Matt Shoup, is a Jesus follower, husband, father, keynote speaker, facilitator, author, serial entrepreneur, Spain aficionado, Spanish coffee addict, aspiring paella chef and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He’s proof that you can mix faith, business, and caffeine—and still find time to roll on the mats.
He has spent the last 25 years building successful companies, and interacting with some of the world’s most inspiring, interesting, and successful leaders. Matt’s initial journey to advance and develop his own leadership has now developed into this podcast to contribute to you!
When Matt isn’t inspiring entrepreneurs or running his businesses, he enjoys traveling to Spain, teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, perfecting his paella recipes, fueling his Spanish coffee addiction, and most of all, spending quality time with his wife, two children, and their dog.

Jesse Laner is a husband, father, and co-owner of Northern Colorado’s thriving real estate brokerage, C3. Interestingly, Jesse never planned on getting into real estate. The profession found him during a pivotal time in his life. In 2008, while initially exploring real estate investing, Jesse realized he needed capital to achieve his goals. This led him to the selling side of real estate—a move that helped him build up his cash reserves and launched his career in the industry. In this episode, Jesse gives a refreshingly transparent take on the real estate world. He doesn’t hold back in sharing his thoughts on both the rewards and challenges of his profession. He dives into the importance of collaboration within the industry, introducing the concept of “collabo-tition,” where competitors work together to raise the overall success of everyone involved.
