Autism Journey aims to shed light on the unique challenges autistic individuals face, as well as their incredible strengths and talents. Through in-depth interviews and personal stories, we navigate the complexities of autism, and bring awareness and understanding of this neurodevelopmental disorder.

We talk to parents, siblings, and individuals with autism themselves, allowing listeners to gain first-hand perspectives from those living with autism every day.

“Autism Journey" is a safe space for listeners to learn, grow, and discover how to better support and embrace neurodiversity.
Whether you are a parent, educator, professional, or simply interested in expanding your knowledge, Autism Journey aims to foster a more inclusive and compassionate society for everyone.

Shalita Thomison is a single mother raising two boys, Jaylan and Kenden. Kenden, her youngest, is autistic. Shalita started a blog called Exploring the Life of Kenden Carter, along with an Instagram account with the same name. There she chronicles life with Kenden, her continuous battle with the school system, Kenden's new milestones and so much more.
