In honor (and anticipation!) of Gianna’s wedding this weekend, the theme of this episode is, of course, weddings! RR takes a deep dive into newer releases with couples tying the knot including The Drama (2026) and Ready or Not 2 (2026). As well as older movies including Bridesmaids (2011), Mamma Mia (2008), Wedding Crashers (2005), and of course, the RR favorite Palm Springs (2020). Weekly watches include newer releases Obsession (2026), Is God Is (2026), The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026), Project Hail Mary (2026), and The Bride! (2026). It turns out movies centered around weddings feel super familiar and even comforting (even when the audience can feel that the couple doesn’t belong together). There’s a certain beauty in the chaos. So when you pop in your AirPods to listen to this episode, don’t forget to raise a glass to the newlyweds Gianna and Christian!
