I think that reiki does see into the future that it's based in consciousness and because consciousness is ultimately guiding the evolution of life. And, but yet it's so important to acknowledge and recognize that we are actors in the play of the future, right? We are creating the future right now. So every decision and choice we make ripples out into the future. this whole thing that we are affecting our lives with what we are doing in this moment. So really bringing ourselves, feeling presence in this moment and what that means and how we live. And it's just so incredibly important. I do think we can shape the future. I don't know if I really need to see the future. Do I really wanna see the future? Not particularly. I think that I need to live in whatever is happening now, and be that, and be that to the best that I can, which brings in the fourth precept. Because there are things that are amazing and profound and like so futuristic at a certain time that we get to be the beneficiaries of that our ancestors set into motion 200 plus years ago that we get to benefit from. And so it's, I believe it's one of the most important things that we can be doing as we are tending to our needs to also be thinking about what the future is gonna look like and what the choices we are making now, how those ripples will impact the future. and the system of Reiki has been profoundly supportive in my ability to do that. Welcome to the Reiki Women podcast. Today is an episode of Twilight Zone. It's not really, but today we are talking about seeing the future and, can we do that with the system of Reiki? Oh, I've come back to my normal self now. I'm not sure. Can we see the future? Do we wanna see the future? Do I wanna see the future? I'm not sure I do actually. But at any rate, I would love to have a chat about, whether it's possible, do people do this, and, what if we could, so, Michaela, what do you think? Goodness. Are we gonna get a copyright strike for using this? Not with my, not with my tune. And by the way, by the way, the whole, in inspiration, some of the inspiration for this is that we just went over our 200th episode. We forgot to mention it. You did. And that's why is because we're trying to intuit what's the future for the re podcast? I know, right? You know what? We weren't seeing enough into the future to actually recognize the fact that we'd past the 201. So now we're already in our future. So the answer is yes. And that's right. We skipped over it. Yeah, we did. And one more thing, you have to subscribe to this podcast right now because. Otherwise, no one's ever gonna see us being silly and doing the Twilight Zone tunes. So please do subscribe and click the notifications and then we will be, sent to your little, YouTubey inbox very regularly. Yep, that's true. Yeah. Reiki may or may not be able to cause you to be able to see into the future psychically that remains to be seen. Maybe we'll find out today, but by subscribing to the channel, you will see the future episodes of this podcast because you will be notified. So right. Do that with us. yes. So first of all, yay. Over 200 episodes. Cannot believe it. Year four. Wild, wild, wild. This conversation is a bit of a follow on from the episode that we did a while back about can Reiki make you psychic? and that conversation really looked at, one of these kind of common conflating of things that happens within conversations about reiki, which is practicing reiki and psychic ability. And, you know, kind of where we landed on in that conversation is that these are independent experiences and whether or not one believes in psychic ability or whether or not one believes in reiki, but doing anything, they aren't the same and they aren't something that naturally or inevitably follow on each other or connect with each other. They can overlap. They don't necessarily, and this question of can reiki help you see the future feels very related to that, for me and. I think it depends on how you look at it. when this question was proposed, you know, I have to be perfectly honest, but my knee-jerk response was, well, no, no, it doesn't. That's not what reiki is. It's not what it's about. But when I sat with the question a little bit more and there was actually more connectivity in there for me than I'd originally thought, and it's not so much about, for me, personal perspective, psychically having a window into what's going to happen in the future. For me, it's more about what is my relationship to what I imagine in the future. The future, of course, is a non-existent thing. It, it, it, I mean, depends on what you believe about multiverse and whatever, whatever. We're not nearly enough of a, like all the strange benefits, physical things in the world that we could contemplate podcasts to go down that road. So let's just say that common understanding, the future does not yet exist. It is a non thing. It is a, it is something that is both imaginary doesn't exist, and yet we can see clear channels to make predictions about what could happen in the future based on what is happening now and based on patterns that have happened across time. And of course, there's many, many, realms of life where future predicting is very common. from politics to sports, to science, to, you know, human development of all kind, medicine, technology, we are constantly thinking about. What will come in the future and making predictions about that based on what is current now and the patterns into the past. And each of us individually will have some relationship with what we imagine the future to be. And that relationship will be typically, I think, commonly fairly narrow based on our desires, our fears, whatever limitations we have about what we know about the world and what's coming up. and often layered with a lot of anxiety, especially when times are incredibly challenging. We are living in a very challenging time right now. I am hearing many things, and perhaps you all are as well, from many people, from many corners expressing a lot of anxiety about the future and really running a lot of worst case scenarios. From, the nation could collapse politically, our food supply could collapse. nuclear work could happen. all manner of worst case scenarios that are frankly well within the possibility of happening in the future in the not so distant future. What I don't see mainstream, but I am seeing more in little pockets and pockets of community that I am more and more and more cultivating. I promise I'm gonna bring this back to reiki, I promise. is You're making me Michaela. I know, right? No, we're bringing it back. We're bringing it back. What I'm seeing, what I'm not seeing is people thinking about best case scenarios for the future. Mm. And imagining a future that is much, much, much better. Than what we're experiencing now where some of the most challenging and fear-inducing problems that we're experiencing wherever we are in the world, whatever our geopolitical perspective is on this time, most places there's reason to be concerned. I'm not seeing a lot of imagining a future that is much, much better across all of those points. And when we think about it, there's no reason not to do that. And in fact, there's every reason to intentionally cultivate a vision of the future, a, an imagination of the future that is much, much better than now. And this is where Reiki, I think, has an absolute connection to our relationship to the future. And I say that because it has changed my relationship with the future. For the last few years, I have been very focused on what a mentor of mine calls cultivating the far horizon. that's the far horizon being a metaphor for the time. Seven generations ahead, 200 years ahead, basically farther into the future than we can reasonably see at this time, right? Just out of you, the far horizon. And there will be that time, that time will come. And what that time looks like has everything to do with how we behave now, the choices we make now, the actions we take now and when we are. And this is something we have talked a lot about on this podcast when we are mired in fear, isolation, anger. the types of reflexive, like narrowing of the scope of our lives that happens when we're living in fear or uncertainty or a lack of resources. it becomes very, very difficult to imagine a better future. And therefore the choices that we make now reinforce what we have now, rather than shifting things towards something that's different. And there's a lot of reasons for that. firstly, we need to tend to what is present right now, right? If we're experiencing lack of resources, we're experiencing fear or experiencing shifting, you know, the world shifting in ways that are difficult, we have to tend to that, right? We have to pay attention to that. it can feel very, you know, it, it can feel almost pointless to think about, you know, our descendants in 200 years. What can I do for them? I need to do for me right now? It's a particular type of mindset that's required in order to keep in mind our descendants, seven generations in the future. And the system of Reiki helps us to do that, doing three diamonds work, working with creating that sense of spaciousness, working with the first diamond that helps us feel fundamentally grounded, secure, safe, steady, rooted, nourished, even when things are chaotic, so that then we can come into our second diamond and cultivate a wider, more, a perspective that's more rooted in possibility and vision. And then of course, link that to our sense of connection, our sense of courage and compassion, not only for ourselves, not only for this time, but for those descendants 200 years from now, who will have to live the life that we are setting for them now just as we are living the lives. That our ancestors set for us for good and for bad, right? Because there are things that are amazing and profound and like so futuristic at a certain time that we get to be the beneficiaries of that our ancestors set into motion 200 plus years ago that we get to benefit from. And so it's, I believe it's one of the most important things that we can be doing as we are tending to our needs to also be thinking about what the future is gonna look like and what the choices we are making now, how those ripples will impact the future. and the system of Reiki has been profoundly supportive in my ability to do that. The other reason that it can be challenging to do this and that. People might back off from it, is that there are very real consequences for to, for, for doing that. This is visionary thinking. This is the kind of thinking and actions and leadership that set people apart from other people in ways that is both aspirational and inspirational, but also frightening and threatening to the status quo and the powers that be. We think about visionary leaders from our past, from the present. those folks have hard lives and they don't always make it into their old age. even visionary folks who didn't become leaders because they were so othered, they were so strange, they were so different. They were speaking into a future that felt so foreign that others just couldn't follow along. So it is a difficult path if you're really gonna live in that way. And I have people in my community that I consider a far horizon, not only thinkers, but actors and, it's a rough road, but I see the impact that they're having over time in changing systems and structures that are changing the present in positive ways, and that will change the trajectory into the future. So, this topic has given me an excuse to go on a, a sociopolitical rant, and I thank you for that. because this is a part of my myself, I don't always get to share on this podcast. But I do absolutely think that the way that Reiki operates in our system, in our nervous system, in our bodies, in our minds, how it influences how we think and how we feel, and the connection between all of those things, is a incredible asset for cultivating a positive and healthy relationship with the future. and I'm gonna stop right there. Rant paused for the moment. I'm gonna hand that over to you. Carrie. What comes up for you when you think about Reiki and the future? Well, short answer is, I mean, I think we're okay with agreeing to disagree with each other on this podcast, but I, I do think that Reiki sees into the future, I think it's very future looking energy and as much as it grounds us in the present moment, it's a grounding, yet also being aware of the possibilities, you know, and that's, I think what real grounding should be doing is grounding us, not just to be like, let's put blinders around everything else beyond today. I mean, I do hear that a lot within meditation communities and maybe some kind of, some aspects of Buddhism as well. But I don't think that that's also a very healthy way to live. Like I'm just gonna live for, just for today, you know, every single day without also planting seeds for the future. Being realistic a lot, you know, our human lifespan. Maybe 80, 90 years. So, we can only hope that we're gonna live that long. So, you know, I find that, I think that reiki does see into the future that it's, it's based in consciousness and because consciousness is ultimately, guiding the, you know, the evolution of life. And, but yet it's so important to acknowledge and recognize that we are actors in the play of the future, right? We are creating the future right now. So every decision and choice we make ripples out into the future in, yogic philosophy. That's kind of the baseline understanding of karma. Karma is the law of cause and effect. And we don't really know, like the ripple of a cause and effect that any of our actions make for us. and yet, we can and should be what you were saying, Michaela, which I think is so beautiful, is like remembering that we have power to choose what the future looks like. Now if you're in a cycle of deep healing and,, you're like, me, I've just been going through a divorce for the last couple years, you know, it hasn't been like, that process hasn't been like, sweet, I'm out of this relationship. Let's just, you know, move on. You know, it doesn't, it's not like I don't feel stuck in the past necessarily, but it does feel like there's a lot to be tending here in the here and now. And I haven't really felt like a whole lot of energy or awareness for where my future head, but I know now that my possibilities are quite open, you know, gonna be very open, to how, and I can shape my future in a different way that I could when I was in that relationship. and so that's kind of, it is very exciting and, and it gives me a greater sense that I can like be in the driver's seat of my life. so I'm grateful for that. So, and I don't know if it's Reiki, I do have, I do work with a manifesting grid where I, put intentions and use crystals and use reiki in that context. It's something I take with me from Western Reiki and I just love it. It's been very powerful tool for me. It's been a powerful way for me to set in tensions and just have like kind of an external place to put those intentions that feel a little bit outside of my own thoughts and energy field. Sometimes I'll touch the crystals on my grid and there's like this, like, well, one time I touched a crystal on my grid and I saw like a nuclear bomb going off. And I don't know, maybe that was the power in the crystal. Who knows? But I think that if Reiki is. practice for peace, both peace inside of ourselves, that, that, that there's a ripple out into peace in the world. And so that I'd hope that there's some spiritual support for us to continue to build a peaceful life on earth, to make the world and the earth a better place. and I think we need that support as humans because we can get so stuck in our own, you know, traumas or challenges or the things that we're healing, as some, most of, you know, listen to the podcast for a while. I, my dog died recently and the week he died, I was just going to sleep and I just had this like clear as day understanding that I was gonna lose a family member that week. It was just an anxious fear that really arose. And sometimes that happens, and sometimes those things come true and sometimes they don't. But in my case, it was like, oh my gosh, my dog passed away. And so I was given some foresight into the future. And I think that's something of the magic of consciousness, that it can see a couple steps ahead of the journey. in the Demon sermon on Martial Arts, it's a famous book about, lots of different things, but I mean, I can't know. I don't know who wrote that book and if it was from a Japanese worldview or Chinese worldview, I'm not exactly sure. But from a martial artist point of view, and one of the main, one of the big lines in the demon sermon on martial arts is that, you can never fully illuminate the way. The way will always be shrouded in mystery, but you can see little snapshots of the way. And, when I did my first reiki attunement, the first time I ever received a Reiki reiju and a reiki level one, my first reiki level one course, I had this vision of me on the beach with a significant other. And it was like clear as day, open me up. And I realized that that was somewhat of what I wanted to manifest in this life. And it's some of the reason why I live where I live. It was a little snapshot of my way of maybe spirit, something guiding me to the future that would be most fulfilling to me. doesn't always happen and I'm not sure if that's reiki or if it's just consciousness or if it's just some of the mystery of being alive and. How we're shaping the future as we speak in this moment, I shall pass that over to you. Ms. Bronwen, what do you think about this topic? Can Reiki see the future? Now, I wanted to do the Dr. WHO tune, but I can't remember how it goes. So Michaela, I'm sure you must be a Dr. Who fan. What is the Dr. Who tune? This is gonna shock you. I have never seen a single episode of Dr. Who of any era ever you would think. You would think as big of a nerd as I am, that I would be a Doctor who fan. I am not. Okay. So I cannot help you. I'm sorry. Oh, well, look, you know, I, I, I have watched a lot of Doctor Who over the years, and if I heard the tune I would remember it. But, you know, doctor Who works through time and space and Okay. Anyway, and definitely is always heading off into the future, but also heading off into the past and occasionally being here, wherever we are right now. so yeah, thinking about the future and how the system of Reiki might work with that, yeah, I can see it probably in its most simplest form and, you know, looking at the precepts. And we take that, you know, for today only, which, you know, sort of has already come up. I think, you know, that, that thing of, for today only, I don't see that for today only as a limiting blinkered space, though I see it very much as holding my whole world in that and whatever that whole world is, that is what exists in, in, in, in this moment because this is all that exists for me right now. and yet what does that mean? That's all that exists? I am made up of all these experiences and all these experiences are forming a future. So there is in many sense, I can see that the future does. I dunno how to say that, but I can see that the future is there because of everything that's happened in my life, there will be certain ways that I probably respond and react and yeah, though I can cognitively, you know, do some therapy on myself and change the way that I, I work with that and there is the option to do things differently. So yes, it's laid out, but it's also not laid out and I have choices. everything that I'm doing though in this moment is going to, to affect in some way what is going to happen in my life. And I think for that reason, I mean, if you'd watched Dr. Who you know, oh, actually. Sure that that is the case with Dr. Who yes, Dr. Who is not allowed to, change things in the past because it'll change things in the future. Right. You know, it's got that sort of logic to it, and yet he always seems to be changing things. So I'm not sure that the, the writers get away with that. But, you know, this whole thing that we, we are affecting our lives with what we are doing in this moment. So really bringing ourselves, feeling presence in this moment and what that means and, and how we live. And it's just so incredibly important. So, I do think we can shape the future. I don't know if I really need to see the future. Do I really wanna see the future? Not particularly. I think that I need to live in, in whatever is happening now, and be that, and be that to the best that I can, which brings in the fourth precept. Which I've been writing an a, a, a piece on at the moment, which is why I'm coming to that. To do your work diligently and what does that mean? So, you know, what effort do I put into this experience? And, the precepts are saying to put, to throw ourselves into each moment completely and utterly be here and in that. So no limitations and, and to really live this experience for what it is right now here. And that in itself is a letting go. The system of reiki is for as far as I'm concerned, all about letting go, releasing and allowing ourselves to fully experience this moment. And in that sense, does the future really matter? Not really, because this is everything. This is, this is the future. This is my past. I am my past, and I'm everything that I, I'm here right now with, so there's a word, a Japanese word, which is ma and it's the space in between. Sometimes living these reiki precepts, you know, we talk about it a lot, but sometimes living these precepts means to step or not even to step into. mm. It means being this pause, pausing, taking space and living in that space. And ma also means void. And that is the everything. That is everything. and you know, I think sometimes we just need to take, how do they say? Take a beat. Take a beat, and just be here as, as we are now, and allow all that beauty and wonder and awe and experience everything that has brought me to this moment to be here with me now and to be. Free to move into the future and just to live that experience. And I do think that that is pretty much the purpose of the system of breaking. So do we see the future? Depends what you mean by seeing. I think we experience the future in this moment and it gives us whatever is, is, is, is what we are moving into. Yeah. And yeah. I love that. Sorry, Dr. Who? Music. Music. That's not talk him music. Well, you went Twilight Zone and Dr. Who, I'm gonna go old school, star Trek. Okay, so we have to start off, okay. And then it goes on and on at Crescendos. Reason I'm going there is, first of all, 'cause I'm enjoying this nerd moment we're having, but, you know, star Trek and other science fiction art of that type is kind of an example of what I was getting at, of the ways in which we imagine the future because art is one of the ways in which we explore and process and integrate what we imagine and what we're afraid of. If we look at science fiction, we see a lot of stories that represent fears about the future, post-apocalyptic stories and you know, medical stuff gone, crazy stories and all these things. Star Trek was unique in that Star Trek began with the premise of an incredibly hopeful and beautiful imagining of the future. In that story, earth had achieved world peace. Mm-hmm. Centuries before, like had to solve the problem of war on the planet Earth. That was not a thing anymore. People lived in prosperity. The environment had been taken care of and was all in balance, like Earth was imagined as a place that had really solved the most intractable problems that we experience now in the present. And then all of the drama happened elsewhere. Right. and so, you know, the, the idea of nourishing our imagination using a practice like Reiki, that again allows us to feel grounded and spacious and connected. helps us to create images that are then shareable and repeatable and, and distributable amongst the masses. Like a piece of science, fiction art, a movie, a painting, a book, you know, any kind of art that shares that. And I do think as a connoisseur of such things, that it is rare, it is unique to Star Trek and a handful of other stories where the imagining the vision, casting the story, casting of the future is a pointedly positive one. Yeah. Not that there aren't problems on earth, but, but that our big problems have been solved. The other thing that jumped to mind with Star Trek was that we have this again, promise, I'm gonna bring it back to Reiki. We have this tension between logic and intuition in the characters of Spock and Captain Kirk. Spock, being a Vulcan guided by logic. catching Kirk being a very intuition driven human. and when you were talking, Carrie, you know, one of the things that really stood out to me is that where I can kind of get on board with, with reiki opening up some perception of the future beyond what we're consciously imagining is through the lens of intuition. And we've had episodes on intuition before. It's a really important topic. there's a lot of different ways to interpret what intuition even is. even within science, there's a lot of, it's, it's, it's not super solid what it's like. We agree that it's a thing, but what specifically it is and what the mechanism is that makes it operate is mysterious, which I think is wonderful. I love when there's still some mystery just operating in our daily lives. But, you know, it's pretty well accepted that intuition exists. Not universally. I know somebody who will flat out tell you intuition is does not exist. It's not a thing, but he's wrong. and the system of reiki absolutely does develop our intuition. And while I don't necessarily associate intuition with seeing the future, there is a way and a lot of what you described Carrie, was sensing maybe not necessarily a vision Now, personal experience. Right. Again, I do believe that there are, that there is psychic ability that exists in the world. I don't think it's, I think that it is a, it's a spectrum of intuition. So I do believe that there are, that there is some capacity that humans have to have more specific details come through about what may might happen or will happen in the future, to a certain degree. I don't personally experience that. So speaking from my own experience, intuition at a, maybe a more average person's level, which I would say that is, is where I'm at, gives us a sense of direction in navigating towards a future that is in alignment with who we are and what we need. That's, that's how I would describe that relationship between our intuition and the future, is that we don't know what's gonna happen. Many, many, many, many things could happen. Almost infinite things could happen in the future. It all depends on the choices that are made by all the people that exist right now, and natural disasters and, and natural miracles and things that are outside of our influence at all. so we may not be able to see. What is gonna happen in the future, but our intuition absolutely does give us sometimes a very clear sense of what is the next step we should take? What is the direction we should orient towards? What are the choices that we should make now that are gonna best align us with what may happen in the future? I do absolutely believe that to be true and experience that and that, experience can happen to a quite high degree, to quite a level of refinement and detail, for many people where that sense of what to do and where to go is very, very clear. And the system of reiki does absolutely help to clarify that. And I think through a lot of of ways, I think there's a lot of mechanisms within the practice of reiki that does that. You know, many of the things that you all have already spoken to and the. Kind of process of clearing away debris, clearing away distraction, clearing away, you know, focusing our attention inward and in our relationship to the world versus all of the many different messages that come from all over the place all of the time. All of the ways we're influenced by things outside of ourselves. It helps to clear our distraction of those things, focus our attention, simplify what it is that we're feeling, and, by way of getting rid of the distractions, so that when we have an intuitive message come through, we can recognize it and we can trust it and we can find the courage. You know, again, third diamond energy, of courage and compassion and creativity. and action, right? Action is of the heart, to take that step in the direction that our intuition is guiding us. So I think. On a spiritual metaphysical level, political ran aside. that is where I would see the direct connection between practicing reiki and having a more, informed relationship with the future. What else comes up for you, Carrie, and what, classic, theme music do you have for us? Oh, I wanna do Star Wars, but I can't think of it. I'm not a very musically oriented person. Oh, that one should be easier. No, I keep wanting to do, get smart. I don't know. It says something about my age, but, Hey, I found Dr. Who. Hold on. Okay. Will this actually work? Oh, actually I need to turn it up. Oh, can you hear that? I can hear it. All right. All right. I'll have to, I'll fix it in, push you should you, you do your version of it. Sure. I'll have to do my version of it. I'm so sorry. Honestly, it just, it starts like, get smart, which is really weird. No, it doesn't. I'm sure it doesn't. Let me have a listen and then it goes, I dunno. I do actually know the story of that, that there was, well, I dunno the whole story, but it was a special instrument that no one had ever used and some woman who was a composer in the sixties used this very unique instrument to make Doctor Who Music. Anyway. Well, thank you. We needed to close that loop. It was gonna, it was gonna bother somebody, so thank you. Okay, well now I have to think of the Star, star Wars. Oh, done. That's Darth Vader's theme. That's Darth Vaders thing. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. Well, I love Star Wars. That's my favorite out of all of that. I never really got into Star Trek, although I did watch some of the new generation ones, and I have to admit that actually every episode is like crazy intense in terms of like the depth that it offers and the themes and, yeah, very, forward thinking. I mean, I, I love the kind of linking in with some of these, Aspects of entertainment that really have shaped our world. And I, my son wanted to watch the Godzilla movie last night. And so we've been watching some of the Godzilla movie. But, you know, it's so interesting how it's like everything does look like Star Wars, where like in the future everybody's in these like pods and like you go through these hallways that all look like you're living in a spaceship, and then the doors like open and they make that magical noise. They open and like, you know, and you know, who knows? Like if, and honestly, if we're not consciously aware of it, we'll probably just create that as a human species, right? Because these are the things that like kind of ingrained in our subconscious and our awareness that. You know, without a meditative practice, without conscious awareness, we can just simply manifest like what we envision or think the future could be. So there's, there's very like tech heavy visions of the future, but then other, you know, parts of entertainment that maybe I show a totally different side of what we could manifest. Like could we manifest, a totally eco-conscious community where people are living off the land and living in harmony and reciprocity with the land, like, you know, growing their own food, having their own water and energy sources. living independent of sovereign from nations. Something to think about. Certainly there are people visionaries out there who are wanting to manifest that. And I also think from, indigenous culture's point of view, their, their worldview of what the future could look like is very different too. And they're, they're trying to manifest a different way and bringing forward some of what's been lost through the cultural genocide and colonialism of, you know, our modern life. How are they weaving those visions for the future, into the now. so I think it's all really important things to be thinking of, you know, linking it back to the system of reiki, you know. in the Japanese into worldview, there's Kami. Kami are these supernatural beings. They're in nature. They live and dwell above the clouds that they are maybe spirit guides. Maybe they're Buddhas, maybe they're our ancestors or maybe who knows what they are. Maybe they're the pantheon of the Japanese Buddha, but they're guiding and directing us to this one way street towards enlightenment, towards, yeah, bringing more peace on earth. And, there are visionaries. And the, I know for example, the, one of the yoga gurus that I've, learned a lot from his name's Ri Arab. I stayed at his astro when I was in India. He was a very utopian, I mean, he, and he totally believed that humans are evolving towards this peaceful utopic society on earth. and then there's also kind of the Buddhist, and atheistic dualism, like, who knows? Nobody knows. So it's like this whole spectrum. But I think it's really interesting to think about the power of the mind, the power of consciousness, and how we can shape the future. That being said, as somebody who has a little bit of those like snapshots, seeing into the future, it can be addicting. It's addicting because you think you wanna figure it all out before you even start, but that you lose the point if you do that. And so, a lot of us, you know, we want things to end well, like a relationship or a product launch or, you know, starting our journey as reiki practitioners. We want to think, oh, well I can make a whole lifetime career out of that. But honestly, we're, we're creating that in the moment. And however more we can bring ourselves into the moment and keep trying to work towards that vision of the future that we want, that is, we learn so much in the process of that. and so it's. There's some sort of balance that needs to happen when you are both trying to create your own future and being mindful of the impact of that, of future generations, and staying in the moment, you know, staying in what, you know, Bron was talking about being in a moment where today and in this moment it holds all of that possibility and that possibility of what the future holds is being manifested and created in the moment. But I do feel that those energy, enlightenment, awareness, consciousness, that's a few steps ahead of us to kind of see, into the future and that some of what informs our intuit intuition. but you know, it's all part of the mystery. but seeing into the future for the Reiki Women podcast, I don't know, I think we'll get to 300 episodes. What do you guys think? I think the future is of the Reiki women episode, is that whoever's watching this right now presses the subscribe button. Yeah. That's gonna happen, right? It is, yes. Right? Yeah, I, so one more thing I just wanna say about that. I think it was another episode, one of our earlier episodes. It was like, what's the hope of reiki? You know, the system of reiki, the practice of reiki. And I think, like, I had this like, real, like, wise moment came to me and it was like, we are the hope. You know, we as practitioners are like the living embodiment of the hope of Reiki practice. You know, what is possible? Well, it's possible when we continue to walk this path, we continue to open doors where there's once walls where we, tried to bring Reiki into new communities, give access to reiki, to people would otherwise not have access to it. and so that the, that we're actively shaping the hope and the, the, the lineage. Right now we're present day holders of the lineage. Mm. Beautifully said, thank you. Mm-hmm. And it actually comes to what you were just talking about before about the cumi because, you know, we, they say that we all have cumi inside of us, and that when we are practicing that we are, we are encouraging that cumi nature inside ourselves to come out to be that, you know, to be that best person that we can possibly be in any moment. And I think there was, like the Japanese say, there's like 800,000 or 8,000,008 something coming in the world, but they're really meaning that it's an unlimited, amount. And it's, it's something that, you know, remembering our, our ability to be maybe sometimes better than we sometimes think that we can be or are. And that's in this moment. So really sit into that space. And there was one other thing that I was thinking about is, you know, this idea of a river and about, you know, time and, and, and energy and that, you know, we are all energy. We are energy, we live in energy, so it's all key. And if we were to look at a river, you know, what's downstream in a river is not the future, it's just another part of the river. So we are all just in that flow of energy. And it might mean that we are not so much about predicting, but you know, we definitely can sense that whole river. We can be in that river. And, and it's bringing our awareness and consciousness into, into this moment, into being in this river of energy and, and how that feels and where that, where that can take us, where we allow it to take us. So, yeah, thanks for being in the river with us today and going in all those different directions that, we ebbed and flowed. And I, I look forward to seeing that you subscribed. I'm on a subscribed mode at the moment and, that, and that, yeah. I look forward to seeing you along with you guys. Carrie Michaela at the next Reiki Women podcast. Indeed. Yeah. See you later. Thanks everyone. Bye.
