In this episode we’re talking about a part of the SSTUWA who’s goal is to have educators feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, valued and having fun, all while experiencing powerful learning outcomes; otherwise known as the Education and Training Centre (ETC).

Hear from ETC coordinator, Kevlynn Annandale, about all the wonderful events the SSTUWA offers throughout the year, TUT leave, how much you can access these events for, how to keep in the loop and where to register.

The ETC is a not-for-profit part of the SSTUWA that offers around 200 learning events per year, both face-to-face and online. These courses range from industrial and professional training to conferences and forums, WHS training and career development training.

The ETC always ensure they source amazing keynote speakers and high-quality presenters, and keep each event lively, practical and upbeat.

If you prefer to stay at home in your pyjamas during the holidays or after school, then the ETC have you covered with a range of fantastic online courses available.

Did you know that as a teacher you are eligible to attend five days of Trade Union Training Leave (TUT) per year?

Brief overview of what services the Education and Training Centre offers.
The ETC offers a range of events in a number of different categories.
The ETC is a not-for-profit part of the SSTUWA.
Industrial training: designed and delivered by a highly skilled group of SSTUWA staff who have had experience themselves working in schools and colleges.
Did you know that as a teacher you are eligible to attend five days of Trade Union Training Leave (TUT) per year?
Professional learning face to face and online: If you prefer to stay at home in your pjs during the holidays or after school then ETC also have you covered.
Conferences and forums: All conferences are a combination of superb professional learning opportunities plus some industrial learning topics incorporated.
Work health and safety: Elected WHS officers can attend HSR training in a range of locations.
Career development training: a range of training events to support people with their career development pathways.
