The train man is teaching on believing in the Lord and receiving his promise. This is the conclusion of the two-part series. Also, the train man will present the radio show after. Verse 5 and Acts 8. Then Philip went down to Samaria and preached Christ unto the people. See? We can uh preach preaching Christ, who died for us, and now rose again, send it, and sit down on the right hand of God. Philip preached Christ. That's the emptiness that we long to receive from God. All these motivational speakers, they can motivate you and tell you this, you're gonna be rich, and you're gonna you know, all you have to do is uh get a little piece in my hand and God is not into money. He's uh into your soul being saved. And then he'll say to Jesus, he's the one. And then and Jesus says, Well done, my good and faithful servant. Because he stood up. Remember? He was standing on the right hand of God when Stephen Stephen was stoned after Stephen preached a powerful message to the people. He preached a powerful message about Christ, whom he who was crucified, died on the cross, in the tomb, rose again three days later, and ascended up and to be seated, to be sat down on the right hand of God.

Verse six and the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Phyllis spoke, spake. Hearing and seeing the miracles which he did, he did miracles, because he had the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost in him. For unclean spirit, crying with loud voices came out of many that were possessed with them, and many taken with palsy, and were laying and were healed, and there was great joy in that city. Of course we know about Simon the sorcerer, he uh wanted to receive this whole power of God, but he didn't know how to uh obtain it. 14. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John. So Peter and John went down and talked to Phil. Hey, Phil, what's going on? Uh yeah, he I'm giving them the word of God, but God is not allowing them to receive his spirit yet. Oh, okay, okay. And it says on the verse fifteen, who, when they come down, pray for them that they might receive the Holy Ghost. For as yet he was fallen upon none of them, only were baptized in the name of Yahshua, Lord Jesus. And when they lay their hands on them, they received the Holy Spirit. And eighteen, and when Simon saw that they were through laying of the hands, now he stepped back. Laying of the hands, they received the Holy Spirit. The people that wanted to receive the Holy Spirit. Simon, he stepped back and saw that Peter and John were giving them the people the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost. And Simon, when he saw that, offered him money. You cannot buy the Holy Ghost. That is God's spirit. That's why when Jesus said preachers, evangelists, and then they'll they'll detour that. What they will do is say, instead of paying for the Holy Ghost, pay we we want offering to build this building up. We want all and all we got to do is teach you to be motivated. I don't want to be motivated, I want to be convicted. I don't want to be encouraged and enlightened and uh having a good time. If I got sin in my life, I want to be forgiven. I want to be redeemed for my past history. I want to I want to hear God say, Well done, my good and faithful servant. I don't want to hear God say, Department of me, ye workers of iniquity, I never I don't want to hear that. I want to hear God saying, Well done, my good and faithful servant. Why? Because that gives you a fulfillment of his spirit in you. You can't pay for the Holy Spirit of the Holy Ghost. You cannot, you cannot pay for that. That is that don't cost nothing. You have to believe God. You have to believe on his son Jesus Christ who died on the cross. 19 says, saying, Give me, this is this is something I'm saying to Peter and John, give me also that power that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. I'll pay for the Holy Ghost. You can't pay for the Holy Ghost, you can't pay them. You can't pay to receive the Holy Ghost, you can't pay to receive the Holy Ghost. 20 said, But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lock in this matter, for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Most of these preachers, I can say one thing. Most of these preachers, when they start telling you that uh you ought to pay me for giving you the Holy Ghost, then you're not right before God. Jesus said it's not right for I'll come back to that. It's not right before God. 22 said, Repent therefore of this wickedness and pray, God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart may be forgiven. So in other words, Peter said, Repent and ask for forgiveness. Cleanse your heart. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. You will be saved. And whether or not you're going to receive the Holy Ghost, that's up to God. Oh God. Because God gives you the Holy Ghost, not through payment, not through money that you want to give to God or a preacher, because God is not the author of confusion. And twenty three says for I perceive that thou art in gall of bitterness and in bond of iniquity. twenty four saying then answered Simon and said, Pray ye that the Lord might lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me bitterness iniquity. And so twenty five said that and they when they had testified and preached the word of God, word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritan. And the angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Arise and go towards the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem to Gaza, which is tender. And he rose twenty seven, says And he rose and went, and behold a man of Ethiopia, a unit of great authority under Canais, Queen of Ethiopia, who has the charge of all her treasures and had come to Jerusalem for to worship. And okay, twenty eighth was returning Epiopian man was returning and sitting in his chair to read Isaiah the prophet. The spirit said to Philip, go near and join thyself to the chair. And Philip ran hither to him and heard him read the prophet Isaiah and said Understand it thou what thou reading? Do you understand what you're reading? That would most people want to unbelieve. I'm reading the word of God. I'm believing the word of God. I'm understanding the word of God. But some people don't want don't understand the word of God what they reading. And so Philip comes in, asked the question. The answer that the man gave him was and he said, How can I except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. So Philip came and sat with the man. The man, the eunuch from Ethiopia, showed Philip what he was reading. Verse thirty two said the place of the scripture which he read was this he was led as a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb dumb before his ship his shirts, so he opened not his mouth and his humility, humiliation. His judgment was taken away. And who declared his generation for his life is taken from the earth. Remember Jesus was saying, I lay down my life for my friend. I have time to take it up, I have time to lay it down. This too is a commandment of my father. So Isaiah said the same thing. His life was laid down for his friends, for the people that is in sin so that they can be saved. Verse thirty four, the eunuch answered Philip and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this of himself or of some other man. Thirty five said and Philip opened his mouth and began the same scripture and preached unto him Jesus Yacher. And thirty six said, and as they went their way they came unto a certain water, and the eunuch said, See, here is water. Would thou hinder me to be baptized? Philip said, If thou believe it with all thine heart thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ, your sure Messiah, is the Son of God. thirty eight said he and he commanded the cherry to stand still, and he went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. thirty nine said and when they came up out of the water the spirit of the Lord caught away Philip that the eunuch saw him no more. And when he went on his way rejoicing, but he got that emptiness out of his spirit and was filled with Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost. I'm gonna skip into chapter nine verse one and Saul yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciple went unto the high priest and desire of him let us did unmastered to the synagogue that if he found any of this way, in other words, preaching Christ, preaching God through word of him preaching the real truth about God, whether they were man or woman. So not only the man might be guilty of preaching Christ, but also the woman is guilty of preaching Christ. That he bring may bring them bound unto Jerusalem. So that was Saul wanted to do. Three said, and as he journeyed near came near Damascus, and suddenly there shine around about him a light from heaven. Not a little flashlight or a little lamp in his face with a light from heaven. You know how big light uh heaven lights are? Heavenly lights are lights that came from heaven. I mean God told Moses here, if you want to see me, I want you to stand in the crypt of the rock as I go by, that's me. For God hit him in the crack of the rock. When God went by, he noticed that oh Lord, that's his glory.

I mean it's I'm gonna plant it, I'm gonna plant it. God is so powerful. A light from heaven and he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him Saul Saul, why perse persecuted thou me? And he said, Who art thou Lord? Now I'm gonna show you a difference and I'm gonna close it out. Who art art thou Lord? And the Lord said I am Yahshua, which is Jesus, whom thou persecuted. It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Kicking against the prick pricks mean that you is uh going against God's word, his salvation among the people, his deliverance, his teaching the word of God to people and getting them saved because they want they want the they want peace in their heart. They don't want to be all upset, mad, frustrated, angry, especially against God and his son who's sitting on the right hand. That's why giving he baptized him and given the Holy Ghost. And it's hard to kick against that. Sick said, and he stumbling and astonished, saying, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the man was journeying with him, stood speechless.

And Saul arose from the earth, and when his eyes were open, he saw no man. God was open, didn't see nobody. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight. So in other words that said that he was God with the light blinded him because of his ignorance towards Christ. Philip priest Christ. Stephen priest Christ. Peter priest Christ. The old priest Christ he will die and he he was buried in the uh in the tomb. You say, go look at the tomb. Is he there now? Oh no he's not. So how can you say to all these people that are listening to you that Christ is buried in the tomb, whereas he's sitting on the right hand of God, the Son of God first, Son of Man next. He made he died as a man, but he rose as a God, Son of God, and sat Oh Jesus at the right hand of him. Let me finish this on. Three days without sight and neither did eat nor drink. And there was a certain disciple in the master's name, Ananias, and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold I am here, Lord. There's a difference. There's a difference because the man of God recognized God's voice. Lord, here I am. Lord, here I am.

Whereas Saul said, Who art thou, Lord? Who are you? Now Saul didn't know the Lord. He didn't know Jesus. He knows some sort of God that was in the old testament. But he forgot to understand the rest of the story, saying, I know all about Christ. But no, no. Verse 5 in chapter 9, who art thou, Lord? You the one that trying to kick against the pressure, trying to uh kick against my word that I'm teaching the people of God. And I said, Lord, I am here. I am here, Lord. And then Levin said, and the Lord said unto him, Arise and go into the street, which is called straight. Now, there's a relationship between being saved and a street name. God, through Jesus Christ.

Then cometh Jesus to a city of Samaria, which is called Sidcar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well, and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water, Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.
