SPEAKER_02Hello, hello, hello, be the ballers. Well, Creed. Ho ho ho ho ho Adonis. He's ready, and so are we, because we have the winner of our second tattoo trophy event of the season. All wrapped up. Time with a bow on the weekend, boys, and our AFL tipping champion. He will be revealed a little later in the show. Yeah, good day, everyone. Great to be here yet again. What about those Aussies? Came back and gave those little Bangladeshis a little kick on the backside and said, Yeah, okay, you might have got us, caught us with our pants down up there in that first test. Cop a bit of this, a bit of red leather, sniff that, yes, yes. So we absolutely rolled him, killed him.
SPEAKER_01Yes, mate, but there's no need to be like that. You should be beating Bangladesh. Poor buggers. They come out here, we have they have to play in Darwin and Cairns and places like this, mate. You know, there's three men and his dog, mate. And the dog doesn't even want to go, mate, especially if he's a cattle dog. But yeah, that was pretty good. How about those tigers on the weekend?
SPEAKER_02Oh, they were excellent, weren't they? I can't stand the bastards at the moment, the Tigers, lifelong Tigers fan, as you know, fellas, and they lose eight in the row, and we're getting down to the nitty-gritty in our tipping this season everywhere. And and the bloody tigers decide to produce over the number one team in the comp currently, on their home patch no less, and win twenty-five twenty-four.
SPEAKER_04It must have been a little bit of joy in that hard rock heart of yours, Ron, to see your Tigers do that.
SPEAKER_02Well, there was, but it's mixed feelings. Even when you win you lose. You know what I mean? All the tipping comps, uh the roosters get done. Jock Madden's kicked a bloody field goal from thirty out on one leg. He he couldn't kick a goal, couldn't get within a bull's roar of those goalposts kicking goals earlier in the game. Anyway, I am happy on one hand that the Tigers won, but I am deeply affected with my tipping comps uh just tragic really.
SPEAKER_00That was uh pretty damn good, I gotta say, but uh so was uh a few of the other things that happened over the weekend. Lots of sport on, but what about those Sydney Swans in a bit of uh froth and bubble, as we like to say.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they are, they're in a bit of deep deep poo at the moment, aren't they? But maybe it's been blown out of proportion, maybe it isn't, but uh oh I'll tell you what, the fallout's big, but I dad didn't help those guys in the AFL who tipped uh swapped their tip from the swans to the North Melbourne kangaroos. The swans were missing five players. The kangaroos still couldn't jump out of their own bloody way. Yeah, that did affect uh the AFL tipping in the bee the ball. But we're not gonna start there today, boys. You know where we start always, and that is BTB nineteen Big Basket Bit Triple B's. Racing on the weekend, gentlemen, we were down at Sandown in Melbourne, which my goodness, they had a lot of rain last week. There were scratchings everywhere, and uh it turned into a bit of a debacle of a meeting, really. Doombin up north, and then of course out at Ramwick where all the good horses started to come back, the group one Winkstakes, plus a couple of other group twos, group threes, and uh I believe you were out there on Saturday. I saw a few pictures floating around Mario, and uh you were smack bang in the middle of them.
SPEAKER_01Yes, it was a great day, mate, the beautiful early spring sunshine, cold beers, good race horses, a great company. I was out there with uh Highwire Wheel uh and big top El, and uh we had a great day, mate. Yeah, did you back any winners out there? Did the boys back any? I think Hoi Wire Wheel had a little bit of luck. El maybe but carnival. He was there too, and he was uh he had a shocking day, mate. Shocking. He was very lucky to even catch an Uber at the end of the day, and he was going that bad.
SPEAKER_02Oh, and how was the travel home?
SPEAKER_01It was a long day at all, Mario. It was a very large dime, mate. We retired from the race track at the end of the day down to uh the Doncaster Hotel.
SPEAKER_00Ah, the boys will remember that from the Sydney tour. We had one of our best nights ever upstairs there on the Saturday night. Yes, mate. I went up there and had a look and it was uh nice to bring back the memories.
SPEAKER_01But uh was a big night and we caught an Uber home and uh it created all kinds of problems. I'll tell you what.
SPEAKER_04And how was that so uh Well the driver he was French. And how could you tell this, Mario?
SPEAKER_01That was the way he kisses, mate. And we were there but and Big L he could not get his seatbelt on, mate. He is a barge ass, I tell you what, and we had to stop the Uber. He pushed Carnival out of the car just so he could get his seatbelt between his bum crack in the middle of the back seat and come home. And then he sounded mate very, very like my sister and it's scary actually. I'm starting to wonder if my sister is actually my sister because Big Dobell he was speaking like her and uh you know I had to do two or three takes sometimes, but uh so uh we had the oh the Hilbert driver he even laughed once or twice after all the problems we had, and it uh it was a great night, a great day, uh, and that was it.
SPEAKER_02Alright, thank you for that recital there, Mario. Let's get over to what actually happened in the Triple Bs on the weekend. And uh I tell you, it was a huge week for Dukesro Daniel. He is coming. Aren't the cattle dogs on fire this year?
SPEAKER_01Yes, they are, mate. We're going very well, and I can't wait to get to a partner of the year.
SPEAKER_00Ah, you're not going that good. You're only just in front of us.
SPEAKER_02I think they might be a little bit more than just in front now. We'll get to that later as well. So Dukes Row Daniel won ten point four. He had a very, very good day. Uh, and he went well in Sydney. He picked up 43 there, but he was great across the board. Uh he also picked up some points in Melbourne, 14.8, not great, but he had a terrific day up there in Doomban, Brisbane, and uh did extremely well. 51.8. That's not double points, that's just off the deck. So well done to Dukesro Daniel. Roger that Diva, he was in second on 99. He just held out Robbo's pocket rocket by, you know, less than a handful of points, 95.7, and then there's a bunch of Wranglers who couldn't quite get into the or get on to the Dais. It was a pretty good effort from the Wranglers, four of them there, but uh, all honors go to Dukes Roy Daniel. It was a fabulous week for him. All right. Guess what, boys? Next week we have our first buddy elimination of the whole year. It's gonna be sensational. Huge is on the chopping block. It's eight weeks coming. It's gonna be terrible. We'll get to that in a second. Monthly medal. So one more week into the monthly medal, and Robo's pocket rocket with his very consistent month. He has taken over the lead on 343. Rhinestone Graham, 329, so he's only 14 behind. That's more than doable in this final week coming up, week nine. Gold Ligger Gaverby, he's another 10 points back. Uh, and then we have a couple of their Girias stuff, Craig's the 80s, Dude Barnes' boy Dave. Now, those six are all over 300 points for the month, which is excellent. If you work out a month on uh what you're trying to do here, you'd need about 265 points a month, if possible, over four weeks. And these boys are well in front of that. It's a five-week block, of course, but they're all in contention. Now, let's have a look at the yearly leaderboard. With that week that Robbo's pocket rocket had, and Gold digger Gaverby had a little bit of a down week. Uh so Robbo's taken the overall lead on 669 or so. So he's about eight points in front of Golddigger Gaverby in second, and Rhinestone Graham is six forty-one in third. About 20 points off Gaverby in that runner-up spot at this moment, with 40 weeks to go, of course. So there's a lot to do.
SPEAKER_04The top hit's looking pretty good though. Uh I tell you what, there's been some movers and checkers, hasn't there?
SPEAKER_02Well, there has. Joshaby next. He's still there. He's hanging in there, Joshaby. I think there was a few who expected him to fall off the tipping perch a bit quicker than this, but he's in fourth spot on 632, making it two Crocs in that top eight. Wynn Danielson, 6'17, he's the first of the shooters. Uh, and the bottom three, Dukesrow Daniel has absolutely rocketed into that top eight, 594 points now. He's in sixth spot. Manscaper Nads, who has continued on his good form from last season for those King Browns, and boy, do they need a hand in some of these comps. Yeah, it's the same tail as always.
SPEAKER_00We've got half doing very well, half not doing anything at all, doing sweet FA, let's be honest. But uh he's done well there, Nadsey. He's leading the charge, but there's a long gap from him to the next King Brown, it's got to be said.
SPEAKER_02That there is, and that is a concern, especially going into this first elimination. Uh, and Barnese's boy Dave, he makes it two shooters in the top eight. So two shooters, two cattle dogs, two crocs in that top eight, one Wrangler, one King Brown. Right, down the bottom of the ladder, this is it. Uh, you can hear the doom day drums coming ba boom ba boom ba boom ba boom because uh there are four guys right now who are looking death in the triple B's, straight down the barrel of a gun. Warwick Farmfeller, he's in fourth last 351. Frogman Grant, third last, 308. Nickabee rising. Oh, he just cannot find form at all this year, the big fella in the tipping. 299, he is second last, and the skipper of the King Browns, he at the single digit has just simply not worked, and he is on two eighty-six and needs to make up a lot of ground to try and get out of that uh you know quagmire that is the Red Sea down the bottom.
SPEAKER_00Yes, and there's Corporal Crowbar, he's only three points in front of Warwick Farm Fellows, so he's not out of the woods, and Grunton growing just above him, so there's four King Browns, my god, in the bottom six.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it doesn't get much better than that. There's six in the bottom twelve. Uh, and they really need to find some form because as we know, that uh red water, they just keep rising and rising as the season goes on. Uh so it'll be interesting to see how that all pans out. Uh uh, there's a Wrangler in there, line tamer Lockheed, uh there's a shooter, come later, Ronste. They can't be comfortable either. And uh Erica Beer rives for the Cattle Dogs. He's done quite well because he three weeks ago he looked like he was gone, but I do believe he may be uh doing a bit of form and getting a fraction of help there from his teammates in the Cattle Dog.
SPEAKER_03Dally Am runner.
SPEAKER_02He docky, I'll take over this one for you, Ron. Give you a bit of a breather. So the three points, of course, last week, Dukes Ray Daniel, Roger that diva two points, Robbo's Pocket Rocket one point.
SPEAKER_00So after eight weeks now, there's 48 points gone into the Dally M's.
SPEAKER_02This is officially known as the Dally M runner-up metal.
SPEAKER_00It's probably a copyright issue, but uh, but everyone refers to him with DallyMs, of course. Did you really have to add that in there? No, I didn't, but I'd just like the boys to know what's going on. Gold Digger Gaverby, he's out in front on six for those crocs.
SPEAKER_02Robbo's Pocket Rocket, he's joined by Dukesray Daniel with a bullet. He's on five. Uh, and both of them are on five, I should say. Rhinestone, Graham, Josh will be next, tank rider, Jace Win Danielson. They're all on three. All right there. I might just go back to the team points if I can for the basket bets, uh, as we didn't cover that off. So just with the triple B's, Cattle Dogs are on top on nine twelve in second, the shooters seven eighty-nine, third or wrangler seven fifty-three, the crocs in fourth on six seventy-two, and then we have a massive drop off drop-off to the King Browns on four zero two.
SPEAKER_00Ah, it's just it just keeps happening, doesn't it? Go round and round and round, and it is so fucking boring.
SPEAKER_02Yep, it's a bit like that at times for the poor old King Browns, but uh in the DallyMs we look at their ladder now. Uh the Cattle Dogs on top again, five twenty-two. Woof woof. Uh the Crocs 481, snap snap. King Browns 459. I'm not doing it. Fair enough. Uh Wranglers 455. I think I'll abstain as well. And the shooters are four thirty-five. Pew, pew. I just like doing it too. Uh, you know, we might not be winning, but you can see there, apart from the cattle dogs, the next four teams, it must change bloody weakly at the moment. It does. We're still early in the season and it's a traffic jam there. The King Browns are going okay, but in the Dally Am runner-ups, because they do have four or five gun players, and those boys are getting points regularly. So well done, you fellas who are doing that for the King Browns at the moment. But that's the Dally Ams. So the Triple B's, Dally Ms, the Cattle Dogs are out on top and dominating.
SPEAKER_05You, you lay off that catch up date. Women weaken legs.
SPEAKER_00Punter of the year party. Women weaken legs, alright. You just gotta ask those swannies, don't you?
SPEAKER_01I think we also need to get some more clips, mate, some new ones. You know, we're missing some classic lines out of those movies. There's about a thousand of them.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we will get on to that, you know. I must break you. That's one. I must break you. Yeah, that's one that we need to get in there too. I just I just got gave myself chills. Yeah, well you're flicking your nipples while you said it. I was not thinking very much. All right, punter of the year, boys, and we only had one successful punter on the weekend, I believe.
SPEAKER_01Is that the case, Mario? Well of course, mate. And it was a cattle dog. Yeah, baby, we are finally off the mark, mate. On trend whiz. He took an NRL multi, mate, and it got up. It never looked like losing until it won.
SPEAKER_02It's been a dry spill, there's no doubt about it for the uh Cattle dogs. It's taken them nine weeks to find a winner out of what's at uh eighteen punts, but they got there. He took the Warriors head to head, Bing, Bulldogs head to head, ting, Dallan Watteny was a losniak for the New Zealand Hyphens. He was an any time try scorer, like a halasema. But then it all came down to that uh game yesterday, the Tigers v. The Roosters, and I think everyone was riding it. Uh Robert Toyer. Now, who if he's not one of the best centers running around in rugby league, I'd pick him in my team any day of the week. But the Roosters refused to throw that ball to him. And who's that other player out on the wing next to him, Mario?
SPEAKER_01No wacker in the Waza, mate.
SPEAKER_02Yep, that's him. I always struggle with that name, but you seem to have no problems with it at all.
SPEAKER_01No, I don't, mate. It's just the way that you attack it. And it's now wackener in the wasa, a rule that Sandy has for life, as we know. But uh, you know, I actually don't mind it.
SPEAKER_02I'm sure you don't. Alright, so that was a wonderful effort. So 190 bucks jumps in for Ontrend Wes. Chucky Norris, one of our longtime tourists. And uh Wes now he shoots up to that ladder spot of number two. He's behind Smitty Wynn, who had that unbelievably hot start at the start of the season, of course. Uh so on trend Wes now into second spot overall. But apart from that, she was pretty bleak out there for the Tipsters. We got a few that got closed, as usual, uh, but it wasn't to be. Your second tip strap was Ericaby arrives. Uh, how did he go, Mario?
SPEAKER_01Well, I was talking to Carnival, and the first tip that uh he sent through Erichabee was a scratching. So Carnival he sent him a message back saying, Dear Eric, please pick a different horse as that one was scratched. And Eric, he came straight back to Carnival and gave him another horse that was scratched. So Carnival sort of gave up because he was heading out the door to the races, and I don't blame him, you know, you had to put the bag of fruit on, the tie, all that stuff. So Ericaby, he had two bets for two scratchings, and he lost his ten, and we keep the ten, if you know what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02Well that's what happened. So that goes back into the kitty and uh Ericaby arrives, goes back to the end of the line for the catadogs. Tried hard the big fella, but just couldn't quite pick a horse that was actually going to the barriers and running. Okay, let's head over to you. How do the shooters go on the weekend for you, Lori? Uh Barnes' boy Dave, he had a great week last week out Taltani Fields Forever. Uh, but this week he took a couple of horses, blazon boots, and uh they never caught fire. An exit fee, and that's what he's charged when he leaves most pubs, I believe. Uh he was out there fishing on the weekend, I think, somewhere out near Wolgot. Uh uh it's had a bar in its name, and I'm I'm sure it's probably the only uh drip you know water space in the entire Australia that's got a bar in the middle of it, and Campbell would find it. So come later, Ronsti. He also was first up in the saddle this season. His poor bug has probably fallen asleep waiting for a turn. Uh he finally got in there and went Bombay boom. I'm not sure if that's actually something that he aspires to down the line, or it's uh a type of gin he might like you know drinking. Uh but it didn't matter because it uh did nothing, and uh Ronstey, he now goes back go back to sleep, Ronnie. Uh we'll call you again when it's your time. You got Smitty winning front of you, you might be get back by December if uh Smitty does what he did. Alright, uh Strength and Johnner, he did an all-up for the Crocs, and uh I tell you what, the Carnival's a little bit slow getting these out to everyone uh on Saturday. Uh there's never a concern for you new rookies. The bets go on, uh, but if he's busy, he doesn't send out the bets to the group sometimes, especially when he's had six six schooners in, which he was at that stage, uh, with some of these. So Strength and Johnna, he uh Melbourne raced three number nine, he took an all-up as he normally does, both for a win, uh much to Craigsie's dismay. Um, and that was called Think Giant. And I believe that every time he's about to make love, that's what he uh closes his eyes uh really hard and says to himself. Uh and then the second one was uh Sydney race five, number five, Bonnie Face, and that's normally what he looks like at the end of those love making sessions. So he did no good there, Strength and Johnna. Uh the other one up was Mickey McKenna. Uh Mikaby was uh he must have been hanging out with Ericaby on Saturday morning because he sent through a trifecta with no race or number or um any anything for Carnival to decipher. Uh, and so he ended up having that three dollars on uh Stephen Crichton to score a try, which he did not. Uh and his other bet, uh Mikaby, let's find it here on the list. There we go. Uh he had a head-to-head multi, the knights who got beat at home by those Seagulls. Uh the Warriors, who who uh did okay, of course, and the Bulldogs, but the Knights getting rolled, uh putting the kibosh on that one. Uh that leaves us with the King Browns punters for the weekend, and over to you, uh Ben. What do you got there from your boys?
SPEAKER_00Uh General Buckley's was first one up, and he would be absolutely ecstatic that the EPL season is underway. That makes probably three out of the 48 beater ballers on tour this year. Uh, he took Man United, Not Forest, Sunderland, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Man City, and I believe two or three of them got flogged. Uh, there was no collect on that. He did well the first punt up, but he lost a lobster on the weekend. So if anyone sees it, please return it to its Rafaelana. Uh, the other one up was Mustard Key Matt. Oh my lord, he went close to the mustard. Uh, you can't cut the mustard when it comes to pit uh tipping, punting, or anything to do with it. Sharks, minus six point five. Well, they dead set look like gummy sharks for most of that game, but they got there by eight, so he was a big ting after that one, as you like to say, Mario. I do like to do that. Ting! Well, that was Mustard's first one. So very nice. The Roosters, minus 22.5. Well, we know how that ended up. Uh he did have Billy Smith as the only time trash scorer. So unluckily for him, the Roosters didn't even win. How does First not beat Laster?
SPEAKER_02Oh, don't go there. Don't go there. And that of course brought us uh to Highwire Will, who was backing up after a small win in last week where he had Steel Will into Brave Heart, and he collected 22. So yeah, he had a lobster this week after the $10 mark the week before. He took a racing multi, uh, cruiserweight, which was knocked out uh early. No good. Sydney race for number one, King of the Sea. He must have been in contact with Cambo. Uh his second bet was an EPL multi, Tottenham, uh, to win the game, and and they got close. They only lost by three goals. And man, CD win. I don't know uh what happened in that game because after that first one, it didn't really matter. And the next one who got so close, Robbo's Pocket Rocket playing 1662. Get this six any time try scorers in those two games yesterday. Mulatalo, Ting, Katoa, Ting, Phil Sammy, or as they like to say on the television, Phil's army. Uh, I've only ever seen Phil by himself, but if he's got an army, that would make him very powerful indeed.
SPEAKER_01Uh I think he's got two armies, mate. I've seen him play.
SPEAKER_02Well, maybe he does, mate. Uh Billy Smith, yes. Robert Toyer, when they finally went to that right side in the second half, yes. And all we needed was Cody Ramsey. The fill-in fullback for Tedesco, who is still sucking it and out there on the sidelines. Uh, he did a toenail three weeks ago, and he's still there waiting for that toenail to grow back, or he probably wants to paint it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, geez, you've been hushed there, mate. Not wrong. Uh giving it to the roosters.
SPEAKER_02Hey, oh Teddy, he's a stalwart. He used to be a tiger years ago, and uh you know what happened there. So I have uh, you know, Teddy, good on you. Yeah, he's up there with Mitchell Moses, another bloody big sook. Uh there we go. So uh no good with Cody Ramsey. Would have been a great collector there, about another 160 would have jumped in. But that's the story. All QDOS and honor this week goes to On-Trend Wes and those Cattledog boys, because that has shaken up the table big time.
SPEAKER_04Smit Ewin remains on top, of course. As you alluded to a little earlier, On-Trend Wes has just really jumped up into that second spot, which means uh everyone's points go down, and as it is one of the pillar events of the tour, that's triple points. So every time there's a move or a tremor or someone throws a stone in the B uh punter of the year, pond, excuse me, uh, there's ripples everywhere. General Barclays after his loss, he slides back into third on 89, but still going very well. Big win Neil, Josh will be next, 55-42. So in the top five, those two crocs finish it and round it out. Six spot, Barnes' boy Dave 37, Water Tank Matt 32, Granton Growing 32, copy that, Condor 26, Gold Digga Gavabit 24. So they're all going quite well. Everyone else is at zero or down.
SPEAKER_02Yep, now looking at that ladder, here early Harry, who is in the punter's seat this week, he finally gets to place the buttocks in the pig skin. Uh, he will be having a punt, and that means that everyone will have had a punt by then. And once that happens, we get a pretty fair idea of where we're going in the THC premiership. As far as teams are going in the punter of the year, the shooters way out in top 867. Uh Crocs running second 776. King Brown's third. Going very well in the uh punter of the year. They just need to get that tipping right, uh, 708. Wrangler's 626 and uh Cattledogs, they are breathing a sigh of relief. They're not a bunch of losers anymore. Uh, one of them on the weekend, at least Chucky, 552. That gets the Cattle Dogs uh starting to look upwards instead of downwards. Now the running turtle for the year after week eight, minus one three nine, not too bad at all. That's doable to get back into the black very shortly. Uh, and the team strike rate 18 out of 80. So we're getting 23% in collects, which is up from around our average of 15 to 16%. And on tramwers gets into that biggest collect column. He joins Smitty Win. Both of them have collected in their best bets of this year $190.
SPEAKER_00Okay, who are the panners up next week, Ron? Well, why don't we start with who's up for the King Browns, Ben? That's a wonderful idea. Transetter Todd, he's back. It could be anything. He is a former champion, and I think he's got the biggest collect in the history of the beat of the ball. We know he goes wide and large, and uh Trendsetter Todd, it's just the way he likes it. Uh he's off ten bucks and Manscaper Nads. He doesn't mind searching for a bit of value too, so it could be a good week for the King Browns if these two get their act together.
SPEAKER_02All right, over to you there, Laurie. Who's up for you guys next week in the yellow and blue colours of the shooters?
SPEAKER_00Oh, Josh and the sergeant. He's back. He's back in the saddle, ten bucks. He's uh he's gonna have to do some work to get off the smurf. And here early, Harry, he finally gets up. The last shooter of the year.

SPEAKER_02I'm pretty sure he'd put it on his phone or he'd just say No, he just sends it through the carnival. He does all that for him.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, that's right. How good's that? So uh does he actually get to do anything with a lobster? And it depends on what he's got down at the local fish and chip shop up there on the uh Sunshine Coast. I'm sure they're top quality lobsters.
SPEAKER_02All right, I don't even know where that really went. Lion Tamalocky, ten bucks. He's up for the Wranglers. And who's your second one over there, Sandy? Uh looking all, you know, lasers at me.
SPEAKER_04I don't get to see a lot sometimes. And uh Lion Tim Alockey, I like saying that word. Uh those three words together. Big top Al, he's back.
SPEAKER_01That could be anything, mate. Believe me, if he gets that big budge ass going, he could tip a winner here, back a winner. Uh, and the Wranglers they probably need one now as well. They're the cattle dogs.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's it, of course, the case, because we're gonna move on to the stable wars, are we not?

All right, Stable Wars, having a quick look at where the land lays in this section of our competitions. Black caviar still out there on top, of course. Nicholas Snowden has now moved up to second, courtesy of that great bet by on trend we're. So they've gone from second last and last wearing the waiters' vests or fighting to avoid the waiters' vests. Nicholas Snowden has now said, no, we shall not be wearing those vests this year, you wouldn't think. Uh and that is, of course, of great relief to Crazy 80s, Duke Casey's Paul, Rhinestone, Graham, and Warwick Farm Feller. Uh the Black Caviar stable, we better give them a shout out. Uh, they're on top. Uh Smithy Wynn, Major Mortar Wynn Daniel Sun, come later, Ronste, and here early Harry. Uh then we've got Daly Martin and Spice Girls, both the Croc Stables, three and four, uh, five Woods Waterhouse for the King Browns, six Mickels and Hayes Wranglers, seven Norman Cummings shooters, eight Wink stable for the King Browns, McElroy Waller in ninth, and they were up obviously a plate higher than that last week. So they'll start to be uh sweating a fraction too. They've got a 12-point gap on El's Freedman Stable, and at this point uh they will be wearing the vest and serving us all beers in lovely downtown cans somewhere up there next June long weekend. Uh so that's the lay of the land for Stable Wars.

SPEAKER_02Well, that's because it's an information podcast mainly, Mario. Thank you very much. And we throw in as bit what we can, but we've got a lot to get through every week. We've got a lot of information to pass on out there. And as you do know, there is a uh something in the pipeline coming down the track soon where we will be able to do what we bloody well want uh in a different environment, uh, not just for the beat of ball, but for other things.

SPEAKER_04Uh well is it true that uh Mikabi McKenna, the skipper from the Crocs, of course, he uh tracked the whom one of our members, uh John ab John B. Stifler the other day.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I love the stiff one. I'm sure you do. Yep, there was a shout out from the Stiffy uh over to everyone else, and uh hello to him, of course. Uh let's get on to the THC Premiership, and I've got to tell you, this is getting interesting in this already. We're nine weeks in now, and so things are remarkably different. Uh after that second lot of points from the AFL tipping has been dumped in from the Tattoo Trophy. So that goes, those points from the final ladder in the AFL tipping go into both the Tattoo Trophy, which is the individual event, of course, which then goes into your MVP overall as well. Uh, and also, but more importantly, for the teams event, the THC Premiership. And with that, we drum roll, please. Crocs are on top 2-3-9-9. Now they have a 200-point lead over the shooters, who have managed to wrestle back second spot off the Wranglers for now. They're on 2-1-9-7. Only 14 points away to the Wranglers, 2-1-8-3. So they're they're very close. Those three teams are good. But look at this. The Cattle Dogs off the back of those massive changes to the punter of the year ladder and the tipping coming in from the AFL, they are up to 2-1-4-5. So they're not even 40 points off the Wranglers. So those four teams, uh, a dead set locked in a battle to the death at the moment. It's wonderful competition. Uh, and then of course, we have the King Browns.
SPEAKER_00I can't believe it. 1690. So we're already 700 points off. That's I don't know what we're going to do here. Ryan's going to have to uh come up with some sort of strategy to uh charge home with the boys. Well you've always got the uh extra team coming in, Nick.
SPEAKER_02That's gonna juice things up a bit too for Beat the Ball 20. So obviously uh we'll be voting on that. I believe it's October. Is that correct, Ron? Uh that is correct. In October we go through that whole new process where the team name will be chosen by everyone. Uh the team logo will be revealed and the new team captain will be also revealed. Uh so it's gonna be a huge month in October. And you're right, when that sixth team comes in, uh do you reckon there'll be any boys looking to jump ship from the King Browns?
SPEAKER_01But aren't there rules on who can be the skipper, etc., like that? Because the player drafting the capitan of the new team is gonna be very important.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's right. But I think there might be, it depends, you know. Uh have we have have you heard any whispers as Carnival said? Anything about who's put their hand up?
SPEAKER_02Well, I do know that there were four or five boys that uh signaled their intent at the end of last tour. Uh, obviously that's all been let to uh sort of just lay there for a little while because they've been getting through everything else. And with Darwin announced last week as the not Darwin, my goodness, I think I may have wanted to go to Darwin, but I won't be. Uh Perth announced as the twentieth uh anniversary tour place. Uh I think now the attention turns to that and it'll be interesting because it'll be the probably the biggest player draft in the history of the Beatleball uh next season. Uh so it should be very good.
SPEAKER_01Just going on that mate, what was the general consensus on Perth uh winning as the uh the the bid for to host the Beatleball tour in the Beatleball 20?
SPEAKER_02Well it it was fairly quiet on the chat group, and I noticed I thought Lyle was getting back out there this week to uh you know get some gossip and get some uh inside info and all that sort of stuff, Laurie.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I had a chat to Lyle about it, but uh yeah, he's he's at home. He's just had some rhinoplasty done. Getting a reduction, was he? No, no, getting it enlarged. Uh you know, the bigger the nose the better. You know what I say about big noses.
SPEAKER_02Large handkerchiefs. Yeah, something like that. Yeah, so uh but I d I don't know, but it was a close vote, wasn't it? Well there was twenty-three that voted for the Sunshine Coast and twenty that voted for Perth. Um it's not the first time that's happened, but it's not often that it does. There's an anomaly like that. But the last three year places we've voted on have all been very tight, and I don't think anyone's upset with Perth. You've got plenty of time to get yourself organized, uh and it should be a good tour, and it'd be a great place to have that 20th. But as it is, the THC Premiership, getting back to that, uh we just digressed. Uh Crocs 2399 out in front for uh by 200 odd from the shooters. Alright, gentlemen, we are at the highlight of the day. As we have discussed previously here, the AFL tipping competition has wound up for Be the Ball 19, and our champion is none other than Strength and Jonna. Snap snap croc croc. He has held everyone out in what was an absolute rim-tickling finish to the competition. Oh, it was indeed going into that last week. He and Tank Rider, they were neck for neck, going blow for blow and everything in between. And six points, strength and johnna. He escaped with tank rider Jace, he had to settle for five, and that left means there was one point in the final round and one point overall for the season.
SPEAKER_00Strength and Johnner victorious 180 versus tank rider Jason second, 179. That's the story of the King Browns, isn't it? Every time it goes down to the War, we seem to just just be missing.
SPEAKER_02It was a tough weekend, especially with all that Swans drama in there. Uh Craig's Carnival finished third on five as well. I I know for a fact that he was torn whether to stick with the Swans or go to the uh Kangaroos. He had to make up a point or two, so he went the Kangaroos and that failed abysmally. Uh next of Win Nath, fourth spot, the first shooter up there. Wonderful effort. He got six as well for the week, and that that that was a bloody good score for the final round of the AFL. The top score for the final week was Robo's pocket rocket. He got seven. So uh for these boys up top to be getting their sixes and fives, that's about standard for it. Uh Mustard Key Matt finished in fifth, Sideshows Sam sixth. So that was a wonderful, wonderful competition, and congratulations to Strength and Johnner. He gets his name up there on the champions' boards, of course, to be ever etched into the history of the Beat the Ball tour. Second time he's won it, so that's excellent. Last year was next to Win Nath. So he had a pretty good effort to finish fourth, uh, trying to defend that title. The team's event going for it over the entire competition. This is where the Crocs have improved markedly, uh, Beathball 19 versus the last couple of seasons. Uh they generally gave away big starts through these AFL and NRL tipping competitions and Super Coach are not this year. The Crocs finished on top with 227 in the AFL tipping. The Cattle Dogs were second on 162, so a really good effort there from the Cattle Dogs. Rhinestone, Graham, Dukesrow, and Leber all finished in the top 10. Uh the Wranglers, 157. They had a couple of good ones up top. They skipper sideshow Salmon Carnival, but then they fell away pretty much. Oh, they've also got a stack of rookies coming in, and as we know, the rookies had to start late and they're at a distinct disadvantage in these early comps, but that's just part of tall life. You know, the comps start, that's that's how the season's run. Yeah, it is, and and I've got I'm sure they've got no problems with it, but as we know, when you you have three or four rookies in your team, uh you are going to suffer early in the season. Uh that's not to say but those points can't be made up later in the season. Um King Brown's 140, and uh the shooters, uh they didn't go too well in the tipping. 134. Now there were 40 people, uh 40 members out of the 48 beater ballers who went in it. So there's eight players who did not score a point. Uh now, with those points now going into the Tattoo Trophy, we better have a look at that and and what the new standings are after the second of 12 events has now gone into the individual Tattoo Trophy point scoring.

SPEAKER_02As you know, if you won the AFL tipping, you get 40 points. 40 starters, so you get 40 points for that event, and and that was well done, strengthened Jonna, and that's what he got. So that's ripped him right up that ladder now after two events into fifth spot overall on 62 points. Second was tank rider Jace, 39 points. That's taken him up into about the top dozen or so. So that was a nice little earn there for him and the King Browns and Carnival, he had 38 points for running third, and it went all the way down to one point. Spin Smith Liam, who had to start a long way behind everyone else, he gained a point for the Wranglers. Great teamwork to see that there. Uh, but those top three. So overall now on the Tattoo trophy. Roger that Diva, he is out in front. He had 42 points for the open, which was a second place finish, and he's finished with 28 points for the AFL tipping. So he's out on 70 points in the lead. He's taken over from Smitty Wynn. He had 41 for the open, 25 for AFL, so that gets him to 66. And Dukes Row Daniel, he is a bit of a surprise, you know. He's he's shown ability since day one, let's be honest. He's on 64.5 points in third.
SPEAKER_04They're all very tight up the top there, and as we know these things, we've got some big events coming, such as the spring champion tips to Rimbo, Sydney and Melbourne, the Melbourne Cup there event, uh, and also we've got the couple more golfing events later on in the season. So and they have big swings in them because uh such big giant fields, uh, and it's gonna be very tight, I would imagine, right down to the wire.
SPEAKER_02Well, last year it went very tight down to the wire. Uh, and this year, well, you've got three crocs sitting in uh fifth, sixth, and seventh. So joining strength and John of Goldigger Gaver be big win kneel. Rhinestone Graham's squished in there in fourth spot, so he's having a tremendous season, uh, a Grand Slam champion.
SPEAKER_01We have to say that every time, mate.
SPEAKER_02Yes, we do. He's one of our Grand Slammers. We should mention the other Grand Slammer then, then Roger that Diva. He's up top.
SPEAKER_01Oh, we don't have to mention a croc.
SPEAKER_02Yes, we do, while ever I'm here. Uh, and our other third Grand Slam champion is Carnival. So the three Grand Slam champions are all in that top ten. Um, and the other boys are going very well. There's some players who haven't scored a point yet, and uh some that have scored one. Um they've got a lot of ground to make up, but well done to Strength and Johnner, our AFL tipping champion for the year, Roger that dever leading the Tattoo trophy currently.
SPEAKER_00So, how are the other two competitions looking at the moment, Ron?
SPEAKER_02Well, we are down to the final weeks now of the NRL tipping as well. Uh, and there's going to be yeah, Strength and Johnner. He could go the double here. Uh he's out in front on 147. Uh, Metro Matt fell off the perch a little bit last week. He only got three rights. Strength and Johnna got five. So he's back in second, four points off the pace on 143, and then there's another four points back to Barnes's boy Dave. Uh but as we know, things can change quickly. Oh, especially if there's any jokers left out there. There were some jokers played last weekend, of course.
SPEAKER_00Everyone thought that was a shit easy round. Didn't end up being that. Those bloody tigers. We keep coming back to them. Uh Craig's Carnival, Water Tank Matt played their uh sorry, I'm just stumbling over my words.
SPEAKER_02They got ten each for playing their second and final third and final joker, I imagine. Unless uh they've got one up their sleevey. Eric could be arrives, copy that condo, Londro Leber, they were the same. They all got ten points, those boys. Big win near gold digger Gavy. Mustard Key Matt was the top one of the round. He got eleven points, so he must have got that margin right. Dead set bloody genius. And then Joshua B next, Manscaped Nads, Nickabee Rising. They all played their jokers. So do we think there are any left?
SPEAKER_04I reckon there's a slay one or two out there, and uh if you're say within about ten points of strength and johnner over the next two weeks and you've got a Joker and you tip well with it, this could change right around.
SPEAKER_02That it could, but for now, Strength and John are out on front and the man to beat. And he will be hard to run down if there are no jokers left out there. Uh so going very well there. As far as a super coach goes, it's really uh Manscaper Nads now. Frogman Grant, who led for a lot of the year, him and Manscaper Nads, a couple of King Browns, which is wonderful to see up top. Uh, they were going for uh blow for dough, hammer tongue, hammer tongue, and uh I by the look of it, Manscaper Nads is going to probably just get home. There's not a lot of change in that now. It's such a big scoring event, and most of the boys have run out of trades, so there there may be one or two incidental changes, but I think that field will be pretty much set, and we'll cover that in more full uh fullness next week as the results for this week aren't complete just yet. Alright, I think that covers all that.

SPEAKER_02Well, we all know what that means. It's the most valuable player and the club champion. Quick round up of where we stand after week eight, uh heading into week nine next week. I can't do I can't say, boys, how big a week that's gonna be to get those first eliminations out of the road. Uh there will be some boys sweating bullets this week. Okay, MVP have been a few changes. At the top gold digger Gaverby remains 429, six in front of Joshua B next, 423. Rhinestone Graham, 382. We've already said he's having a great season. Then we've got a couple of shooters, 364.5, but have a look at this. Cambo, Barnes' boy Dave, is on 351. He uh he's having probably a breakout season after what, sixteen seasons or something. Well done. Water tank Matt in sixth, Craig's Carnival seventh, a couple of Wranglers, Roger eighth, Girias stuffed ninth. He's also come back. He has uh been one off being a uh Grand Slam champion for a fair few years now, Girias. So he's starting to find some of that form. Robbo's pocket rocket, he rounds out that top ten with Dukesrow and Smiddy Win just behind. Not a lot of change in the club champion at this point. Josh will be next and Gold Digger Gaverby are tied, and they're just for the pillar events, uh the group one, group two events, uh, and uh Bunsey's boy Dave's in third, so really cracking season there. So that's where we're at for all of those. Well, I think that's a wrap for the week, boys, and uh we've covered everything off and a great week of competition, and uh there's plenty on the way though. Yeah, I was talking to Carnival. He's thinking about organising a trip out in October, sort of mid to late October, going out and seeing some of those Central West Dubbo boys coming out maybe uh going up on the Saturday morning, having a drink the Saturday afternoon, hit a golf Sunday afternoon and back Monday morning, so he might be able there might be some Sydney boys who wouldn't mind going out there for the weekend as well. Well that sounds like good fun, actually. Yes it does, mate.
SPEAKER_01I might have to get the uh taxi uber, the tuba fixed up so we can take them out. Uh I I guess that is part of their small tours.
SPEAKER_02I don't think it is technically, but there he would like to do more stuff like that, get around, uh, up to Newcastle maybe for a weekend too, uh after New Year, things like that. Uh but I'm sure that's all a work in progress. Of course, next week we have the elimination week for the Triple B's uh and LEMs, basically. Uh and that's going to be very big in itself. And then after that, what have we got then, Sandy?
SPEAKER_04Uh we move into the uh spring champion tips to competitions through September and October. So it's a good time for you boys out there, it all you be the ballers to get your breath back a little because there's gonna be some big weeks coming.
SPEAKER_00I I think there's also he's going to be putting up in uh early September the uh we start our itinerary, so that'll start to be available on the website. I believe the golf and the accommodation's already locked in, ready to go, and I'm sure that they'll get the rest of the stuff that they need done and dusted and add that as we go.

Uh they got a new season coming in September, and I've uh just gone back and watched the first four seasons, and I will finish the fifth again this week in preparation.

Oh, I've been drinking a Hungarian beer of all things, big green can, can't remember the name of it because it just slosses you, smashes you up. But that's been excellent. We may end up even doing a little review somewhere down the line. Oh, I don't know if all the young fellas are interested in that, but at some stage you've got to start wooing the women.
