Juno - As far as glimpses into the world of education as light with this film we did learn that giving the pregnant girl side eye isn’t what one does and that cross country coaches should talk to their male athletes about wearing jockstraps. Other than that there were potatoes with lots of bacon yum, jugs full of Sunny D, pregnant women with full jugs, Elliot Page being a boss, Chemistry class bullies, peach Boone’s Farm, Elon Musk’s kid, guys in the late 30s still playing guitar, a mean Mom yelling at a student teacher, mean medical professionals, mean step moms you want in your corner, and the answer to the question: Is Bleeker an asshole? Exit ticket: Well Ronnie had some FAFO when he trashed an education article from the Fall trimester’s Dawson’s Creek podcast and did a bad Marsha Brady impression of the author. She heard the episode and has her rebuttal. Teacher, author and guest Crystal Frommert of the podcast Learner-Centered Spaces joins them.
