SPEAKER_00Hello, welcome to the Al E D show. Okay, I am so excited for this episode. It's gonna be a little bit different. In this episode, I'm going to be dropping in a training that I just did inside Let's Go Girls. But what I'm gonna talk about in today's audio drop that was inside Let's Go Girls was my biggest takeaway from my photo shoot that happened this weekend for my brand. Because so many people have photo shoots and they are missing the main piece of the puzzle that actually helps your photos sell your products. Because as you guys know, you guys you can have two people selling almost the exact same thing, and one person is gonna sell the wazoo out of it, the other one, it's not going anywhere. And the reason why is this foundation that I'm gonna talk about in today's episode. So before you plan your next photo shoot, before you take another product photo, listen to this episode and make sure you understand this the ins and outs of the biggest tech takeaway that I'm gonna talk about because it's so imperative to you. The other thing that is kind of like a fun little bonus in the voice note in the beginning, I go on a little rant, a little alley rant about you making sure you're using discernment on who you are learning from online. Because the online teaching, coaching space is very shiny, and there's a lot of people online that are teaching a lot of things that have never actually done what they're teaching, it's just theory, and so this is just my letter to you, basically, in this little rant, um, on making sure that you use discernment with who you're listening to, who you're taking notes from, who you're paying attention to, because this part is really, really important. The wrong advice can lead you astray, and I don't want that to happen to you. So I start this voice note with a little bit of a rant on that, and then I'm gonna go into my biggest takeaways from my photo shoot this weekend, which by the way was the most iconic, exciting, amazing, incredible thing. Like I was like wanting to scream, cry, laugh, all the things, but I had to, you know, just hold it together because it's just one of those magical moments in business where your planning and your thoughtfulness and your you know, sometimes it just seems like so much thought goes into things, and you think like I hope this pays off, but then it always does. The more you think, the more thoughtful for you are, the more foundations you have in place, then you start creating these magical moments like on the regular. So, with that being said, here is the training. Hello to my lovely let's go girly girlies. Let's go girl girlies. It is a fabulous day here. I am still just reeling over my photo shoot that we had yesterday for my new line, and it was just such like oh, just like an epic experience for me because I think for so long, like this has been the vision that I've been wanting to craft and create, and it just all came together. It was just one of those special moments that you'll have in business when you're like, yes, this is the look, yes, this is the vision, it's the mood, it's the aesthetic, it's everything, it's the models, it's the like everything was on point. And those are just those little magical moments. But I wanted to kind of talk to you about some takeaways that I have from yesterday from hosting the photo shoot and all the things, which I thought would be beneficial for you in here, um, as you are obviously having to plan your own photo shoots and your own stuff. So, just on a side note, what I want to say is, and I this has been on my mind, and this is probably a whole conversation in and of itself, but what we have in this space is really valuable because what I think happens, and I'm just putting this out there just as like a little thought for you guys to think about, as you're absorbing and learning content from people on the internet, or not like content specifically, but as you're learning about business from people on the internet, I want you to pay attention to this one thing. I want you to be use discernment with who you are deciding to listen to or invest money in. And this this goes for me too, okay? I want you to make sure that the person that you're learning from is actively or listen, I just want to say actively, but I don't I really don't know that there's anybody else out there besides me that's doing this. But what I'm finding the issue that I'm seeing online, and what I why I really feel like it's detrimental to our industry is I I would do it like this. I would say about 80% of the people teaching you stuff out there are teaching you theory, meaning they're they've never really done what they are teaching, but they understand the theory. And I'm not trying to disparage anybody or their business, but what I'm saying is for you specifically, I just want my girlies to think about this and have this discernment. So because I know it can get very, very cloudy, there's a lot of information out there. So I just want you to think about this. Is the person actively doing what I want to do, or have they done what I want to do? Okay, that's like the first basic question. A lot of people have really shiny marketing. There's they have great theories about marketing, they have great theories about sales, but they've never built their own business, like seven-figure business. So it's like, okay, cool. I get that you understand the concept, but have you done it? Because as we know, once you get in the trenches, it is way freaking different. It's way different. It's like, ooh, this is actually way harder than I thought it was gonna be. These people make it look easy, like, oh, if I if I could just use this one hook and like post consistently, everything's gonna be super and I'm gonna be a zillionaire. And like, I wish that was the case, but as we know, that is not the case. So I feel like in our industry, 80, maybe even 85% of the people that are teaching stuff in our industry, the product-based industry, are teaching theory. They've never owned a product-based business. I would say from there, maybe like five to ten percent of people have in the past owned a product business, but maybe don't anymore or don't do it currently anymore. And that is their angle. Okay, so out of like literally like 90% of the people out there, 85% of the people, most of them have not built a product-based business. They're teaching you theory around it, and it's very shiny and it's great content, and they use a fancy camera, and they can say all the jumble jarbles, right? And we're like, they're smart, right? But then I'm going, wait, you're like, you haven't done this. Like, yeah, you can bounce around to all these fancy parties and you you talk great, but have you ever built a seven-figure product-based business? No, right? So again, what they say may be valuable, but I'm just saying use discernment. And then there's the other category of people that's very, very small. You guys, I'm talking very small that I have found that teach product-based business owners because they've actually done it, a very small percentage. And then there's even the one step beyond, and this is what I look for in my own personal coaching. It's why I'm sharing this with you. I like to look for the person who is not only successful, they've done what I want to do, they've built the seven-figure company, they are, you know, very, very successful in their own right. Not only have they done that, but and they're now teaching other people, but they're still actively growing their product-based business, they're still in the trenches. I have found, I actually haven't found anybody that fits that bill. There may be a couple people out there. You can DM me and let me know because I would love to see that. But people that are currently have built multi-million dollar product-based businesses that are actively still growing from seven to let's say eight figures, right? They're still growing their own businesses and they're coaching other people how to do it. This is like a very, very rare unicorn situation. So that's why I want to say I'm very proud of you for being inside Let's Go Girls. And it's why I feel like this container is so much more valuable than so many other places out there. I'm going off on a tangent here, but we gotta, we gotta talk about this stuff too, okay? The reason why it's so much more valuable is because this is the space where you get to learn from someone who's literally actively a multi-million dollar business owner growing to aid figures and taking you behind the scenes to make sure that you can do the same for your own business. This is not freaking theory. Like, I am in the trenches every day, and I just want you guys to know that that is a very, very special thing to be able to be a part of because again, 95, 90, it could even be 99. I could be that one rare unicorn out here doing this, okay? And that's why I like had this really big realization yesterday when I was like, I need to take my girls behind the scenes of what's going on. And I'm like, wait, how many other people can do this? And the reason why I'm saying it is not to toot my own horn, is to let you know that it is extremely valuable, and that's what I look for in mentors. I want to hire people that are actively still balls to the wall growing their business and have already been successful because I know they're gonna have the most um useful and special and incredible insight for myself, and so I just want to share that with you guys. Just use discernment on what you're learning, how you're learning it, and all the things, okay? Going back to, uh sorry about my rant, but I just had to get that out there. But going back to um lessons that I learned from the photo shoot yesterday, one of my biggest takeaways that I want to come in here and talk to you about, and I mentioned it as well in um my behind-the-scenes stuff inside Six Secrets to Six Figures, pop in there and listen to those voice notes if you get, if you get a chance. But one of the most important things is the preparation part, but even before the preparation of the actual photo shoot, it's your business foundations. And this is where 99% of people totally drop the ball. They don't have the foundations built in their business, they don't understand that products sell based around lifestyle and not the features of the product. And guys, I wish it was not the case. I wish you could just get up there and describe your product and have people buy from you, but as we know, that is not how we get sales. We get sales by tapping into a deeper emotional thing, and this is just the way it is. We just accept it and we learn how to do this. So if you're missing the foundations piece where you haven't clearly defined the lifestyle that you believe your brand represents, the values your boutique represents, the lifestyle, who you can cater to, what the person does on a daily basis, and how your products seamlessly fit into their life, if you can't define that, you cannot build higher success without that foundation. Like you can't build the walls, like you can't build the skyscraper. Can you piddle along and like get by? Sure, but we're not here to piddle along and get by. We're here to build stuff that's iconic. And if you want to build iconic brands where you are selling out your inventory and you are just like people lining up, the right people, and everything you put out, they're like, oh my gosh, this is so me. If that's what you want to build, you need to understand this foundations part, and you have to do this kind of work. You have to do the lifestyle work because it is absolutely 1 million percent imperative. And it was so this is something that I've known over the years, but it was just so apparent to me when I was in the photo shoot yesterday and I was watching everything come together, and I was like, this is not normal. This is why we did, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales in January. And I still don't have the the like exact number yet, otherwise I would have said it, but it is insane, you guys. It is insane. So I want you to know that if you build these the foundation, which takes time, you guys, it takes time to figure this stuff out. Do not think you're just gonna magically wake up and know all of this. Everything worth a shiz takes time figuring out. But I want you to put effort into this part. Don't just rush into um trying to grow and scale and do big things and go viral if you don't understand what is the basics that your business stands for. Once you figure this out, every decision you make is going to be so easy peasy. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, as my four-year-old daughter says. I'm like, where did you even learn that? Maybe it's me, right? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. If you don't have the foundations in place, you're gonna have a really freaking rough time. Really rough. So this is the key to everything, and it's why my photo shoot was so iconic and epic yesterday, and it's why everything was so easy. You guys, it was so easy. It was not spazzy or chaotic or anything. It was like so freaking calm. We were all chilling, like it was one girl, like it was like the best ever. And the results were insane. Exactly what I wanted. But it's because I understand the lifestyle of my woman so clearly. I know the ins and outs, I know what she cares about, I know what she accepts, I know what she doesn't accept, I know what it what attracts her, I know what detracts her, which is just as important. I know what she stands for, what she doesn't stand for, I know what she likes, I know her like things that have nothing to do with clothes, by the way. Nothing to do with clothes. Every like there's a million people that sell t-shirts. A million. So why is someone gonna want to buy my t-shirt over somebody else? This is the reason. This work. Build the world for them. If you can't quite put your finger on this, one easy thing to do is just think about a day in the life of your girl. What is she doing? What does she wake up and do? Where does she go to work? Does she go to work? How long is she at work? Where is she working from? What's her lunchtime look like? What's her afternoon schedule like? What does she do after work? Or maybe she doesn't work, maybe she's chilling at the house all day. Like all these things matter because you have to be able to create a world for that woman for her to feel obsessed with you. All these things matter. You can also think about like what type of event would my girl do. Like that I'm planning my next photo shoot right now, and I already know what what it's gonna be because I already know the like I already know what the girls got the girls do. I already know what my LED girls do, I already know what the next photo shoot's gonna be. It's like so no big deal. Which reminds me, I have to contact some people about this. Thank you for the reminder. But this will be your reality too when you get your foundation down. Otherwise, you're gonna always feel like you're spinning your wheels and you're not exactly sure what to do or how to make it work. And once you fix this one thing, like hold on to your pants. Because you're gonna skyrocket into the sky, and if you you're not gonna your pants are not gonna be able to hang on with you unless you're holding on to them. You're gonna rocket out of your pants into the sky, okay? I am so freaking serious. And how do I know this? Because I live it. I live it every single day, not only in my own business, but with all the women that I help. And it is the most magical thing. So get these questions answered. It do not just think about like how old they are and where they live. That is so basic Betty. To make it in today, in today's world, you've got to go way, way, way deeper than that. And it's fun. It's so much fun when you go, oh my gosh, who's my business for? Who are the ladies I want to talk to and hang out with virtually every single day? Who do I want to show up on lives? What are they like? What are their personalities like? Are they quiet? Are they reserved? Are they loud? Are they sassy? Are they out there? Are they funny? Are they serious? Are they, you know, investment bankers? Are they wild party girls? Are they in college? Are they retirees? Do they live on the coast? Do they live on a ranch? Like all these things you gotta think about it. Nail it down, and then watch your business change forever, baby. So that was my biggest takeaway that I had from yesterday's shoot. I hope this helps.
