He was fascinated with Frontierland so when he returned to his hometown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he lead the Oklahoma Semi-Centennial Exposition which was a fair. After the fair ended, he bought all the props from the Boom Town exhibit and that was the beginning of Frontier City.
