Fullness & Flourishing
Fullness & Flourishing is a warm, trauma-informed podcast offering thoughtful, real-life insight into healing, nervous systems, relationships, and the complexity of being human.
Hosted by licensed therapist, Jess Woods, this show blends clinical understanding with honest, personal reflection—so things start to make sense in a way that actually feels useful.
You’ll hear conversations about:
- trauma and how it shapes your inner world
- neurodivergence, masking, and overwhelm
- parts work and self-understanding
- emotional patterns, relationships, and burnout
- why you might feel “fine” on the outside but not on the inside
This isn’t about quick fixes or perfect routines.
It’s about understanding yourself with more clarity, less shame, and a little more room to breathe.
Whether you’re deep in your own healing work or just starting to ask better questions, this space is here to help you make sense of your experience—in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and real.

Episode 2 - Emotions Part 1
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, we discuss our relationship with emotions, the how and why of emotional experience, expression, and repression. The most important thing is to remember you can always improve your relationship with your feelings and starting with compassion for the emotional patterns you have developed is much more productive than shaming yourself for not being better at expressing or experiencing them. Part 2 of this conversation will come in the next episode when we discuss this topic further with a friend and the first guest of the podcast.
