In this episode we use the guitar to study, in all keys, an 8-bar solfege line entitled "Allegro moderato," Example 122 from the text "A New Approach to Sight Singing" by Berkowitz, Fontrier, & Kraft.
If you use solfege syllables, its:
Phrase 1: Sol, mi, fa, sol, do (high), ti, la, sol
Phrase 2: Mi, do, re, mi, sol, fa, mi, re
Phrase 3: Do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, sol, do (high), ti, la, sol, fa, mi, re, mi, re, do.
Exercise 1: Sing the line at 40 on the half note 2x.
Exercise 2: Sing the line at 60 on the half note 2x.
