Welcome to the alley D show. Hello. Okay. Trendsetters everyone listening for the first time, where if you are an avid listener of the podcast, welcome to the rebrand. We were the retail success club podcast. And now we are the alley D show. Wow. Okay. I am so excited about not only this big name change for the podcast, because I really feel like it's tying all the branding together. If you've been following me for a while, you've seen that I've slowly switched over from retail success club to more personal branding with my Instagram account, my Tik TOK account, everything kind of switching over to Allie D in one form or another. So I was thinking about what I was going to rebrand the podcast as I went through many iterations of titles. But at the end of the day, the reason that I chose the Allie D show was for a very specific reason. And this may be surprising to you, but I'm going to kind of talk about why this name change is so important. Because I actually know that this is going to relate majorly to a lot of you in your own businesses and. Really why this happened and why I'm bringing it to the forefront is all a lesson for you. Okay. So here's the scoop. When I started to think about how far I've come, you know, as a coach, really in the past year, year and a half, since I started this journey, starting the podcast, going into the daily podcast in 2025. Trying to be you guys. I have big. Aspirations and dreams for this podcast. I want to be one of the top podcast. Top 1% you guys know I'm always talking about 1%. I want to be in the top 1% of podcasts period with this sucker. This is where I plan to go with this. So this is not something that I look at lightly and say, oh, I'm just, you know, um, Doing this, like every once in a while now, like I am committed to making this one of the best podcasts in the entire world country, whatever it takes to help teach women how to grow and scale and build their businesses while having the time of their lives will never feeling like they have to be tied down and married to their businesses and working 24 7 and be in that whole hustle culture that entrepreneurship. Land promotes. Okay. So my view is wildly different. Uh, than the vast majority of people out there that are just telling you post more, do more, work, more, get more results. I don't believe in that because that's not how I built my own seven figure businesses. I've never felt like I have to work 24 7 to make things happen. What I do know is that the time that I do spend working on my business has to be very intentional and very focused. The same with you. So when I created this community, I started it as the retail success club. Actually. Do you want to know a really funny story? Like when I really started it. It was, um, I think like Texas boutique owners. And then that lasted for like a couple of weeks. And then I realized that I started going viral really fast on tech talk, like literally within the first two weeks of creating my tech talk channel that I did in my brick and mortar store. When I had, at the time I was sitting at my register and I was like, I am going to do this because I kept getting asked by vendors and friends about all different questions having to do with the industry that we're in product based businesses. Okay. So I started as like the Texas boutique owners and went viral and people were like, I'm not from Texas, but I love you. Like I'm watching from California, from South Carolina, from wherever you name it. People were like jumping in and they're like, thank you for starting this channel. We need this. And I was like, okay, this is more than just. Texas. Boutique owners. So then it became the boutique success club. Um, Which was like the next iteration of this journey. So, this is by the way, guys, this is all in like under a year and a half. This happened. Okay. So we started off as Texas boutique owners, and then we went to boutique success club. And then after a while I realized I was helping more than just boutique owners. I had brand owners. I had, um, people that were, you know, Shopify owners selling on Etsy. Anyone selling physical products were diving into this tech talk and becoming obsessed with like, All the things that we talked about. So it switched over then from boutique success club to retail success club. Because to me, anyone who's selling products online, you are in the retail industry. And that was why I shifted from that name to this name. Now. Here's the deal. And here's why this all relates to you so much. Because let's talk about what was really going on here and why it wasn't called the alley D show from the jump. When I decided to go into this journey, this was a brand new business for me. It wasn't even a business at the time. Okay. I just did it for fun just to kind of talk about industry stuff, because I was so obsessed. I am so obsessed with this industry and. And helping people. And I was always having conversations with people all the time and they were asking me questions about marketing and email and socials and content and growing and scaling and getting into retailers. And. Building wholesale brands. And I mean, you name it. I could talk about it and I could talk about it for a long time. And I knew this was a huge, um, Portion of my life that I hadn't yet. Really. Let come to fruition. Cause I was, I was really instill am. I'm still a business owner. I still sell my products. I'm still, you know, Trying to get to eight figures. So I'm very focused on that, but I also really like had this light inside of me this little spark that was like, Allie, you should do this. Like you should create a tech talk and talk about this stuff. And so I did it. But I did it terrified. I did it feeling like. Um, I don't know if I'm like the right person to do this. I have some knowledge. I'm happy to share it. I have no gatekeeping. Like, I want to tell you everything you need to know about building and starting your own business. But part of me was like, I'm not trained in business. I don't have like a certification to teach business. I didn't even go to business school. I didn't take any business classes. Like I failed in corporate life. I had multiple mistakes I'd made throughout my career. There was a lot of things that I, that I was looking at and going. Uh, I don't know if I should really be doing this because I felt like a, what. Imposter. Even though at that point, I had already built seven figure business. I was already doing great sales. I had purchased real estate with my, with my business funds. I had, we've been expanding. I mean, of course we've had ups and downs and all the things. But ultimately. I was, I had grown a really successful business and had been in, was able to have multiple facets of it going on. So not only do we have for e-commerce stores, not only do we have wholesale lines, we sell direct to consumer. I had a brick and mortar. Um, I had vendors inside my brick and mortar. I have two showrooms at the time at Dallas market center. Like I had. More quote unquote success. Then 99% of the business owners in my industry out there have. But I still felt not qualified. I still felt that sense of people are going to judge me. People are going to like, you know, be mean to me, people are gonna, you know, all the things that come with. The fear that comes with making a big new move. So I say this to say, All of the business name iterations I went through from Texas boutique owners to boutique success club to retail success club. All of that was, was really me hiding behind a name. Because it wasn't quote unquote, Allie D. There was some safety that I found hiding behind the retail success club name. Or the, you know, boutique success club name because it wasn't me, it wasn't Allie D so I felt like a little bit of a sense of protection because I wasn't really putting myself out there. And what I know. Is, this is also true of many of my clients. Many of you listening to this podcast that feel this sense of imposter syndrome. Now we all have different ways that this comes up and shows up in our lives. For me, for example, was hiding behind a name for you. It may be hiding behind content, not being willing to be your true, authentic self online, hiding behind very generic, very vanilla stuff, because you don't want to offend anybody or you want to like attract everybody. Or things that you've been through in your life. Things that people have said to you, all of these things, people hide behind and call it imposter syndrome. But at the end of the day, It's okay. We're just trying to keep ourselves safe. It's just a form of protection. But what we know and what I teach and that what we see time and time again. Is true growth. True. You know, Pedal to the metal accelerator on full-blast true. Momentum is not built in the comfy safety zones. And when I realized with my own mentor talking through this, and I was telling, talking to her about renaming the podcast. And I said, I'd like to call it the alley D show, but I don't know, like. There's some fear there. And what we, what we went through and this is why I love mentorship specifically close proximity. Mentorship is because what we went through and worked through was that actually. This was a fear of me being seen. I fear of being an imposter. Not being quote unquote qualified, which is obviously in my head. Right. Because, let me tell you. Uh, a year ago, I was still just as successful as I am now. So not much has changed. In terms of like, Okay. Now all of a sudden I'm qualified a year later. Right. Like, I'm still the same me. I'm still the same person. Yeah. I have more knowledge. I have more sales. A year worth of more sales, but at the end of the day, A year. The year between of when I started my podcast. And when, where we are now with the new name, which is actually me. Putting myself out there and saying, yes. I do have the qualifications. I do have the ability to help people the same way that you need to do in your business. You are the super power. You cannot make the big bold moves by staying in the comfort zone. In the safety zone. So I wanted to share with you today, the excitement that I feel. As I worked through that myself. Because I'm going first here. I'm the Guinea pig. Okay. And in my product-based business, I am very far from this point because I have had that business for 10 years, but this is a newer business. It's me stepping into the unknown, which is where a lot of you are right now in your own businesses. I'm already. An expert. At what I teach. But stepping into the teaching side. Was fricking scary. And it's the same thing for you guys. You already have so many incredible qualities that make you uniquely qualified and the perfect person to run your business, to put yourself out there to show your face in content. I know you're already creating content. But I want you to go deeper. I want you to really learn from this podcast question. What you've done so far and go. Am I still hiding behind a little bit of a fear here. Uh, fear of being judged, a fear of being an imposter, a fear of putting myself out there. Fear of being seen. Yes. I want the big sales. I want the mega business. But is there some part of me that still feels. Timid and still not ready to fully go all in. Even though consciously you want the results, right? You want the incredible results. You want to build something massive where you have financial freedom. You have time, freedom, you have a business that excites you, makes you feel invigorated. Doesn't drain your energy. But to get there. You have to let go of some of these things that you may not even realize until this podcast, because I didn't realize that until I talked through it with my mentor, that that was the real thing going on here. Was that was really what was holding me back from naming it, the alley D show, which like it is about me. It's my knowledge that I'm sharing with you. But it's, it's scary. To put yourself out there when you're doing something new and different. So this podcast is number one. I'm giving you permission. To stop feeling like an imposter stop feeling like you need some kind of something. To be qualified for what you're doing or what you're trying to build, because let me tell you. The qualifications come from doing the action. It comes from you showing up. Being the best business owner you could be by listening to this podcast. Investing in mentorship and coaching.'cause what's so cool about that is. As coaches, we see the blind spots for you. We've already been there. So as my mentor that helps me with this specific side, my coaching business can see the blind spots because she's already been where I am. She's already been through it. I can see the exact same type of blind spots for you in your product based business, because I've already been there. I can see that I can already tell where you need help and support the moment we start working together. So, this is why it's so important. For your growth. For your success. For your evolution to make sure you're tapping into this side of you. So, whether it's with me in coaching, in the trendsetter membership inside glow up, diving into podcasts, reading books. Doing this kind of work. Is what's going to make you unstoppable. And that's actually the whole theme. Inside the trendsetter membership this month. Is to become unstoppable. We can't be unstoppable when we're, we're hiding in our little safe space, right? Like our little cozy, cute spot. Okay. You become unstoppable by doing the actions. By going all in, even when it feels scary, even if it feels uncomfy, even if it feels like this is super messy, but I'm going forward anyways. That's okay. MSCI action is better than no action. We learn so much. From doing the thing. And making a mistake. Quote, unquote mistake because that's where so much knowledge comes from. It comes from the journey. It comes from the experience. It comes from walking the path. But what's cool about mentorship is when you're walking the path, you have someone to light it up for you to help guide you, to help show you the way. So you don't, you know, veer off the beaten path off to like some random land and have to circle back around three years later to the path you really needed to go on. And listen, I've done that. That's why I'm like. Such a proponent of mentorship because it saves you from these crazy, like long journeys often to space that steal your time and your joy and your energy and keeps you on the right path. When you work with experts that have already been where you want to be. And you're in rooms. With women that are going the same places you want to go. The power of this is immeasurable. So I say this all to say. Welcome to the effing Allie D show. I'm so glad you're on this journey. That gives me chills to say it makes me feel great. It makes me feel nervous. It makes me feel excited. But this is what business. Is about right. It's about creating fun. Exciting. Energy. That. Is fulfilling. And I want you to feel fulfilled in your business. I don't want you to feel. You know, like you're an imposter. I don't want you to feel like you're held back by something in the past or by something someone said to you or any of those things that can hold us behind because you guys, you know, what I tell you is that entrepreneurs, we have to be built different because we have to handle more things that most people never have to deal with in their entire lives. Entrepreneurs have to have more energy, more sides to them, more like gut and grit. As we're showing up for ourselves every single day, even when we don't see the evidence in plain sight. Even when we have, you know, a bad sales day, even if no one watches our content one day and we go viral the next and then no one watches our content the next day. Like we are on this roller coaster ride, but the more you figure out. And this side, how to regulate. How to be strong, how to show up day after day after day, how to put these limiting beliefs like imposter syndrome behind you. This is when the magic happens. I'm so excited to be on this journey. The LEDs show. It's official. And I just want you to do a little gut check after this podcast and go, okay. Allie did it. She had some sheers she had to deal with when it came to this. Where am I still hiding? Or not. Going all in. So I can actually create the mega business of my own. All right. I love you. Let's fricking do this. By the way I love to like, give me a little, like high five on social media, a virtual high five, come on to Instagram. Let me know you listen, let me know, like you're watching or watching. You're listening to the alley de. We're going to the 1% baby, this podcast. To the moon I'm taking you for the ride and we are going to become the best fricking business owners. The world has ever seen. I love you.
