Mendy, the Spiritual Rabbi, shares how plant medicine reignited his faith and inspired a new understanding of religion, ritual, spirituality, the Divine Feminine.
On this episode of the Aluna Experience podcast, we talk with Mendy, the Spiritual Rabbi, who shares how addiction led him to join the 12 -step program which birthed an awareness to his past traumas where Mendy’s healing journey began. After hitting “a wall” on his healing journey, Mendy knew he needed to break through something so answered the call to commune with Ayahuasca.
Mendy shares his enjoyment in the preparatory dieta and how it serves as an invitation to care for himself in a new way. He shares how medicine helped him to process traumas from his childhood, to find calm amidst a sea of anger and his experience healing his relationship with the feminine through Mother Ayahuasca and the synchronicity of an only women group in his Entheoguide training retreat.
He shares his love and appreciation of Judaism and how medicine, to his surprise, reignited his faith and supported him to take back sacred ritual to make it his own and share his light and new understanding of spirituality with his community.
