Dan Jaworski: Alzheimer's Outlier and Ironman

The hourglass of time and its uncertainty, particularly due to early Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), the precursor to Alzheimer’s disease—has inspired Dan Jaworski to adopt a new philosophy of living: Carpe Diem. His strength and determination to live life on his own terms began with the pursuit of his dream to qualify for the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

He seized the day by qualifying for and  competing in the  Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Living with an attitude of gratitude each day, Dan’s story serves as an inspiration for all of us to embrace the present moment. Carpe Diem.

November is Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
