What up? Welcome to the LED Show. Today we're gonna talk about the idea that your Instagram isn't broken. Your strategy is Okay? Instagram is like this mystical creature that we all have to deal with, and what I'm here to tell you today is that so many people just think that. My Instagram is straight up broken because no matter what I post, no matter what I do, it still feels like crickets out here. I still feel like, eh, I am getting like followers every now and again, but you don't feel like you've corrected the code, so to speak. I'm doing that in quotes on exactly what you need to be doing in order to get Instagram to work for you, because at the end of the day, once you figure this out, you're gonna be so. Freaking excited and feel way less overwhelmed about content. Content is gonna turn into something that you freaking love. Does that feel like totally out there to you right now? You're like, uh, content. I don't wanna be a content creator. Here's the good news. Once you listen to this podcast episode and you nail down what I'm about to teach you, you are going to learn to, and not only learn, but you will start loving posting on Instagram and posting content in general because you are going to feel so much more comfortable with what to freaking do to actually get results from your content. And I think a lot of times business owners think that. The algorithm is the reason why they're not seeing results, not getting sales, not getting the clients or the customers that they want. But I hate to break it to you. It's not that. It's not that. It's not the algorithm. It's you my friend. So I'm gonna show you the real reasons your content isn't converting and exactly how to fix it. You ready for this? Are you over there going like, thank goodness, like, give yourselves like a little round of applause for listening to this episode today. Okay. So first of all, let's talk a little bit about some myths that, um, are going on in Instagram. So a lot of people think that Instagram just isn't working for them anymore. Maybe the way that they used to post or the way that you used to post used to get you results, and now it's just not working anymore. So what I want you to know is that we have been driven to believe that the more content we push out there, the better our results will be. The more engagement we'll have, the more sales we'll have, the more followers. Followers will gain. The more results, the bigger and the better Everything's gonna happen if you just push more content out there. But it's not about posting more, it's about having a better strategy. So this should actually feel like a major relief for you because how many of us freaking have the time to post 10 times a day on Instagram? I mean, it's like raise your hand if you're like, that is just not the vibes that I want for my life.'cause you found the right place. So some things that people think also is that like the algorithm hates me, or maybe you think I don't have enough followers. I hear that one all the time. If only I had more followers, my engagement is down. So the whole thing here is you don't have an broken Instagram. You don't have a problem getting visible. You have a messaging and strategy problem. And I think this actually means you get to take your power back. And I always say this should feel like a relief when I tell you that your results are your fault and your responsibility. Instead of going, eh, I want you to go. Yeah. Okay. I like that. I like that. The results are my responsibility.'cause who the heck wants to depend on some outside force to be able to get any kind of success in their life? You want it to be because of the work you're doing, the strategies you're coming up with and taking, and the reps you're putting in, and not placing the results of your business in the hands of a fricking robot or an algorithm. So this is why I'm so excited about this episode, and by the way, I'm also gonna be teaching you this inside a free experience that I'm launching. Actually, I just launched it yesterday. It's called Star Power. Star Power, showing you how to get star power, how to become unmissable, how to be so attractive that your customers, your clients, your people, find you. Like a moth to a flame. It's about this. It's about star power. If you want inside the free experience by the way, just go on Instagram. It's at allie.d.ceo. Dm me the word star power and I'll like auto send you a link for you to join. It's totally free. It's gonna be a masterclass and a private telegram group. Okay, we're starting on April 28th. We may start a little early just'cause I feel like we need to tailgate before the party goes down. But jump in today when you're hearing this after the podcast exit out, go to my Instagram, dm me the word star, power two words, one word, however you like. And my little, um, automated system will DM you the link to join for free. So super easy. So let's talk about the real reason why you're not getting sales from IG and you're not getting the results that you want. So these are like the gut punch, okay? But again, it's a good gut punch is if there's such a thing, this is gonna be a good one. So numero uno, your content isn't aligned with what you sell. I actually just had a woman come into my dms and she was talking to me about wanting to get in an audit for her Instagram because she was posting every day, but she wasn't seeing really much results, so she was putting in the heart and soul. I see that she's doing that, but the reality is, and what I told her and why I am like, yes, let's do this. I have these, um, IG intensives. You can DM me about it where we can really go deep dive into your Instagram strategy. And what I was seeing with her in particular is that her content was not aligned at all with what she was actually selling. So her content was around one thing, but what she was selling is something totally different and they're not aligning. So for me, it's like a very easy fix as someone who does this a lot and looks at people's Instagrams like all the time, and helps my clients with this and helps the trends that are girlies with this. To me, this is always very, very clear, but it's not to you as the business owner. And I would say, I'm actually thinking like of multiple people right now that I've worked with in the past where they fixed this one thing and they made their content more aligned with what they're selling that had crazy results within just days. These are easy changes that you will see drastic results from. So in terms of being aligned with what you sell, it's not even necessarily like physically what you're selling, but it's what is your brand about? What do you wanna make people feel? What do you want them to connect with in your brand? Is your content aligned with that? Or is it all over the place? Are you showing like, here's my dog, you know, eating his second dinner, or here's my, you know, um, I don't know, like random stuff. This type of content we think we should be posting because oh, it's gonna show me I'm gonna be more relatable. But if you don't do it in a strategic way that's aligned with your brand and what you sell, it's gonna fall flat. And this is sad because you're like, oh, I thought this video was so cute and so great. I love my content, and yeah, that's great that you love it, and that might do great on your personal page, but we're building businesses here and we're building big ones, so we have to focus on posting content that's aligned with what we sell. This doesn't mean it has to be perfect, it doesn't mean it has to be aesthetically like the, you know, perfect aesthetic feed at all. This is not about perfection, it's about substance. What is the substance in your content and is there a direct connection between what you're posting and what you're selling? And I'm talking more about the transformation here, the aligning with your brand than I am, and specifically like I have this to sell and I want you to buy. It's more about the substance. What is the substance of your content? Okay, next. This is the next gut punch You're posting, but not positioning. So you're posting a post. Again, we love that you're putting in the effort. You get an A plus for that. I'm clapping for you over here, but you're not positioning yourself or brand in any kind of way online. So you're showing up, but you're not standing out. You're not giving yourself any kind of position. Your brand isn't giving people a reason to buy from you or follow for you from you, or follow you, sorry, or engage with you over anyone else. There's no positioning there. So that's the second issue that I see. Just posting, not positioning. That means you're showing up but you're not standing out. And the third thing, the third gut punch is oof. And this one's kind of a hard one. You're showing up like a side hustle or a hobbyist, not a CEO. And what this means is you have no strategy behind what you're posting. There's no clear journey for people to discover you, follow you, and then buy from you. You're just out there again posting the post. No real thought process on how to take someone through a customer journey. I don't care if you are a boutique owner, you're a photographer, you're a hairstylist, you're a nail salon, whatever you do, you sell on Etsy. If you don't have a strategy behind how you're showing up online and you're just posting every day just to post, it's not gonna work, and you are gonna feel invisible. I don't know what it is right now, but the trendsetter membership is blowing up the WINS channel, so I can't wait to see what all these wins are. So inside, by the way, side note, sorry. Inside the trendsetter membership we have a WINS channel where this is where I have the girlies like post any good, anything going on in their life and their businesses. That's Wins. Great Wins. Anything at all. And it is blowing up right now. So I can't wait to open up the WINS channel after I finish recording this podcast. Ah, okay. So. Now let's talk about the fix, right? We talked about the reason why you're not getting sales from ig. Number one, your content isn't aligned with what you sell. Number two, you're posting, not positioning. And number three, you're showing up like a hobbyist or a side hustle, not a CEO. These are red flags for anyone that's trying to grow a business specifically while also using IG to support your sales revenue. Okay? So now let's talk about how you're going to shift this. So let's do a little sell on social media strategy. Okay. This is like a simple three part framework that I'm gonna give you so you could step into your star power and start selling your star power. Don't forget to join star power, by the way. Okay? Number one, you gotta clarify your core messaging. Nail your brand. What are you known for? Who do you help? How do you help them? The more specific you get, the more money you make. The riches are in the niches. I have been preaching this since day one. This is how you build million dollar companies. It's not from trying to people please and be everybody's cute, relatable friend. It's from getting specific on your brand message, who you are, who you help. Again, this is every single industry, every business. This must be done. You have to clarify that core messaging. Number two, you ready? You're taking notes. Number two, you have to create content with the buyer's journey in mind. So inside the Trendsetter membership, I teach what's called the trendsetter content strategy. This is where we create content with the buyer's journey in mind, and it's how my members inside trendsetter, it's how my clients will transform their businesses from getting like a couple of sales a week or a couple new customers a week, or clients to massively like 10 Xing their results. Because they start creating content with a customer journey in mind. They're not just showing up and going, oh, I'm gonna post my dog today'cause he's so cute and he gets me likes, great, I'm glad he is so cute. But likes are just likes. And we don't care about vanity metrics. We wanna create a strategy for your business. And this means you have to create content with your buyer's journey in mind. So it's a three step process. Inside trendsetter, we teach you how to be seen, how to build trust, and then to buy from you. This is the core of everything we do in our content, and it's how you will break through the noise on ig. So create your content with the buyer's journey in mind. Remember, they're gonna find you. Then you gotta get them to trust you, and then you gotta get them to buy from you. This is a strategy. We don't do this on a whim. Okay? And number three, for our three part sell on social strategy, easy fix it. Method number three. You gotta show up like a business, not a blogger. Okay? This means you're showing up with intention. You're building authority around your brand. You're building a connection. You're building emotional relationships online. You're not just selling to have another transaction, you're building a brand, and you have to show up that way. This means ditching any language that feels like salesy. Or weird or icky and start having good conversations leading the conversations online. With your content, are you just posting and posting random content or are you showing up as the leader of what you do? So again, if you're a female entrepreneur out there, I don't care what business you're in, you need to show up online like a leader, not a blogger. Okay, we're not describing a day in the life 24 7. This is what I see all the time. So many people post this content like it's a day in the life of, you know, a dot.do, let's just say it's like a day in the life of a hairstylist and you're, you're, no, that's your thing. You're out there doing it. I don't know why I keep thinking of this. It's just on my mind today. Okay, so let's say you're a hairstylist. You wanna grow your business, you're trying to do it online, and you're posting day in the life of a hairstylist. Do you think that your ideal client who you want sitting in your chair really cares about the day in the life of your of a hairstylist, or do you think they wanna know what is the perfect cut for the face of, for the shape of their face? Right. Right. Yeah. This is where businesses get really caught up in talking about themselves all the time instead of talking about their customers. And by the way, this is a whole thing. You make this one shift. You guys know I talk about this all the time. You make your customers your heroes, everything's about them. Your business will change and you will make more money than you could ever imagine. But by you always posting day in the life of a boutique owner day in the life of a hairstylist day in the life of a photographer, your customers don't care about that lovingly. What can you do for them? Here's the best haircut for the shape of your face. Ooh. Now I'm interested in what this girl has to say. You build authority. You show up like a brand, not a blogger. So I want you to really think about these things. Okay? So just to wrap it up, your your fix it strategy here, your sell on social media, fix it strategy. You gotta clarify your core messaging, number one. What are you known for? Who do you serve? How do you help them get fricking specific. You think you're specific? Get more specific. Number two, create with the buyer's journey in mind how you're gonna take them from a stranger on the internet to actually buying from you. And number three, show up like a brand, not a blogger. Building your authority in the space. So again. Instagram, it seems like this crazy mystical thing out there where it's like, ah, if you just do the right reel with the right trending audio, you're gonna go viral. That is such bs. Instagram is not broken. It's still having incredible results for so many brands every single day. But they're showing up with strategy. They're showing up not only with strategy, but strategy that works. It's not just like, oh, the content strategy is posting every day. Like, what did he do? No. The content strategy is exactly what I've defined in this podcast. It's your messaging, it's your buyer's journey. It's your authority. It's how you show up in a clear, concise way that's built for your customers, your people. Okay? And, and this is one thing I also wanna remember before I, before I sign off your dream customers, they're already there. They're already on Instagram, they're, they're chilling there. They're waiting for you to make yourself known so they can find you. Isn't that cool? Like, we're not creating this from thin air. It's not like, oh, I have to like build this random following of people. It's like, no, our job is just to communicate so clearly to the people that we think are gonna buy from us and show up and do that, like simplifying this whole thing. That's all it's about. Once you speak to them, IG will do the work for you in the background. IG wants you to be successful. It wants your content to go into the right hands of the right people because that means more MO law for them. The longer the people stay on the platform and engage with other people that are like-minded, the more money they make'cause the more ads they can freaking sell. This is not rocket science. It's all about the MO law for Instagram. So if you're creating content that falls flat and is blah, and no one connects with, they're not, they're not gonna give you no love. It's not gonna give you any love'cause you're not doing your job. You're not holding up your part of the bargain, which is creating content that actually speaks to people so they engage with you, so they follow you, so they become obsessed with your business. Become raving fans. And spend money with you regularly. This is what it's about. Okay. I love you. I hope this was helpful. Um, I also, again, wanna remind you that the Star Power Masterclass and free experience is open right now. I may end up limiting the amount of people in there because it is also a Telegram channel. I don't want it to get Craig Kray, but if you're interested in joining, it is a free experience and we're gonna be going over all of this stuff. I'm gonna teach you how to attract the right customers, talk to you about content, talk to you about your superpowers, get you on the right track so you can build your own million dollar company, because I know you can freaking do this, okay? I know you can't. You just need the right strategy and the right direction. So, DM me the word star Power on Instagram. And I will go ahead and shoot you over that link. It's an automated thing, okay? But just also say hello. After you're inside Star Power and you've joined DM Me and be like, Ali, I'm in. I'm so excited. I wanna get to know you, your business.
