Kayli is your everyday typical and relatable girl trying to navigate the turbulence of her twenties with the help of her weekly guests. Episode 4: Are You There God? It's Me, Kayli
For the first time, Kayli does a solo episode where she talks about this phenomenon of a "second puberty" that girls in their young twenties experience. She refers back to the 1970 Judy Blume novel, "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret," which focuses on a young girls pubescent pre-teen years, and how this "first" puberty parallels with a woman's second puberty. Kayli brings in notes from girlfriends of hers and shares experiences and situations young twenty year old's are currently dealing with, so that other twenty-somethings can feel comfort in this turbulent time. Kayli's discussion ranges from periods to boobs to body changes and birth control and all the in between.
