Episode 8b: “Good Apollo I” - A Concept Album by Coheed and Cambria
In this week's episodes of “Storyweavers,” our hosts provided each other with a piece of media they hold dear. John and Dean each took time to experience and digest these works and then came together to discuss them.
In Episode 8b, Dean offered John the option to listen to one of two concept albums by Coheed and Cambria, and John selected “Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Vol 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness.” They discuss their experience and reactions to “Good Apollo I,” offer insight into the real-life events that inspired the album, and delve into the accompanying graphic novels written by Coheed founder Claudio Sanchez.
