Hello, welcome to the Allie D Show. I am really excited to record this episode for you guys because this is something that I'm doing real time in my business right now, and I thought, oh my gosh, you guys know I love to bring these little behind the scenes moments to the podcast because I feel like there's so much, there's so much value and like lessons in learning from someone who's actively creating something in their business. Because for me, a lot of my questions are always like oh okay, I get it. I see that you have this big goal, which I'll talk more about, but how the heck are you going to do that? So that's what I'm going to be breaking down in here, because you're going to be able to use a lot of the things that I'm doing right now, literally today, in your business to help you achieve your own milestones, whatever that looks like for you. So right now, I am planning it's September when I'm recording this podcast episode and releasing it, and I am planning what I want my goal for sales in January to look like. So the goal that I've set myself and this is just even wild to say is $250,000 in sales for the month of January Okay, just the month of January, so I'm going to break down exactly how I think I'm freaking going to be able to do this, and what it's going to look like again, so you can start doing the same things for your business.
Speaker 1:Before I get into this, though, I need to send a massive congratulations for all of the women that have joined Trendsetter University so far. You guys are get ready. You are going to be on the ride of your life, and if you don't know what Trendsetter University is yet, or you haven't been stalking me on Instagram and like opening my emails I love you, but open my emails then you haven't heard about Trendsetter university yet, which is a six-month program that I have just launched. We're starting on october 13th, where, every single week, I'll be taking you through my seven figure formula, so this is a framework that I developed specifically for product-based business owners on what they can do every single week to make sure you are doing the right moves to build your million dollar company, because what I've noticed from working with you guys for a few years now, building my own business, watching and seeing how other people operate, is that I really feel like there's three absolutely necessary components for someone to see success with their business, especially if it's like you you're a high achiever, you're a goal oriented, you want to do big things. You need you typically are like me, probably and you're like okay, I need a framework, I need to figure out how I'm going to do this and also what I want to do is eliminate all of the roadblocks that may possibly come up during this process. So that's what I created Trendsetter University to do. To number one, give you all the knowledge you need to actually build your million dollar company. Okay, what are the frameworks, what are the strategies, what are the tactics, what are the how to? What do you need to do every single week to make this happen for you?
Speaker 1:But then the second part of this is huge. It's support during the implementation process, because I feel like there's nothing worse than you know getting a program or getting a course, and you get dumped into like some kind of portal that has a hundred trainings and you're like I don't even know what to do. Am I even doing it right? Like I think I get what she's saying, or I think I get what they're saying, but I don't know if I'm actually doing like the right thing here. So that's the second component of the Trendsetter University is, throughout the six months, you will have support with me inside Telegram, so that's a tool that I use to communicate with all of my students and my clients. So you get the frameworks right. But then you also get support during implementation. And this is where most businesses crumble is they don't know how to put it in action, and so from working with you guys over a few years now, I see that this is like the magical combo. I could give you all the knowledge and information in the world, but if you don't know how to do it, or you get analysis, paralysis, or you freeze up or you get overwhelmed. It's hard to push through that without having the support. So that's why I built Trendsetter University.
Speaker 1:And then the third component that I am so adamant about now is having the community, having the women that are going through exactly what you're going through and working together to make your dreams a reality. It's this extra level of support that, if you've never experienced this, you don't know how bad you need it until you have it Okay, because, as a former lone wolf girly, someone who literally did the majority, I would say like most of the years flying solo, and then recently in the past I would say three years have gotten into more of like a support with a group of other seven, eight figure entrepreneurs that are actively building their businesses, just like y'all are doing. Right, you may be at the early stages, you may be doing six figures, seven figures, but you want to continue to grow and scale. You have to have a community of women around you that are doing the same thing. And there's been a quote that I've been saying recently which I feel like is so true, which is if you want to go slow, go alone. If you want to go fast and far, you go together.
Speaker 1:So this is what Trendsetter University is built upon. It's built upon the knowledge and the frameworks right. Obviously, you need to know the how. It's built upon the support during implementation process having expert support as you're going through and implementing. And, number three, it's built on the community, the support of the other women that you can tap into every single day, because this journey is no joke. You need it. You need that support, especially if you want to go far and you want to go fast, and I know you want to do both. So I'm going to invite you inside Trendsetter University If you haven't already checked it out, go to imatrendsettercom and it'll pull up all the information about it. You can DM me at Allie DCEO on Instagram if you have any questions about it. But again, we are starting October 13th and enrollment will close shortly thereafter. So if you feel like you need the freaking support, this program is a great price point. It's a great program and it's six months of incredible support for you. Okay, so check it out. It's imatrendsettercom.
Speaker 1:Okay, so let's talk about how I think I'm going to make $250,000 happen for the month of January. So the very first thing I'm going to be focusing on is planning. Right, I'm not just thinking like January 1st is going to get here and then I'm going to start figuring out how I'm going to bring in a quarter of a million dollars. Right, like that does not make sense. So it's September, we're four months out. So I'm actively doing what I believe needs to be done in order to get to this kind of goal. So I'll take you through more of what that looks like.
Speaker 1:But you cannot reach milestones and reach goals if you're running your business on a whim, if you're showing up and going oh, how am I going to make a sale today? Oh well, I have a goal. And again, I don't care what your goal is. Maybe you're just getting started, maybe your goal is $1,000 in revenue for the month. You still have to have a plan to get there right. You still can't just show up and go oh well, I'm going to make a thousand dollars this month. Okay, how? How are we going to do that? What does the next four weeks look like?
Speaker 1:And when you get really, really good at this, you start planning this months out. It's almost like forecasting no-transcript. So the very first thing is planning out how are you going to do this? And recognizing if I want to set goals for my business, I can't be the woman that's going to wake up every single day starting from zero, which means how am I going to get sales? What needs to get done today? Am I doing all the right things Like a woman that's building a real business, is building in confidence and building with a plan? So if you're not doing this yet, don't worry, you're going to do this. Maybe this is the first time you're hearing this, or maybe you're like I kind of wanted to have a plan, but I don't know what to do. We're going to figure that all out.
Speaker 1:But the first thing is recognizing that you need a plan. My friend, planning is going to do so much for you Again. It's going to take you out of that chaotic role and bring you into more of like a CEO, leader, energy role. And whenever you're leading from a place of confidence and like oh, I freaking know what I'm doing, even if we kind of really don't right, that's fine, but at least you're making a plan and you're putting yourself in the position of what that feels like. Whenever I have students start working with me and I give them a plan immediately, what happens is they have the weight of the world lift from their shoulders because most of the times they're in survival mode. You may even not recognize it's survival mode. You may just think like this is normal, but what I'm telling you is it's not normal to run your business like that. So you got to have a plan, okay. So that's what I'm doing right now. I'm creating my plan.
Speaker 1:What am I going to do to hit that milestone in January? Here's what I need to do I need to be setting up certain appointments. I need to be making sure certain people have line sheets. I need to make sure that my samples are going to certain people that are decision makers. There's a lot that's going to go into me being able to get the yeses that I want. When January comes, here comes. But if I start in January, I'm too late.
Speaker 1:And you know what else I know from someone who's been in the industry is, for me, as someone who runs a brand, a product-based business, january is the biggest month of the year. So I now know that I got to have my shiz together when January rolls around, because that's the big splash. Yes, we continue to do amazing. We just had a six-figure sales month in August. Okay, so I'm not saying that it's not going to happen throughout the year, but I know that a lot of the decisions are made in January. That's when budgets are high, that's when buyers are ready, that's when everything aligns in the universe for me to make this happen. So I'm not picking like a random month. I'm picking the month where I know this could actually be a possibility because of all the outside factors that I know happen in our industry.
Speaker 1:Okay, so that's the first thing is really just planning for this and making sure that I'm setting myself up for success. Always and again, this is what you want to do in your business too. I don't care what revenue level you're at. Okay, so that's the first thing. The second thing I want to talk about is the data. Right now, for my business, it is crystal freaking clear exactly what brings in the most revenue.
Speaker 1:So in the past, what I've done is, even if there's stuff that's not making me a lot of money, I really try to force it to happen. I'm going to make this work. I'm going to make this work and putting all this effort and energy and trying to make something work, instead of looking at what's already working. And can I double, triple, 10x down on that? This is a big eye-opener for a lot of business owners, because for you, you're inundated with so many avenues to bring in revenue. Right, you got Facebook ads, you got SEO, you got Pinterest, you got blogging, you got influencers, you got Instagram, you got TikTok, you got going live, like the list goes on and on, and on, and on, and on and on and on. But if you take a good, hard look and I just did this with a private client recently and it was so eye-opening for her and now she's freaking, killing it it's insane.
Speaker 1:But what we did was we looked at simply what was already working, like let's look at the data. What's working on TikTok? What's working on Instagram? Where are you getting the most revenue from? If it's from going live, you need to go live more and if it's not from writing blogs and making a Pinterest post, then let's put that by the wayside, because why are you spending hours and hours every single month doing this activity that we know for your business? We're forcing it to try to work instead of it's so much freaking easier for you to just put your effort in what's already working and not getting emotionally attached to that right?
Speaker 1:Like, oh, but I just want Pinterest to. I'm just using Pinterest as an example. You could fill it in with anything, right? Oh, I just want SEO to work. So bad. Oh, I just want TikTok to work. So bad, I just want Instagram. I just want my Facebook group or whatever it is. Fill in the blank there, but I just want it to work, so bad.
Speaker 1:Okay, sister, I love you for that, but you have other areas in your life that are working right now in your life and your business. Right, every time you go live, you do $1,000 in an hour. Okay, well, if you want to go from $1,000 in live revenue for the week to $10,000,. Let's up the amount of lives you're doing. Now you're going from $4,000 a month in revenue for lives once a week to $40,000 in revenue from lives because you're doing more of what's working and, again, fill in lives with anything for you.
Speaker 1:Okay, this could be sending out emails. This could be posting it more in your Facebook group, wherever you see the data of what's working. Do more, do more of that, okay, doesn't it sound so simple? But you would be surprised at how many people, when you're in your own business, you get very lost in the weeds and in the sauce, and I'm just a third-party perspective over here that can see like the bird's eye view of what's going on in your business, and that's why people love these. These telegram days with me are like these 60 minute intensives. If you want any of that, just DM me on Instagram, because I love getting into this with you for your business. I just freaking love this. So if you're like, okay, I want to do this with Ollie, just DM me.
Speaker 1:But this is where it's hard for you to see it yourself because you're so in it. So what I'm telling you now is to take a step back and look at the big picture today, today, tomorrow, the next day and start looking at what's already working. And even if this is like you don't even have sales yet okay, say you have zero dollars in sales there's still clues on what's working. Clues in your engagement, clues in your comments, clues in your email subscription, clues in how many people are visiting your website All of those things you can look at. Even if you don't have dollars in data, you can still figure out this information from other clues. Data is extremely powerful in our business because it's clues, clues, clues, clues. Okay, so be sure, you are looking at the data.
Speaker 1:Now, this last one that I want to talk about is a little more intangible. So what does that mean? It means it's not really measurable, but it probably is the most important of all the things you're going to need to do when you're setting goals for yourself. It's having some delulu right, the delulu effect affect, creating big goals that are way out of your norm, but knowing that you have the power to make it happen, because if you don't believe you can do this oof, that's a big one to overcome. You're going to have to train yourself in confidence, train yourself in belief. Train yourself in confidence, you showing up every single day, even when you're not reaching your goal, even if things feel slow, even when no one's buying, even if you feel invisible, even if you think your content like no one sees it, even if the algorithm hates you, whatever the things you're telling yourself, you have to have the delulu to show up every single day, regardless.
Speaker 1:This is the biggest lesson you will learn about being a quote unquote good business woman is that you have to believe in yourself. So how do you do this? How do you learn this skill which, by the way, this is a skill okay, and I'm not talking about just like floating around in the universe and being like I'm the best, I'm going to manifest success. It's like great, I love that. Okay, but how right? The way that you make this happen for yourself is you show up every single day and you keep promises to yourself, and it's little promises every single day that build your confidence. You cannot skip this part. So if you're saying I'm going to post on Instagram and TikTok tomorrow and you don't, you're taking away your chance to build confidence. You're taking away your chance to see, to show yourself that you're going to do what you say you're going to do.
Speaker 1:This is so underestimated and underrated in what it takes to grow a successful business. So for me, does $250,000 feel delulule F-freaking-yes, it does Big time. But if I don't have that vision, if I don't put myself into the role of someone who can actually make it happen and then follow through every single day, you're never going to have big goals or big milestones. You're always going to be playing small and that's not what we do here in trendsetter university land. We play big and I think I'm just going to go off on a tangent here. But I think so many women play small and I kind of hate that terminology. Play small because, like what does that mean? It means your goals are tiny, like right now.
Speaker 1:You probably, you know you just want to have enough sales to pay the bills or just to get by or just to kind of, you know, not have to go to a nine to five, which all those are very admirable. But I'm challenging you to think bigger. Think bigger. If you're at $0 right now, think about what your first 10K month is going to look like and how you would be showing up for that, and stop thinking about how you'd be showing up to make a hundred bucks. There's a very big difference in the way that you're going to show up, right. You're going to have more education. You're going to know the frameworks. You're going to take action. You're going to know what to do. You're going to step up for your business every single day. You're not going to be like being a weenie, hiding, not getting in front of your social media, like all those things. Those got to go. So you got to start thinking about that now.
Speaker 1:So this is my plan how I'm going to make this milestone happen. There's a lot of nitty gritty that I haven't gotten into which I can, if you want to, I can tell you more of the details, but I want you to understand it's more about these three main things. So we're planning. We're planners. We're not running businesses from a whim. We're not running our business waking up every morning and panicking. We're planning out what this looks like for us.
Speaker 1:Number one we're also looking at the data. So we're crystal clear on what we need to do to double, triple, 10x down on to make your milestones happen. And then, thirdly, we got to be Delulu. We got to believe in ourselves, even when there is no freaking proof that you can do it, because, listen, if it's a milestone, it means you haven't hit it yet, and if you haven't hit it yet, you have no proof, you're gonna do it. And if you have no proof, you're gonna do it. It feels really freaking scary and out there, but that's the point. That's the point. Okay, I love you guys. I hope this was helpful.
Speaker 1:If you listened to this episode and you're like, ooh, I loved it, just shoot me a DM, screenshot it, post it on your Instagram stories, tag me Again. Don't forget to check out Trendsetter University. Literally, guys, this is going to be the most incredible, insane thing.
