Hello, welcome to the Ali D show. Today I'm going to do something a little bit different on the podcast. This is something that I don't think I've done before, but I'm going to give you a little bit of a sneak peek into a training slash audio that I dropped inside the Trendsetter membership a couple of days ago. So inside Trendsetter, we are in the middle of Momentum May. This is where I'm giving the girls, the Trendsetters, challenges that they can do every few days to start really building the momentum and challenging them to do things that I know are going to be needle movers, meaning money makers for the business. So this is a super fun month. If you're not inside, I want to invite you to come inside Trendsetter, especially if you feel like you need the knowledge of what exactly to do. You need to learn how to do it, but then you also want the accountability of actually putting it into play, and this is where you get support from the amazing women inside. It's super fun. So this training is from our private Telegram channel that's only available to the women inside Trendsetter, so I'm going to drop it here after this message. Okay, so I want you to really learn these tactics, really learn these strategies that are inside the trendsetter membership, and I want to share with you a little bit of what it's like to be inside the membership, specifically during the month of May.

Momentum is so key to building, growing and scaling your business, and the trick with momentum is it's repetition, repetition of the money-making activities. So if you feel confused about what you're supposed to do every single day to bring in sales for your business or to make money for your boutique, this episode is going to be for you, and this month inside Trendsetter is going to be for you as well. You're going to hear me talking about going live, because going live is the first challenge inside of Momentum May. Some of you may have gone live before. Some of you may have not gone live before. Going live doesn't have to be a part of your strategy. But the reason why I'm asking you to do this inside Momentum May is twofold. Number one it stretches your capacity of what you think you're capable of doing if you haven't gone live yet. So it's getting you out of your comfort zone to kind of get used to the feeling of what it's like when you step outside of what you're quote unquote normally doing, because when you step outside of your own status quo, that's when you get growth. So it's a challenge to those that maybe haven't gone live before to take that first step of actually going live. Does this make you like have heebie-jeebies already? If so, good. I want you to feel that, okay, have heebie-jeebies already, if so good. I want you to feel that that's your indication that this feels stretchy, and growth and sales and momentum lies in the stretchy feeling.

The second part of going live, and why it can be such a powerful momentum builder, is because it gives incredible quick trust with your audience. And trust is something that can take a long time to get, especially when people just find you. You're brand new. Maybe you're still in like that. You haven't quite hit the 10k per month mark. This is an indication that the trust isn't quite there yet with your customer base. So going live is a really great way to skyrocket the trust, because people see you and they see you're a real person. You're not some random boutique that's going to steal their money and they're never going to see their product. They're like oh, I like this girl, I get it, I like the vibe, I like what she sells, I liked her funny meme that I saw. I've been following her. I haven't bought from her yet because I just wasn't sure I haven't got to see her stuff enough. But now they're catching you live. This like literally the relationship becomes 10 million times stronger when someone has a chance to see you live, even if you don't get any sales from it.

That's not the only reason why I want you going live as part of this challenge. It's again to build trust, to build momentum and to stretch you a little bit. Okay, so here's the audio. Enjoy. Happy Saturday, trendsetter. It's fricking momentum. May.

I am so excited to be dropping in challenges that I'm specifically designed to build you momentum, but here's what I don't want you to do. Okay, I don't want you to overthink any of this or get lost in the sauce of making any of it perfect, because the truth of the matter is, momentum is about repetition, even when you're like I don't know if this fricking sucks, but I'm just going to do it because Allie told me to do it. That's like the mentality that I want you in in terms of like, don't overthink these challenges, just move. Okay, this is what it takes when you start to build a business on strategy, things are going to feel different. It's going to feel strange, it's going to maybe feel cringe, because you're most likely used to and comfortable doing what you're currently doing, but we're not here to stay status quo, to stay at the same level that we're currently at. We're here to grow. So I just wanted to drop this little note in here just to say and, by the way, they're building a new fence, so if it starts to get really loud I'll cut it off and start again. And, of course, monroe starts to singing as soon as I start making you guys a voice message.

Speaker 1:

But the whole point is to just be sure that you are allowing the magic to happen. The magic doesn't happen from you just staying still and questioning and second guessing and going oh, I don't know, like what should I do in my life? Just fricking, go live. Okay, the only way you get better and build momentum is by actually moving Right and not just staying where you are. If you wanted to stay where you are, you wouldn't be in trendsetter. But you want to lead the pack, you want to be the one that's like out there doing the thing, building the massive company. This is what it takes. Okay, I know it's going to be hard.

Speaker 1:

Listen, 90% of this game is what's going on inside your mind. I'm telling you the strategies. The strategies work. Where we get hung up is what we start thinking about and letting our the mind drama kick in. Right that? Oh well, I've never been live. I don't know what to do Like should I do this? How? What if someone buys Like, right that, oh well, I've never been live, I don't know what to do like, should I do this? How? What if someone buys like, what if I don't? I don't have? Like, no, we have to move.

Speaker 1:

And then, once you go live the first time you're gonna go, oh, okay, well, the next time that was first of all. It's not gonna be so scary and if you love going live, this is just a challenge to you to like get back into it if you haven't been doing it and just go. Okay, well, I went live. It wasn't so bad. Yeah, it was for like three minutes, okay, but it's better than no minutes. And this is, this is the thing. This is like the whole secret is we're here for the long haul, we're in the long game.

The minute you remove these beliefs about I can't do it because dot, dot dot. I don't know it because dot, dot dot, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not skilled enough, I've never been live. What if everyone laughs at me? I'm so embarrassed. What if no one buys? What? Who cares? Who cares?

Speaker 1:

You have to move through those parts to get to the part where you go live and people sell out your shiz. Okay, I've watched this time and time again with my clients is getting them to move through this phase, the phase of uncertainty, because everything you want out of your business is on the other side of you facing this uncertainty. And that's what this month is designed to do to get you to move without getting stuck in the analysis, paralysis, analysis, paralysis. Without getting stuck in the analysis, paralysis, analysis, paralysis. Whichever way it is okay, it's to get you unstuck and to get your feet out of the freaking mud and just start walking. You got to walk before you run, right, like that's life, that's human existence. So we got to give ourselves a fighting chance here.

Okay, I'm so excited to help you through this month, like I'm freaking pumped, and when you guys are going to go live, I would love for you to let us know in the Trendsetter chat so we can get on the live and support you. You may be like I don't want anyone watching, fine, okay, don't tell us, but at least drop the replay. Or at least just drop and say guys, I did it, I went live. And once you've got it one time under your belt, any of these challenges, okay, like, I have specific challenges of the things that I feel like are a little for you out there and the things that I know create momentum. Okay, and I want you guys to build million dollar companies.

Like, more than anything and I've been saying like more recently, and I really want you guys to understand this is I've already done this myself I have an incredible freaking company that runs like clockwork, that I literally don't have to even be there. I'm home raising my two kids and looking at the big picture, which is exactly what I freaking dreamed of. You guys, like, I am here doing it and this is for you too, but you got to get out of the sauce, the mud, the mind drummer, and you got to just take the action. So please don't just look at this and go. Oh, she wants me to go live. I'm not doing it. No, I want you to do it.

Speaker 1:

This is full permission that this month, I'm going to challenge you and I'm going to take you out of your comfort zone a little bit and I'm going to make you do things that you're going to go. Oh, I don't know. I feel like I don't know if I want to do this and I'm not going to give you too many like. I don't want to give you that much warning because I don't want you to be able to mull over it. Okay, it's like better, like. Here's the challenge. Oh, and, by the way, what I was saying was before I got off on the tangent was I've created this business myself and I know this is what you want too.

Speaker 1:

And now my joy. I wake up every morning thinking about you guys and how I can help make things happen for you, and I want you to know it brings me so much freaking joy. And you guys tell me this in the DMs You're like Allie. I love your like sunshine attitude. It's because I love this. I love seeing you grow, I love seeing you learn. I love seeing you come into Trendsetter having very little sales.

Speaker 1:

And then the next thing I know you're selling out pre-orders and you're not even getting to the drop date because it's already sold out. You guys, this is it, this is the thing. But you've got to stick through the funky times. We're in it for the long haul. I want you to just be like I'm in Trendsetter for the next year Mentally not because I want you to be in here for a year, but you mentally. I want you to see the long haul. Imagine yourself two, three, four months from now. The changes are insane.

Speaker 1:

That happen quickly, and by quickly I don't mean overnight, I mean you seeing the vision, giving yourself a little bit of grace here, not looking at like the like, lame-o. Oh, I went viral overnight on TikTok and like, okay, great, but you know what happens to all those people they overbuy, inventory and then it's stuck there because they never had a strategy in the first place. And that ain't gonna happen to you. You're going to build the most solid AF company where the foundation is so freaking strong that literally like the biggest tornado in the world could not blow it over. That's what I want. I was able to do that in my business. Listen, we have been through COVID literal shutdown of businesses and stores. Okay, literal shutdown of businesses and stores. Okay, of markets my whole livelihood. We have been through the economy, the wild political climate. We're in the tariffs right now and like I don't even like it's not going to bug us because we're going to get through it.

Speaker 1:

I don't let the external get in the way of my momentum, and you can't either. And for you, I don't want you to let the external or the internal, we don't care. We're trendsetters, we're 10 steps ahead of everybody else. All right, this is the mentality. This is the mentality I need you to have this month. Get super focused. It's freaking on it's momentum.
