Corpus Christi Novena Day Five: Eucharist as a Means of Union with Christ
St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380) pray for us!
For the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, we will be praying a novena to prepare for this great feast, asking for an increase of love, desire and reverence for the Holy Eucharist. Each day, we will walk with a Saint who led a Eucharistic-centered life. We would love for you to pray with us!
A Novena is a nine-day period of prayer, typically to ask God for special favors or to seek the intercession of a saint. The word "novena" comes from the Latin word "novem," meaning nine. Novenas are often prayed before a special feast day, event, or to address a specific need.
