Anticipatory Set: A real performing arts school in NYC is losing its drama partner and almost didn’t finish out the season. Can all the famous alumni save it? Not so much.
Getting Schooled: Remember my name. (FAME!). Remember, remember, remember. Our hosts would care to forget parts of this 70s fantasia of NYC high school for the arts. Especially Coco’s demise, hot lunch dance breaks, middle of the school day middle of the street dance breaks, analyst lust, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ralph acting like an absolute dick, a rape victim taken to a priest instead of a hospital, Mrs. Sherwood, and Montgomery’s sad Times Square apartment.
Exit Ticket: Justin had ChatGPT, our helpful nemesis, to retell the plot of Fame but comically. Just like the last trip to ChaptGPT, there are lots of similes and metaphors in robot humor.
