Speaker 1:

Hello, welcome to the Allie D Show. It is March to Millions. Yes, we have officially begun March to Millions inside the Trendsetter membership. If you know, you know you're already in the membership. You know we've already kicked off the most epic 30 days of training and coaching and community in the entire frickin' universe For anyone that sells physical products. You're a boutique owner, you're a brand owner, you own an online store, you're a Shopify whiz and you want to grow and scale your business.

Speaker 1:

The next 30 days inside the membership, we're calling the march to millions. So what I'm doing is basically condensing the best information that I have about selling, marketing, scaling and leadership all down into 30 days, and I'm even going to try to make the trainings 10 minutes or less every single day. And literally, you join today, on March 31st, you will not be the same freaking person. You are going to expand so much and this is going to be my favorite month of all time. I could feel it. I feel like this is something that's going to be like an annual amazing thing where we all just sell our freaking hard outs and learn everything we can about growing and building a seven figure business, and not only that, but also becoming the absolute best business owners we can possibly be. So if you're not inside the membership yet, go to imatrendsettercom, jump inside and then in our Telegram channel is where all of our March to Millions trainings will be, so I'm super excited to see you in there. If you have any questions about the membership, just DM me on Instagram. We could talk about it. We could talk about your business and if the membership is a good fit for you and also right now I have opened up VIP, so VIP is an upgrade inside the membership is a good fit for you, and also right now I have opened up VIP, so VIP is an upgrade inside the membership, so you can jump into VIP. And it's where, in addition to everything that you get inside Trendsetter, you also get into this super small, fun, badass group of women that get weekly coaching with me. So every Tuesday we meet inside Telegram. You have all day to jump in, ask questions about anything going on in your business, whether it's content, website, email, followers, whatever the case may be. You need help with it. You can ask the question there and we can work it out. So it's a really fun way to have expert support me in your back pocket literally every single week. So I am just really, really thrilled about the March to Millions.

Speaker 1:

And one thing that I wanted to talk about today I actually heard in Alex Hermosi podcast. I feel like I've been like listening to his podcast a lot lately and a couple other people that I just I'm like expanding my universe for knowledge, not only for myself, but I also love learning things that I didn't really know were like a thing, like I just kind of either intuitively did it or had done it in the past and now I'm realizing, oh my gosh, this is an actual like strategy that I can help you guys implement into your businesses so you can continue to grow and scale. So I heard this really, really interesting concept and if you're someone that's been on the fence about investing in yourself and your own education, I really want you to pay attention to this, because I think one of the hardest things we can do as business owners and even as women sometimes, is we, like women, we know we can do anything and like if you're listening to this podcast, you are like an extra, extra woman who's like I can freaking conquer the world, just give me enough time, but what happens? A lot of time with too much time is we end up losing out on a lot of the actual like potential that we have because we're just trying to grind it out and make it happen, and grind it out day after day after day, instead of pulling back a little and going, okay, what if I actually invested in myself and paid somebody that already knows how to do this to teach me how to do this and then I can like you know what they call quantum leap I can jump, you know, ahead 10 years in a one hour training. So a lot of times, mentorship feels and coaching feels very scary, because either you've never done it before and so it's like this is weird, I don't know who are these people. That's like. Usually the first thing is like you're very skeptical of the whole thing, but then also is thinking like, okay, well, what if this doesn't work for me? Or we get all these like limiting beliefs that come into our head that can keep us from investing in ourselves. But what I heard this concept that Alex Hermosi talked about and is so freaking true and I'm living proof of this is the concept of ignorance debt. So you may be going okay, what the F does that mean? Let me explain it.

Speaker 1:

So the way that he explained it, he actually saw it in a presentation from another gentleman and the presentation was like about building or making a million dollars in a year, something like that. And so the person leading the presentation wrote the amount on the whiteboard one million dollars and then he called on one of the women in the audience and he said how much do you make per year? Because they were there trying to learn how to make a million dollars in a year. Okay, that's what they were trying to focus building their wealth. And she said well, I make fifty thousand dollars a year. And so what he did was point out okay, so what would it take for you to actually be able to invest in yourself this year so you can learn how to make a million dollars a year? And she said well, I only make $50,000, so I don't really have the money to make it. And his response was what's actually happening is, by you not investing in yourself to learn how to make a million dollars, you've actually lost $950,000 this year. Actually lost $950,000 this year, whoa. So when you look at investing in yourself like that and that's what he called the ignorance debt the amount of money that you're potentially losing every day, every week, every month, every year by not investing in learning the skills you need to know to get yourself to the next level.

Speaker 1:

And I thought this was so freaking, eye-opening because I was like, oh my gosh, yes, this is a great way to describe what sometimes is hard to put into words. Like, if I'm being super honest with you, I don't want to sound like I'm trying to sell you on anything. So a lot of times I have a hard time communicating Like it's not about me trying to sell you on anything. So a lot of times I have a hard time communicating Like it's not about me trying to sell you this thing. Like I want the freaking best for you, but I don't want you to think that I'm over here just trying to sell you my cool thing, you know. But I feel like this is a really good way to describe it's not about me selling you something. It's about you becoming smarter and better at what you're at. It's about you investing in yourself. You're not investing in me, right? You're investing in yourself.

Speaker 1:

So learning about the ignorance debt really helped me see a way that I could explain to you my community, on why investing in yourself is so important. So if there's a skill out there you need to learn, I don't care what it is Like. Let's say you want to be like a world-class bowler, okay, you can't just show up and bowl, strike after strike after strike, without learning how to do it and getting the tools. You got to invest. So why do we think that in business it's any different? It's not. You have to invest to learn the skills. So, for example, like with bowling, right, you got to get a coach, you got to get the right ball, you got to get a glove, you got to get the little bag to hold the ball. I don't know whatever it needs to become a world-class bowler. Now, could you become a world-class bowler if you don't really invest in yourself? Yeah, maybe, but it's going to take you 50 years, right. But if you invest in a coach that's already done what you want to do like, let's say, you want to learn how to strike out a whole game and you pay someone that can teach you how to do that, teach you the skills, give you the tools, you can learn how to do that in six months, where it might take you without that person six years.

Speaker 1:

So why do we feel icky about investing in ourselves. This is like the big question that I always have and it was the same way with me in the beginning Like why did I feel so much resistance when it came to actually going? Okay, I want to invest in myself Again. Number one I think it comes down to like us being the type of women we are. We're workers, we're go-getters, we know we can figure it out, we're problem solvers. Like eventually we feel like we're going to get it done.

Speaker 1:

But, for example, for what, it could take you years if you just decided you know what I'm going to learn, like I'm going to take a class on marketing. I'm going to find someone online that I really vibe with and I'm going to learn marketing from them. I'm going to learn how to run my books better. I'm going to learn how to be a better leader. I'm going to learn how to hire employees. All of these skills are so valuable. They will make you your first million dollars in sales and they'll make you your first million dollars in sales a lot faster the faster you learn the skill. So I don't want you to feel this is just. I want you to come, or I want you to listen to this and feel a sense of empowerment and not resistance when it comes to investing in yourself.

Speaker 1:

And I remember the first time that I made a big investment in myself when I when I spent $2,500, some of you may know this I spent $2,500 on a course to learn sales and marketing and it was from someone who was extremely successful. I loved her, I bought into her strategy, I liked her as a person. You know what I'm saying. Like that was like a numero uno, like if I don't vibe with you, like as a human being, I don't want to learn from you, no offense. Like we're not going to be a good cause, I'm just going to shut down and I'm going to go. So, like, first thing to do is who do you vibe with? Like, if you're listening to this podcast, you're probably like, oh, I kind of like this girl. Like you know, that's how it was for me. I was listening to her podcast, I was absorbing her information, I was following her on socials and again, this was like more than a decade ago. No, yeah, it was probably about 10 years ago. I had never invested in anything like that for myself before.

Speaker 1:

I was just trucking along at that point, hoping and praying that one day I was going to make it big. And I realized why am I doing this to myself? Like, why don't I just pay someone to teach me what to do? And it was the most eye-opening experience I had ever had in business up until that point, because what it did was it almost like opened up a door to this room that was just full of the exact freaking information I needed. So, instead of me opening up a thousand more doors, hoping that one of those doors is going to unlock unlock the information I walked into one room. I opened the door, walked into one room and it was all laid out for me in a nice little, pretty package that was easily digestible by someone who I like to listen to, and I agreed with how she built and run her businesses and it was just a match.

Speaker 1:

And from that point on, everything changed in my business. I went from feeling lost and confused and where's my sale going to come from, to I felt empowered. I was able to make the moves in my business. That felt good and also started to see results, and this is one of the best things. And also, like inside the membership, this is one of my favorite things to watch is when someone joins Trendsetter and they're like so excited, they're going to listen to the trainings and they're jumping in the community. They're asking about things, people are answering them back and forth and you know, a few weeks goes by and they're doing all the things and then all of a sudden they come and they go holy S word, it's working. Because they go from just feeling lost and like you put all your marbles in this basket and you're like I hope this thing works for me. You know, I hope it works, I'm going to give it my best foot forward. And then you actually start to see it working and you go. I cannot believe that I didn't pay $97 sooner to be in this membership. I can't believe I was scared. I can't believe I didn't go all in on myself because here I am, it's just been a few weeks and I've already made my money back tenfold. But it's really scary to invest in yourself. It's way scarier.

Speaker 1:

I was actually having the conversation in the DMs. I have a woman that's wanting to join VIP, so she DMed me. When you want to join VIP, I like to talk to you about where you are in your business. I like to like get more information. I mean, we're going to be working close together, so I got to make sure it's a good connection. And she was telling me like it's so much easier for her to just invest in more inventory than it is for her to invest in to learn how to sell the inventory. Are you guys feeling that too? Like raise your hand over there if you're like, yeah, I could spend all of my last dollars on inventory, no problem. But when it comes to actually spending money on myself to learn how to sell the inventory, it feels way freaking harder.

Speaker 1:

I get it, but what I want to tell you is that is your ignorance debt. I get it, but what I want to tell you is that is your ignorance debt. And the smaller you create your ignorance debt, the more profit you have. Right, you invest in yourself and, by the way, this grows exponentially. So you invest in yourself to learn one skill. That skill leads to another, that skill leads to another, that skill leads to another. So it stacks on top of each other and makes you more and more and more and more money because it's building upon each other. So this is like full permission for you to throw away those limiting beliefs that are holding you back from investing in yourself, and I'm I don't care if it's with me, but you've got to learn this stuff Find someone who you jive with, who you like the way that they run their business, who you feel comfortable with, who you want to listen to okay, and you want to receive the coaching.

Speaker 1:

That is going to be so game changing for you and your business. I always go back to this. Two things here. Number one you are your business. I always go back to this. Two things here. Number one you are your best asset. Okay, you are the most powerful thing your business has. It's you. So you better be freaking, building your skills, because you drive the ship here. You're the leader, you're the one in charge, so you better be steering the ship in the right direction, right, because just going off the path just a little bit, you could end up in no man's land. I don't want that for you. So that's the first thing. The second thing is you don't get what you want. You get what you are. So this is a way to say the results that you have right now are directly related to who you are as an entrepreneur and as a business owner. So you get what you are. So if you want to get better results, you have to become a better business owner, and that's how it all ties together.

Speaker 1:

So I want to invite you inside Trendsetter If you're ready for March to Millions. This is going to be like the best month to jump in, because we are really going so hardcore. It's daily. We're daily inside the membership. Some months we do different things. Last month we focused on famous February. The month before that, I think it was rise to fame. So we really built a lot of like visibility and strategy and now and those trainings were once a week, a couple of months, like it was. It's different, but this month we're going all in every single day Because, again, I want March to be this epic thing that we do together every single year and we grow together as a community.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait for you to jump in. You're going to have the best freaking time. Not only are you going to be learning how to uplevel yourself as a business owner, but we have the time of our lives doing it. I do not promote the hustle culture or the burnout culture. I believe that that is a fast track to misery and it's like we're not doing this to be tied down to our businesses. We're doing this because we actually want more freedom. All right, I love you. I'll see you inside Trendsetter Also. Again, feel free to DM me if you have any questions about the membership, but if there's been a time that you've been thinking about joining, it's inevitable, it's going to happen. Okay, because I'm the same way as you. I'll be like do I want to join this program? Do I want to join? And then all of a sudden, okay, I'm joining, so this is a great month to dive in. Okay, I love you. Have a great day.
