Hello, it's Bronwen Logan here from Reiki with Bronwen, and I'm going to pull a Reiki Techniques card deck card today with you guys helping me. So, Before we begin, we're just going to balance ourselves out. Let's just find that space of calmness and balance before we choose a card that's going to support us with the practice of the system of Reiki, but also just in Living our everyday lives. So feeling down into the Hara, that earth, heaviness, body, physical strength space. Let's just sit in that energy for a moment, breathe down into it. Lovely. And now breathing up to the polar opposite. The mind, the heavens, that expansive space. Let's just sit in that expansive space for a moment as we breathe into the body. And that all comes together at the heart as these elements blend within us and it creates this beautiful whole being that we are, lovely and balanced. To begin with, let's pick a card. Shuffle, fan them out and choose one. The card that I've got is Flexibility. That's an interesting looking card because What this is about is it's actually doing something that we don't often do within the system of Reiki, and that is actually manipulating the body. It is a Japanese practice, and it's called Uchite Chiryo Ho. It's about another way of using the hands, and we're gonna have a look at how you might do that. This is something that you might want to experiment with and you can do it on yourself. You can also do it on others. It might be considered manipulative if you were using it in a professional practice. For the system of Reiki, that may not be appropriate. So If you are working on yourself, there are different ways of, of using your hands. Normally, we use these tools and we place them on the body. In this practice, Uchite Chiryo Ho, we can use the hands in different ways. We can use the palms like this for tapping. We can use the sides of the hands. We could use the backs of the hands and we can use the fingers. For those of you who have practiced, EFT then you will know that, tapping is a really powerful practice. Actually, there are a lot of different practices that use tapping. And what we're doing is we are just supporting that shifting of energy in the body. This is just a slightly more, um, active way of doing that than, than placing our hands solely on the body. So we're gonna try it on ourselves and I'm gonna take you through the practice. Let's just bring our hands up into gassho to set our intention. And our intention is to be open to receive whatever it is that we might need at this exact moment in time. With the practice of Uchite Chiryo Ho we are open to whatever the, the practice brings. We're going to start from just below the collarbone and because we're doing it on ourselves, we'll just do one section at a time. So with your right hand, just place it below your collarbone and just, uh, bring your arm out to the side. So we're going to just pat, patting along the inside of the arm and finishing at the palm. Other side again with the same intention that we always have with the system of Reiki to allow whatever needs to happen to happen and just being open to the energy moving and shifting. So we've done the arms, now we're going to move down the chest. So we'll move down the whole front of the torso just patting as we go. Yeah. Beautiful. And now with your hands, place them on either sides of your hips, and we're going to pat from the hips, moving onto the inside of the knees, and down the legs. Beautiful. So it's a lovely way to stimulate, to feel more open and fresh. So as you know, it's called flexibility. Yeah. And the diamond wisdom for this card is I wholeheartedly accept the changes that come my way. It's really being open to allowing shifts to happen. Thank you for being here with me and, feeling lovely and fresh and vibrant again and I'll see you at the next card.
