An Interview with Historian Lonnie Bunch

Director A. Troy Thomas interviews Lonnie Bunch, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution and the first African American and first historian to serve as head of the Smithsonian.  He was also the founding director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). In this episode, Lonnie discusses the museum as well as slavery during the Founding Era and his thoughts as a historian on the Founders.
