Hi, welcome to the show. I want to dive in a little bit more into niche and niche work today because I think this is one thing that really can hang up a lot of people when they're trying to figure out what is their place in the world. How is my store different? What do I help people with? So one really easy way that I can teach you to do this so you can kind of have a So I'm going to talk about how to get started with a head start or have a starting point to then go off and just brainstorm all day on the, on this question is how do you help your customers feel or how do you make them look? Okay, these are two really simple, direct questions that can get down to the nitty gritty of what you're going to do in terms of nailing down your niche. So this is just like a good start. How do I help my customers look? Do they look hot? Do they look professional? Do they look put together? What are the buzzwords that I feel I can help my customers with the most? I know I can make them look hot. I know I can make them look, um, you know, put together. I know I can make them look professional. And then also, how can I make them feel? Or even either or. Okay, let's say you know how you're going to make them look, you can nail down the rest of it. Or you know how you can make them feel and you can nail down the rest of it. So feeling like, do you make them feel confident? Do you make them feel comfortable? Do you make them feel better about themselves? Do you make them feel dot, dot, dot, whatever that is for you. This is a really good starting point. Now I don't want you to go, okay, well I do all All those things. I help them feel good. I help them feel confident. I help them feel more like themselves. I help them feel whatever the case may be. Pick what you got going on the best, the most. So if your thing is, is I help women feel confident with my product, then we can start creating and thinking about a brainstorming messaging around that thing. But if you say, well, I, I can help them feel comfortable and confident and this and that, And it's like, that's when we get to be, again, too vanilla, too generic. We start adding on too many things that we think we can help people with because we're like, I can help everybody with everything. All of my products can help everybody with everything. And we go back to that, you know, blanket statement of being for everybody. But just this. simple question about how do you make them look or how do you, you know, how can you help them look dot, dot, dot, or feel dot, dot, dot. This is a very good starting point to then dive into more exercises on your niche. And we have a whole training, niches to riches, where we'll get deeper into this inside trendsetter. By the way, this training is free. free when you join trendsetters, you have access to it as long as you're in the program. So this is something that you feel like keeps hanging you up and you're like, okay, I'm at two K months, five K months. I want to be at 10, 20 K months and I still feel like my content isn't getting pushed out. It's not getting the love that it deserves. This is one of the things that I really want you to look at and go, have I really gotten clear about how I help someone look or how I help someone feel? It's two really easy questions. What happens is, is when you start breaking it down to something simple like this, I feel like you start painting the picture a little bit more of who the person is and you're not just like, you know, all over the place on where you think you can actually make a dent in this world. Because remember, the whole idea is for you to stand out. You don't stand out by blending in, you stand out by standing for something and creating a category of your own. And this is what I've been able to do in my businesses. And it's what I want you to do with your business is think about how you can. How can you stand out and your messaging and your ideal customer and your content and everything that you create will boil back down to this? What is the category that you're creating? How can you stand out, be special, be unique when there is hundreds of thousands of online stores out there, probably millions, that are all swimming in the same ocean trying to get a bite from any of the fish? When the ocean gets too busy, it's just a bunch of sharks. It's all the sharks in the water and all the fish have gone yonder because they don't want to get gobbled up. Okay, so it's your job to create a new pond, so to speak. You want to be a big fish in a small pond, not a small fish in a big pond. This is something I've always ran my business as. I remember someone told me this years ago. I mean, I feel like I was fresh out of college and I was trying to find my way and they're like, you always want to be a big fish in a small pond. small pond. You never want to be the small fish in a big pond because you'll just get swallowed up. So what is your pond that you're creating to be the big fish in? Don't just throw yourselves into the ocean with all the sharks. It's such a harder place to grow from and scale from because you're just competing and getting, you know, distracted and trying to get, you know, any kind of piece of the pie here. But when you start answering these really important questions that most businesses Owners just don't answer because they quite frankly don't even know they should be. Or maybe they've heard about niching, but they think, oh, it's not for me because I want my stuff to be for everybody. This is a trap. This is a major trap. So I just want you to think about this a little bit today. Start thinking about look, feel, make it easier on yourself. Don't make everything. complicated and hard to, to actually get you to get some momentum going with this and to take steps forward. And then when you're thinking about the look and the feel, start thinking about like a real person, like picture somebody that you can help and what is this woman doing every single day. What does her day look like? What does her night look like? What kind of friendships does she have? What kind of life does she leave live? What kind of things is she doing on the weekend? Where does she shop? Where does what makes her happy? What makes her sad? What makes her frustrated? What makes her feel joy? This is where we really, really start tapping into the mindset of this person and how you're able to connect with them so much easier online because you've created your own pond and your fish will find you and they're going to be like, Oh my gosh, this is my place. I have found my girl. Okay, but they can't find you if you're in a giant ocean with everybody else doing what everybody else is doing. Remember one percenters do things different. 99 percent of businesses won't make it to the 1%. Why? Because they're looking at what everybody else is doing and they're doing it too. And this will keep you trapped in that giant ocean full of sharks to get into create your own little ocean, your own little pond. You got to be different. You got to do what nobody else is doing. This is the hard work. This is the real work. This is the whole reason why I created this community to help you stand out because I know you want big things for yourself. And to get there, to have big things, I can't have you doing what everybody else is doing, okay? Alright, I love you. Don't forget to join the Trendsetter membership so you can get access to the Niches to Riches training. You're going to love it so much. There's a workbook, there's a customer profile sheet, there's so many great questions. There's like a whole workbook that asks you questions to help you figure this out.
