Twenty-First Century Disability
Let's be honest. Life with a disability can be difficult. Luckily, we are living in the twenty-first century. Parasports In the Community
The Paralympic Games is an amazing event. However, when they are done these amazing adaptive sports virtually disappear. This episode of Twenty-First Century Disability looks at these parasports from a community, or grassroots level. This episode follows three parasports that are available in Ottawa, Canada. These parasports are powerhockey, wheelchair fencing, and adaptive boxing.
