SPEAKER_04Man, so let me talk about Charleston White real quick. You you bring that type of energy, you ask for that type of energy, you get those type of results. And we've been saying that for years. Like, I don't care how protected you feel like you are, I don't care how popular you are on the internet, I don't care how many guns you display, I don't care how many times you say or threaten to call the police and people know you as this. Eventually, if somebody wants you, they're going to get you. And not all content is good content, not all content is healthy content, and and who are we to say that? You know what I'm saying? We're sitting here chilling, that man's making $20,000, $30, $30,000 whenever it's sitting there doing things. He's probably making handover, fist, and money, so he doesn't care about what's being projected out there. Um, it's funny that he was once looked at as somebody that was doing satire work, and this was ultimately something to kind of bring attention to his real calls, and we've clearly seen over the last few years his real calls is to have attention on the fucking internet and make money from having attention on the internet. And like you said, if they if somebody, and I'm not even gonna allege who, if somebody wanted him, if somebody wanted to shoot at him in their city, they could have did it. They could have done it.
SPEAKER_03They would have emptied in right there.
SPEAKER_04He'd have been gone. Right. You know what I mean? And it would have been what it was. Now, Jay Prince, somebody that I have a ton of respect for, always had a ton of respect for. And one of my favorite lines that he always says is if you campaign it eventually, you're gonna get elected. I'm that's so fucking true. You're out here campaigning for something, eventually you're gonna get picked. Now, whether or not you're ready for that, we'll see. But one thing I've given criticism to Jay Prince over the last few years is that I've seen him way too much on the internet. This was a person that's mystique and his aura was breaded off of silence.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And how he moved was silent, you know what I mean? And there was power behind that. And this uh uh this internet shit has kind of made even your favorite people kind of go against their grain and run their mouth on the internet. And although he wasn't on there with his face and all that running his mouth on the internet, I'd rather him have said nothing. Yep. Absolutely nothing. Let Charleston White do what Charleston White do. Don't be influenced, don't put a don't let him put a batter in your back and make you feel like you have to respond to any fucking thing. Because as poetic and prophetic as that was, clearly we you and I both took that the same way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and you feeding the fire. And you feeding the fire. And like you're giving a man exactly what he wants. Don't say nothing. Send a message in another way if you're gonna do it. You know, but he said he was going to the feds and all of this, and you know, I was in your hood, I was in your hood. Again, we already kind of seen, we talked about this years ago, where we see this kind of going. I don't wish it on the brother because I know at the end of the day, he's just a character and he's making his money and he has his family and all of that. But when you continue to agitate people, when you continue to muster up or conjure up, I should say, this type of uh volatile atmosphere around you, don't be surprised now when you get exactly what you're asking for. And like you said, sometimes you you can run, you can hide. There's always somebody that got an eye on you, you don't see him. Right? I'm driving up and down there's different streets, and I see people all the time in tents. I'm like, if I wanted to get somebody, oh my God. Got you. I've got you. Yep. And that's that goes, that's the same rules for everybody. People can find you if you own property. Like you can be found if you wanted to be found. So security, they're not getting in the way of no shit. You think they're gonna take a bullet or something like that for somebody? Hell no.
SPEAKER_04It ain't bulletproof either.
SPEAKER_03It ain't bulletproof, they should have gone right through them.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_03So that's why I never kind of agree with that energy of you know, disrespecting. I don't like disrespecting people, period. Unless you disrespect me. Right. I'm a respectful man. That's how we were growed up, brought up. Yes, no, sir, appreciate it. Unless you come me with disrespect, you're not gonna get disrespect from me. Not to make money, not to be a character, I'm just gonna be me. Yeah, I ain't gotta like if I find another way to make money, if that's the way I gotta make money. Exactly. You know what I mean? Like, no. So, yeah, man. I hope it just don't end bad for this brother, man. Because that that's one of those things where it's like, all right, this happened, this happened. Next thing you know, it could be, ah, damn. Damn.
SPEAKER_04What worries me about it, and I don't want to put this energy out here, but I gotta say it, is that this man has talked about people's families, he's talked about people's children, he's talking about deceased people, and now he's starting to slowly introduce people to his family and show his son and show his daughter and show his life. And these people have absolutely nothing to do with the bullshit and the antics that he's putting on, but somebody is going to see that and look at them as a target because that, okay, they may not be able to hurt you, but let me go hurt one of yours and then let me go shit on them on the internet because this is exactly what you do. Yeah. And that's I don't want to see that happen. That's why I don't put my kids on the internet. That's why I don't display my family because I don't want anybody's negative energy to try to go and leak into them because now you're gonna see an entirely different animal. Oh, yeah. And fuck cameras, fuck internet, and all that. It's it's totally different.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So for him to play, he's playing a very dangerous game for not only himself, but the people that he genuinely cares about. And that's what I don't want to see.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. For sure, man. So we'll see. We'll keep you updated on how that goes. That happened a few days ago. Yeah. But it's still very hot, you know, in the presses. But this is what you see with this man. You'll see like a podcast, a week, it's a fight. A lot of the stuff is staged to keep attention and keep people talking about it. He's done a good job of it. We're talking about it. Yeah, you know, again, but hopefully we're not talking about him for the last time, one time.

SPEAKER_04Yeah, exactly. But we will when it if it happens, but we don't want to.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we definitely, definitely. Um YG. He did the verses with game. I'm sure you probably didn't see it. I heard about it, but I didn't see it. I I heard I I seen clips of it, not a lot, and it looked like they was more like they was, you know what I mean? It was respectful. Yeah, doing it. Yeah, yeah. There was a lot of red in the building. Cause I think they both bloods, if I'm not mistaken.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But a day before that he was picked up, the tane arrested. He is being suspected of stabbing Drakeo the ruler back in 2021. I don't know if you heard about this. And, you know, there's a if not mistaken, Drakeo security is pretty much saying that he's seen him with a knife and he's seen him commit the act. Now the cops ran into his crib the other day, detained him, collected evidence. He is the suspect, the main suspect number one in the murder, alleged murder. You know what I mean? Well, he did die, but you know, I don't know if you know why G really did it, but he's the suspect number one, you know, in that that murder, bro. So I ain't know he had nothing to do with it. Yeah. Allegedly, yeah. Very, very shocking. Very I remember we reported on it back when this happened in 2021. But man, what's your thoughts on that one?
SPEAKER_04See, it's it's odd because it seems like a situation like this where there's a murder, and and you you talk about he might have stabbed him, it just seems like that type of information, that type of evidence one would want to be collected a lot sooner than five years later.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? So that the timing of it kind of just throws me off. I don't think it had anything to do with him about to perform with other verses with game or anything like that, but the timing's just very coincidental on top of the fact that why'd it take so long for them to go ahead and detain him. And if he if he did kill him, right, if was it with a knife, like how what do you think you was about to walk in this man's house five years later and find that knife? Or find evidence? Like for me, just kind of looking on the outside looking in is it's very odd and very strange to me. I want to see more information, what else comes out because it just shit ain't adding up to me. Like it just it's not I'm not saying it didn't have beef. I'm not saying he wasn't involved, I'm not saying that he might have stabbed or whatever the case may be. I'm saying from a law enforcement perspective, why take so goddamn long? Like you it took this long to find a suspect, it took this long for Drake O security to say, oh yeah, they seen YG with a knife. It's just the timing of it is just very odd to me, man. But what you're doing. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I kind of feel like this is why these murder cases, they never shut. Yeah. Because they're always, sometimes they go cold. Sometimes, you know, but I've seen videos where 40 years later, people get picked up. You know, they may have gone to another state, changed their name. I was just one video where this guy got away for mad long. And it was certain places where he kept getting away with it because if your license was revoked, they didn't lock you up and fingerprint you. But he was in one particular state. I think it was like South Carolina, where that if your license was revoked or whatever the case may be, they lock you up. And he knew he was gone. If they got his fingerprints, he was done, he was done. He done changed his life, changed his name. He's a Salam now, you know, took the Shahada. They came back and popped that like 27 years later. I'll see that video later. He could change, he was, he was fucked up. Like, I gotta go to jail. Like, please, please, because he knew.
SPEAKER_04He knew.
SPEAKER_03So I'm saying that all to say that you never know. It does seem odd. I agree with you. Like all that time, but you never know what could have happened in that time. You know, what they found, what they what was revealed in the time, because the case is always open. They're always taking tips, you know what I mean. But uh is it probably stronger for YG to probably beat it, probably, because so much time went past, as opposed to them, you know, right then in the scene. We got, all right, he's the suspect. We got so-and-so witnesses said he did it. We found a knife or whatever the case may be. Right. You know, we'll see, man. Um surveillance, it seems all right, ain't gonna lie. It seems it's like five years.
SPEAKER_04So we shall see. We shall see. I'm leaning toward YG getting off because of the time. I could be completely wrong. Right. You know what I mean? And I don't have a I don't have a horse in the race. If he did it, he fucking did it. You know what I mean? Somebody died. So I'm not trying to absolve him for any type of murder or anything like that, but I just the timing of it just like wow. He it definitely is on his side because I think a defense team could kind of cut that up. Unless there's some indisputable evidence that they found that points him to the situation, and I mean we shall see, but it's odd all the way around.
SPEAKER_03And I've seen uh DJ Academics was talking about it. He says allegedly they're preparing a Rico case. Oh shit. For YG.
SPEAKER_04It ain't hard. Nah, it ain't. Not hard. It's not you affiliate if you if you are a known affiliate of whatever, you know what I mean, and you are said leader or you are a leader type or you got a group of people that look out for you, that's it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and they don't have to always be a murder. It ain't always gotta be drugs, it could be credit cards if it's on a high enough level. Any any organized crime, you could be running numbers, sports betting, anything that's not under the parameters, you know, of legality or legal, and you're doing it and you're not reporting taxes and it's criminal, they can hit you with the Rico.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_03Especially, you know, bloods and crips has always been the target of Rico's. Yep. I mean, look, big you. You know what I'm saying? Yep. So yeah, I mean, they they, you know, and one thing these guys gotta understand is that you're constantly under surveillance, you're constantly being scrutinized, you're constantly being watched, especially when you're in a higher profile like that. But especially as soon as you announce your allegiance to a gang, oh, they're watching you.
SPEAKER_04They're on your ass.
SPEAKER_03They're on you. Yep. The same thing. Look with Dirk. Yep. Look with Thug. Yep. We can go down the list of people. Uh, even AR Ab, which was a pseudo-gang because the OBH, they will call themselves not a gang, but they're gonna crack categorize you as a game because you got synonyms, you know what I mean? The OBH, and you know, you're allegedly committing crime together as the Rico. So it's really that simple. It sounds, it says it sucks for people, but it's that simple. If they want to do it, they can do it. They're the highest law on the land.
SPEAKER_04Let's talk about the verses real quick, because I know you didn't see it. I really didn't see it, but I don't know if you heard, but a consensus from what everybody I've been hearing is saying, they said YG watched game. What? Washed him. Wow.
SPEAKER_03Yo, Game, I don't know, it's shocking to me, bro. He looked off on that joint or something, man.
SPEAKER_04Well, he necked a whole bottle of Patron or some henny or something. He was he was drunk off his ass. And what we what we say about the verse, there's no way the game should walk in there with the catalog he has and they didn't, it wasn't a versa further, but lose that battle to YG based off of his catalog alone. And I have not heard one person, oh, who would watch that battle say game won that shit. Everybody saying YG. And these are people that I respect, their hip hop minds, I respect, cleaned his ass up. I can't believe it.
SPEAKER_03I can't believe it either. So it's full. So WAC 100, when you was coming with your conspiracy, right? Your conspiracy that they was gonna try to make him the winner. He won. That's like if we if we like you got a conspiracy, you're Game that a team, whatever's gonna happen, but they bust your fucking ass. Ain't no conspiracy. They whooped your ass. Your man didn't perform. It wasn't like it was close, and you know, nah, your man got his so-called ass busted, as they say. You know what I mean? So I I don't know, man. I wow.

And it was supposedly a post that Wack 100 put up that said it was the best $10,000 ever spent, and that immediately after that, his YouTube page was deleted. And he's suing Wack for I think $75,000 or $100,000 in damages. I thought that was kind of crazy.

You thought it was a lot of talent, but it was really like some holes at real big key positions. You know what I'm saying? And but people still though think the defense should have been a little better with the defensive-minded head coach. What's your what's your you know response to that criticism?
SPEAKER_04People gotta pay more attention to what's going on. And I know that these are national pundits and things like that that aren't intimately involved within the organization, so they don't know. Dan Quinn was a he did Dan Quinn is a defensive-minded head coach, but Dan Quinn was not running the defense. He had Joe Witt Jr. running the defense, and Joe Witt Jr. did a very fucking bad job. Period. Now, was that on Dan Quinn's watch? Of course it is. Does that fall on Dan Quinn? Yeah, of course it does. Why? Because he hired him, he put the faith in him to run that defense, and he wasn't successful in doing so. A lot of people said Dan Quinn should have taken over the defense sooner. He didn't want to do so. He was running and managing the team. He hired somebody to do the defense. He did a bad job. Again, that falls on Dan Quinn. But it wasn't Dan Quinn running the defense, and he's a defensive minded head coach, and it was going that bad. No, it wasn't that at all. And now you got people saying that Dan Quinn's running a defense again, but no, he hired a young mind in Durante Jones, and a lot of people are getting this brother's name wrong. They don't even know who he is, who's currently running the defense. This isn't a Dan Quinn scheme. This isn't a Dan Quinn ran defense, but because he's such a defensive-minded coach, he has such success in Seattle, he has such success in Dallas being a defensive coordinator that they want to automatically throw that on him. Look, again, if the defense fails this year, that falls on Dan Quinn. But not only if the defense fails, if the offense fails, it falls on Dan Quinn because he's the head coach of the team. He hired two young, innovative minds to go in there. A risk, a huge risk going into a third year where people are already talking about you on a hot seat and all this shit. So he took a risk. I like the risk personally. If it crashes and burns, I'm not going to criticize him for the risk because I'm cool with it. I'm cool with it now. I'm going to be cool with it whether it takes us to the Super Bowl or takes us to three wins. I'm cool with the decision. Whether that costs him his job or not, hopefully it doesn't, because hopefully these minds that he put in there can do the thing. Adam Peters put a ton of talent, way more talent than they've had the last two years, defensively and offensively. So we'll see, man. I think that is real low-hanging fruit to say that Dan Quinn is on the hot seat when we had a five-win season last year, and that's unacceptable. Can't go back out there and do that. But he's also a coach that took a franchise that hasn't been any fucking wear since 1992 to an NFC championship game in his first year with far less talent, man. He's he's an innovator. And what I mean by innovator is he knows how to cultivate relationships. Everybody loves him. He's somebody that anybody wants to play for. He's an incredible leader, and I think he's going to do a great job this year, man. I don't really give him that much criticism when it comes to how the defense played. I just kind of put it on him because he was the head honcho, man. So we'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. That's a good uh Will Shabake's concerns about this year, man. Like gaping holes, concerns, offensive scheme, offensive, you know, coordinator with no experience, little to no experience, I should say.
SPEAKER_04Calling plays and I feel good about him. I feel real good about him. My biggest concern is corner, the secondary. You got uh, what you call him? Trey Amos, right? Trey Amos is on a uh physically unable to perform with starting out the season.

SPEAKER_04But that's like a three, four-month injury. He just a broken bone. He should have been back. He's not back yet. I'm a little disappointed in him not being back yet. It's not, I'm not concerned yet because we're still early in camp, but the further it goes on, the further this lingers, the more I am concerned. Because when you look at the backup depth behind him, I mean we got we got Trey, we got Mikey, we got Ameek. Smaller corners in a meek and Trey, right? Where they're gonna end up, will Trey be in the slot? Will Mikey be in the slot? Will Ameek be in the slot? We don't know who that boundary corner is. We grab what's Seul Douglas, who I thought was great depth, but now if he's in there supposed to be taking over for Trey Amos, we're in trouble. He's full, right? So we don't have much as far as the cornerback room. I like our safeties, even though depth is kind of thin at safety as well. I would like to like to bring in another safety. I know they were looking at Mansor Delane. I know they were looking at some other cornerbacks in the draft and things like that. So cornerback was obviously an issue. I know a lot of people are crazy about the wide receiver two positions who's gonna be wide receiver two is gonna be wide receiver two. Listen, we got a lot of weapons still, and wide receiver two is very important, but to me, I think then bound deck, that cornerback room is probably the most concerning to me based off of this trade Amos news that we got a couple days ago and based off our depth. Now, Durante Jones scheme, a lot of what Brian Flores did kind of took a lot of pressure off the cornerbacks because we came with such a he came with such a crazy rush package and you didn't know where things were coming from where the cornerbacks can kind of sit there and just react to the ball as opposed to being on their heels. So hopefully Durante could bring some of that in there and take some pressure off the corners. But right now, if you ask me right now, the cornerback room is probably my most concerning this year.
SPEAKER_03That's kind of yeah, yeah. I would say that. And second for me would be wide receiver, you know, because if you take Terry out, who else? Now you did get Chig a conquo. If he could play big, I think that's gonna help.
SPEAKER_04That's a tight end, though. It's not a wide receiver, so but it's a weapon. Oh no, it's a weapon nonetheless. What I'm trying to say is if Terry's out, oh my god, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And do Chig is not gonna be at a tight end, gonna be able to do what he has to do. We gotta have, we gotta have it, we gotta have Terry in there for Chig to be able to eat the way he wants to.

If not, I'm cool with it bringing in the digs, even with all that baggage, because at the end of the day, I want a wide receiver too, and that motherfucker can go out there. And if Terry were to get hurt, Stefan Diggs can fill that gap for a couple weeks while Terry was coming back, man. So I don't know. I think we need a wide receiver too. I'm not as bullish on it as I am corner because even though offensively last year we struggled, even though Jaden was hurt, offensively was offensive wasn't the problem last year. Defense was the reason why we went 5-12. The fact that we couldn't stop anybody at all from driving down the field and putting up points was the problem, man. So I'm gonna give defense more of a concern, but wide receiver two, if Terry doesn't stay healthy, we in trouble too with there. So we'll see.
