Gwyneth Paltrow's courtroom testimony about "losing half a day of skiing" after a 2016 ski accident reveals an astonishing disconnect between celebrity privilege and reality.
• Gwyneth Paltrow testified in court after being sued by Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist injured in a 2016 ski collision
• When asked what losses she suffered from the accident, Paltrow answered "I lost half a day of skiing"
• The hosts compare this to everyday scenarios like car accidents where someone might complain about missing recreational activities
• Discussion about how Paltrow's lawyers failed to prepare her for such a basic courtroom question

Let's start off and kick off with our first topic so my Gwyneth Paltrow news.
Speaker 2:okay, so Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued by a retired optometrist his name is Terry Sanderson for a ski accident that happened in 2016. Okay, so on trial. Gwyneth took the stand to testify and she was asked by the lawyer what losses she had suffered from the accident. Can you imagine what her response was from the accident? Can you imagine what her response was? No, not at all. Okay, well, I'll tell you what she said. She said I lost half a day of skiing. Half a day of skiing, yes, half a day of skiing.
Speaker 1:Yes, half a day of skiing.
Speaker 2:The optometrist got injured and had to go to the hospital and he lost, obviously lost some, suffered from injuries and stuff. He suffered half a day of skiing. Think about the insensitivity of that fucking answer Like how, and you were to court for that. How out of touch can you be to answer like that, like I, just like, seriously, I got into a car accident, yeah well, the optometrist took her to court because he was injured and I guess he lost whatever. So the lawyers asked her the question like what did you suffer? What losses did you suffer? She said I suffered a half a day of skiing.
Speaker 2:Wow, imagine, imagine this, right, imagine you get into a car accident. Right, right, you get into a car accident. You have to stay there and wait for the police officers to come and take both your statements and stuff like that, and then you gotta switch, you gotta exchange information with the person you got into an accident and all that stuff, and then you gotta call your insurance company let them know what happened. This can take like two, three hours, right. And then you know you go to court and they ask you hey, you got into this accident from this time, this time. Blah, blah, blah. What damages or losses did you suffer from? And your answer is oh, I lost four hours of golf. Yeah, no, what did the other person suffer? What? How did they get hurt? How did the other person get her? They ran into each other Like there was an accident, like the ski accident. I guess she was skiing and they bumped. They ran like they just bumped into each other, I don't know. Oh, okay, okay, it was a ski accident. Yeah, that's what I said A ski accident, yeah, a ski.
Speaker 2:So and here's the crazy thing like she, she, she took the stand right and this is her answer right. Why didn't her lawyers prep her? They know what type of fucking question is going to be asked. Why didn't they prep her for this? Like what the fuck? That's true? Like things he was not buffing on right. How you not come for coaching? Are you getting her thing be ready? Yeah, I don't know how they didn't coach her. How didn't get her ready for that question? Like they should have had that question. They should have known that this was gonna be asked. It's asked every fucking accident case. Like how do you not know? I don't know if she lost the case or won it, but it's just not a good look, especially with all the other shit that I brought up about her.
Speaker 2:This bitch is gone, bro, like her head is goop. Wow, yeah, she's mad. She's gone to space lads. Yeah, yeah, she has All right. Well, that's about it for me, bro. All right, all right.
