Also, you can send comments or questions to our email address at Interlike 3 at gmail.com. Now, let us continue our episode, Obeying God's Word through Christ. Now the next day, 62. Now see, some preachers would tell you, and even a Catholic would actually say this out of their own mouth. That Good Friday he was buried. Good Friday, he was buried. Friday and then Saturday at the Sabbath. And he that's a de that's a dead hell. That's a lie. That is a lie. I can tell you that from the get-go. That is a lie. The Catholic people and all these other denominations said that Good Friday, he died. No, he died that Wednesday night. Here's the proof. Now the next day that followed the preparation of the day of the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together to Pilate, unto Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember that this deceiver said while he yet alive, after three days I will rise again. Even the Pharisees, the chief priest, told Pilate, Jesus gonna rise again in three days, not a day and a half. Not from Friday to Sunday, that ain't three days. Jesus even said, three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Same as what Jonah did in the body of the well. Three days and three nights. And then here's uh Pilate. Well, somebody said in 64, command therefore that the septic be made sure until the third day lest any disciple come by night and steal him away and say unto the people he had risen from the dead, so that the last error shall be worse than the first. Who said this? The three days okay, the chief priest and the Pharisees said that after three days I will rise again, Jesus said, and then the Pharisees said command therefore that the septic be made sure until the third day lest his disciple know. Check this out. So that the last arrow shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, ye have a watch, go your way, make as sure as you can. So they went and made the sepulchre, sealed the stone, set and setting the watch. And then at the end of the weekly Sabbath, end of the Sabbath says there towards as it began to dawn towards the first week of first day of the week. Okay. So the Sabbath is in it. The weekly Saturday, that's a Saturday. Now remember, it's three days. Three days later. He died Wednesday. Day after was uh the day after preparation. Another in other words, it was a uh Passover. And then the day after was the preparation, and then the Sabbath. That's three straight days. Three days, three nights. I'll get to my point in a second here. At the end of the Sabbath as it began the dawn, towards the first week uh first day of the week came Mary Magdalene and the other married to see sexual. And behold, there was a great earthquake. Now this is a great earthquake before when we read in uh in chapter twenty-seven the earth did quakes. Shaking the earth and uh making noise here that hey, this is my son, who I am well pleased. Hear ye him. This is my son, which you forgot you forgot that I am God. He is my word, he is my son, he is the son of man, he's he's also the son of God. And behold, a great earthquake for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. So it probably took three or four or five, ten men to roll that stone, stone that uh stone to lock up Jesus in the tomb. Remember, he gave up the ghost. Ghost went back to God, okay? Now Jesus come back to get to get his uh body. Rolled away the stone. And the continence was like lightning. Ooh, bright. I mean lightning oh man. We see lightnings around in Atlanta. I mean, there was you mean you get some lightning around Atlanta, it's so it's it's like electricity. I mean, you stare at the lightning, it would be like a zigzag, it would be so bright and all that. And his raiment was white as snow. It was the whitest thing on earth. And for fear of them, the keeper did shake and became as dead men. I mean, I mean the dead, the dead the man uh these these men died. That's what he said, became as dead men, speechless, no feeling. And the angel said answer what was the question? Apparently someone asked a question, and the uh angel, while rolling the stone and sitting on top of the stone, the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not. So the angel saw fear in the woman's eyes, in the women's eyes, I should say women's, in the women's eyes. Fear not ye, for I had I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said, Come see the place where the Lord lay, and go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. Now there's always a controversy about well who sent the message, who who told who told uh uh who told somebody that Jesus is written? The angel of the Lord, as uh as bright as you know, I mean it's so white. He said, I know that you seek him which was crucified. I know you seek him. He is not here, for he has risen as he said. See the word is filtering in your heart that you cannot sin against him. Man has failed. I'm gonna say this, and I'm gonna say it right here and now. Man has failed to understand Christ, who is sitting on the right. Remember in Revelation, he said, the Lord and his Christ. His Christ is sitting on the right hand of the Almighty. He's sitting on the right hand. Jesus is not here. Come and see the place where Lord lay and go quickly and tell. I want you girls to tell that Jesus had written risen.
SPEAKER_00I said, ain't that enough?
SPEAKER_01Everybody saying, well, women can't preach. Well, my question is, who did he tell the angel of the Lord that Jesus had written? The women. Okay, if the women heard this angel telling them, go and tell the disciples that he has risen, and then behold, he goeth before you unto Galilee, there shall you see him. Lo I have told you. And they quick the departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, and did run to bring this disciple word. Jesus has risen. And that was the angel of the Lord said. And when the angel of the Lord said that Jesus had written and g and told the women to go tell the disciple that word that he's risen, then it should be a united way. It should be united where uh not only the men, folks, has risen, I mean had told that Jesus has written, but the women. Who is there that Mary Magdalene and the other mayor? And all the women said, Oh, Jesus written, Jesus written, Jesus risen, Jesus risen. I mean, and as they went to tell his disciple, behold, Jesus met them, oh my goodness. To confirm what the angel of the Lord said, Jesus met them.
SPEAKER_02Now wait a minute, what the how in the world? What is going on here?
SPEAKER_01The word of God said, I will raise my son up. He has risen. And then Jesus met them, saying, All hell. And they came and held him by his feet and worship him. I am the Son of God. I'm the Son of Man. I'm the Son of God. Then Jesus said unto them, Be not afraid and go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. Now when they were gone, behold, some of the watchmen came into the city and show unto the chief priests all the things that were done and when they this is uh Matthew twenty eight and twelve, and when they were assembled with the elder and took and they had count taken counsel and they gave a large amount of money unto the show soldiers and said, Yeah, say, yeah, yeah. But that plan fell fell apart when God took care of that. God disrupted that plan right away. God's uh God said, uh, that ain't gonna work. That ain't gonna work. That ain't gonna work. So so the eleven with the disciples, uh, eleven disciples went away into Galilee into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them, appointed them. This is 1617. And when he had saw him, when they had seen him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. He rose, he died. John said one of the soldiers pierced him in the side, and blood and water came out. So they wanted to make sure that he did die. And then Thomas didn't believe, and that's where the doubt came in. Thomas didn't believe, and Jesus said, Oh, we're going to go to 20th chapter 19, verse then the same day, at evening, being the first day of the week when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews. That's the reason why they were fearing the Jews, because if they kill Jesus that way, they crucified him, put a sword on his side and all that, they can do the rest of the disciples there. It's like what Acts was saying about Paul dragging people into uh Jerusalem and letting a council to get them and this and that and thus and so. This and and and you know, destroying and and and stoning really uh Stephen. Stoning Stephen, stoning Stephen, you know, and being at the first day of the week when the doors were shut and where the disciples were assembled for the fear of the Jews came Jesus and stood in the midst and said, peace, said unto them, peace, peace, be still. And when they had so said, He showed unto them the hands and his side. I was crucified and I rose again. I'll be sitting on the right hand of my Father in heaven, but I'm send you the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost. And that Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost will lay hands on you, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives others. That's another controversy. No, you know, God don't do that. God don't give the Spirit of uh Holy Ghost to people. If they are obedient and and a believer, if they have faith in God and faith in his Lord and Savior, and faith in his Christ, then the Holy Spirit would be there. The promise of the Father is upon you and your children's children and your children's children. Save yourself from this untrawn generation. That's what he was saying. That was Peter was saying. Peter was saying, save yourself. In other words, be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak it in tongues as the Spirit. Get the wisdom and knowledge of God. I'm enjoying this session there. Like I said, being a uh stepfather is interesting. Because you gotta teach your your children to be obedient to God. You gotta see the reason why man is in the state that they are, because the fact that we have weak men in the family. They're not obeying God, they're not keep keeping the commandments of God, they're not allowing the children to go to church and hear the word of God. They're not the mother and the father, you mean the uh baby mamas and the baby daddies are not teaching the children. And they look and and the children looking at them, oh I don't have a structure family, I don't have a structure business, I don't have this, I don't have that. But see, the idea is that what's what's the point in uh understanding God if you don't have a foundation? Let's go to John chapter twenty, verse twenty. And when he had so said he showed his hands unto them, his hands and his sign. Then were the disciple glad glad when they saw the Lord, and then said Jesus unto them, peace be unto you as my father has sent me, even so I sent you. And when he has said this, he breathed on them. Breathing on them. Remember the in Genesis God breathed his breath in man when he was forming him in the dust of the earth. He breathed life in him. He was living since. Soul Now Jesus breathed on them, saying, Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Whosoever sin ye remit, they are remitted unto them. And whosoever sin ye retain, they are retained. Remit and retain. That'd be good. That'd be good study there. What is remit and what is retain? Lay aside. To rel to release from guilt or penalty of to retain from extraction. So remit will forever sin you lay aside the sin. Remember in Hebrew, you lay aside every way and the sin that it easily forsakes you and looking on to Jesus, the author and finisher of faith. So you uh remit the sin, remit it. You cast it, you lay aside it, you release it, you you you you get rid of it. But whosoever sin you retain, they will retain. Now someone ought to preach that. If if if if if Jesus said he received ye the Holy Ghost, 23 says, Whosoever sin ye remit, you forgive, you know, God has forgiven you. But oh and whosoever sin you retain, they all keep that sin. Someone ought to preach that. You say, There's no heaven in the hell to put you in. Oh, wait a minute, wait a minute. Wait a minute, hold on, hold on. Someone ought to preach that. I might preach it later on. Might get a you know a point off of that. But 24, I'm gonna read on. 24 said, uh, but Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. Then the other disciple therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. They were so happy they saw him blessed. Oh, yeah, we've seen it all now. Now we can preach this word, what he has given us to preach, yeah. And then Thomas said, He said unto the other himself, I see, I shall see in his hand the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nail, and thrust my hand into his side. I will not believe. That's uh that's that's one of the reasons why I wrote the book, Obedient Believer.
SPEAKER_02You got to believe God and his word, and you got to believe that Jesus rose from the dead, rose from the dead, and sitting, and actually sitting on on the right hand, on the right hand of God.
SPEAKER_01And then after eight days again, he again his disciples were within, with him, and Thomas were uh with them. Then came Jesus and the door being shut and stood in the midst and said, Peace be unto you. Now, the next verse is gonna be shocking. Then said him to Thomas, reach hither thy finger and behold my hand, and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into my side, and be not faithless, but believing. Faithless, men without faith. Because Thomas said up here, he said, until I actually see, feel him, grab hold of him, I'm not gonna believe. We'll see, Thomas. Listen to me. And Thomas said, and he said that, okay, I will not, and I I will not believe. And Jesus told him, Hey, reach this, reach hither the hand, and behold the finger, and behold my hand, reach hither the hand, and thrust it into my side, and be not faithless. I believe. Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Those are powerful words. I understand what God is saying. I'm gonna end it right now because there's a lot of things I want to say. Well, I might well say it. See, God, God wants people to understand his son. His son is the word of God. People teach and preach the word of God, but yet and still they don't understand his method, his uh theology, if you want to call it that. See, everything is in the word. And when he gives his spirit, his his his spirit of uh Holy Spirit to that person, then that person receives God in his heart. Whether he's a stepfather, whether he's a trained man, whether he's a man of woman of God, whether he or she is listening to a Jesus at his feet, and Jesus telling the woman, go tell my disciples. I'll meet them at Galilee to let them know, hey, I have risen. I have risen. And I want them to teach them that uh let them be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But uh that's what I don't understand about preachers. They want to change, I heard this on YouTube, they want to change, change the word of God to fit their needs. But you gotta conform to God's needs. You can't change God's word. God's word is unchangeable. And you got to live the life of hope being holy, sanctified before the Lord, knowing that Christ is on his right, on God's right hand, right side, right hand. He's sitting on the right hand of God. He will come again. Romans 12:1 say, I beseech ye, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your body a living sacrifice. Holy. In other words, you have to live holy. You can't change the gospel. The gospel changes you. You cannot change the gospel, the gospel changes you. Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Reasonable service. I mean, Paul made it clear. I beseech thee, brother, in the mercies of God, that you present your body a living. That's all of us. Which is your reasonable service. And then the second verse said, and be not transformed, conform, be not conformed to this world. So you you you're changing, you're changing your gender. Gender don't God said, you're a man, you're a man. You're a woman, you're a moment. Don't have man to man or woman to woman, you know, that. You know, you gotta be holy. Basically, you gotta be holy. You gotta be holy before God. You gotta be holy before God. That's it, that is your reasonable service. If you're gonna accept God through Jesus Christ, through his word, you gotta be holy. Being holy is specializing, recognize as or declared sacred by sacred by religion, use or authority, consecration. You gotta consecrate yourself. Holy is uh you gotta be devoted, you gotta be pure, allowing the nourna to fall, yosh to break, allowing God to come in and penetrate in your heart and in your mind and in your soul. He says uh live in sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God, which is your reason of service service, and be not conformed to this word, but be transformed. Transforming change by the renewing of your mind that ye may be prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Let's go to three. For I say through the grace given unto me to every man that is among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly according to according as God had dealt to every man that measure of faith. So God wants you to be holy as he is holy. God wants you to be sanctified as he is sanctified. Now, now I'll end it. Maybe a long one, but it's okay. Thank you for tuning in to our podcast.
