Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Hey, Jackie, how are?

Speaker 1:

you Better now that I hear your voice Smooches how you doing, I'm doing good, honey, I'm doing well.

Speaker 2:

I'm just excited about this opportunity to be on the Listenlender show. This is you know. Hey, I go back and I think about where I was a year ago. From a year ago last year I was doing something, and the year before I was doing something small. So each year God is elevating. So I'm excited, I'm really am.

Speaker 1:

Thank you so much for that. You know what, before we get into the questions, I want to actually take time and just go through a prayer, would you mind? Oh no, definitely. Speaker 1:

May her words touch the hearts of those who needed most of the light of the message To say yes to themselves unapologetically, and as we engage in meaningful dialogue and exploration, may we foster an atmosphere of respect and inclusivity. Let us celebrate diversity and embrace the strength that comes from unity. We invite you, god, to bless this show as hosts, and our special guest, cherise King. May the wisdom shared today continue to resonate within us long after the show concludes. In your name, jesus, we pray Amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, amen. I receive that prayer. Nothing like a good prayer.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, yes. So, Miss Cherise, let's just start with questions. Can you tell us more about your journey as a multi-talented individual and how you have made your mark in various domains?

Speaker 2:

Yes. So, wow, multi-talented. You know that's funny that I hear you say something like that, because I feel like it's just the season that I'm in my life and I was just thinking this morning it'd be nine years since the homicide of my brother but nevertheless so I'm a realtor, I have my own real estate company, I'm licensed in Missouri and Kansas and Arizona and doing my process of life and journey, of what I've experienced while I was caring for my mother, I started saying you know, I wouldn't mind being a motivational speaker, but I believe that came from years ago. I had an agent and we were talking when he said to me I had a dream that I saw you standing on the stage speaking before thousands of people, but you had like a robe or something and I'm like was it speaking? What were you talking about? Because at that time I'm like you know, I'm not afraid to talk, but I believe that God always give you an example or a glimpse of your future. So, with that being said, the things that I've encountered and endured and how God has blessed me to overcome, I have the capacity, that I have a confidence in the words that he gives me to speak before the masses of people because you don't know who you may empower, motivate, inspire, encourage to get off the couch to believe in themselves. But also, it's a healing for me to tell my truth and my story, not to hold it close to my chest, because I believe we are sick as our secrets. And then, with that being said, in January of 2022, I taken the example to do voiceover classes and I did that and got the certificate for voiceover classes and have a demo tape for that.

Speaker 2:

And then you know, I just was yesterday, I was just in the stage play. So not only am I a motivational speaker, a realtor, voiceover actor, I am now, I believe, an actor. And then we're going to do a encore that I understand that we're going to go and do that play again. So, multi-faceted, I believe that God will stretch you and put you in places and spaces that you never thought of, but it's not for you, but it's also for his glory and also to let people know that anything is possible. To continue to go, keep on going. So I'm excited. I mean you and I, we are authors. A co-author in the book. She said yes to herself unapologetically, and that's it. I'm saying yes to myself unapologetically. I'm not giving no apologies about what God told me to do and how he told me to do it. You don't have to like it and you don't have to understand and I don't have to explain.

Speaker 1:

Amen, girl, you better come through now. You came me going ahead of me, because you probably asked about five of these questions already. I'm just taking it. Just go. I love it, though, girl. Take that fire and blow it, baby, put some perfume on it and light it up. Honey, I'm at it, I'm at it. So my next question I want to ask you is what inspired you to start what she said, productions and curate captivating experiences through speaking engagements and seeing hosting and voiceover work, like what was your inspiration behind that? What made you say this is what I want to do?

Speaker 2:

Well, because I still believe that the story that I have I need to share it. I need to because, again, it's more about healing for me and I believe it's obedience to God. And I was sitting with a girlfriend one day when I actually came up with a name and I was sitting there and I had something. I was like that's not it. That's not it, it is what she said. But what she said is what the word of God had given me to say. So the words that I say, doing speeches and things of that nature, people say have you rehearsed? Have you rehearsed? And I'll do a little bit of write down trying to rememberize, and I get real nervous and anxious and get I'll fuss and I'm like I can't rehearse who I am, I'm just going, I remember a few things, but the guy's going to give me the words I just don't rehearse.

Speaker 2:

So the inspiration to speak is to heal myself, to tell my story, because we're sick as our worst secrets. So I have to tell my story about what I'm going through, how I'm feeling. I'm kind of feeling kind of doubtful, feeling a little anxious, wondering what people are going to say. But I know I can't be the only one feeling this way. So it's what she said.

Speaker 2:

What she said is is how somebody else feels, but they don't know how to say it. They too. They said, well, I'm not going to say it, I'm just going to. You know, I don't want to mean make nobody feel the way. So what she said is the inspiration of other people, what they want to say and what they feel. But they may be too ashamed or too afraid to feel, because sometimes what we do is we want to appease the masses of what they feel, while we. One thing I say is you're trying to keep the piece while you're trying to keep the piece while you are following the part in pieces. So in order for me not to follow part in pieces, I have to say my piece, speak my piece, so that I can have my own piece. Does that make sense?

Speaker 1:

Perfect sense, oh talk to me.

Speaker 4:

Oh, talk to me. Alone in a room, it's just me and you. I feel so lost because I don't know what to do Now. What if I choose the wrong thing to do? I'm so afraid afraid of disappointing you. So I need to talk to you and ask you for your guidance, especially today when my life is so cloudy. Guide me until I'm sure I open my heart. Oh yeah, my hopes and dreams are fading fast. I'm all burnt out and I don't think my strength gonna last. So I'm crying out, crying out to you. I know that you're the only one who is able to follow me through, so I know I need to talk to you and ask you for your guidance, especially today when my world seems so cloudy. Guide me until I'm sure I open up my heart. Oh yeah, yes, I do so. Show me how to do things your way. Don't let me make the same steps over and over again. You will be done and I'll be the one to make sure. To make sure that it's proud and in me. I don't want any time that's wild. I want to talk to you beside of you and ask you for your guidance, especially today when my world seems just a little bit cloudy.

Speaker 4:

Lord, you can guide me through. That's why I open up, I open up my heart, my heart, my heart. All I need to do is just hear a single word from you. I open up my heart. Just one word can make the difference in what I do. Lord, guide me until I'm sure I open, I open, I open, I open my heart. All I need to do is just say one word, one word, one word, one word. I open up, I open up, open up my heart to you, to you. You're the love of my soul, the captain of my sea. I need to work from you. That's why I open up my heart.

Speaker 1:

Now I had to play Misha Rees-King's favorite song. Can you tell our listeners what that song is to you? How does the song go to you?

Speaker 2:

That song impacts me because it's just times when I'm alone, by myself. There's been different life events that I'm feel like well, they, you know, I have family and everything, but it's God that's with me through those life events. Going to see, when I woke up and saw my mother was had gone on in Transition early in the morning, when I saw her pass my brother's murder, and it's just like open up my heart. Give me one word, just tell me what I'm supposed to do, lord. How am I supposed to respond? How am I supposed to go on? You know, he's the only one that can come from my heart. I can tell and talk to everyone about it, but he's the author of my song, the Captain of my Sea. That's what she said and that is so true.

Speaker 2:

That song, right there, when you asked me about what song would I have, and that's what came to my mind, that song, right there is this that would be like my life anthem, my story. I mean, if the God, the Lord, calls me home, that would be it, that would be the song, that would be the song If I just one word, you know, that guide me until I'm sure, because you know, sometimes we do things and if you talk with other people, they'll have you wavering and going back and forth and vacillating and deliberating over things. But when you just trust him, he won't have you doing that. He is worried and steadfast and true, and it will be. You will be doing things that look strange to other people, look impossible, look ridiculous. Why would you, honey? Just will never. When I just trust and know that I can only talk about my story, my faith, I can't give you my faith and you're not going to understand my faith. And that song is that. That would just be my song, my anthem, that's it.

Speaker 1:

Powerful, powerful, powerful, Just in this, coming from the power how speaker herself. I definitely resonate with her in my heart and I'm just like you. You know people fear what they don't understand. So in fear they may say, oh, you know, this person is crazy or this person is this, but that's only because they don't understand, and that's okay as human. But when God give it to you, it's not for nobody else to understand. You're going to always be impossible to people who don't have the same faith and mindset as you. So, listeners, just take notes. Okay, it's okay to be different. It's okay that you love God and you appreciate God and you show him with every single thing. You trust God and lean not on your own understanding and you will never, never, never fail. So thank you so much for that, Cherise. Right back to the next question. Could you share with us some of the remarkable events that you have orchestrated as a host, such as the Tina Marie Girls Day Party and Champagne Brunch, or the what is it? The Maricopa indoor black part?

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, yes, yes. That's such an honor because it was just like I was telling you when we first started. It really happened really before my mom was passed. It had passed, but I had really started engaging in that and my first event was I had went to a play. It was a playwright here, a lady named Brenda Combs, and she had told her story. At the end of telling her story, I wanted to hear her and she gave her testimony. I said, well, you know, I'm really wanting to get into motivational speaking and if I could talk with you about doing that? And so she took my business card and what happened was she talked with me and I did a small motivational speaking at her, one of her several sober homes. She had like 20 women there, and when I did it, the person that I had went to the event with, he got kind of upset with me because she said that we fell out over business deal, which I don't know how that happened because I didn't have no manager. So and so, after that happened, then, a year later, I did the Tina Marie Bridge Builders of Girls Day Party and Champagne Brunch and, oh my God, it was so phenomenal that I had to, was able to do that and get in front of more than 200 people, and I had never done speaking, but I had never done hosting or MCing before. But when you have the personality for it and the confidence to do it, knock it out the box. People. When I was out and about that's the young lady that did the Champagne Brunch oh, you did such a good job. You did such a good job.

Speaker 2:

And then, as time went on with me, as I said, being a realtor earlier this year, I had a listing and the gentleman that called me about the listing came and looked at the property and then he said how come you ain't never been in any of my concerts? I'm like what are you talking about? He said have you ever been? I said, yes, I have. I've been to this, that and the other and all that, I said. He said, well, I'm gonna be having another one. I said, well, do you need a host? He said I might.

Speaker 2:

And I believe in asking for the opportunity. If the opportunity come for you, that's the problem. We count ourselves out. So this is how I cultivate when you cut. So the opportunity came up for the first engagement, the one with Tina Marie, and the next one.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes what happens is the opportunity is there and you won't. And it's knocking, but you won't even knock and open the door and say, hey look, these are my skillsets, this is my opportunity, this is my confidence, even if you haven't done it before, who cares? They don't know, and as you tell them, you just gotta believe in yourself, read up on some information. If that's what you, if that's your gift of reading voice over or whatever it may be like. You know the creator for the hip productions, kim the creative. You know that's a gift in the calling that God gave her. You may not even want it, but the fact of it is it allows people to open up and spread and have the opportunity to stretch themselves and believe in themselves. It helps with mental illness, all those different things.

Speaker 2:

So cultivating the what she said productions to be able to speak and motivate and encourage people to believe in themselves, that's what it is, and so I'm glad for the opportunity yesterday to be on the stage, to be Miss Milcombe. That was, I feel like, for me, is a major role For me. It don't really matter what nobody else thinks, and that's another thing. We have to stop waiting to get a permission from somebody else to give you approval about what God told you. It's not a conversation with no one else and it's not a conference call. So that's how I came up with cultivating those different events by asking for it, taking the opportunity and learning and growing from it each and every time.

Speaker 4:

The atmosphere is changing. Nothing stays the same. Heaven is waiting for the mention of the name. The spirit is moving, burning like a flame, healing the broken by the one we proclaimed. Raise it up, feel the sky. Chains will fall. Mountains move. We'll lift him high. Speak the name, the name, above all other names. Speak the name, the name, the wind and waves. Obey All the heavens coming down. Feel the earth with the sound of the name, the name of Jesus. Gather all the wine. Hostages of shame. Miracles unfolding at the mention of the name. Our darkness is fleeing mercy, raining down Healing waters flowing as our lips. Make the sound. Raise it up. Feel the sky. Chains will fall. Mountains move. We'll lift him high.

Speaker 4:

Speak the name, the name, above all other names. Speak the name, the name, the wind and waves. Obey All the heavens coming down. Feel the earth with the sound of the name, the name of Jesus. Speak the name, the name of Jesus.

Speaker 4:

Strongholds are broke. I've been made free. I am forgiven. Fear has to leave. Strongholds are broken. I've been made free. I am forgiven. Fear has to leave. Your name is here. Your name is power. Your name is holy, my strong, strong power, wonderful name, glorious name, powerful name of Jesus. Jesus, speak the name, the name above all other names. Speak the name, the name. The wind and waves obey All the heavens coming down. Feel the earth with the sound of the name, the name of Jesus. Speak the name, the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus. I am forgiven. Fear has to leave. I am forgiven. Fear has to leave.

Speaker 4:

Where the earth is, hallelujah, kingdom of the king, there is an earth open like a moon. I will love you forever, love you forever, love you forever. Love is for love. Love is for love. Even if fear never gets better, it never gets better. You are the earth. You are the earth. You are the earth, you are the earth. You are the kingdom of all kings. Every sun like you, like you, my strong, strong power Tonight, you're worthy of all our praise and you are the king of all kings and no one can compare to you. Like you know, that's what we will.

Speaker 4:

Yes, I will, I will, oh, I will, yes, I will. Yes, we will. In the good and bad times, I will, I will, even if it never it, never, it, never. Oh said I will, yes, I will, I will. For the rest of my day, I will, yes, I will. Oh, I will, yes, I will, I will, even if it never it, never it, never it, never. Oh, said I will.

Speaker 4:

We know you are Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end. My father and my saviour, my father and my friends. Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end. My father and my saviour, my father and my friends. Alpha and Omega. The world is world. I am of the ages and of the universe and I'm so grateful. Everything I want to come back. I cannot wait. I will, yes, I will, I will, I will, yes, I will, I will, oh, I will, yes, I will, yes, I will, even if it never ends. It'll never end. Oh, no, no, do you believe that?

Speaker 4:

On tonight, name above all names, god, there's no one that can compare to you. You and I Name above all names, and tonight you're worthy of all our praise. Worthy at night, you're worthy. Worthy at night, you're worthy. Worthy at night, worthy at night, that's right. I will love you forever, love you forever, love you forever. Anybody gonna love the lost forever? I will love you forever, love you forever, love you forever, god. This is our cry to you. Love you forever, love you forever, love you forever. Even if it never, never gets better, it never gets better.

Speaker 3:

Whenever I gave God the keys, I'm letting them see the vulnerable part of me basically no-transcript.

Speaker 1:

Ms Cherise, you there.

Speaker 2:

I'm here. I was still on mute talking, can you hear?

Speaker 1:

me. I can hear you fast, Wehar. Tell me what you think about those two songs.

Speaker 2:

Oh, those two songs Love you Forever. Love you For the Worthy Of Our Praise. Those songs that's all I know to do is to love you forever, because, when I think about the things that I've been through, that God has still allowed me to be here and have my breath and my ability to move and move around and have faith. Those are other songs that I can have for my anthem. I love those songs and they're good praise and worship songs. What I was doing when I was listening to the words of the song, I just was just sitting here just meditating, just listening to the words.

Speaker 2:

The words have power and what you put into yourself. It's very impactful just to know that I'm to love him forever because he loves me, even when I'm unworthy to be loved, and grateful and thankful that he still loves me, no matter what, because I'm not perfect. But I'm purposed those songs, it just I just was like, well, I had never heard the songs before actually, so that's why I was so into listening to the songs. So I was just like, wow, it just put me in a headspace where I just was like kind of quiet with my eyes closed and just meditating on those words from those songs. They're good worship songs and those good words songs to start your day with, to impact, to keep on going, to knowing to love God and know that he's worthy of the praise. And it's part of the testimony and the test. Now I'm grateful for those songs. I had never heard them before.

Speaker 1:

Girl. Yeah, those songs, they're more so modern generation. I know with Bree Bobanow. I've been following her for a while now, if you have ever seen, is it? Her song went viral back in 2016,. It was actually just a video clip of her singing and she went viral just for that song and she said, lord, I need you to wrap your arms around me. That's Bree Bobanow and that song, that she, that love you forever. My several loves that song and I love it too. It just does something to my spirit. But also corn Hawthorne that speak the name, the name, above all the name. The name. The name. The wind and waves obey, oh yes.

Speaker 2:

I know, I know, yeah, I like Karen, karen Hawthorne. She's got another song. I can't think of it right now. Yes, yes, yes, she's got some nice songs as well. So those are some very good praise and worship song with the names, above all names. Well, you don't have.

Speaker 2:

There's been sometimes when I just don't have nothing else to say that this can say just say Lord, god, jesus, el Shaddai, jehovah, jehovah, jehovah, my shepherd, jehovah, my healer, jehovah Siskeneu, elohim, adonai, hosanna. Sometimes you just have to call on his name, sometimes you just don't have nothing else to say but his name and the name is what's in the name? And when you talk about names, this may be on the same thing with name that. But we have to be careful about what we allow and what we develop, how we call ourselves names, because there's power for the names that you call yourself and you allow people to call you. So those are certain things I'm like you just can't talk to me and call me.

Speaker 2:

That. That's not who got. When I said I was fearfully, wonderfully made, and he said I knew you before I formed you in your womb. He didn't say I knew that you were formed and then I called you this that he didn't say nothing. Derogatory, because he said you were the apple of my eye, that you were made in his image, so that. So that means that that means if it's in the name, that his name is in us and we're in him. So why do we want to continue to be in derogatory?

Speaker 4:

names.

Speaker 2:

That's not. That's not acceptable. That's just me.

Speaker 1:

I'm not there. Oh yes, ma'am, I'm definitely here. I'm trying to gather some things really fast. So how do you approach your role as a speaker and what messages do you aim to convey to inspire others?

Speaker 2:

Okay, how I propose my role as a speaker is I want to know make sure that I know the audience that I'm speaking to. I want to know what I'm talking about. One of the topics is the Triumph tragedy. The Triumph One is always been on yourself and then you know the seat. She said yes to herself unapologetically. Those are the things, and then one is just that I talk about. Is this motivation just depends on the group, or you know? You know the audience that I have and I approach that and, with those things being said, the different things that I've encountered in life, allows me to be able to speak and resonate with the audience, because I know that somehow, some way, I'm touching on someone's life, even if I don't know them, some kind of way that will impact him. I know that they know that, whatever they're going through because sometimes people they just feel too embarrassed and ashamed and I believe that when we go out and tell our secrets and tell what we're going through, and they realize that we're human and we can feel, we sometimes may feel the same thing, maybe not the same exact way, but I have some kind of experience in maybe feeling a little doubtful or not even the fact of be feeling daffodil, the triumph coming from the trauma of the homicide of my brother, that I have felt like I had no other choice. I had no other choice but to leave Kansas City because it was like I believe that, unfortunately, those that incident happened and me being helped being held up a gunpoint, and I believe that those things have to happen for me to get here to tell that story because if it would have stayed the same way, prosperous and overhorning the real estate now that I would have stayed there. But I had to go through that and have a valley season so that I wouldn't stay there, so that I would come out of the valley and into the like.

Speaker 2:

I say like this is Phoenix, coming up from the ashes, rising above, going higher and believing.

Speaker 2:

So I had to do some things that didn't make sense. So for someone who may be afraid to do something that doesn't make sense to someone else, because you know people say but they don't make sense and God said they don't have to make sense, they have to make faith. So, coming up with the opportunity to speak to people coming from my stories I will not hear about someone said they have a conference or something going on and it relates to something that I have going on, even like with the book. She said unapologetically to herself to herself unapologetically women's conferences going matter of fact, this Wednesday there's a lady that I know that she's at a woman's refuge and she asked me would I come speak to the young ladies that are there? And I said, sure I will. I'll talk about the situation of she said yes or stuff unapologetically, and how I got here by saying yes to myself. So that's how I come up with my talking points in the topics that I'm going to speak about.

Speaker 1:

Great, great, great answers and I'm just so, so blessed and thankful to have people like you that I can say you know what? I'm rubbing elbows with the greats, honey. Okay. I'm rubbing elbows with MCs, with actresses, with, with voiceovers, with speaking motivational speakers. I'm rubbing elbows with best selling authors, with realtors, with just nurses, dating and relationship coaches, politicians is so many people that do so many different things and all of these women impact the world in such a beautiful way and we all are so unique within our own right and I'm just so so grateful to have met you, girl. Ever since I seen you, I was like best, my sister, right there.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I'm right now I'm personalities. You know they mesh girl, you know, you know. You know how we do. You know how you know we can do a good key bag. We can be on here y'all for bad, bad hours y'all. Y'all ain't ready for us, okay, but we're going to keep it. We're going to keep it cute today, but y'all don't want us to get on here. Really start talk, because if we really start talking, I had 10 hours of am Okay, okay. So can you tell us more about your involvement in the motivational speakers form powerhouse and how it showcases your dedication to inspiring others?

Speaker 2:

Yes, my base is for me, because what happened was when I first found out about it was a young lady, a girlfriend of mine. She saw you might like but want to give with this. These young ladies, is this a bunch of women, of sisters, and they do them in power, powerful things. And when I was there and then the women were speaking and I said to myself, wow, I would mind being up there one day speaking of being a motivational speaker. So, again, we talk about words, talk about confidence, talk about the opportunity. So what happened was I joined the bridge builder social club and so we were, you know, talking about their stories. And so what happened? I became one of the motivational speakers or for the forum, and it was just a good platform for me to be able to tell my story, to inspire other women, but to also go ahead and know that what I have thought, what God has put in me, has come to pass. It's like the book of Rebecca. If you, for me, I write down. It says write the vision down and make it plain. If you, if it, if you forget, go back and read it and make Terry for a while. Terry means it may wait for a while you may have to hold on for a minute, but in your waiting, wait well. So. But the funny thing about it is it didn't have to. I didn't have to wait well, because I believe that when God has aligned you and ordained you to do something, it will have been quickly. You don't have to wait. There ain't no confusion, no, no hiccups, nothing like that.

Speaker 2:

So the motivational speakers form I got on that forum and I did a what went to Milwaukee? We went to Milwaukee earlier this year and then we did one in December where I spoke and I think I did another one. I, oh, I did another one. Actually last year I did another one with this. I went global. I did one. There was my very first one on October 29. I did that last year with a different group and there was a very first time and I believe in, even so, the young lady that she videotaped my speaking engagement is on my YouTube page and my what she said productions website and when I got done, she said I thought you said you had never done this before and she's like wow.

Speaker 2:

So I just believe that when God is giving that gift team and you're obedient and you write down a few things, but when it's really a true, authentic story, it just flows. It just flows. It don't have to be no rehearsal, no practice, and you might you know a few key points that you want to talk about. So the motivation speakers form has been able to impact other people. So, women that get up, dust yourself out. This don't have to be your story. We have to stop saying this is what happened to me this way. Okay, that don't have to be the story. Changes chapter, change the book. What are you going to do to make it different? You're going to stay in and while you're on it, are you going to get up? That's.

Speaker 4:

I know that it's God's gift to breathe. Yeah, he breathes. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I woke up one morning and I heard this song, or this phrase, in my spirit and that's all they were saying it's ooh, ooh. So as time went on and time went past, the Lord saved my soul and, hanging out with my sisters and I began to talk about the song and one of the sisters in the room I was telling her that all I had was the ooh, and she held her head down and she looked up at me and she said it's you. I looked at her like it's me. She said no, the song, you're talking to the Lord. You're saying it's you, lord. And then she began to say that. Then I began to say, yeah, that's what my song was saying it's you.

Speaker 4:

Everything I need is you, it's in you. So as I began to go over the song, I just began to just apply those words and I said, lord, can't nobody do me like you. Well, it's you, I know. It's you. Yeah, it's you, lord, it's you, lord. Everything I know I need is in you, in you, lord. And I know. I found out that ain't nobody do me like you. My, my, my, my, it's you, I know it's you, it's you, jesus, yeah, everything. I need.

Speaker 4:

Everything that I want is in you, lord, it's you, I know it, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know that it's you, yeah, it's you, it's you, it's you, jesus, you. Everything that I want, everything that I need, everything that I want is in you. Yes, it is Nobody but you, it's you, lord, it's you, lord, only you can shake my soul Can't nobody do me like you.

Speaker 4:

My, my, my, my, it's you, it's you, jesus, everything I want, everything I need, I need you, I need you, jesus, only you can satisfy my soul. In my soul it's singing, singing is you, you, you Can't nobody do me like you. You, you, you, you, no, no, can't nobody do me like you. No, no, no, can't, nobody do me like you. Well, can't nobody do me like you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yes, just like my mother and law, patricia Cox, so eloquently put it. It's you, jesus, can't nobody do me like you. Tell me what you think about that. That is so true. Oh, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead, grace. Yeah, yes, I was listening to this. Only you, jesus, only you can do me that. Nothing. I was listening to the words of that and there's only one.

Speaker 2:

The most high can only do us the way he does us love us, keep us, keep us safe and sound, protect us from danger, seen and unseen. And sometimes we are so naive we don't know that we're getting ourselves going into something that he doesn't want us to go in and then we like will be like. Well, why can this happen? That didn't happen. What I started learning is that when the rejection comes, or the replacement of the move, the removing of a certain circumstance or situations, and I just say, okay, god, I trust you because evidently when I do it, I'm not doing it right. You see, and know something way before I know. They say he knows the beginning from the end. So, yeah, can nobody do what's like him? Is you who keeps us and protect us as wakes us up. It's you who, guys, are footsteps, gets it back on right track. You say they make the rough age, the rough outplace is smooth. He will go before us and he has done that in my life.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, father, for that. I truly, truly, truly am loving this interview that I'm having with miss chris today because y'all, if y'all don't know Now y'all know this is why I'm rich, because miss chris gonna come with it every time, and every time she come with is always a word or affirmation or some type of positive message that she has behind even the joke she cracked because I'm telling y'all me and it's like we keep the all the time but even after every joke that she tells is always a positive message. This lady is just full of good, good energy and I'm just so, so grateful to have you here with us today. And, with that being said, what motivated you to become a voice actress and attain your vote, voice coach certification, and how has that journey and hands your skills and your opportunities.

Speaker 2:

Well, what happened was, when I started thinking about the speaking, I was like, well, I need to take some classes, so I know how to inflict, you know, the right energy, the right speed, the right volume. And I was like, well, in order for me to do that, I saw that they had a. There was an advertisement for voice coaches. I did a little research on different companies and I did the voice coaches and they had me do an audition first or whatever. They said. Well, you know, you have a good voice, but you need to learn to slow down. That's what I need, to learn to slow down. And so I thought, with that doing that, that would give me another opportunity not to be just a motivational speaker, but it would help me with that as well. So I know how to make sure that I am, because, you know, back in the day they used to have announcers that were like talking at you, but you want to talk to the people, you want to engage the people. So, knowing how, what microphones are to use the sound, boost, the patty things of that nature. And so what I did was I was like, well, you know what I can also do voiceover, which was so much is going on. These days people are doing things from home. That gives me another stream of income, and what it also is done is also help me get the confidence of when I'm doing a real or doing something for my own self and instead of me hiring someone else out, I can just do the voiceover on my own reels or commercials or things of that nature, so for myself to do another source of in stream of income. And that's another thing why I like being a motivational speaker, being an entrepreneur, because we have to show people what we're doing. I'm not just talking about it, but we're also leaving it out, because people are watching you. You can't tell someone to do something if you're not doing it. So you can listen to my reels or my commercials for my speaking engagements and you hear my voice on there doing that, which, when I get more comfortable doing that than the auditions were, come the other opportunities will come.

Speaker 2:

People may ask me to do their voicemails for their businesses or if they have a commercial. Like I have a cousin in Kansas City and he said when he starts doing his commercials or things in the nature, he would like to use my voice as a person as a voiceover for his commercials and I was honored that he thought of me because I sent him my demo tape and he was like is that you and I'm like you? Know other people? They said that's you. I'm like, yeah, that's me. Or even when I have done my reels and everything that's me. So it's about believing in myself.

Speaker 2:

Showing people and voiceover it's people doing it all the time. You see people doing commercials or the cartoons and things like that. I'm like, well, I can do that. But it also teaches you how to speak, how to have inflection and know your audience and know how if you're telling the story, if you're going to be animated or you're going to be professional, or if you're going to sound like you're doing a commercial or you're going to be sending, like you're doing the voicemail for a company but people calling in. So that's how that into wanting to do the voice the voice over acting- and you know what, I always wonder how people got into doing that.

Speaker 1:

So, because I, you know I was having a rough time trying to figure out, because I know I wanted an audio book and you know I was going on Fiverr trying to figure out like, okay, how do I get somebody to do the voice over for my audio book?

Speaker 1:

And I'm listening and like none of the voices really projected who I was, and so what I did was I started with a book trailer, right, and I was like, well, let me just try to do my own book trailer by myself, let me just see how it goes. And every like I got so many good reviews on a book trailer, everybody like, girl, you got, you can, you could do your own audio book. So, yes, because like, can nobody tell my story like me, but at the same time I was looking for like a younger urban, you know, girl from the Midwest who had like, because it just has to sound authentic, right. And so, yes, I'm so, so grateful Because you drop some major, major gems on how I can get started, not as like being a voice over actor, but more so, and about what steps I can take to better. You know my tone and my delivery as well, so I appreciate that.

Speaker 2:

So so you're welcome and on that they even told me that. So well, you know the way your voice is. It said you have a good boy for audio or station PBS. You know when they do what is it I can't think of it, the word now but you know when you're doing the oh gosh, it's the educational things.

Speaker 2:

I can't think of the words, the moment, but when you know you have the PBS, when they have the, I know the stories when they're doing education and they're doing those and their narrative, the narratives, the narrations of those, yes, yes, yes, those things. So, yeah, you can do your own audio book because you know how you wanted to sound at a certain point and you have, you're looking for a certain audience and audience, even though you probably attract anyone, but you want to sound like you. So, and again, that's another way of making another instant stream of income because you, when you're doing that, you're going to be doing your own book or whatever, your own audio, and you people going to pick it up, but you're going to be getting paid for that because you're using your own voice, your own gift for your own product, right?

Speaker 1:

That's right, amen, amen. See, I told y'all. I'm glad y'all tuning in. She gonna come with all the gyms today. Now I would get to the questions.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

No, this is not a lot. We would love to hear more about your role as Miss Milcombe the slumlord in the stage play. Unveil what is your character challenge and why are you as an actress.

Speaker 2:

Oh, my god, miss milk I'm. That is funny. Yes, miss milk on the slum. I mean the landlord.

Speaker 2:

So the funny thing about it is Kim Smith, her production, handling productions Kim we created, and so she had a play back in June that I attended. I thought, wow, that's so good. I was like, wow, wouldn't, I wouldn't what that would be like to be, you know, on the stage and that. And then she said you know, that might be a part that you have for you. I'm like a part for me. She's like, yeah, it's a, it's a slumlord. You know, you're a real estate. Anyway, I've been a landlord, I'm in real estate and things of that nature.

Speaker 2:

So the great thing about it was since that part is, I've been doing the rehearsal that because I had to take a sick way, you know kind of real estate, from caring for my mom and getting back into it and having to remember that being a property manager and collect the rent money and the emotions that you go through when you see people tearing up your place, your property, not paying on time. So I had been, I have been encountering some things in real life with real estate of collecting some things, and so I brought back that feeling. So I was able to really get into their role. Because she also said you know what I might reputation? That's funny because that's one thing that they kept talking about in this place. My reputation is taking care of business and handing my money and being the best known bookkeeper and, in time, trusting that at the church. This is in the play and so, yes, very, very much so about taking care of my business. I even do that in my life. Pay attention to the money that's coming in and out, and was down to the dollar. I'm like that may right. How did they get out of there? So the part was befitting for me, exactly, exactly, and I had never done a stage play, never active, before in my life.

Speaker 2:

Like it's different than when you're speaking, because it seems that you know that you have come up with and God has got you to say and become out of your heart. But a stage play is something that you bring into life for someone else and they have a vision in their mind. So what happened with the stage play? It stretched me to understand what it was that she was looking for, how she wanted me to move, how she wanted portray a certain part, part in the play and how to get to that, to that part which that means it stretched me, pushed me, I don't know say I guess they out of my comfort zone, but not out of my comfort zone because I know about being landlord, but how I thought maybe it should be. But this is how her vision is. So it's coming up with that person's particular vision, not yours, and making sure you're getting into the character of Miss Milcombe. And Miss Milcombe was handling. It was so funny.

Speaker 2:

I was told that I did a very, very good job. Only thing that I get is the coaching of because I naturally talk fast. Where they came from, I don't know making sure that I slowed down in my speech, but I did. I even had a rap that I had to do. It was so funny. Boy, that's funny. I enjoyed it and now I believe I'm more comfortable because I've done it once. I could do it again. But it's a lot of work Rehearsing and it's a lot of work.

Speaker 1:

It sounds like it's a lot of work. That's why I was like I wonder what it would be like. Right, like because you got to go through. You got to go to practice, you got to rehearse. I go to rehearsal different times a day and night. You know you got to do, you know calls on set and you know practice and those type of things and, like you said, memorizing your lines and you know know when to queue in, queue out. So I know that they had to be in a whirlwind for you. So that's why I want to ask more about your character and I'm pretty sure you slay Ms Milcombe and you say you guys have a um, yeah, because you was dressed to the nine baby. In your brain you was not playing baby. When you came, you came with it. I saw you all live. I was tuning in. I was like, oh, look at her, she dressed to the nine baby. She's not gonna play with them today. You did your thing. I'm so, so proud of you. And you said that was your first stage play.

Speaker 2:

Yes, very first stage play. Never acted before, ever in my life, ever.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes people just have that natural gift. There's like when God bless you with gifts, you don't even know what you possess. Intelligence comes out of you and in divine time. Right, and I know it was fun. It looked like it was fun, like you guys are having such a great time behind the scenes Now, oh man, could you as a co-author in in the book that she say yes herself unapologetically, the anthology can you share some of insight in the book and the empowerment it offers to women?

Speaker 2:

The insight and the empowerment that it offers to women is going to be, I believe, about 30 women telling their stories. They're going to be telling their stories about self confidence. It's some. Some people may have had some tragic, tragic things, events that he took and taking place in their life as a child, how it may have altered how they saw themselves or what they thought of themselves and the treatment disparate of it, disdain treatment that they may have encountered and accepted. And it comes to a breaking, an attorney pointing their life that they had to pick up the pen and change the story and realize that that's not who God called him to be. That is not who God told them to be, having to be treated, that's not how God told you to look at yourself or feel about yourself. It's going to be an empowerment book guide and we don't know who, but I know it will touch the tons of women. But I even believe that it will touch me and because just because this is for women does not mean that there not be a male man that may have gone through something similar. I can relate to that, because life happens in life has no gender. It's how we respond to it. It was opposed to reacting to it. So I believe that people will pick up that book. They will cry, they will laugh and be like oh my God, did you hear that? Did you believe this, did you? I can't believe in what this can be. This is ridiculous and how they still decided to change the trajectory of their story in their life, to get up dust and stuff off and continue to move on and tell the story because it's telling. The story is still healing because when you don't tell the story, sometimes you get a state of paranoia because you're thinking that people are thinking this and they're not even thinking nothing because they don't even know.

Speaker 2:

But when you've been hurt and when you have been in a favorite treatment or position, your mind says it's about changing the mind, it's about changing the word of God by renewing your mind. So that means every day you have to renew your mind. Every day is a gift from God. Every day we have to get up and think and renew our mind from the old ways and be the transformed by the renewing of your mind. So you have to make sure that when you renew in your mind, making sure you renew in the right way, with the right things, the right people, the right books, the right prayer, because you could be renewing your mind with some trash. Make sure that when that lesson be clear renewing your mind with some good things, some pure things, just and noble things, those things that are renewing and restoration and uplifting and redempted, not foolishness. So the book, I believe, is going to be so powerful when it comes out.

Speaker 2:

I pray that it's this best seller, not just best seller Well, you want the best seller, but the best seller for the reason to impact those who need to be impacted in a positive way, because you're not going to be. So many people are going through so many different things and it's mental illness, self-esteem, not loving themselves and thinking that they got to people. Please, you don't have to people, please. First you got to please yourself and love yourself first. Don't like it For it too bad. Move on, keep it going.

Speaker 4:

One shot to your heart without breaking your skin.

Speaker 4:

No one has the power to hurt you like your kin. You kept it inside, didn't tell no one else, didn't even wanna admit it to yourself. And now your chest burns, in your back aches From 15 years of holding up pain, and now you only have yourself to blame. If you continue to live this way. Get it together. You wanna heal your body? Get it together. You have to heal your heart. Whatsoever you saw, you will reap. Get it together. You can fly. Fly. Dark future ahead of me.

Speaker 4:

That's what they say. I'd be starving if I ate all the lies they fed, cause I've been redeemed from your anguish and pain, a miracle child. I'm floating on a cloud. There's no words that come from your mouth. You're the first to heal. Speak words of beauty and you will be there, no matter what anybody says. When matters next is what you think of yourself. Get it together. You wanna heal your body? Get it together. You have to heal your heart. Whatsoever you saw, you will reap. Get it together. Your choice is yours. No matter what is to choose. Life Is to choose to forgive. You have to try and hurt me. I'll break his pride. Take that weight off and you'll be ready to fly One shot to your heart without breaking your skin. No one has the power to hurt you like your friends Thought it would never change. But it's time to move on. That ugly duckling grew up to be a swan and now it just burns and your back aches Because now these are showing up on your face. But you're never really happy and you'll never be whole Until you see the beauty in growing old. Get it together. You wanna heal your body? Get it together. You have to heal your heart. Whatsoever you saw, you will reap. Get it together. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. You wanna heal your body? Get it together. You have to heal your heart. Whatsoever you saw, you will reap. Get it together. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. You can't fly, fly, fly, fly. You can live or you can't buy. You know that life is a choice you make. You can't give or you can't take. You can fly, fly, fly, fly, you can fly, fly, fly, fly, you can fly, fly fly, fly.

Speaker 1:

You can fly, fly, fly, fly. Yes, that was靳Ari. We'd get it together, and she touched on that song, some of the points that Misha Reese touched on, so that's the reason why I played it. Misha Reese, tell me what you think about that song.

Speaker 2:

That is one of my. I used to listen to NDI 3 all the time when CDs were out. I'll see it. She's gonna make me pull that out or put it on my pandora on my YouTube. Yes, you said yeah. What you saw you will read, is the people that hurt you the most. Or can be your friends or your family. Oh, my goodness, I thought about that song and I was like I had forgotten about that one. That one I liked NDI. I read that song was amazing, touched on point.

Speaker 2:

The words that you, you're the first one to hear, the words that you speak. Watch the words of what you say about yourself. And then what you say about yourself puts energy out in the atmosphere, because if you don't love yourself enough, people can tell that you don't and they will try to treat you accordingly. But what I say to you, jacqueline, when people know that a person is down, they're trying and feeling low and you take advantage of them. You worse than they are. Why would you wanna take advantage of somebody when you know they're in a vulnerable spot and they're not feeling well about themselves and they need help and they need to lift it up? It tells me you this is about. Down is the bottom of the barrel. If you do that, if you take advantage of someone and you know that they down you worse than they are you, I ain't got much to say to you. You worse, you just as bad. So watch it, you will reap what you sow. Be careful, you might be on the other side of that coin. Be careful.

Speaker 1:

Hey man, girl, I'm screaming through.

Speaker 3:

Hey man girl, I didn't even know you heard me. I'm like hey man, hey man girl.

Speaker 1:

hey man, yes, yes, yes. Now could you briefly touch upon your signature topics, such as saying yes to yourself unapologetically, chatting and chilling with Lady Cherise, tragedy, trauma and triumph, and always bet on you, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So she said yes to herself unapologetically. That is about again saying yes. That means learning to say no to other people and saying yes to yourself, learning to say it's okay to celebrate your wins, learning to love yourself, learning not to give explanation about what you decided to do for yourself. Some things that you know, some things that you do decide to do for yourself as best for you is not gonna be accepted for people. And what I learned in that, when you be saying yes to yourself unapologetically, I realized that people will be happy and for you being in a situation where, say, for instance, for me I'm gonna say this and maybe I'm thinking wrong. If I am, I apologize, but if I'm not, I'm seeing what I feel, because this is what I felt is my feelings that when I was going through taking care of my mother while she was still here and there was things that I could not do, places I could not go, and it was a different mindset because it was all about my mom first and foremost and being an obedient to God. But then, when that season is over and you have the ability to go out and branch and do different things and renew who you are and restore that people will get kinda acting kinda funny about that. Because, wait, how dare you really have the ability to be at the same level, if not higher than they are? Or they think that you were never and this wasn't ever, that I wasn't at this time. I wasn't at the same level. My position was different because I was caring for my loved one. So you have to realize that people who want you to stay, they wanna keep their foot on your neck, bottle neck you, but please don't dare get up to where I am, please don't. How audacious are you to believe in yourself and say no to me or have speak up for yourself or do something different? How dare you Chatting and chilling that basically started a year or two ago and basically what that was is I do, I have a page on Facebook and I'm just chatting and chilling about different things in life.

Speaker 2:

What's going on for the day, what God has done for me, what's going on in Maricopa and the town or the state of Arizona? Chatting and chilling, let's talk about. Like one time I said now is it me or is it? Every time you go outside is expensive. Like I went outside today and I went to the place to go get my tires checked and they told me that I needed new tires and I thought, cause it was making a wild noise. I'm like, is it expensive outside or what? What are we gonna do? Do we have a reprieve for this gas? I just do different things like that, or I'll do thankful Thursday.

Speaker 2:

So chatting and chilling is more about an interactive about what's going on in life and, you know, getting some response about what people are going through and what they're thinking. That's what that is about. Tragedy and triumph. That's more about the life of being the middle age and life turned all the way around for me after the homicide of my brother, which my brother was the third homicide in my family, and I talk about that in my submission of the books. I don't wanna give it all away. I need you to get the book and I get the book, and if you want me to sign it, I'll do that too.

Speaker 2:

So the tragedy anyone that has tragedy, how you respond to it or how you react to it are you gonna continue to allow that to be your life story or you're gonna look at it and say that I'm still here, I got through it, this is what happened, this is how God maneuvered me and this is how I came out of it. I'm on the other side and pushing people to believe that that doesn't mean that's the end of your story and what was the other one? I've always been on yourself. I've always been on yourself and all those things I've always betted on myself. Betted on myself that I don't need your permission. I didn't ask for it. God gave it to me. I'm gonna do things. That doesn't look orthodox to you Not in the bad way, orthodox, cause what I'm saying by that is people would have been.

Speaker 2:

The story was, when your brother was just murdered and your mom has this, you should stay here in Kansas City. No, I can't stay in Kansas City. I can't stay in Kansas City because, in order for me to help and have a better life for me, for my mother, I gotta go get one for myself. It's like a behavioral God told him to leave, depart from him, go to an unfamiliar place, leave, go to some other place where you don't know anyone. That's just what I did and now, even though my parents had transitioned on, I was able to live and have a better life. I'm not saying it was so bad most of the time, because that's where I'm from.

Speaker 2:

But it got to a point that things I'm like this is, I don't like the way this is feeling and struggling and deals with transactions not closing in from the miserable and blighted and things. So I always bet on yourself if God give you something. And here's the thing, just like once that movie with Will Smith and his son, whatever the movie is but it says, people will tell you not to do something based on their scarcity, lack, poverty, mindset. So some things you just don't tell nobody. You just go ahead and do it and you look up and you've done it and it's like I didn't know you was doing that. I wasn't trying to give you, I wasn't trying to ask for your permission, I just did it.

Speaker 2:

So that's what I always bet on yourself. When God gives you the vision, he will give you the pro vision. You have to sit down and write out your game plan and say this is how I'm gonna do it Sometime. You don't write out no game plan, you just move it. You just go ahead and maneuver it through and God opens and closes and maneuvers you through to the each steps and the doorways open, just like you and I on this podcast, doing the being part of the Bridge Builders and now being able to be a co-author being a co-author now knowing you and me and you and now I'm on your podcast. Listen, linda.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you better listen, Linda, Listen, listen. All you Lenders and Lutas out there listen. Okay, I love it, I love it, I love it. Look how she just threw that in there. That's why I say the powerhouse motivational speaker. Now, lastly, before you know what, I'm not gonna give you the last question. Yet I wanna go into song. If you don't mind, I'm gonna go into song. I ain't gonna tell you which one it is, I'm just gonna play it. Okay, Okay, okay.

Speaker 4:

This is the last take for the night. Understand that's kinda late and I gotta get home to my son cause he's so special to me and me. I gotta see him. I need to breathe him.

Speaker 1:

That's my baby. Don't call me crazy. I love the studio, but I love them all. Let me give you what I got. So I woke up in the morning feeling fresh to death.

Speaker 4:

I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, I went to sleep stretch, woke up refreshed. I'm so blessed. Yeah, yes, water in my face and everything is in this place Peace of mind, even my grace. I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, yes, my grandma almost lived in seat 92. I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, yes, yes. My town was born healthy and beautiful. I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, my mama's on my right side, daddy on my left, my son, father, doing this absolute. I'm so blessed, blessed, blessed, yeah, yeah, yes, and I know what I know, and I know what I know. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, struggles don't happen.

Speaker 1:

It's just the way it is. Ain't nothing coming easily? In this life.

Speaker 4:

Sometimes you've got to work and you've got to go and it's got to hurt. I'm sure you know. Take a look around. Woke up this morning listening to this song. It's so blessed, yes, yes, gonna rock this show on all day long. It's so blessed, yes, to be up in here with our hands up in the air, waving like we just don't care. We're so blessed, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, ooh, ooh.

Speaker 1:

Woke up in the morning feeling fresh. The doubt, doubt, doubt, doubt.

Speaker 4:

When, the, when, the, when the sleep stress woke up with fresh, fresh, fresh, fresh.

Speaker 1:

Mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama mama, Mama, mama mama.

Speaker 4:

I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 1:

I wake up in the morning feeling fresh to death. I'm so blessed. Yes, yes Do you feel the same? Way. Yes, I was over the groove.

Speaker 2:

I was grooving by myself. I'll be over the groove and by myself in my house. I'll be having my music going and I'll be like whoo, I'll break up in the morning feeling fresh to death. I'm so blessed. Yes, yes, I am blessed. I am so blessed. I am so blessed. Girl, you're gonna make me start crying. I'm so blessed.

Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm so blessed, so blessed. Thank you, god.

Speaker 1:

Lord, yeah, we didn't get.

Speaker 2:

I never thought I would be an author, I never thought I would be on the stage.

Speaker 4:

but God Won't he do it, he will do it.

Speaker 2:

I don't know where God is going to take me. I don't know who inspires me. I just don't know and sometimes I do things that people will be mad at me because I say no. Because if I, if, when God has given you a talent, too much is given, much is required. I cannot cast my pros before swine. And you don't have to understand, you're going to be, you have to just be mad. Because when I lay down and take my last breath, I want him to say well done by good and faithful service. I want him to say well done by good and faithful service. I want him to say well done by good and faithful service. So I'm not going to be accepted by everyone and sometimes that's just not. That's not easy for me Because I want to please everyone. But I understand that I'm not. If I please everyone, I'm not pleasing my Lord, my Savior, the most high. You're not going to like me and I have to accept that.

Speaker 4:

All the saints and angels. They bow before your throne. All the elders cast their crowns before the land of God and sing you are the of it all. You are the of it all, for from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. All the saints and angels bow before your throne. All the elders cast their crowns before the land of God and sing you are the of it all. You are the of it all, for from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. You are the. You are the. You are the of it all, for from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. Lord, you are worthy, from the rising of the sun to the going down of the sea.

Speaker 4:

Day and night, night and day. Let incense arise. Day and night, night and day. Let incense arise. Come on, cry out You're holy. Day and night, night and day. Let incense arise. You're worthy of it all. You're worthy of it all, jesus, for from you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. You're worthy. You're worthy. You're worthy of it all. Yes, you are, you're worthy of it all. We know everything to you. Yes, we do, for from you are all things. You deserve the glory.

Speaker 1:

From you are all things and to you are all things. You deserve the glory, lord Jesus. Praise God. What do you think about that one, miss Powell House?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he deserves it all, all glory and all praise. He deserves it all, all things, all things. I think that all the time, that song by CC Wynne is on point, because you know, I know that there's a, you know, the culture says you do you, you do you, but how do you do you without him? Because he created you. So he's worthy of it all. When people say, oh, shirish you this and you that, I'm like, yeah, you know, I tell people. I mean it's not me, it's all God. I don't want to because I have nothing with without God. Without the most, I am nothing, I have nothing. So he deserves it all he does. He's worthy of all the praise. He's with the resort reserve. He's deserving of all the praise, the glory, the exaltation, the adoration and love and honor. He's worthy of it all, all worthy. Do you?

Speaker 2:

Anybody woke up today and put breath in their lungs? Tell me who did anybody. Oh, I didn't get an answer. Okay, that means he's worthy of it all. You didn't wake yourself up and put no oxygen in your lungs. You didn't make yourself see. You didn't make yourself get up and move. You didn't make yourself get up and eat. You didn't make yourself run, you didn't do anything, so he's deserving of it, all, all things. When you're getting that car and you're making home safe and the lights are on, he's deserving of all things, all things, all things. So I just you know, that's just me.

Speaker 1:

I love it. I love it Now, as we are getting ready to close. What do you want your audience to take away from this podcast? Give them your information on where they can reach you, but, most of all, we've been on right now for an hour and 41 minutes. I want you to let the audience know what they can take away from this podcast. That will make them a better person. What do you want? What message do you want to convey to reach your audience?

Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. The message that I want them to reach, that I want to reach today, is never have a fear based, lack, poverty mindset and I say that I'm not always talking about material things. I mean lack could be not thinking that you're worthy, not thinking that you're lovable, not having enough confidence in yourself, believing who God said you are. Read his word and what he said about you and believe what he said. Don't take disdain, disrespect, despair treatment or lackluster treatment of thinking that you don't deserve, and speak up for yourself In a loving manner. Sometimes I know that that I'm not always work that way because you know Peter was a rogue, I know, you know people be talking about I thought he was a Christian, I'd be like. I didn't know they fought in the Bible. And sometimes you, you know I'm not condoning violence, but I'm just saying believe in yourself and know who God has called you to be. Use your story and your circumstances for the betterment. See how that what God wants you to get out of it. Because sometimes we say why did this happen to me? Why does this happen to me? However, god might be saying, I want this to happen to you because I want you to see that you have to lean and trust and depend on me for all things, for everything. It is not man, it's not people, it's not material things, because you can have all that. You still have no health and no strength and just have things that I want them to take away. And don't be scared, love each other. We try to have to ask for forgiveness, not to be mean, because this means so this, this, this earth, these things that are going on, so many things are so mean and we only think about ourselves. But we don't never know when God is going to put us in a place, in the space, that we can reach back and love someone and forgive someone, and that we can learn from each other as well. And I but I'm also grateful and thankful that God has given me this opportunity to platform, that I can speak about anything that I've gone through or haven't gone through, that I can learn from other people. And I don't think I know it all and I don't have it all, because if I did, I'd be like Enoch, I just would have went on up to heaven by now and I died.

Speaker 2:

So I'm, you know, want to be used as a vessel by God to do what it is that he's called me to do, and sometimes doing that you will look strange. You look weird. Society will make you feel like you got to fit in and we not called to fit in. We called to be separated and be holy and be apart and in that job doing that is hard. You'd be like I want to do this, I can. Can you get somebody else to do it? But that's your call to do it and he's. If he gives it to you, he'll give you the ability to opportunity, to the power of the provision to continue to do it, and it may look strange. How to reach me is shrieks at what she said that be it biz. Next, ch a R I s e at what she said that biz. Also, my website is www. Dot what she said that biz. My phone number is 602 699 2096.

Speaker 1:

And they can get in touch with you there and find out how to book you and those types of things.

Speaker 2:

Yes, they can book me. They can on my homepage of my. What she said, that biz, it'll say reserve now. That is, reserve now means to be able to go on there and request for me to speak, voice over, emcee, host, even coming to do more than so speaking. Come, talk about the book or the things that the topics that you talked about, what I always been on yourself, she says yes to herself on a power of jetically try to try a tragedy to try them. Or if they have something else that they want me to speak about.

Speaker 2:

It could be about entrepreneurship how was the life is like doing that and how you get started and what they may look like. It could be about self confidence, being a woman, being a middle age woman and being confident and being appropriate, about how you care for, care for yourself and how you dress. Even for the young ladies it could be those things. So I'm open. I don't want to close myself into a box because you know people have multi talents or experiences. You know want to close yourself out. So, and I'm also, the another thing I want to tell people is be ready for the opportunity. Opportunity may be present itself to you right then and there and you may not think you know, you may think that you don't, you don't qualify. But don't count yourself out because you don't know, you don't know that you may not, you don't know that you can qualify, don't why you got to discount yourself and say you don't qualify, you don't know that you don't, you don't qualify. If you say you don't, you're probably right.

Speaker 1:

And, with that being said, I'm going to get ready and close out in prayer and I'm going to leave you guys with us long.
