Hey, what's up everybody. This is the build your vision podcast. I am clear the visionary and in this episode, I am going to be sharing with you a response to a comment I got on my YouTube channel. And the question in the comment was this. How does one know or find out what God made us or created us to be. And I think that's an amazing question because it completely contributes to how you operate as a visionary. You could be more clear. You can be more confident. You can be more consistent in your life. You can know exactly how you should use your time, resources, and energy. You should be able to communicate in a way with others that makes you stand out and set apart in lots of ways. If you are clear on this question, if you have an understanding about this question, how. How does one know. Or find out. What God has created us to be. And I answered that question, uh, on my YouTube channel. And I'm doing an audio transmission of this response. For you on the podcast

And if you hear me keep referring to something called the constitution, I am referring to the Bible. I know I never explicitly said that. In this, but you'll be able to see it if you're watching on YouTube. And if you want to see me on YouTube, just the same thing, build your vision with clear the vision area and YouTube. But that's what I'm referring to. I'm referring to the Bible. When I talk about this is the constitution.

Scarlett 2i2 USB

So have you ever thought about that question? Like what. What am I supposed to be doing? Uh, I kind of break it down into three or four kind of sections in this response. I hope is valuable to you. Please enjoy.

How does one know or find out what God created us to be? That's the question, honestly. That's a great question. Let's get into it. All right. This is the constitution. Constitution is the basic principles and laws of a nation state or social group. That determine the powers and duties of the government and guarantee rights to the people in it. This is the constitution of what we call the kingdom of God or the kingdom of heaven. What is the kingdom of heaven? Well, let's first dissect what a kingdom is. A kingdom is a major territorial unit having a monarchical form of government headed by a king or queen. Now, remember, I printed out these definitions because I want to make sure that we're not having a differing experience based on different definitions. And I went to Webster's and look, look at this, look at this guys, look at this. This was also on Webster's. The eternal kingship of God. The realm in which God's will is fulfilled. Yup. I think the founder of Webster's is a believer, y'all. Cause this is it! This is it right here! Now, what does this have to do with understanding what God's plan is for your life? How you know what you're created for? Well, it all goes back to citizenship. This is why I'm talking about citizenship. a kingdom. So the first time we hear about this kingdom that's coming is at the very beginning of the constitution. And go turn with me if you have it on your Bible or like it's on your phone or on the internet. Okay, see here. I will put enmity between thee and the woman. And between thy seed and her seed, I will bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel. Now, this is God talking to Satan or the serpent or who was formerly known as Lucifer because of the sin that he brought into the world. And basically he's foreshadowing the rest of this whole constitution here by saying, look, I am going to bruise thy head. Some say crush thy head, which means he's going to kill him. And then you shall bruise his heel. And he's talking about the seed of. The woman now the woman throughout the constitution is constantly referred to being symbolic of God's people or the church. And of course the seed of the serpent is the kingdom of this world or those who are against God. The bruised heel refers to the death of his son, but he will rise again. That's why he's a bruise on his heel and not crushing the head. And this refers to the rest of this constitution, which is a unified story that leads to Christ. So let's fast forward like a couple hundred, a couple thousand years, Jesus, which is English translation of the Greek spelling of his name in Hebrew, which is Jesus. Uh, and then that Hebrew name is Yeshua or Yehoshua, named Joshua in Hebrew, if you translated that in English. But for the sake of this purposes of how it's translated in the King James Version and in America, uh, we will go with Jesus. So look here where he says, His message this is where he starts to begin his public ministry at the age of 30 He says repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand There goes that word again the kingdom and then he goes on in the next chapter to preach this sermon and teach for like three chapters and all he talks about is the kingdom of heaven and then He talks about the kingdom of heaven and more about the kingdom of heaven and then like he throws all these parables in here where he's talking about the kingdom of heaven and the sower of seed and More about the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of heaven and more about the kingdom of heaven and more descriptions of the kingdom So we see that the kingdom is really really prevalent in the Constitution because it's what the Constitution is Referring to okay. I think we understand this now So what do we all know about a nation a kingdom a sovereign territory? Is that you have to have citizenship in that kingdom or citizenship in that nation? If you are not a citizen, you do not abide by the laws Rules and privileges of the constitution. Now, trust me, this is all looping back to how do we find out what God made us to be? How do we know what God's plan is for our life? Well, how do you gain citizenship? Well, the constitution tells us. In John chapter 3, Jesus is talking to a Pharisee named Nicodemus, and he says, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Now, this makes sense. Yeah, you were born into your citizenship. Like, where do you live? You're probably a citizen there. And for most of you, you were probably born into citizenship there. But for the rest of you, you might not have been born in this country that you're a citizen in, and that is how you get a citizenship. Dual citizenship. How do you get dual citizenship? If you want to be a part of the kingdom of God? Well, let's go to Romans chapter 10, verse nine. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth, the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart, that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be safe for with the heart, man, believe with unto righteousness. And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. That's basically saying that this is the King James version. And trust me, Paul and Jesus did not actually talk like this. In fact, they didn't even speak English, but this is how they talked. Uh, when the King James version was written in the Bible in the 16th century. So just want to make that clear. So this is how you gain citizenship. You must be born again of the spirit and you must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and was created. Raised from the dead. So if this is the case for you, you now have dual citizenship. You are a citizen of the spiritual sovereign nation of God's kingdom. And you are also a citizen of your geographical nation, wherever you live, whether that's the United States, Canada, Mexico, Ghana, Nigeria, China, Japan, whatever it is. So you have dual citizenship and your primary citizenship is in the kingdom of heaven because we are spiritual beings first. If my spirit were to leave me, if I was just to go, I would be a corpse. The spirit is what gives life to the fleshly body. So you're actually primary citizenship is in the kingdom of God. Heaven. And since your primary citizenship is actually in a different nation than the nation that you live, that means that you are fulfilling a very important role as God's representative of his nation and the nation that you geographically live. And what is that type of person called? Does anybody know? It's called an ambassador. An ambassador is a diplomatic agent of the highest rank accredited to a foreign government as a resident representative of his or her own government appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment. Yes, you heard me right, my friend. You are on temporary diplomatic assignment in your geographic area. Nation. Now we're getting a little closer, right? To what did God create us to do? What did he create us for? What is God's plan for us? That is the question. And this is how we're getting closer to it. All right, stick with me. I'm getting, I'm getting there. Now, when it comes to your diplomatic assignment, this assignment is broken into two categories. You have your General Assignment and you have a Personal Assignment. Your General Assignment is the assignment that all ambassadors are responsible for, and your Personal Assignment is what you specifically are responsible for. Both General Assignments and Personal Assignments are also broken into two main missions. The first one is to please God, and the second one is to serve people. This is inundated throughout the Constitution. Revelation four 11, thou are worthy O Lord to receive glory and honor and power for thou has created all things for thy pleasure. They were created. And this is echoed in Isaiah chapter 43, verse seven, two. Even everyone that is called by my name, for I have created him for my glory. I have formed him. Yay. I have made him. You were made for his glory, glory, honor, power. This is the purpose. He created you because he wanted to. It pleased Him, and your job as His ambassador is to please Him. Now we get to serving people, and there's a bridge that connects the pleased God to serve people, and it's in Matthew 22. Starting with verse 37, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy soul, and all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. This is the bridge of how we please God and link to serving people. Because it goes on to the second part. The second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. All these two commandments all, hang all the law and the prophets. Please God, serve people. That's it. General assignment, what does that mean? Honor, glory, power to him. Have reverence, yield power over your life to him. Give him glory, weight, splendor to his name in all that you do. Then love him with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind. Of course, this goes into lots of the things that you probably generally know about him. Christ and what his disciples are supposed to do. They're supposed to love people. They're supposed to go forth and make disciples, right? The Great Commission. Go with ye forward, and all nations make disciples, baptizing the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. You're supposed to clothe the needy, feed the hungry, and the people who don't do this, God will say, I never will. New you. This is a part of your general assignment as an ambassador. But what about your personal assignment? What are you supposed to be doing as an individual? I'm so glad you asked. Back to the Constitution. Now remember, the principles are the same for both the general and the personal assignment. You're supposed to please God and serve people. But when it comes to serving people on an individual level, how are we supposed to go about doing that? Look at Proverbs 11. We're going to look at verse 25. It says, a liberal soul shall be made fat. And he that watereth shall be watered also himself. And he that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him, but a blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. Other versions say he that withholds grain. It's cursed by the people, but he who sells it is blessed. This means that you have a contribution that you can bring to the marketplace. Now I looked up the actual Hebrew definition of this word and it does in fact mean to sell, buy, trade, sell. This ultimately means that one of the best ways we can serve people is by bringing value to the marketplace. Now let's be clear about something here. There's plenty of things that you can do for the greater good. Nonprofits, right? Just service to the community. But I tell you this, everything costs something. There's no way to do God's work on earth without resources, no matter where the resources come from. Whether it is the person, the patronizer is the person who is getting the benefit of it, the beneficiary, or the patronizer who is making the resources is the person who just wants to give to the cause of the beneficiary. Either way, you're going to have to sell an idea, A concept, a product, a service, whatever it is. Now, how do you get clear on what that is? I'm getting to that. But I want you to see here that people are grateful for those who actually provide a solution to their needs. They bless the one that sells the grain, but they curse the one that withholds it. Don't be stingy with what God has given you. Don't be stingy with your gifts, your talents, your spiritual gifts. All these different things that alchemize who you are as an individual that you can bring value to the world with. How we get to do that, how we know what that is, I'm going to get there shortly. But first, let's go to the Please God section of the personal assignment. How do we please God with our personal assignment? 1 Samuel 15 verse 22. And Samuel said, Hath the Lord had great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than to sacrifice, to hearken than fat of rams. This is saying, look, the Lord wants your obedience more than your tithing, your offering, more than your sacrifice, and this or that, more than your tithing. He wants your obedience. How do we please God when it comes to our personal assignment? Obey the call that he has given us. Obey his commandments. Obey the way that God has informed us to live. That means generally and personally. Cause he's called you to do something. Now you might have heard me throw in that word there. Call. Calling. Now we probably heard this word before. Now what does that word even mean? Bruh. Like, call. It's a calling. Alright? Calling. A calling is God's invitation for your participation in his purposes. That's all a calling is. It's his invitation. Now you can accept it or not, but he's inviting you to participate in what he's trying to do in the world. Now, calls happen in numerous ways, right? Joseph had a dream. Jeremiah had a vision. Paul was literally talked to from Jesus in heaven. Nehemiah had a prompting or emotional impulse. All these different ways are ways God speaks to us. Now, I have no idea what your call will be and how it will come, but these are some things to look out for. When it comes to understanding what you were made to be. So are we together here? Let's just do a quick little recap before we get into the main meat of the whole point of this video. We have a constitution in the Bible and there's a constitution because it is the precepts and principles for the abiding regulations for a sovereign nation. And that nation is the kingdom of heaven. And this kingdom of heaven, you had to have a citizenship into it. You must be born again, spiritually into this kingdom. And you do that. By accepting Jesus as Lord, professing with your mouth and believing in your heart. Then you can have dual citizenship or citizenship in the spiritual kingdom of heaven, as well as your geographic nation that you live in. And because you have dual citizenship and you are representative in a foreign land, that means you are an ambassador and ambassadors do diplomatic assignments. And you have a general assignment and a personal assignment. How you do these assignments, you please God and serve God. People now you please God generally of course by doing what he said giving him honor glory power over your life And then you also serve people by clothing the needy Feeding the hungry making sure that you care for widows and orphans the general things that are part of the regulations This is how we live This is the culture of the kingdom of heaven and we're able to bring glimpses of heaven on earth. We abide by the rules in this constitution, but then you have your personal assignment that goes into you doing exactly what God has specifically called you to do. And that could come in different formats of how he calls you to it. Jeremiah was a vision. Uh, Moses, it was a burning bush. Paul, it was spoken from heaven. Uh, Joseph had a dream. Nehemiah had a prompting inside his soul. I can't tell you how that's going to happen, but it gives you awareness to look out for it. And you please God by this, by obeying, because obedience is better to Him than sacrifice. He, okay, great. You pay your tithe. But that, are you obedient to the call of God though? Now, if you're feeling something of like something you feel like God has called you to do, the question arises, well, how do I know that it's from God? How do I know it's from the Lord? Could this just be me? Could this just be culture's influence on my mind? I'll give you three steps of how you can figure out. Whether it's from God or not, and I hope this helps you pay attention. Number one, find your why your why is the meaning behind your doing every little experience Environment and expertise that you have is not an accident as joseph said in genesis Uh, the enemy may have meant it for evil, but God used it for good. Literally, nothing in your life is wasted. Even the bad things have turned you into the person who could do good things in this lifetime. And they all are connected and thematic. And when you look back through a strategic process, you get to see, Oh, wow, I am being built for something and it has to do with God. This so step one find your why then authenticate yourself and I talked about this in a prior video about being authentic But answering the question for yourself. What would I do? If all my needs were met I had food on my table clothes on my back and a roof over my head What would I do every single day of my life? What contribution would I make to the world every single day of my life? If even if I never got paid for it, what would you do and be authentic with yourself? Don't be rational Don't be bashful Be truthful about what you really, really feel called to do. That unique discontent, something that you see in the world that you wish was different, that you wish you could fix, that burdens your heart. Like Nehemiah, his countenance was depressed and the king said, what's wrong? It's not good for you to be sad in my presence. That is what I'm talking about when it says authenticate yourself and then filter through scripture. This is the last part because yes, the heart is exceedingly wicked. What man can know it like, so we have to filter the things cause we can be influenced by multiple things, everything through scripture and what I feeling aligned with the character of Christ is aligned with the fruit of the spirit. And this is how we can figure out whether this prompting, whether this unction, is from God. And this is how we get closer to understanding what God has called us to do, what we were created to be, to answer your question. If you want to get better with this process, y'all, um, the find your why, challenge I have is actually a process that I talk about in my community called Visionpreneur School. Uh, it's for visionaries that want to make impact and income with their ideas, insights, and influence, but they're looking for more clarity. It's in there and it's free. I'm giving it to you, so I don't know why you wouldn't want to take advantage of that. And more importantly, it's a community of people who are on the same trajectory as you. You don't understand how hard it was for me to find people who are actually of the same mindset, actually trying to do Kingdom work, actually trying to grow professionally. financially, spiritually. I had to pay to get in rooms like that. And I'm, I'm, I'm just making it available. So like get in there. You can go to build your vision podcast. com, uh, forward slash community, or just go to build your vision podcast. com and click community. Or you can just click the link in the description. I would love to have you in there, but this is how you find out what God made you to be. for the question. I hope this was helpful to you. No matter what happens, whether this was dope to you or not, keep building your vision every single day. Peace.
