Welcome to who's the Housewives. It's your boy, sgr, and your girl.
Speaker 2:Steph, how's it going?
Speaker 1:It's going pretty great. It's going pretty great. So yo what is this episode called? Because it had me in a handbasket.
Speaker 2:Hemlines and headlines.
Speaker 1:So I got a little bit of feedback that I kind of jumped the gun. So I'm going to let you guide us through this episode. But I have so much to say.
Speaker 2:You have so much to say. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it. Actually I can, so we'll do a little bit of a rundown. Boze and her daughter enjoy a delicious glass of vanilla lemongrass tea. Ramil, what is your favorite tea?
Speaker 1:Anything that's light and airy and fruity.
Speaker 2:Light, airy and fruity. I like a fruity tea.
Speaker 1:Something that's blendish, something that's good.
Speaker 2:I like like mint teas, black teas and chai teas. I like them all, though I do like tea, black teas and chai teas. So I like them all, though I do like tea. We should get tea sometime, um, so Jade gets his headshots for modeling, um, and Garcelle is thrilled. We see, uh, kathy and Kyle go for a ride, and this is kind of where I think the episode starts to sort of ramp up. When we left last episode, the photos of Kyle and Mauricio are now out. Everybody knows about it. It was on TMZ and Kathy asked Kyle well, how are you doing? And Kyle just started to like run down, like how she and she just assumes that Kathy's talking about the Mo thing and Kathy is just like well, I was talking about the Mo thing, but I didn't want to ask.
Speaker 1:I just wish I had someone in my life like Kathy, because she's just like she says what she wants, she does what she wants and she just is who she is.
Speaker 2:She really is who she is. Man is who she is. Man. God bless Kathy Hilton, seriously. Um so I guess you know my question about this whole thing and we can talk about a little bit more later. But you know, was Mo being irresponsible? I in this moment, with the whole photo thing? Do you feel like he should have talked to his daughters about, you know, the new lady in his life and the potential of this happening? Should he have given his family a heads up?
Speaker 1:I just think it's all weird. And again, what did they compare him to? You're not Brad Pitt, like clearly it was staged, it was I don don't know. I just feel like come on, bro, like have a little bit of decency. Um, I've always, I've always liked no, because I mean he was like this attractive, like cool dad down to earth, what have you. But I don't know. Man, it's not given, it's not given. Two plus two don't equal man, it's not given, it's not given. Two plus two don't equal four. And I think next episode we're going to dive a little bit deeper into it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and I feel like I always liked Mo too. You know, on my groups about Beverly Hills a lot of people were posting this, like you know, receipts from other episodes or older episodes, and there was this episode where, like Mo is doing Kyle's hair, he's curling her hair with a curling iron, he cooked dinner for her and all her friends, so he's kind of like an endearing guy, like he seems very sweet and like he loves her a lot. Um, I don't really know if I feel like he should have told his daughters like, on the one hand, I feel like they're all kind of older and he might look at it like we don't have little ones anymore. So it's his life as long as he's being a good dad. I don't know, I guess we'll kind of have to to see, but it's sad to see this whole thing with Mo and Kyle. It really is just a little bit.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's really sad they're all kind of single right now. None of them are married. Um, so erica and her new house. I'm so happy for erica, like so, um, erica's mom, renee, comes to visit. She gets the grand tour of erica's new home and it's beautiful. Martin is there. He's the one that I renovated and redid the home and her mom is so silly. She's just like I don't like any seams. She's talking about the wallpaper in Erica's bedroom and she's being very particular, but it's good to see that her mom's looking out. What say you Moms?
Speaker 1:are going to say what they're going to say and I feel like kind of bouncing back a segment or a statement or what have you. Kathy Hilton is a mom and that's why she acts and she does what she does. I mean, they're all moms, like Erica's mom, but she hasn't, to me, gotten to that age where she's just like, oh, I love my home. I got to that age where she's just like, oh, I love my home, I better not see any seam lines. It was, we know, renee's, all right, which made me happy, made me really happy.
Speaker 2:It made me happy too. So they kind of pan back to Kathy and Kyle. They're on their way to get mammograms together and I actually think this is really really kind of a nice moment. I think it's good when women get to support each other in these moments because they can be extremely scary, because sometimes you don't know what you're going to find, and it's good that they have each other to support each other. But Kathy asks the burning question whose boobs are bigger, kyle's or mine? I don't know. They didn't answer it. So I guess we'll have to check the message boards to see if we get a response on that.
Speaker 2:Kathy, you know, tries to encourage Kyle to find out who the woman in the photo is. With Mo, kyle's pretty much not into it. She's just like I don't really care, not into it, she's just like I don't really care. Mo's an adult, he's doing his own thing. But Kathy, I love Kathy, we all need a Kathy. So Kathy kind of comes in clutch and it's like well, you know, I can find out who planted this photo. I can find out who, like, set this whole thing up. So my question for you, ramil, is do you have a friend in your life that can kind of find out all this crap that does the deep dive digging for you, so you don't have to Monty Monty.
Speaker 1:If you need to know something, she'll tell you everything. She was like I found out that they were in a car accident this year. I found out that this happened here. I found out that they did this. I'm like how the internet's a powerful place. So, yes, if you ever happen to need to know something, super sleuth, this is Marnie.
Speaker 2:This is Marnie oh gosh. Wow, I didn't know that I have her number too. I can ask questions.
Speaker 1:Before you proceed, she will give you what you need.
Speaker 2:You might find out more than you bargained for Just a little bit, just a little bit. So I guess I don't know how I feel about this and I'm just going to ask you how do you feel about like the bios on like Facebook and Instagram? Do you like? I mean like. What is your thought on this? For those of you who need some context Mo deleted father and husband from like his Instagram and Kyle is wanting to delete like wife. I don't know, I don't know if people really care. Does it matter?
Speaker 1:Many moons ago we had a discussion about, like, titles versus labels and, like you know the remnants and importance of the title versus a label, and you know that discussion and for me, if you know what you are and know who you are, it doesn't matter. Even if he doesn't put he's a father or dad on his page, he's going to be a father and a dad unless you know he passes away, but even then he's still someone's father and someone's dad. So, like for me it was just like I guess she was trying to make a statement, but it's just like, okay, let him live. I'm going to take away wife Live, baby Live with her or live without him, like y'all still in this lovely like marriage. That's it. That's all I'm going to say.
Speaker 2:That's it I mean they're still married, so she's still talking about life.
Speaker 1:It's just For me this could have ended five episodes ago. That's what I'm going to say. Between the Kyle and the Borussia it's become a season thing and I was looking for a three or four episode arc and it's dragging now and I know we're about to get into literally the meat and the potatoes, but I'm just like yeah, and I mean I guess maybe it's because we like the news broke about Kyle and Mauricio a while ago, so like we've kind of known all this stuff that's been going on.
Speaker 2:But I do kind of feel the same. I don't know how I feel about the whole tagline thing, I don't really care, but whatever, same, I don't know how I feel about the whole tagline thing, I don't really care. I well, whatever. Um, so Sutton and Garcelle um, oh, sorry, I didn't mean Garcelle Sutton and Miss Jennifer Tilly. Um, gosh, I just screwed that up. I did mean Garcelle, sorry, there's been lots of like meetings and stuff. Okay, so Sutton and Garcelle kind of meet at her fashion line, sutton, her shop or whatever, and they're preparing for the fashion show and she's telling Garcelle about how her mom's flight got canceled. Do you think this was calculated on Reba's part? Do you think she really missed her flight or do you think that this was kind of Reba's way of getting out of it? Because some people on the internet are being kind of nasty about it, saying that they think that Reba was being a little fake here.
Speaker 1:I'm pretty sure this was around the time. No, because this happened in July, august Last year. There was a big outage and I think it happened in October, or maybe it happened in September. Either way, there was a big outage. You remember the outage where, like, all the airlines were down and so on and so forth.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I do.
Speaker 1:That's what I thought they were talking about. But I don't think, I don't know, I don't. That's where my brain went to when it was like it was a big outage and she waited 13 hours. I'm just like that's what it was giving, like that's what happened. I don't know. I should have done a little bit more research. But I'm going to wait until you ask the question. But Garcelle said it best is all I'm going to say.
Speaker 2:Later on, later on later on it'll make sense okay I was gonna say that right now because I don't think I have it okay. Um, you know they're talking about who to invite for to the fashion show and three or not to dory. That is the question. So how do you handle if there's like a person that you don't really want to invite to an event but they're in the friend group? You know?
Speaker 1:how do you?
Speaker 2:handle inviting them to something that's kind of yours.
Speaker 1:Do you invite them? I don't. I just don't Like you're not coming, because to me it's a calculated risk, like anything could happen, and in this instance you know we're going to obviously get into it. But I just don't like cause, it's just like why. But ah, geez, like I said Garcelle said it best they both go.
Speaker 1:Yeah, go, just go ahead, don't be the person so story time there was this one time that this person I was working with was texting the group chat and I basically said my manager didn't text me this much and I had texted that person in the group chat and I was like I am so tired of them, I can't stand them. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and everybody was like reveal raw group chat.
Speaker 2:I'm like I don't care. I'm so open. I'm glad that it's out and there's receipts to prove it because they can refer back to it if they have questions.
Speaker 1:Your raw group chat reveals like no, I don't care, I'm on vacation. I've already said how I like to be communicated to and I just kept happening. I've already said how I like to be communicated to. And I just got that thing.
Speaker 2:So what else? So, you know, erica and her mom go for a drink in her cabana. They're drinking champagne and it seems quite lovely, and Erica kind of gets to talk to her mom about how she's experiencing a whole fresh start. You know, and I it got me wondering, because Erica says like she doesn't like to revisit like sort of the trauma or the past because she feels like it will open the wound again. Does visiting the past trauma prevent you from healing?
Speaker 1:Most definitely. Sometimes I feel like it's important to move forward, like rehashing the past doesn't get you anywhere. You know it happened, you got to deal with it and you got to move on. The decisions we make we can't change Because if we could, we'd be called the past, we'd be called the present. So I did appreciate that. She kind of said like every day I think less and less about time, which is powerful, because I keep saying it is for Erica's evolution, like for real, she literally has come a long way. And even when they went back to her previous clips and it's like these people believe me here and they said this but no one wants it to be done to them, it's just I just be cracking up because she'll be in her confessional drinking her little drink and just minding her little business.
Speaker 2:I'm just like, yes, erica, yes, don't be in the drama this season. I'm proud of her too. I really, um, like she's doing so great and she says you know, she's writing the next chapter of her life and she wants to just not get married, she wants to date and she wants to work. And speaking of her work, I do just want to congratulate her. Erica's song was featured in the movie Anora and I guess it won an Oscar. So that's pretty awesome. So props to Erica. I just feel like she's killing it right now. But now onto the important crap. So, erica, her mom asks, you know, to drive her Porsche, and I've never had a fancy car. I've always bought like used cars because I always felt like it was safer. But would you let your mom drive your car, ramil, not.
Speaker 1:No, In earlier years yes, but y'all can't drive. That's why I'm saying so.
Speaker 2:No, I drive y'all places.
Speaker 1:Absolutely not, absolutely not, i's all I'm going to say. So no, I drive Gayle places.
Speaker 2:Absolutely not, absolutely not I'm almost going to have to Uber.
Speaker 1:No, no, no, I'll drive her anywhere, but I'm not. No, absolutely not.
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 1:There's no reason.
Speaker 2:So Porta Villa lunch with Dory and Garcelle. What an interesting and awkward moment. I just like I don't know why they're trying to like make fetch happen. It's never going to happen, or at least it doesn't feel like it's going to happen. They go to lunch and you know they're making niceties, they're talking about divorce and you know they give kind of like updates in their lives. They talk about PK and Dorit a little bit, but I feel like we've sort of exhausted that subject.
Speaker 1:Just right now they're talking I like I can't got love for Kyle. I love her to read, but at this point in time maybe the horse is not beaten, the horse is not unalive. The horse has been dead, buried and resurrected at this point in time and has become a brand new horse, kyle Dorit. Get to the story.
Speaker 2:Either y'all gonna be with these men or divorce them, but that's my opinion and I know that there's considerations because they have small kids so they're trying to be careful with things. But just I don't know. It does seem like they're making with the niceties and of course they gossip about Kyle and the photo and it got, you know, people wondering if Kyle was in Morgan Wade's music video and at the concert to get back at Mo, and I didn't know if you had any thoughts on that and I don't know if you had any thoughts on that and I don't know if you remember, but a while ago it was kind of like on the internet that Kyle was featured in one of Morgan Wade's music videos Kissing Her. So it led a lot of people to speculate. Was she having kind of a lesbian moment, a queer moment? I'm not really sure what it was because she didn't define it.
Speaker 1:So perspective and perception are reality. Moment, a queer moment. I'm not really sure what it was, because she didn't define it. So perspective and perception are reality. Um, when the mouse, you know, when the cat's away, the mouse will play. That's what I'll say. And I feel like maritio was gone. It doesn't make any excuse, I'm not saying like it was justified, but he was gone.
Speaker 1:So I think kyle was just like okay, I fill this, this nest, and we've seen the season that she's just like. You know, I don't know what it's like to be alone. My house is always busy. Someone's always here. You know, all of my girls moved out, of course, with their friends. So, portia I don't care what y'all say, that child's name is Portia. It's like tit for tat because again, one of the things that, oh geez, all of them say even Erica said this like when it happens to me, I can't defend myself, I can't say anything, but as soon as it happens to you, it has to be. Oh, my goodness, the world is falling. So like. I think this is maybe like Moe's revenge story, like maybe he didn't plan to like meet with this woman and kiss her and all of this stuff, but I don't know.
Speaker 1:Like they said, he ain't Brad Pitt. He fine, but he ain't fine. People ain't running. It's Maurizio Umaski. Oh my God, that's not. It's not giving. That paparazzi photo was planted. I don't care.
Speaker 2:Maybe it was planted by the woman I don't know, I don't care, it was planted Maybe it was planted by the woman I don't know.
Speaker 1:I don't know, I wasn't there. Kyle Kyle, Kyle Kyle, sister Kathy will find out, Okay.
Speaker 2:This year. Kathy will find out, kathy, kathy knows what's up. So, uh, carthel asking the tough questions what's your beef with Sutton? What is the beef with Sutton? I mean, there's a lot of beef.
Speaker 2:It doesn't really seem that there's any love right now between Dorit and Sutton. Who knows if they'll make up and become friends again. But we know that we like the drama of them fighting because it is a little bit funny. So I'm not going to dwell too much on that. But Dorit does say that she is going to dwell too much on that. But Dorit does say that she is going to go to Sutton's fashion show and try and support her. Um, so I guess, uh, does it bother you to keep? Um, I'm having a day today, so, no, do you bother with people? Um, you have to keep one eye open with. Because you know, garcelle notes kind of at the end of that, or at the beginning or not the end, but she notes during the episode that she kind of has to keep one eye open with Sutton. Like they'll be friendly, but like are they going to be friends, who knows. But you know, should you bother being somebody's friend at that point?
Speaker 1:No like for me. Again, she congratulated or appreciated Doreen's apology. She was like it was genuine.
Speaker 2:However, until she like, let's go with the sudden drama.
Speaker 1:I don't think that this is going to ever be a friendship, like Doreen did call her out. You have rose-colored glasses on for Sutton. That's it. Do you feel like what Sutton did was mean yes or no?
Speaker 2:It was cruel.
Speaker 1:It was like it was, it was cruel, it was a low blow. It's like okay, so like. Do you feel like I came off mean or rude? Well, no, but you still. You know, you, you don't talk about someone's drinking, and it's just like and and like. These are the times where I usually, like I used to go hard for Garcelle but it's the same thing.
Speaker 1:Like Garcelle, you're making excuses for your kid. You didn't make excuses for Oliver, you had to like denounce Oliver. So why are you making excuses for Sutton? That's all I'm gonna say.
Speaker 2:Do you feel like Dorit had a point when she said to Garcelle like you should have stood up for me in the moment when you knew it was cruel?
Speaker 1:yeah, cause she was just like when she said that she was like son, come on. But I think Sutton probably would have turned her anger Sutton's the type of person that I feel like kind of turns her anger and Garcelle probably, like Garcelle don't want to smoke about that money thing, because it's like you know, like if I had to guess, I feel like it would be like Garcelle, erica, and then it would go like up the ladder with the money, even like Dorit, how's she going to call her Portree?
Speaker 2:That's still Portree her port read best him. Okay, so my question for you is have you ever modeled in some sort?
Speaker 1:of a fashion show or a show like this. What was your?
Speaker 2:experience.
Speaker 1:It was. It was something that I wouldn't do again. I did a photo shoot, like someone asked me to be in a photo shoot and then I did like I don't know. Know, it's just I. I feel like we all have body situations like I don't feel like my body's the best, so I'm like, oh my goodness, I'm comparing it to that, comparing to this. I feel like Jade did a good job and I still crack up that his name is Jade because it's like am.
Speaker 2:I saying it right, jade yeah, I'd be.
Speaker 1:I'd be Jackson Jade, I'd be like in my head around him, but I felt like he did a good job and I was proud of him.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I have to throw something in here. A fashion show without fashions how dreadful. That's from the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Honey, we're going to pitch you up on that one. A fashion without fashions how dreadful.
Speaker 2:So Sutton and Jennifer Tilly go to the fashion show like run through. Jennifer Tilly is going to walk in the fashion show and she does note that celebrities like herself normally they show up like 15 minutes before the show and they just throw them in and they do their own thing. I love Jennifer Tilly. I think she's just such a good addition to the show. What is?
Speaker 1:sustainable fashion Trash. I'm not trying to be funny, like I feel like it is Like you. I'm not being funny. My friend actually is interested in, you know, in sustainable fashion truly. But it is fashion that gives you the ability to like, like that's ethically sourced and actually works, and like. I don't want to say it's biodegradable, because I mean that would literally, if you hit it with water, like, but I think it's ethically sourced. Um, I like sun's idea.
Speaker 2:I just, oh geez, I'm trying not to jump please okay, I'm trying to get to this question that you want me to ask and I feel like I'm getting added more. I'm failing, no.
Speaker 2:So, at the show. The girls, I think they all look amazing. I think they're all beautiful. Kyle is not taking press because she's scared she's going to get bombarded. I guess about questions about Mauricio, whatever. Because she's scared she's going to get bombarded. I guess about questions about Mauricio, whatever. Dorit, am I just here to fill a seat? She's kind of wondering and I mean she has a point. Who knows? And I guess you know Sutton is just kind of goofy. She goes up to Bose and is like talking and she's just like my husband's been in the sand for three days and I really didn't even know what she was talking about. I guess, like maybe Bose has tried to reach out to her, but maybe she was just trying to make awkward conversation with Bose. But it was a strange moment. But Mo, they do have a discussion about Moe. He's finally apologized to Miss Kyle about, I guess, the incident.
Speaker 2:Kyle doesn't seem to have loved the apology, but I think she's happy to be validated that she got something. I don't know, and where are the hoardiers?
Speaker 1:The hoardiers, the hoardiers.
Speaker 2:The hoardiers.
Speaker 1:I'm going to say this, similar to what my mother says. My mother always says I'd like to see the advertisers.
Speaker 2:What did she say?
Speaker 1:The advertisers.
Speaker 2:The advertisers.
Speaker 1:Oh darling, but she's the same person that will get upset if you say where is it at, behind the preposition at, and then people are like, well, she isn't wrong, I'm like, but she's the person who will say advertisers, appetizers, appetizers. I'm not doing this with you. I'm not doing this with you. I get so upset. Can you show me the appetizers, the what?
Speaker 2:Sorry, she's having her own Kathy Hilton moment. So, miss Kathy, god love her. You know she makes the comment to the ladies. She really thinks it would be a good idea for Dorit to introduce and narrate the fashion show. What, um, I don't even know, like, why she thinks this would be a good idea. Who knows it's Kathy, like, does she even know that they're fighting? She was there, she was at the dinner. Like what, are they not friends? What? But you know what. That's not friends, sure, but you know what. That's why I love Kathy.
Speaker 1:You should really have to redo this stuff. She's in the fashion. No, I don't need anyone emceeing my house.
Speaker 2:It's like a real fashion show. I'm sorry, and like in this whole moment, okay, just let me like paint a picture Kathy Hilton comes hobbling into this event because she says she broke something. I'm not sure if it's her knee or her foot, I couldn't really hear, but this fashion show is taking place around a pool. So part of me was kind of like wondering if somebody was gonna like yeah, because I mean it's kind of ill-advised, I think, to do a fashion show around a pool if it's not swimwear but what do I know? Um, but have you ever had to like rein in a friend or family in like a really big public moment?
Speaker 1:yeah, I've also been the person people had to rein in, so I just girl, girl, kathy, that's all I will say. Kathy for the win.
Speaker 2:So Kathy basically goes behind the curtain right before the show is about to start. Sutton is like being full Sutton right now, freaking out because she's like trying to organize everything. She did tell people this was kind of like her first show, so it's a really big deal and, um, you know, kathy is just like you know Dorit's done this before. She could really help you Like Sutton kind of. Did I say Dorit, sorry? Um, sutton, I'm having a moment today, a whole moment, it's been the whole day. So Sutton kicks Kathy out from behind the show and she comes hobbling through like the center, like main entrance that the models are going to be using, and she's like hobbling out shaking people's hands in the front row of the fashion show as they start it.
Speaker 1:Kathy Kathy Bowles, get your sister Kyle. Go get your sister Kyle, get your sister.
Speaker 2:I can't get her, don't worry, she's just my sister.
Speaker 1:Put some of her purse to hide her face it was really funny.
Speaker 2:I just I love kathy for this like whole moment and she really is kind of treating it like it's just like some sort of middle school talent show, not like a big kind of expensive event with paparazzi. She, just she's on a different level than all of us Different, Kathy.
Speaker 1:And that had me on the floor Because you know they show you the little previews before the episodes. Kathy, Kathy, Kathy, see how the show's about to start. Kathy, they just had me on the floor.
Speaker 2:It was funny. So do you feel like Kathy was trying to to like crash the show or steal anybody's spotlight? Because that's kind of like what some people were saying.
Speaker 1:Why would she have to? The thing that I want to be honest with you about is Kathy, to me, doesn't do anything ill intended or like evil in my opinion. She just lives her life and I again, I want to get to one level of status where I just don't whatever, I'm just going to be living my life, walking through living the best life. So it's basically my opinion.
Speaker 2:That's basically your opinion. Kathy is Kathy.
Speaker 1:So how did Sutton do? I feel like it was a good fashion show. I feel like it was a fashion with fashion, because they're in the inside pivot. Another housewife has been brought back three times and then kicked off three times too. Of Atlanta, she by Sheree, they didn't roast it they didn't roast it so many times.
Speaker 1:A fashion show with no fashions how dreadful. But I feel like Sutton did a good job. Sutton's line is a little bit more pronounced and a little bit more I won't use the word relevant, but it's more established. That's the word I'll say. So I'm proud of her Compared to who Garit.
Speaker 2:She by Sheree, she by Sheree Okay.
Speaker 1:I've heard of her.
Speaker 2:She by Sheree I have so were they, I have so were they the ones that were doing the athleisure spring, summer, fall, winter?
Speaker 1:That's Potomac, that's GNA, that's Janelle and I she means Giselle, actually that, when it comes to being a housewife, there are just certain things that are in people's wheelhouses and out of people's wheelhouses, and Dorit has the ability to do fashion very well, and that's all I'll say.
Speaker 2:So yeah, she does and she does not seem impressed by Sutton's show at all In the confessional Like what did you think of her fashion show? And she's just like, and it was super shady and I guess I want to congratulate you on your first show. Was she throwing shade when she said that to Sutton or was she just trying to be genuine, Because I kind of felt like she was being a little bit of a sass.
Speaker 1:I felt like she was attempting to be genuine, because it was like you invited me to your fashion show. It's probably not how I would have done a fashion show, but for your first fashion show, congratulations, that's. That's, that's to me what it was giving because, again, if you're here and I know that Sutton isn't right now, but if you're here, it don't matter what I do or what I say, you won't be here, that's all.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so do you have any other, I guess, comments or things that you want to touch on? I did miss one thing. I missed Jennifer Tilly walking down the runway in the fashion show. She is so great she's winking, she's moving, she's smiling and I just love her so much. You didn't like it.
Speaker 1:It was just Jennifer Tilly. Just like Kathy Hilton is Kathy Hilton, jennifer Tilly is going to be Jennifer Tilly. Just like Kathy Hilton is Kathy Hilton, jennifer Tilly is going to be Jennifer Tilly. The thing that I thought you were going to say was that Garcelle said this about Sutton is that Sutton needs approval. She needs that approval from people and she was missing the approval from Reba. So she was trying to like, cultivate and get that approval from her friends and you know her daughter was in the audience, which she was really happy to have. But that's what I think that's a driving force for Sutton the acknowledgement. I mean it was a whole thing. You never tell me you love me. Should I have to? You never tell me that you're proud of me. Should I have to? I'm proud of you, I love you. I feel that if you try to get your success or your happiness off of someone else, you're never going to meet the goal. That's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 2:When she's thanking everybody for coming, she was saying I hope my daughter's proud, I hope my mom's proud. I do think that Garcelle is right. She's always seeking people's approval.
Speaker 1:And validation.
Speaker 2:And validation.
Speaker 1:That she has to focus on. But I feel like this episode went by super fast and I was just like this was not an hour, like I really was, just like I mean I know it's like 40 to 42 minutes, but I'm like this was what, what happened? What say you? Do you feel like it went by super fast this time?
Speaker 2:so I think the reason why I'm struggling with this episode is because I feel like it's filler, um, like I've been struggling through this whole podcast. You all saw me, you saw it first here on sgr um, struggle with stuff, uh. So I just kind of felt like there was nothing in this episode that really like Grabbed my attention, other than like, maybe Kathy at the very end of the Episode. I love it.
Speaker 1:The fake friendship stuff with Dorit and like Garcelle. Y'all don't like each other. Why y'all go to dinner?
Speaker 2:And that's kind of like. I guess I just want to get To the meat of the rest of the season. It's about to happen.
Speaker 1:I know and I can already. I just want to get to the meat of the rest of the season. I know, I can already tell you that next week's episode Chef's Kiss.
Speaker 2:Next three episodes.
Speaker 1:And another thing I'm about to tell you we're about to get our season finale and we're about to get into the reunion relatively soon, because they don't like a whole bunch of overlap as we're about to get into the Real Housewives of Atlanta. That's about to be the main stage for, like spring, summer.
Speaker 2:Spring, summer, fall, winter.
Speaker 1:Wait, you know about that too.
Speaker 2:The spring, summer, fall, winter.
Speaker 1:Yes, you know about that from Charay.
Speaker 2:Yes, okay, so I told you. I know I said that earlier. Spring summer, fall, winter, okay.
Speaker 1:I don't know I know some things.
Speaker 2:I'm around, so I hear.
Speaker 1:I feel like you're going to be pleasantly surprised. With Atlanta. There was a clip that they did like a little spiff, a little spiel, and one of the new housewives her name is Shamia, and Shamia was a friend of the show for many moons and she was friends with Portia Girl. Shamia talked longer than I do and I was up here like this and the producer was going to say can you summarize it? And her whole point was she crapped on this man's toilet and next day he said okay, let's hang out again. That's how I would have told the story. Feel comfortable crapping around your man, shit in his toilet and if he stands you after that, you're golden. That's the story. You didn't tell this whole story about the club and all this. Like girl, I don't care about that. Cut her confessionals down. She was talking too much for me. I'm going to fast forward past that part. I know that.
Speaker 2:I mean I guess that, like I said, I'm going to have to watch. I've been re-watching Southern Charm. And I'm watching the new episodes, so I wish that you watched so we could talk about that we can.
Speaker 1:I mean, who's in Housewives? I didn't tell anyone, but it encompasses all Bravo franchises and so on and so forth, so I don't know, I'll watch it with you. I mean, I feel like there's nothing really on TV. So yeah, I got you.
Speaker 2:I mean we were kind of talking about, you know, the Gross Point Society which takes place in Gross Point, michigan, which is sort of near where you live, ramil.
Speaker 1:That is closer to where you live than where I live.
Speaker 2:Maybe a little bit like in the middle.
Speaker 1:How about we say goodbye to the people here and then we potentially come back and talk about that one? Is that okay?
Speaker 2:No Wow.
Speaker 1:It's okay. Okay, Bye everyone. This has been FPR and Steph.
Speaker 2:Bye guys.
