Hey everyone and welcome to TrustBytes, a Knowledge Center podcast bringing you educational material in a fun and easy format. I’m your host, Andrea Zuehlsdorff, eLearning Developer and Coordinator here at the Knowledge Center. In today’s episode we are going to talk a little bit about the Knowledge Center, what the purpose of this podcast is, and how you can get involved. So, let’s get into it.
First, let's talk about who the Knowledge Center is. The Knowledge Center is here to do the training of our employees; whether that’s new employee orientation, ongoing and continuing education (like new products, or changes to EMR, or anything like that), professional development of Trustbridge employees, and leadership trainings. We are also here to help you any way we can. We're here to help all of our staff, both clinical and non-clinical, with anything they need. Whether that’s online training help, help with documentation or skills, or communication with patients and families. We are here to help you Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. We can be reached via phone at 561-419-2837 or you can email us at educationrequest@trustbridge.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. The Knowledge Center is centrally located in West Palm Beach near CDF; however, our clinical educators and our non-clinical educators round in the regional offices; so you might be able to find one of them there. Next is the purpose of our podcast. You’re probably asking yourself, “Why are we, a Hospice organization that takes care of patients, why are we doing a podcast?”, well the truth is, we want to ensure we get information to our staff efficiently and effectively and one way to do that is to do a podcast. Don’t get us wrong, we will continue to do live, virtual, and online trainings, this is just another way for us to get you the information. We're hoping that by doing a podcast, we can make it easier on our field staff since you can listen on your drive between patients, on your way into the office, or even as you are wrapping up your day. You don't have to go to a computer and sit there and do the trainings, you can listen to them as you work. The podcast is new for all of us so we need your help. We are excited to share many different topics with everyone including communication, basics on hospice, dealing with difficult people, emergency management, pediatrics and much more. We might even get lucky and be able to talk with some of our leadership about what is going on with the organization and what changes we might be seeing in the future. One of the things that is exciting about this is, we want to know what you want to learn. We need your help, we want you to get involved. Do you have a topic that you would like to see us talk about in the podcast? Are you having trouble in a specific area and know other staff members who are having trouble also? We want to hear from you. Let us know what we can talk about, it'll help build our resources. Submit a ticket with title ‘Podcast Topic’ to educationrequest@trustbridge.com and we will see what we can do. We can’t guarantee that we will cover every topic, but this will help us help you.
Well, that brings us to the end of this episode of TrustBytes! We hope that you enjoyed learning about the Knowledge Center and the reason for this podcast. Remember, submit your topic ideas to educationrequest@trustbridge.com. We look forward to getting your ideas and we hope you'll tune into our next episode. Thank you for being with us.
