I am recording this on October 15th 2024 at 10 o'clock in the morning. I want to use this time and I might not post this directly at this recording because, I'll be honest, mentally I'm not feeling that great about this, but this is by far the worst I've felt about the business, which is super depressing because we're two months into coming off of our biggest month ever and it's like we hit the biggest goal, put a lot of implementation in and literally the market sucked all the opportunity out from under us. We're trying to figure things out and unfortunately, during the same transition, my partner basically decided to ghost and there was another opportunity that we were copacetic on him pursuing, granted that he could still do his job here. It would help the business and him personally, and that's just not happening. So now I'm stuck with all this debt that he was in charge of handling and running the finances and he was a huge part of managing my integrations and my backend, and now it is all on me, which that is part of entrepreneurship, and this is the big battle and the big monster that I have to now beat and figure out a way to make sure I can still make my payroll. I still got to sell deals. I still got to somehow pay for Legion. I might have to fire some people to save money. I might need to do some new funky terms. I really don't know. It's going to be interesting. There's money that should have been coming in, where stuff didn't get filed on time because the partner wasn't doing everything that they should have been doing and staying on top of it. So I'm playing a lot of catch up. A lot of it's on me for not keeping my eye on the ball on this.
Speaker 1:Part of the risk of scale and growth is you have to leverage control and I had good eyes on it and I thought things were getting moved forward, but I guess it's a good lesson that I need to be even more involved at this stage. And it's frustrating because we built around near the revenue we were doing and now it's basically have to deconstruct, descale and go super, super minimal and try to climb back out of this hole, which means it'll probably take even longer and more time and more frustration. And uh, yeah, we'll see. I mean, I got a guy that's trying to open up a new office for us that he just quit his job for and I have like no money. So I got to figure something out. We'll see what happens Small business woes but I wanted to record this in the moment, while it's raw, while I'm feeling it.
Speaker 1:I mean, we have so many credit lines out right now because we were trying to scale and make it big and the projections just never hit and we had installers basically steal money and basically a ton of waste and abuse, put us in a really really really tough position and, uh, where I thought the books were at was not where they were at. So stressful, stressful, stressful, stressful, stressful. Um, but gotta find a way to win. So I will probably post this when I'm feeling more mentally wanting to post it, but uh, I figured I'd at least record it in a moment for for those out there who probably have gone through something similar, and if I do find a way through it and find a solution, I will be sharing that as well. All right, guys, peace.
