A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 06): Blood of the Covenant
This message centers on the most vivid expression of God's unchanging love—the cross of Christ. Drawing from Matthew 26, Exodus 24, and Hebrews 9, we explore how the Lord’s Supper is more than a ritual: it is a powerful reminder of a faithful God in an unfaithful world.
From the blood-sprinkled covenant at Sinai to the spotless sacrifice of our perfect High Priest, Jesus, we trace the crimson thread of redemption through Scripture. Every element—every stain—points us to the reality of sin and the even greater reality of grace.
In seasons of darkness, when God’s love feels distant, we are called to fix our eyes on the cross. It is there, at the table, where we renew our commitment, remember His consistency, and see love clearly than ever before.
This episode invites you to never take this memorial lightly and to let it anchor you in both grief and joy, uncertainty and faith.

A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 05): Count It All Joy
This episode kicks off a two-part message grounded in James 1:1–8, where we explore how an unchanging God shapes our response to a changing, painful world.
Life’s trials come in many forms—loss, temptation, injustice, grief—and while they are never pleasant, they are not pointless. James calls us to count it all joy not because suffering feels good, but because enduring hardship with faith deepens our character, strengthens our trust, and refines our hope.
We reflect on God’s wisdom as the key to perspective—because when life feels zoomed in and unclear, only God sees the whole picture. His wisdom helps us move forward, not backward, and His unchanging nature gives us confidence to stay anchored when the storm is fiercest.
If you’ve been struggling to find meaning in your suffering or stability in your faith, this episode offers practical and spiritual clarity: don’t quit the process, trust God’s goodness, and ask for the wisdom only He can give.

Truth Amid Confusion (Lesson 05): Justification by Faith (Galatians 2:16)
In lesson five of Truth Amid Confusion, Joshua Creel unpacks the heart of the gospel—justification by faith. What does it mean to be justified? Why can’t the law save us? This message explores Paul’s powerful statement that we are made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own merit.

A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 04): We Have An Anchor
Rooted in Hebrews 6:13–20, this message builds on our 2025 theme, A Certain God for Uncertain Times, by exploring the powerful metaphor of our hope as an anchor, sure and steadfast, even in life’s fiercest storms.
Through the lens of Abraham’s story, we see a God who not only makes promises but swears by Himself to reassure us—His heirs—that we can be fully assured of our eternal hope. From Genesis to Hebrews, from altar to anchor, God has gone above and beyond to ground our faith in His unchangeable nature.
When doubts arise—when we question our own salvation or face chaos in the world—this episode invites us to remember the anchor behind the veil: Jesus, our eternal High Priest. He is our tether in the storm, our guarantee that the promises of God will not fail.
If you've ever wrestled with uncertainty, this lesson offers comfort, conviction, and a clear call: Hold fast to the hope set before you.

A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 03): Do I Know the Lord
In this message from our theme A Certain God for Uncertain Times, Kyle Goodwin tackles the most important question a Christian can ask: Do I truly know God, or do I just know about Him?
Drawing from John 5 and examples of the Pharisees, we explore the danger of external religiosity without a real relationship. This lesson challenges us to go deeper than facts, doctrine, or tradition—to truly see God’s form, hear His voice, and reflect His character in worship, morality, service, and endurance.
If your heart feels far from God, this message is a call to draw near, not just with words, but in spirit and truth.

A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 02): Mountains
In this second message from our 2025 theme, A Certain God for Uncertain Times, Kyle Goodwin explores how mountains in Scripture reflect the strength, stability, and presence of God. From Mount Sinai to Mount Zion, God reveals Himself as a place of refuge, clarity, and unchanging power.
Whether you're burdened, searching for perspective, or simply in need of solid ground, this lesson reminds us that God's Kingdom is our high ground—steadfast and immovable. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

A Certain God for Uncertain Times (Lesson 01): You Do Not Change
As we enter a new year, this message introduces our 2025 theme: A Certain God for Uncertain Times. Rooted in James 1:17 and echoed throughout Scripture, this lesson explores the unwavering character of God, who remains faithful, dependable, and constant even when we are not.
From Noah to Abraham, David to the people of Israel, we see a pattern: God keeps His promises even when His people fall short. In Isaiah 30, we’re reminded that while our faith may falter, God's mercy remains, and His justice is always purposeful and redemptive.
Whether you're facing fear, doubt, or instability, this episode invites you to build your life on the unshakable foundation of God's character. Because when everything around us shifts, He does not change.
