With the beginning of the summer season, the season of books and reading, I am starting Season 8 of the Al-Kharsh podcast, and in an 8-minute mini-episode, I invite you to the world of childhood by reading a book from the childhood library, a book written by an unknown author named "Sadaf" and titled "Big B", "Little B".
A reminder of all the great and small writers who, with their pens, have brought us closer to worlds more colorful than our own.
No matter how much I search, I can't find the abstract publication. It seems like it no longer exists or maybe its name has changed. But at the end of the book, the publisher wrote something addressed to good children who read books that still makes sense in the absence of the publication and its books:
"We know that among you children, there are certainly those who write much better than Sadaf and his friend, and perhaps much better than all the authors whose books we have read so far……
But
You too can try yourself and write your own stories so that you know that writing requires courage. We will read your writings and publish them in the form of a book, so either bring them to us or mail them to us and be sure that your letters will definitely reach us and we will answer you after reading them.
Abstract Publication Address: Tehran, beginning of Nizam Abad Street, Islamic Station
Who knows what has been built to replace these publications today? Who knows the answer to this question? It's his turn to talk to him in the next episode.
Book Reading: Sepideh Arbabi
I look forward to your writings, which require courage to write and read, so that I can contribute to the culture of writing and reading, just like the abstract publications.
