Lessons Learned in Life and Business

Speaker 1

When you think you need to have it all figured out before you . Just , you know , you start , um , you procrastinate , uh , you become fearful because you don't know what's next , and then that fear paralyzes you , and so then you end up doing nothing at all . You don't have to have it all figured out , you just have to do it . You know what ? I can become a homeowner . I want to do that . Let me get the process started . You know what ? Hmm , it's time for me to enroll back in school . Whatever it is or it could be a a toxic relationship you're in and you just get a light bulb , one moment that says you know what ? I'm not accepting this anymore . This , this person , has got to go Like , they've been holding me back . I know it for a fact . I got to do something . Trust those instincts . What I've learned is that those delays are either trying to pivot you into something else or everything is about timing as well . Maybe . Maybe the way that you thought was the right way isn't the right way , and so a delay or a roadblock is God's way of rerouting and , and I guess , reassessing or realigning what needs to happen . Everyone this is Natasha LaQuinn , the queen being real estate , and , of course you're listening to the throne and guys .

Speaker 1

I was just reflecting yesterday like man . The month of November has been full of milestones for me , right , like the first weekend of November was my one year wedding anniversary and then two weeks ago I turned 40 and then this week I just made my 20th year in real estate . So I'm like man , I'm kind of , I'm kind of being a real adult here . I'm like you talk . When you start talking about like wedding anniversaries and 40 birthdays and 20 year career anniversaries , I'm like , okay , I'm actually a real adult now . Not to mention , I'm a grandma , my grandson , he's about to turn five months next week . So I was like man , I can really have some advice or stories , like you know how you say oh , grandma , tell me about the olden days . Now I feel like I'm the , I'm the grandma that's going to be telling my grandkids and kids about experiences and things that I've learned . So anyway , as I was reflecting on that and the fact that I'm an actual adult now , because sometimes , even though you're 40 , you don't really feel 40 . And then again , I got started really young in real estate . I got my license long , long time ago , 2003 . And so , when you don't necessarily feel old , so to speak , not that 40s old or anything , but you don't really feel your age . You don't really realize , amen , I've learned quite a bit , or I've been through some things over the years . So I was just kind of reflecting on that yesterday .

Speaker 1

And even the podcast team . I was like , okay , I'm feeling uninspired . Guys Like just being real , I'm feeling uninspired . What should I talk about ? They was like well , duh , 20 things that you've learned over the course of your career , just in life , life in general . So I thought that was really a really great idea , because I think the best teachers are from experience , life in general , living , making mistakes , overcoming them . Um , and , if there's anything that I can help you guys with that , maybe you don't have to bump your head as many times as I bumped my head Like , yeah , I think that's a good idea . So today we're going to talk about the 20 things that and not that they're only 20 , I could probably come up with more than 20 , but the top 20 things , in my opinion , that have helped me to be successful in life and business . This , um , even those of you that may be pursuing entrepreneurship , are you just trying to navigate this thing called life and you're bumping your head along the way . You're wondering does this ever get better ? Does it all make sense ? Like yeah , it really really does . So I've taken notes of my top 20 things that have helped me over the course of the last 20 years in life and business to share with you all today . So number one this is really important Don't share your goals with everyone .

Speaker 1

Everyone doesn't understand your goals . If you have a dream or a vision or a desire to do something and accomplish something , god gave that to you . He didn't speak that to someone else and show them what that looks like . So when you try to get someone else to understand your goals or your passions or what it is you want to accomplish , they might not necessarily see it the way you see it . Then they start being a Debbie Downer , they talk you out of it and now you're feeling some kind of way no , you have to stay true to what your goals are . Not only that , you are equipped with everything you need to accomplish your goals , not someone else you have to think about . People die every day and they take their dreams and goals to the grave with them . Think about how many people wanted to do something or wish they would have stepped out and tried something , and they just never had the courage or the resources or the desire or whatever they needed to actually do it . So a lot of times people try to talk you out of doing stuff because they don't have the courage to do it themselves . So you got to stay true to yourself . Everything is not meant to be shared . Do what you got to do , but don't share your dreams and your goals with everyone .

Speaker 1

Number two things will be better tomorrow , I promise you . Sometimes you wake up . Things are not going well . You don't seem to have it all figured out Now . It may not be tomorrow morning , but maybe the morning after that , or next week , or the morning two weeks from now . But just know it gets better . Whatever you're going on , whatever you have going on , whatever you're experiencing that's not necessarily what you had in mind things will be better tomorrow . Just keep telling yourself that you never know , especially if you've been putting in the work , you've been trying , you've been going after it , you've been consistent , you've been positive , you've been praying about it , whatever it is that you've been doing , just keep telling yourself okay , tomorrow's the day , the next day , things will be better tomorrow . Remember that .

Speaker 1

Number three you don't need to have it all figured out . That was my problem . Listen , I needed to know what's happening next , how we're going to get there , what does it look like ? What if it doesn't work ? I already need to have plans C , d and E lined up . That was my problem . What happens is when you think you need to have it all figured out before you start , you procrastinate , you become fearful because you don't know what's next , and then that fear paralyzes you . Then you end up doing nothing at all . You don't have to have it all figured out , you just have to do it . Which leads me to number four , which is just do it .

Speaker 1

You know and I've gotten caught up a lot of times in the past by just thinking too much , writing the plan out . Over and over again you hear people talking about a business plan . You got to have this business plan on paper , just perfect . I cannot tell you how many times and how much time I wasted writing business plans and then rearranging the plan and then deleting it and writing it again , even though it is good to have the strategy outline and the template for what it is that you're doing and the blueprint for , overall what you want it to look like . Don't get caught up in becoming stagnant . Just do it . I know people that write business plans all the time and never execute anything . Pull the trigger , put one foot in front of the other and just start walking down the sidewalk and trust that as you're walking along , things will come into play . Number three and number four they go hand in hand . You don't have to have it all figured out , just do it and then trust that things will line up as you go .

Speaker 1

Number five give yourself grace . This is important , and I think I'm going to say this probably about all of the tips that I give today . I'm probably going to say that they're all important because for me , they've all been very instrumental in my career path these last 20 years . Give yourself grace . Things not going to be perfect . You may make a mistake or two . Uh , maybe you have been procrastinating . Maybe you have not been to enough networking mixers . Maybe you haven't pulled yourself out of your comfort zone . Uh , maybe you said you wanted to enroll in college six years ago and you still haven't done it .

Speaker 1

The worst thing you can do is beat yourself up about it over and over again . You're human . We all have human emotions . Life is happening . We're trying to balance life and goals and everything else , and so beating yourself up about it is not the answer . It's not going to help you get to the finish line faster . You're going to have to give yourself some grace and say you know what , it's okay , I'm going to forgive myself . For you know , maybe you promised yourself you needed to wake up earlier , um , to get more things accomplished in the day . Whatever the case may be , maybe you promised yourself you're going to take a business course to learn how to I don't know create a budget for your business and you haven't done it yet . Tell yourself it's okay , I got caught up , Caught up . Life happens , I'm human , but the good thing is I have the opportunity to hit reset and try again tomorrow .

Speaker 1

The more you beat yourself up about it , you get bogged down in emotions and emotions . Trust me , people don't get you anywhere other than the pressed with anxiety in the bed under the cover , not wanting to do anything . Because what happens is you start that one thing that you haven't done or haven't done correctly . You start stacking that one thing into the second thing that you didn't do and , um , man , I'm such a failure . I didn't do this either , or that or that . And so you fall into this rabbit hole of all of the four , five , six different things that you haven't done . Don't want to do that . Give yourself some grace . Number six learn as you go . Learn as you go .

Speaker 1

It's so important that it also takes us back to number three with you don't have to have it all figured out . They're going to be so many times where um , I'll give you an example a new mother maybe , right ? So this is your first time having a kid . There's no manual or policy book on what to do . You kind of end up going to the hospital , you have the baby , and then they send you home with this baby and it's like all right , baby , it's just me and you . Uh , what do we do now ? So you learn ? You learn that , all right , I fed you . So why are you still crying ? Maybe you're sleepy , okay , you're not sleepy . Maybe it's this , maybe it's that . So you kind of start feeling your way and then eventually you get better at it and better at it , and then you don't have to guess what's wrong with baby . When they wake up at two , you know exactly what's wrong the diapers wet , they want to eat , and they're going to . They're going to go right back to sleep after that , no problem . And then you'll get your whole routine down . So it's the same thing with life , it's the same thing with business you learn as you go

Lessons for Success and Self-Growth

Speaker 1

.

Speaker 1

Use every opportunity to figure out um , what am I supposed to grasp from this ? Um , and then , a lot of times , you'll notice , as we talked about earlier , putting one foot in front of the other , you'll run into someone . Um , for example , when I got into development , I didn't have a clue what I was doing , but what ended up happening . When I met my architect , who was the one that needed to draft my floor plans , he was the one that introduced me to the engineer . Hey , tasha , wait a minute Before I draft your plans , you know you need to get an engineer first , and I'm like , oh , I do . Then , when I met the engineer , hey , tasha , before you do this , you know you need to get a survey right . And I'm like , oh , I do . And so the people that I needed to that I met along the way . They helped guide me into what was next . And then , once I knew that information , I put it in my pocket , I saved it for next time . And now I know right . So learn as you go .

Speaker 1

Number seven trust your instincts . Everything is not going to be perfect . You're not going to have the answers all the time , but some stuff is just a given . There are some things that you just feel deep down inside that it's right . You can't explain it . You don't know where it came from . I am my personal life . I know for a fact that's God , just because of the relationship and my spirituality , whatever it is you believe in , you use that , but trust your instincts .

Speaker 1

Know that if you feel it deep down inside and something , you get a light bulb . I call it the light bulb moment . Something happens one day and you're like you know what . This is what I need to do , this is the move I need to make . You know what ? I can become a homeowner . I want to do that . Let me get the process started . You know what ? It's time for me to enroll back in school . Whatever it is , or it could be a toxic relationship you're in and you just get a light bulb one moment that says you know what ? I'm not accepting this anymore . This person has got to go . Like they've been holding me back . I know it for a fact . I got to do something . Trust those instincts . Learn to trust yourself . A lot of times , that small voice that you feel are you here within , that's God's voice . You have to learn how to recognize it . Trust your instincts .

Speaker 1

Number eight don't be afraid to take risk . Risk for me , um , a lot of times , what you're after the next opportunity , um , success , um , the next level of something that you're looking to accomplish is usually on the other side of taking the risk . I know it's easier said than done . A lot of times we want to stay more conservative , um , and when you don't take risk , there's a control factor there that says , okay , if I don't take this risk , then there's a perceived control that I have because I'm able to determine , I guess , what happens next , making sure that I'm not going to fail , that things will go right because I don't take this risk . You have to take the risk . Now , I'm not saying be a crash dummy with the risk . You know a calculated risk , or making sure that you assess things properly . You do your due diligence based on the risk that you're trying to take , but you got to learn how to jump off the cliff and grow your wings on the way down . I've mastered that . I do it all the time . But with that , that takes me to number nine expect to fail .

Speaker 1

Don't go through life with this . And being optimistic and being positive is one thing , but you have to expect to fail . That way , when you go after something or it didn't turn out exactly as you planned it in your mind , it doesn't completely throw you off your horse , cause you know sometimes , if you're not expecting to fail and you're living in this fantasy land , that everything is going to go perfect all the time , then when something doesn't go right , it'll throw you completely off . Now you get stuck in this . Woe is me state . Why isn't anything happening perfect or everything in my life isn't happening right ? You know you can't get caught up in that . You have to expect that at some point . The way that you laid it out , the way you saw it , it's not going to happen that way all the time . So the quicker that you can expect to fail , the quicker you can overcome that failure when it happens .

Speaker 1

Number 11 celebrate the small wins . This was big for me . I had to learn how to do it . I'm still learning to do it and being mindful of it , because we get so caught up in wanting these huge milestone wins , like the Grammy worthy wins . You know where you get to walk across the stage and get an award from somebody for something , and it's not it's not always that it may be the fact that you know , I struggled with anxiety and the last week I've been able to get out of bed every morning and accomplish my task with no anxiety . That is a win . Okay , even let's take it even smaller than that . Maybe it wasn't a whole week , Maybe it was a day . Yesterday I woke up without any anxiety , without my mind going and talking me out of stuff , and I overcame the day yesterday , one day , one day at a time . So , whatever a small win looks like to you maybe it's um , I finally got myself out of the hole . I'm not living paycheck to paycheck anymore . Um , I got myself out of the hole and this month is the first month that I've paid my rent on time . On the first and not having to pay by the grace period or by the uh , expiration date of the fifth . I was able to pay my rent on time this month . That's something to celebrate . So , whatever that looks like for you , celebrate the small wins along the way .

Speaker 1

Number 12 , pivot . Learn how to pivot , and when I say pivot , that means shift , change . Know how to make that quick turn . You know if something you're going down uh , you're going down the street and you know whether it's the career street , the life street , the relationship street , whatever street you're on and something needs to change . This isn't what I had in mind . Um , wait a minute , I'm getting an inclination here . It goes back to instincts Off . I think I need to do this instead of that pivot . Learn how to pivot quickly . Don't get wrapped up in your thoughts too much . Don't talk yourself out of it . Know how to pivot and you don't add .

Speaker 1

In those instances where you need to pivot , you don't owe anybody an explanation for it . You don't have to explain to someone why you turned left instead of right or why you were heading this way and you made a U turn instead . If that's what you feel in your heart and your mind that you need to do , you have to get comfortable with it , because that's our way , that's God's way of getting you back on track . Remember we talked last time in an episode about a GPS . Sometimes you know when you're headed to a certain destination and you make the wrong turn or maybe you wouldn't pay attention and you missed the exit . Your GPS will reroute itself and have you pivot to get back on the correct route . So that's what you have to do in life is realize when it's time to pivot and actually do it .

Speaker 1

Number 13 , know yourself and trust yourself Very important . So when I talk about know yourself , nobody knows you or nobody should know you the way that you know yourself , so you need to be honest about that . So for me example , I am a procrastinator Period . There's no way around it . I'm 40 years old at this point and I have accepted that about myself . Like Tasha , you know yourself . You know there's going to be a task that you knew about two months ago and you're going to wait two days before the deadline to struggle and get it done . I don't know if it's because I work better under pressure or I don't even know the reason why I am that way , but I know that about myself . So it goes back to giving myself grace instead of beating myself up about it . I'm like , okay , the only thing I can try to do is get better at it . I know that about myself .

Speaker 1

So don't agree to things or don't put yourselves in situations that you know , don't line up with who you really are . If you don't enjoy maybe it's . It can come down to taking a certain job title or a certain role . If that role doesn't work with you , maybe you you don't do well with people or customer service , and you know that about yourself . Don't take that kind of role , don't even apply for those kind of jobs .

Trusting Yourself, Overcoming Roadblocks, Seeking Advice

Speaker 1

And , even more importantly , like I said , know yourself and trust yourself . Trust yourself enough to know like it got to a point and I'm not telling you to do this , but remember the whole business plan situation . I wrote so many different business plans and never executed any of them , never paid attention to them . I was just out there , free , free , validated , doing my own thing . I knew that about myself . So at some point I say , tasha , you already know right in the business plan and actually following it on paper , that's not you , that's not your thing . And so I'm going to trust myself to know I'm not going to spend any more time , a week at a time , two weeks , carving out my schedule to sit out and write some extensive , pretty business plan . Just do it , just go and undo it . That's what works for you . So , whatever that means for you know yourself and trust yourself .

Speaker 1

Number 14 , pay attention to delays and roadblocks . This is important , mis bronze , niglics . What I've learned is that when you're going full speed ahead , whatever lane you're in , you're going going , going going . Then , all of a sudden , there's this delay . No matter what you try , nothing's budging . You turn left , that didn't work . You turn right , you went up down diagonal . Every which way you're trying , it's like wow , wow , it's like the karate moves . It's just blocking you every way . Or you've done everything that you're supposed to do . Maybe it's something that was waiting on you . You did everything that you're supposed to do and there's just this weird stagnant , stale air In those moments . And I still have to practice this as well . Don't get frustrated . You get really still .

Speaker 1

And it takes me into number 15 and ask yourself what is this trying to teach me ? Is there something else I need to consider ? Is there another piece that I left out ? Is there another way I can approach this this ? Delays and roadblocks force you to think a little deeper , to become a little bit more strategic , to even get a little bit more complex . Maybe it's trying to pull something more out of you . Maybe the route that you're going is the more basic route and you need to dig a little deeper . Delays tend to take that out of you because you're like that's when you start getting creative . It's like , okay , wait a minute . All right , this has been six months into making . Now Maybe I need to bring in another resource . Is there somebody else I need to reach out to Pay attention to those delays and roadblocks , so you want to pay attention to them . You don't want to get discouraged by them . You want to pay attention to them . But it also takes me to number 16 .

Speaker 1

Delays , roadblocks , adversity , asking yourself what this is trying to teach me . It takes me to number 16 , which is being uncomfortable . Pushes you into what's next , and so you got to get comfortable being uncomfortable . So , for example , let's say you're in this stability mode where everything's going good Home , life is cool , your job is acting right , everything's coasting , you got money in your pocket , like whatever that looks like for you , whatever being comfortable looks like for you , like you're on it , things are coasting . And then , all of a sudden , your feathers get ruffled . Maybe your boss starts giving you a hard time at work over and over again and you can't figure out what the problem is . Or maybe they have layoffs or a pay cut or something happens that completely throws you for a loop . And now you're not uncomfortable . It's like I hate this job . You begin to all of a sudden the job that you loved , or the job or the little things that was happening , didn't matter . That didn't matter before . Now they are driving you nuts .

Speaker 1

Typically , that's the way of pushing you into what's next . Because when you're comfortable and when you get too comfortable , that's when you get stagnant , that's when you don't look for anything else . You don't look for the promotion , you don't look for a job somewhere else , you don't look for a better opportunity . Why ? Because you're comfortable where you are . But once you start getting uncomfortable , right , once that job starts giving you a hard time or maybe they switched your manager and that manager you hate it . That forces you to say you know what ? I can't do this . I don't want to do this anymore . I'm going to start . I know my words . I don't have to deal with this , I'm going to start looking at something else . Or you know what ? A new job came up in another department . I've always had my eyes on that department , but I was just comfortable and where I'm at , because it was working just fine . Well , now that you're uncomfortable , it pushes you to apply for the job that maybe just got posted in that other department . So always remember , when you get uncomfortable again , don't get frustrated , don't get upset . Know that it's shifting you . It's pushing you into what's next . So that's when you have to start paying attention . What does this mean ? Why am I uncomfortable right now , number 17, .

Speaker 1

You don't and won't know everything . Okay , so you don't know everything and you won't ever know everything . So you got to get comfortable asking for advice , asking for help , listening to other podcasts , reading books , taking the advice . A lot of times we sit and we try to figure things out on our own and we think we have all the answers and I'm good , I don't need to help , it's okay . It's okay . There are people that have other experiences , that have gone through what you've gone through , that have written about it . The internet is full of stories and articles . Even people right next to you cousins , friends , mentors , other industry colleagues , whatever industry you're in Ask questions . It's okay to be vulnerable and say you know what .

Speaker 1

I see the way that you're doing XYZ and I've always had a hard time doing that , but I like the way you're doing it . Would you mind giving me some tips ? Or how'd you do this ? How did you get into that ? What insights do you have ? And it's okay , I mean , yeah , maybe everybody might not share , but for the most part , you'd be surprised to know that people are willing to help you talk , answer your questions . Not only that , it's almost like an ego boost for them , because when you acknowledge them and say , man , hey , I like the way you've been doing this , I've been watching you for a minute . I got to give you some props , like how you been doing that , they're like oh me , okay . And they start popping their collar like , yeah , let me tell you what I've been doing , because it's almost like an ego boost to them . So don't get caught up in thinking you know everything . Be okay with seeking new ways of doing things and seeking answers .

Finding Success and Overcoming Challenges

Speaker 1

Number 18 , there is no competition . Don't worry about competition . There is enough for everyone . Real estate for me . This is my industry . There's so many other people doing this . Thousands of people are getting licensed every day and it's like , oh God , another one . But just know what's for you is for you . There's enough business opportunity carved out for everyone . Nobody can take what was designed and created for you . God has already created and molded you to be who you are and already carved out enough resources and tools money , business , everything that you need for you , your serving , your portion has already been saved for you . So it doesn't matter how many other people are doing what you're doing . Be authentic , be you and trust that whatever opportunities are already carved out before you were even born , they're still there and nobody can take that from you .

Speaker 1

Number 19 , rest . You will get tired . You will want to give up . Um , you will say you know what ? I'm sick of this , I don't have no more energy left . I don't want to do this . I don't care what happens tomorrow . I'm done Whatever . Just rest , it's okay . Don't give up .

Speaker 1

And when I say rest , that might mean two weeks , that might mean a month . For some people that might mean four months . You might go on a high . On a high eight is for six months , like I'm just over it and done . I don't have it in me . Do what you need to do to rest , regroup , pivot , rethink , whatever that means for you . But what is absolutely not an option is giving up Like that . That just can't happen . Because what are your options ? If you give up , what happens next ? If you give up , then you damn sure won't accomplish what you set out to accomplish . Tomorrow won't get better , your bills won't get paid , your financial situation won't improve . Your children , your relationship with your children they won't improve . Whatever . It is , um , that's giving you a hard time . The one thing I can promise you if you give up is that it won't work out Right . So the only thing that uh is is not an option is giving up . So rest .

Speaker 1

Sometimes you have to be still . Um , you may be someone that's go , go , go , go , go , go , like you're always in hustle mode . Let's make it happen . And that's me . I'm just naturally that kind of person , and so when I feel down or I'm having those days where I've lost it or I don't have it today and I need to be still , or my body or my mind is forcing me to take a moment to rest , to be still , to do nothing , I beat myself up on those days which comes back around to giving yourself that grace to say , okay , every day is not going to be a good day , you're not going to be hustle woman and super woman and spider man and whatever else every single day . So if that means that you need to be still and take a rest , and that's a two week timeframe or it's three days where you've just been down and out , be still , gotta do what you gotta do .

Speaker 1

And finally , number 20 , define what success looks like for you . Define what a good life looks like for you , because your definition of success or having a good quality of life it might be different from some for someone else . Someone else's definition may be that they make six figures , man . That's , that's my milestone of success . Once I hit six figures , I'm good , you know . Or once I hit a million , or .

Speaker 1

But money may not be your indicator in life that you've been successful . It may be freedom , meaning you want to choose a career that allows you freedom and flexibility . Okay , maybe . Maybe your definition of success is having some type of career that pays your bills but also allows you the flexibility to show up to all of your kids . Christmas programs that happened during the day that you wouldn't be able to go to if you worked a nine to five job . Excuse me , so if you worked a nine to five job , you wouldn't be able to go to the Christmas or the award ceremony at your child's school , but because you've I don't know created the life for yourself . Maybe it's a certain job , maybe you work at night . Whatever it is you created to be able to have that flexibility , because flexibility and the ability to show up for your family is what success looks like for you . That is what gives you your drive and your energy .

Speaker 1

Maybe success for you and everybody's not meant to be an entrepreneur , so maybe success for you is your . You climbing the ladder at a corporation , it's okay . Everybody's not meant to go and open and build some multi-layer , multi-million dollar company . So get really clear at what success looks like for you . Maybe success is I don't have to have this huge job title that pays a lot of money . I want to make an impact . I love people and I want to be able to make a positive impact on people . So maybe that means I don't know working for a homeless shelter or starting a group where it's a nonprofit group . You don't make any money off of it , but every month you guys get together and make deliveries to the homeless population downtown and for you , because you have the ability to do that , you feel successful in your life , because you're making an impact . So get really clear about what that looks like for you and begin to create the world that you want to live in .

I was listening to a sermon the other day on YouTube by TD Jakes . I forgot the title of it , but it was talking about . You know , you are in control of your life and you have the ability every day to change something . You don't like it , you don't like where things are headed . Change it . You don't like the world that you're living in right now . Of course , not the world and the outside factors there's not a whole lot you can do about that but your world that you live in , your household , your financial situation , your education . Maybe you're beating yourself up because you don't have a degree . Create the world you want to live in . You've been beating yourself up because you feel like better opportunities will come If you had a degree . Start today , go make the application apply to college and get started . So the excuses or the pity party that's not an option anymore .

Define what success looks like for you and begin to create the world you want to live in , because you don't want to wake up 20 years from now and wish man , what if I would have done this ? What if I want to do that ? Time is passing by so fast . You'll look up and you would have lost 10 years and what could you have done in those 10 years ? And so you don't want to live with any regrets . So that's kind of where I'm at right now . That's the most important one for me right now is really assessing the world around me and not getting caught up in what other people think success looks like , but trying to define that for myself and for my family and recreate the things around me . Okay , tasha , I don't like how that's going right now , so what do I need to do to fix that ? Okay , I don't like the way that's looking either , so what do I need to do to shift that around ? You're the only person that can do that , so make sure you're doing it . So , yeah , those are my top 20 things that have really helped me along the way , and they're still helping me .

I have to go back and remind myself of these a lot of times , and sometimes even when I'm wallowing in whatever I don't know mental spiral I've sent myself on for the day . Sometimes you don't have the ability to pull yourself out of it . That's why it's important if you have family members or friend , a trusted friend , or husband , spouse , whatever it is you're able to say , they're able to say to you I'm not going to let you beat yourself up today . You need to chill out , chill . The stuff will be here tomorrow . So , even on these things on the list , you might not be in a mental state to pull yourself out all the time , but the people around you should be reminding you of these things as well . So I hope that you guys were taking notes and that something was said to help you guys on your journey in life and business . So until next time , I'm your host , natasha LaQuinn , the Queen of Real Estate , and you've been tuned into the Throne . See you guys later . Bye .
