Hello, and welcome back to another week of honeys making money. This week has been so full on in the best possible way, we have been working so, so hard behind the scenes to bring you guys some really, really epic tools and resources to tap into outside of the podcast. So I'm just, I'm high vibes, I'm a high energy, this is just all so exciting. And I honestly can't wait to open some new doors for you guys. But let's leave it at that before I spill the bloody beans on it all. This week's episode is all about is only fans worth it in 2023, I think is a really cool subject. Because not only if you are somebody that's thinking about starting in the industry, or you've just started, but also for women that have been in long term that may be slowing down and that opinion keeps coming up, you know, it's not worth it in 2023 is only fans dead? What are we doing what's next. So let's talk about it. Let's touch on it. So to give you a bit of insight, pre COVID onlyfans was a much different place. Now I was not around them. But I have done a lot of research on models who had joined the platform in that time what was going on. And it was, it was a bloody dream, I'll tell you what, it was a much easier place. It was high demand and low content. So there were a lot of subscribers on there that had high demand for all their needs. But there weren't many content creators that knew about only a fan. So there was only a handful of people that were on there at the time. So creating an only fans back pre COVID. I'm not going to say easy because no business is easy. But there were elements of it that just grew much, much quicker COVID Here at the end of 2019. And then 2020, we all went into lockdown here in Australia. And that's where only fans really hit its boom, there were so many creators that found themselves joining the platform because they had no work to go to they had to stay at home and there was nothing to do they couldn't make an income. So only fans itself really skyrocketed in the years of COVID. Also, the subscriber count went up massively as well, because there are so many men at home not being able to do the things that they normally we're able to do. So on both sides, only fans did grow substantially during COVID. Now coming into 2020 to 2023, it is established and a lot of people do know what it's about. So it's quite well known. It is out there people know what it's about. It's not unfamiliar. When COVID started, it was more of an unfamiliar territory. So that is what I believe is the kind of growth with only fans, I believe we're at a stage where it's it's plateauing in terms of the platform and it growing. Not that that's a bad thing, because I think there's always growth, and it will always be growing, it's an industry that will always have a demand. And there will always be supply, which is really fantastic. But let's get into the pros and the cons of actually starting an account in 2023. And what to consider. And yeah, just the things to put to the test. Really, let's think about the cons here. So the cons now of joining in 2023 is that there is so much more work involved. And the effort is really high for low return at the start of your business. So we're not going to really see, unless you're super famous, like what we saw, pre COVID, we're not really gonna see you start on early fans and have a really high return straightaway. What it is now it's a little bit backwards, it's more the creators that are working hard and putting down the foundation and building all of that up. That's when it starts to grow. So it's gonna take hard work, it's going to take marketing, it's going to take months of maybe earning a low income before you start to grow and get that momentum. So think about it from the subscriber point of view. Now, there are so many people on the website and there are creators coming and going, they are looking at these new creators and some of them pay for a month worth of content and new creators come on and decide, oh, I didn't get rich. I you know, it's not for me, I'm leaving and then they're left with paying a whole month upfront and this creator has now stopped posting so there was a lot of that that happened through COVID and some subscribers have been a little bit more cautious now. So now it's really about proving to the subscribers that you're gonna stick around for longer that you're here for longevity, that you've got a heap of content there that you're going to still be posting content. So that work there, over the next three months of building up will be so much harder, because you're going to need to prove to the subscribers that, hey, I'm here, I'm working really hard, I love what I do. And this is the reason to join my site, because I'm not going anywhere, you know, you guys are going to get so much value and come on this journey with me. So that's something to consider for a con. The next one is branding. So once again, pre COVID branding wasn't really a thing, like you could jump on the site and give yourself a fake name. and off you go, you're done. Because there wasn't much competition, there wasn't hundreds and 1000s of other women who look like you that brand themselves the same. So now it's really important that you really spend time on branding and you build a brand and make sure that you are able to stick out because now when you're joining, there are going to be hundreds of 1000s of other women that look like you. So you need to work on those parts that aren't the appearance, you need to work on those parts that don't just come down to your looks, because that's not going to set you apart anymore. What's going to set your part is you and who you are and the authentic parts of you and your branding and what your brand represents and what lights you up and what you stand for. So you've really got to make sure that your branding is down to a tee. Another thing to consider is social media has changed so much so not just the early fans platform. But social media and tick tock is very similar to this as well. You know, once upon a time tick tock, it was easy to post something a little bit risky a few years ago, and it would go viral. And there were so many creators there that were just constantly going viral for risky stuff, the bands weren't really high, and it was much easier back then, now to tox technology to be able to scan their whole platform and find inappropriate videos. You know, sex workers on there is so advanced and their algorithm is so advanced, They've just grown so much over the last few years. So it's not just as easy as getting on and doing a tick tock and blowing up. It's really researching trends. What's going on now doesn't fit in with your branding and marketing and how do you create a tick tock that reflects that brand there is so much built around that with your social media. Obviously, social media is growing at a rapid rate as well. So now we've got more people on Tik Tok, we've got more creators on Tik Tok. So to stand out as well and get a viral video is really competitive. So not just thinking about what's on the site that's going to be competitive, but also off the site. Okay, let's move on to some pros, you can get both sides of the view. And yeah, you can make an educated decision on whether you do think o f is worth it in 2023. I will tell you at the end what my thoughts are on it. But let's get into the pros at this very stage in 2023. If you wanted to start your own only fans, I believe that there are more platforms to promote them. So if you go back a few years ago, there weren't as many platforms to promote on you were really, I suppose stuck to maybe Instagram, Reddit was a big one back then. Discord telegram. Now the list is endless. We've got new apps coming up all the time, we've got threads that have just hit our app store. So there are more ways to promote and it's getting more streamline as well. We've got aI helping us create videos and create tax. So in that sense, we have a wider community of people to reach and we're also streamlining our marketing content as well. So I think that's a massive pro versus just being able to promote on one platform. Okay, now back to the good stuff I also think on another really big pro is for 2023 people are more open to early fans. This is a big one because if you started early fans, you know Back in the day, Oh, not that it's not taboo. Now, it absolutely still is. But back then it was just, it was really unheard of, there wasn't a community of women doing it. So there's probably a lack of community back then there wasn't a community of women doing it. And the judgement that would have been passed on, it would have been so big, I think now in 2023, especially after COVID and acil, exploring different parts of us and the world has changed so much in the last two years, that the community and people are just a little bit more open with it, they're just a little bit more like cool, whatever, oh, you're doing early pants, as well. You're an early fans, Jake, whatever. So I think that's a really great Pro, that there are more people now that are more open to it. And there's really less judgement, it's a sex positive movement, and I'm fucking all for it. So I love that one. Another one to consider is there are so many more resources right now out to tap into, you know that I speak about this so much guys, like when I first started, there was nothing, there really wasn't anything to tap into. And now there is lots of things out there, which is really, really great, you have the opportunity now to go out, find someone that you vibe with a podcast or a YouTube channel or whatever it may be a creator, and you can go and support them and go and tap into their information. And that is such a big pro. Because you can tap into their blueprint, you can tap into their knowledge, creators are now opening up their doors and saying, hey, you know, you come in and have a one on one coaching session, I'll teach you the way. And that wasn't like that, especially when I first started, it was not like that. So the support you've got there now is absolutely incredible. And a really, really big pro, in my opinion. Now, if you are planning on collaborating and getting together with male or female creators to create content, this is a massive pro because a few years ago, there wasn't that many creators in the industry. Now there are so many really great creators that are actively collabing, especially here in Australia. I know when I first started, I could not find many, there was probably two, maybe three that I knew of that were on my radar for collabing. I should mention women were on my radar. But in terms of you know, a big community of women to get together and do tick tock days it wasn't really heard of. So now there's a huge opportunity to collab with so many women and women that have built their business. And you can cross promote, cross, advertise, do all the good stuff organised tick tock days and collab days, a, there's so much fun and beat, you get to promote each other. So it's really, really great. That is just a really big advantage to be able to, you know, jump in, worked really hard on your business for three months, and then reach out to people for collabing. So also speaking on the back of social media, and you know how many more platforms that are out there to promote on also think about how many more users and now in 2023, using social media, like social media and being on your phone is the way of life it really is, as much as that kills me to say, everything is done on our phones, our social media, we keep in contact, and everyone has a social media account. It is just so big right now compared to a few years ago, when a lot of people didn't have tick tock or Instagram and they just had Facebook, now they are evolving. And they are joining these platforms. So not only are we getting a lot of creators, creating their social media, but we also have so many more viewers daily joining these apps, we live in a world where people are always on there. So essentially, we have in 2023 a bigger audience to promote to so there are just a few pros and cons, in my opinion of starting your account in 2023. And some things to take into consideration. If you are looking at starting or maybe you are a content creator, and you've been telling yourself ads dead, it's dying. There's some things to take into consideration. So do I think only fans is dead in 2023? Or do I think it is going to die off? And my answer is absolutely not. This industry will always have a demand. It is the sex work industry and sex is always in demand. So it will never be in a place where the supply is higher than the demand. But we will get to a stage I believe where it will start to plateau. Now the only thing that I think has really changed is obviously the old methods have just stopped working like there are creators out there that used to get on and do minimal work for huge return. And that just doesn't work anymore. Just you need to be treating it like a business and you need to be educated around the business structure of it and how to run it. So those days are gone. The days are gone of minimal work turning up putting a nude online and getting a really high return. So yes, it is absolutely worth it. But the work has substantially increased, you must be able to recognise that you're gonna have to work hard. So if you are looking at the opportunity, and you think, should I start in 2023? Is it too late? Have I missed the boat? Well, if you're willing to work hard, no, you haven't missed the boat, and it's not too late, you should have started yesterday. That's my advice to you if you can see this as a business opportunity. And you can see that this is going to be a long term business for you and you're willing to work hard on it, then 2023 is the time to start for you and you will grow with the right tools and resources you will grow with the right mindset and the willingness to win and, and move forward all the time and learn and grow. But if you are in the old ways of thinking that you are just going to do minimal work, and you are going to get really rich, then get 2023 early fans not for you. I'm sorry. But for the majority of people that can see it as a business opportunity, you can absolutely do it you can start 2023 with a bang, make incredible income and really set yourself up it is not too late. I don't care what anyone says I am now seeing my friends still go viral, like absolutely insane viral, there are girls that are exploding, left, right and centre, like they are going through the roof. If the industry was dead, then nobody would be coming to their sites. And if there are people that are going to their sites and they're turning into subscribers, that doesn't mean that there's less for you. That means there are more subscribers on the account. And once they've seen them they're going to be looking for their next model and that could be you. So if you want to start only fans 2023 is your year it's going to be epic started the right way head back to the start of my podcast and have a listen to the first few episodes because that will really help you set up strong.
