What's going down in our own backyard? In this episode Gino chats about what's new and what's news in our local film and television industry, kicking off with a fun day Adulting.
In the third and final season of Adulting, the stakes are higher and the nights are wilder than ever. Bonga is newly married, Mpho is freshly divorced, Vuyani is about to open his dream nightclub, and Eric is trying to embrace a 9 to 5 car service centre job, with a boss. S3 is now streaming, with new episodes landing every Saturday. To kick things off Showmax hosted a fun day where you could meet the stars and their co-stars and take them on with video games. Gino cracked the nod and gives his report back.
In May last year we chatted to stunt artists/co-ordinators Katja Hopkins and Craig Macrae about their dream of putting South African performers on the map with their SAFFA Stunt Awards. We are delighted to say that this happened and will become a yearly event.
Top News! A South African short film detailing rhino poaching and conservation called The Last Ranger has been nominated for an Oscar.
And lastly, all hail to the king! The prequel to The Lion King follows the rise of Mufasa from lost lion cub to king of the pride.
