Welcome to Cedar Stream it. It's your boy, sgr, and we're here to talk about Captain America. Bright New World Right out of the gate. I'd have to give this movie like a 3.5, I'd say see it. And I'd say see it for a multitude of reasons. If you are the type of person who likes action, this movie is for you, I feel like without giving away any spoilers, of course, because we will dive deep into that in the segment I like to call Dazzling Disney, where I'll give you guys those spoilers and you know, I'll talk about a little rehash of this I do like Isaiah Bradley's character.
Speaker 1:I feel like he was a very pivotal character. There's a lot of things that happened in this movie, but I like to use my terminology it was definitely purely political. There were a lot of back motion, back conversations, back things that were happening. If you're unfamiliar with the main antagonist in this movie the leader check him out, do a little bit of research. Thaddeus Ross comes back. He's actually the president of the United States. Joaquin is the new Falcon. He takes that mantle. What makes it really unique to me is that there's not a lot of use of the suit and if you paid attention to Falcon and the Winter Soldier and then he becomes Captain America and the Winter Soldier. You find out throughout everything that, realistically, sam is going through a lot and he kind of has to figure out a lot. Shout out to you know, wakanda, we know that if you pay attention to that movie, his tech is basically infused with vibranium and he still has the concussive kinetic energy buildup. He can do the blast. It happens throughout the movie. He throws a shield, he does all of those cool things.
Speaker 1:But I'm just going to hit you guys with some of the quotable quotes that won't spoil the movie again. I want you guys to listen to these. I want to keep them really short so that you can kind of get it. But one of my favorite quotes were since when do they come in red? And then another one I'd have to say is you're always on point, because if I am not, I let them down and I let everyone down at the table, and it makes you wonder if I'll ever be enough. There's a lot of different quotable quotes, but again I'll dive a little bit more deep into dazzling Disney with that.
Speaker 1:But it wasn't really a show and tell movie, so you don't see everything in every trailer, but there is one post credit scene. I won't bring that up because it kind of ruins stuff. We'll talk about that a little bit later, but it isn't much to say. There's a lot of action. You see a lot of the, the triple flips on and so forth. They address the importance of the different accords. They actually bring up the Sokovia Accords, they bring up a new accord and I kind of like how the movie progressed. There was not really a dry moment in the movie and Gene Carlow's character he was Sidewinder, he was hilarious, he had his one-liners, his points. But yeah, there was a lot of GM vehicles and a lot of these GM vehicles were kind of destroyed. And, like I said, I'll dive a little bit more deeper into this so that you guys have more to talk about it. But this is your boy, sgr. See you at Stream. It Go ahead, you know, do yourself a favor. See you, captain America. Brave new world. Bye y'all.
