Here is part two of making up my mind. Then I married my second wife. She came along and helped me create getting a life today. The program was to minister the word of God to the people of God. Not only the program was aired on people TV in Atlanta, but outside of Atlanta, like North Carolina, Birmingham, Alabama, and New York City. So we created a strong program because people would call us for prayer. We gave a lot of other information for the audience to go with God. My second wife came from Holly Springs, Mississippi, and she had four boys. They had a gospel family group. The ex-father, which was a guitar player, followed them to Atlanta. The two grown sons would play bass, and the two little ones were background singers. The mother was the lead singer. But after the ex-husband returned to Mississippi, he took on the role of the stepfather in her life. The stepfather is one who takes the place of a biological father. The biological father goes and commit adultery against the wife. He wants to be a player, so he begins to have other women on the side. He's supposed to be a Christian, Christian father, and a pure husband to his wife. To me, the player is one that hurts the wife because he doesn't really love her or his children. The stepfather loves the wife and the children. He is more of a friend to the children, even though he is not his children. The children actually need the biological father in the home. They don't really need a stepfather. The reason I say that is that the biological father can fulfill all the needs of the wife and children. The biological father can come in and work with his children and be there for them. The stepfather just replaces the father. He loves the wife and the children, but he is substituting for the biological father. So many of us as stepfathers have chances to raise stepchildren the right way. We have a hard time because the stepchildren do not recognize us as being the head of the household. The natural father is supposed to have taken care of the business with his wife. But when the biological father steps aside and doesn't really take care of his household, then I have a problem because the situation puts me in a position to raise his kids. By raising his children, I cannot really have a family of my own. So the children respect the stepfather because the mother wants the children to respect the stepfather. That is why, when I began telling about my experience as a stepfather, it brought back strong memories. A wife really needed a husband to take care of not only her, but to take care of the children. That's why the first marriage was a struggle because the kids wanted their father. I did my best as a stepfather to support them. My feelings about becoming a father would have been more of a blessing because they would be my children. I would have been a better father, knowing the type of kids that I had. I would train them to respect God and his commandments. They would have a better attitude toward him. But being a stepfather would frustrate the children because they do not accept him. In both families, I felt that I was in the midst of being a stepfather, and I treated them right. I fell short on that account, but I did continue to love the wife and to treat her. Proverbs 18, verse 22 said, Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord. Proverbs 31, verse 10 said, Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above Ruby's. You have to really treat your kids with discipline as God treats us like disciples. As we continue to understanding more of God's will, I believe there is enough room for improvement, stability, love, faith, and hope. During my second marriage, I did learn about the Sabbath, which is the seventh day of the week. God rested on that day. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and is sitting on the right hand of God. And we receive the Holy Spirit that we can have the authority over sins and evil people. The gift of God dwells with the Spirit in us on this earth. Then I believe in the anointing of God. If I can give you an example of God's anointing, it would be his Son, Jesus. He gave his disciples God's anointing through his spirit. Therefore, God's anointing is more prominent in people's hearts today than ever before. It flows through the believers, touching their hearts, teaching, and imparting spiritual power to them and bringing life to them that believe. They also believe in Christ Jesus, who is sitting on the right hand of God. Christ paid the Christ to receive the anointing from his Father. God teaches us and tells us that he is God, and there's none like him. With his anointing in your life, you can do all things. Therefore, the two women that I married had the anointing. Even though they passed away, I appreciated them showing me God and His anointing. Because I have wonder a lot about God's word. I'm getting to a point where I believe wholeheartedly, whenever God speaks to me, He is directing my path. That is why the two women that I married gave me so much knowledge of God that I appreciate them teach me all about him. I gave the second life the weekly program and to minister to the audience knowledge of God. Many times as a stepfather, I would go and talk to God about several things that had happened in my life. God would direct my path in the right direction and show me his way through his word. Through his son, Jesus who died for me, he was able to direct my path. As a stepfather, I am willing to learn more about God. My family understood the directions that God were taking them. We were led by God's Holy Spirit. During my marriages between the two women, the stepsons and stepdaughters saw the love that I had for the women that I married. They did not imitate what we had, nor they did not follow what we were presenting to them as a loving family. Their minds were carnal. They went different directions, away from God, committing sinful acts. But the wives and I had a good relationship with God. Sometimes we may stumble, but out of the will of God, but with through repentance, we were able to stay on course. That is why I am knowledgeable about being a stepfather. Maybe I did not have a chance to have a real son or daughter, but I am able to know about stepchildren. Therefore, my life continued to be fulfilled as I got older.
